The First Round[]
Best Hero - 7 Nominations[]
"Hmph. Now that's more like it. I swear, if there was another hero-shortage and villain uprising incident, we would have to step in and do something about it."
Keela Tyris The Hedgehog: A constant contender of mine whom I feel is still greatly overshadowed by everyone else. I think I've developed her enough; I really need to actually use her more.
Blitz the Wolf: I can tell this man has been through a lot, and has definitely earned his status as a hero of sorts. I feel he leans a little too close to an Anti-Hero to be a full, pure-blooded hero though, but I'll still give him a vote. +1
Phalanx The Automaton: He seems to be a good hearted person, but outright killing people who commit 'acts of injustice'? That's a bit extreme, don't you think? At least confront the offender before attacking them.
Vexx the Timewalker: I've said this before, but his story reminds me of Chrono Trigger. And I absolutely love that game. He's kind of a tragic hero, being unable to settle down in a set time period. The call will never let you go. +1
Zion "Grail" Bannonwave: This guy has been disqualified.
Statyx the Hedgehog: Setting aside his relationship to the Ultimate Lifeform and all, (which still irks me, nothing personal) Statyx has come a long way. He deserves some kind of credit. +1
Ricardo the Wolf: So he saved the day from a serial robber, and now he's kind of a crime-fighter. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel something is missing here. His backstory, while fairly lengthy, feels too vague. I can't help but also note all the emphasis put on him being "tough" and a "good leader". All in all, I'm gonna stay neutral here.
Tye The Hedgehog: The introductory paragraph says he went from a vigilante hunter to a known hero. But his history section leaves off at a rather dark note; having a demonic arm and being known as the 'Red Devil' does not sound very heroic at all. Methinks you should have at least finished his history before bringing him here, because at the moment he's an anti-hero at best. -1
Total Category Vote Count: 3 For / 1 Against / 1 "As Iffed"
I was kinda hoping for better, but it could've been worse.
Best Anti-Hero - 7 Nominations[]
"We've got plenty of Anti-Heroes to go alongside them, too. That's a good sign, I think."
Dante the Shepherd: Rather foul-mouthed, but believable character. +1
Nightfall the BatCaracal: ...I don't really see it. She's a little bit dark and edgy, but one of the first things you need to ask yourself when making an anti-hero is this: What makes them a hero? She hasn't done anything heroic. She hasn't even done anything even morally ambigous to make her an anti-hero. The history just goes on about her (ir)regular life, and while it's kinda sad how she was abused as a kid and forced to live out on her own, it still doesn't make her an anti-hero. And I'm not even going to comment on the Dark Magic Curse out of friggin' nowhere. All in all, sorry but no. -1
Shun the Panda: Neutral, if only because I'm very conflicted on this character. He stands on a very thin line between Anti-Hero and Anti-Villain. It's intriguing, really; It's like his actions and motives have so much good and evil mixed in them that I can't get a good read on his alignment at all. All I can really tell for certain is that he's a very troubled man.
Squash, the Goddess of Stone: I'm not too big on the god/goddess/deity type characters, to be perfectly honest. But she only seems to be one in name only. Instead she's the result of a lab experiment--part of a series of experiments, to my understanding. But I digress, she seems to pull off the anti-hero role fairly well. +1
N-170 "Ares: Sure he's cool and all, but I'm confused about one thing. Why is G.U.N. in the Sol Dimension? Am I missing something here?? (+1 btw)
Blitzkrieg the Rhino: I'm gonna stay neutral here. He looks like he has potential, but I don't feel like he's there yet.
Leon the Hedgehog: No...no, I disagree with and dislike this character. There are a number of things that turn me off about this dude. (especially that one comment that bothered everyone else.) He doesn't seem much like an anti-hero either; he's more neutral if anything. -1
Total Category Vote Count: 3 For / 2 Against
This is a bit of a rough start...
Best Neutral - 6 Nominations[]
"uh...I kinda forgot who was supposed to go next, so I'm gonna go ahead and..."
"O-oh, it's my turn? Whoops, heheh, my bad."
Nocmere: How very interesting...+1
Neo Tranquil the Fox: Hmm.....I'm gonna stay neutral here.
Raidus 'Mercury' Atomos the Jackal: He seems neutral enough, but I feel there isn't enough info on his character or history and such for me to give him a vote.
Deadline the Lizard: Hmm...A sniper, huh? He doesn't seem particularly good or bad; he appears to be sitting right where he belongs on the neutral line. +1
Chikira the Swallow: I'm not getting a neutral vibe from this guy. It looks like he's on the road to being the hero of his tribe, just like the prophecy said. -1
Devlin Maroco: That power of luck is unusual around these parts. It seems just a liiiiittle bit OP though, despite it not being absolute. At any rate, exploiting that luck in casinos and looting the dead bodies of the unfortunate people who died trying to confront him under suspicion of cheating, makes him seem rather morally ambigous. I'mma stay neutral here.
