Hello there, people of the Sonic Fanon Wiki. It's been a while since I made any roleplays on this site, and the roleplays I have previously been part of are either over or are moving very slowly. So I'm going to start up a new one very soon, which I am calling the Clash of the Heroes Tournament!
This contest will be a single-elimination tournament that only heroes chosen by gods or goddesses may enter. The contestants may come from any religion or faith, both real and imaginary. The only restrictions on the faith of the combatants are that they must come from a polytheistic religion, meaning that there are many different gods/goddesses, each of which controls different aspects of the universe. Atheistic religions, those that do not believe in gods, are barred from the tournament because it is meant to measure the faith that the warriors have in their patron gods, not the strength of the individual. Monotheistic faiths, those that believe in only one god or God, are barred simply because having an omnipotent, perfect deity on your side would give you an unfair advantage over the rest of the competetors.
In addition, the competetors may not be the children of gods, nor may they be gods themselves, for the same reason that Monotheism is banned.
For the sake of consistancy and efficiency, those users who wish to join must be capable of roleplaying in paragraph format and must be capable of editing regularly. Each user is allowed to have no more than two characters in this tournament, simply to lessen the chances of your own characters having to fight one another, and I will only be allowing twenty-four total characters to participate in the tournament, there can be any number of characters of any faith in the audience.