Total Category Vote Count: 2 For / 1 Against
Is it just me or is this very gradually getting worse? No? Just me? okay.
Best Anti-Villain - 4 Nominations[]
"Looking good so far! Let's keep it up!"
Ethelia The Hedgehog: I'll be honest; I never intended for her to become an Anti-Villain. Everything just worked out that way. I think it's because I've probably put more into her character than any villain I've ever had. It's still unknown what's become of her after SpTH.
Marco the Grison: So...My main problem so far is that there is no info on how he got his curse, yet. Other than that, Marco is actually a really nice guy with a periodic demonic possession. Ravage is the evil one here, not Marco. I don't think I can call someone this endearing a villain of any sort. Just troubled. -1
Static Nega: Now that's a face I haven't seen in some time. I always gave him a vote but it was never enough to win him this award. Better luck this time! Whelp, as luck would have it, he's been disqualified at the owner's request.
Kate the Bobtailed Cat: This feels very forced, yet lackluster. To be painfully blunt, it's like you took a regular, good natured girl and tried to shove some mildly villanous traits into her face and call it Anti-Villainous. Sorry but...no. -1
Mirage the Husky: I was already well on my way toward nominating this before Mantis beat me to it. (Was trying to confirm if she qualified since she didn't have the category on her page.) +1
Total Category Vote Count: 1 For / 2 Against / 1 "As Iffed"
"I was trying to be optimistic."
Best Villain - 8 Nominations[]
"There are still more villains than heroes, though."
Avarice The Hedgehog: At this point I think it's safe to say that Avarice is probably the main villain of my series. Being the leader of the Black Rose, he is pretty much responsible for 80% of the crap that went down in Season 2. And in multiple character's backstories. And probably some other stuff we don't even know about. His twin sister may have a heart somewhere in there, but this guy is rotten to the core.
Gladius The Hedgehog: Where Avarice is the brains, Gladius is the brawn. I still feel his page is a bit lacking in comparison to the other two (Avarice and Ethelia) but I don't really know what else to add to him yet.
Wolfe the Hunter: Oh, so he's the one who made Statyx close off his heart to others? Dang. That alone warrants some sort of credit. +1
Sartorius Vhan: Kinda sad, but I'm gonna stay neutral here.
Hersephenes: I remember this guy...or thing. He(/it?) gives me the creeps. Actually it might be a little too much for Sonic Fanon, but I'll give it a +1 anyway.
Saul The Bobcat: I'm a bit conflicted on whether he's a true blooded villain or an anti-villain. I'm gonna stay neutral.
Saren Arcturias: This dude is...kinda different from what I was expecting. He's actually scarier than I thought. That motive isn't very common either. (At least not around these parts.) +1
Vilis the Goat Sorcerer: Better villain than Rodney ever was. +1
Total Category Vote Count: 4 For / 0 Against
I know we should be celebrating but why are the villains the only ones with a near-perfect score? I fear for the future.
Best Lawful - 5 Nominations[]
"New Category Approaching! Although it was put up last season, this is the first time it's actually put in action."
Obsidian the Marauder: He's a cool guy and deserves some credit, but I'm not getting a good read on his moral standards or how he follows the law or rules. Considering he's a freelance mercenary, he could essentially make his own rules, so there's a potential loophole there. Still, he seems good enough to have a fair code of honor. +1
Raider The Vanguard: So he's like a knight, pretty much? Cool. (Although taking the law into your own hands sounds kinda vigilante for this category.) +1
Vrai the Fox: Pfft, Speaking of knights, that quote at the top. +1
Phalanx The Automaton: He may be fiercely heroic, but outright killing a guy who committed a crime, no matter how awful it was, is still an act of murder. I'm sure he could probably get away with it if the bad guy really had to be put down right that moment, but still. Vigilance is not lawful. -1
Capon: ...I'm just gonna stay neutral here.
Total Category Vote Count: 3 For / 1 Against
Wasn't expecting much from this category, given the small number, but it's better than I hoped.
Best Chaotic - 7 Nominations[]
"This one, too! They go hand-in-hand, like Best Hero and Villain."
Hersephenes: Y-yeah. +1
Trip the Mouse: He's a bit...loopy. I doubt trying to roboticize people is legal. Especially not when all they have is a fever. Gosh. +1
Turncoat The Chameleon: The name alone is prompting me to vote him up. But god, this guy makes me sick. +1
Hamaveck the Hateful: Yes. +1
Diablo the Pyro: Diablo the Pyromaniac, more like it. +1
Edmund the Vulture: I remember this guy. Mantis said it best: This man is whacked. +1
Freeze A. Aerion: It's not like he's evil or anything. He just doesn't care. (about rules, that is.) +1
Total Category Vote Count: 7 For / 0 Against
IT'S A PERFECT SCORE! EVERYONE'S CRAZY WHOOOO!
Best Persona/Fursona[]
"Yeah...no thanks. I was already a bit skeptical about this category, and that's partially because the whole 'fursona' deal feels off to me. I wasn't actually sure how judging this category would go until I observed everyone else, and they were going pretty much based on how much the persona's matched the user. In the end, I realized that I don't really know half of these people on a personal level, so I can't make a fair, unbiased judgement here."
{SKIPPED}
Best Character - 17 Nominations[]
"Alright Pearl, you know the drill. Let's do thi--"
"You guys just went, and now you're gonna go again? That's not fair! And it throws off the general order of things!"
"We're just gonna hijack this pair from you two, if you don't mind."
Best Male - 9 Nominations[]
"Whoo! Haha, feels good to get a new category every once in a while, don't it?"
Thunder The Hedgehog: At this point I think the only thing that really holds Thunder back is the fact that he hasn't had enough time to develop. He needs time in the spotlight. I need to see for myself where his journey will take him. Until then, I can't see him winning this award.
Zap The Hedgehog: Honestly? The only reason I haven't added the extra bit of backstory to him was because I never did figure out how to go about some of the more important details--mainly Ciara's death.
Blitz the Wolf: mmm...Yeah. Yeah okay. I like Blitz. +1
Metal_the_Rogue: I'm leaning toward a +1, here.
Agent Jacob Lawson: I remember this guy. His backstory is kinda deep. +1
Hiero the Hawk: I feel Hiero more than deserves some mention, but good lord, now that I look, his page is massive. I don't have the time to read through it all, but I'll give him a +1 anyway. (I'm not gonna hold a grudge for when he tried to pick a fight with Smash in the ask blog either, but still, ya might wanna try to keep a leash on that guy, if at all possible.) +1
Sonar the Fox: Well he's an interesting fellow to be sure, but I think I'll hold my vote on him.
Vexx the Timewalker: Vexx, you're cool and all and I like you, so you get a +1. But as Kai said before, your page is kinda messy. Mainly the area with the infobox and all. It's kinda squishing all the text to the side and making it unpleasant to look at.
Tye The Hedgehog: I don't really have much of an opinion on you.
Total Category Vote Count: 5 For / 0 Against
This one's pretty great, too!
Best Female - 8 Nominations[]
"You said it, Splice! Feels better knowing that we both competed for the top here a couple years ago. Ah, good times."
Keela Tyris The Hedgehog: I still feel that Keela needs her own starring role somewhere, but as she stands now, she's still in better shape than most of my other neglected characters.
Crystal The Fox: Considering I only just started the post-timeskip era of my series, I haven't had a good grasp on how Crystal's grown over the years, yet.
Jessie Garnet The Fox: She kiiiinda has the same problem as Thunder, except she doesn't have some kind of adventure to be on. She just doesn't get roleplayed with as much as I'd like.
Willow the Chandelure: I'm just gonna stay neutral here.
Astrid the Fox: She's alright, I s'pose. +1
Phantom the Mink: Phantom's pretty good and an interesting character, so +1 for her. Though in her backstory it's said that she was given the name Phantom once she began her training. What was her previous name?
Arna the Tasmanian Devil: I'm mostly neutral here, but that backstory really kinda creeps me out.
Ricky the Cat: I don't really feel anything that stands out to me about this character, to be perfectly honest. Though she has a fairly nice design. Anyway, neutral again.
Total Category Vote Count: 2 For / 0 Against
Almost half of these girls were in our group, so...
Best Leader - 5 Nominations[]
"...somehow I feel forgotten."
Whirlwind the Hedgehog: The history is still under construction, so there is little information on his leadership. The opening paragraph is the only thing that talks about it.
Risto the Hyena: He's got some...issues, if the personality section was anything to go by. But my main issue is that there isn't really anything that explains who or what exactly he leads. Either something's missing/unfinished or he was placed in the wrong category. If it's the former, then he just simply isn't ready for this award. -1 Oh he's disqualified now. It was probably the latter, then.
Vlad the Komodo Dragon: There is a miniscule amount of information on his leadership. I mean, really. How am I supposed to judge this is I can barely get a feel on it? On second thought, if there's so little information, to the point where it pretty much only says "oh he's a leader now, by the way.", I should probably just vote this down. -1
Freeze A. Aerion: Again, I can't find anything that really talks about who or what he leads. These people have the Leaders category on them, but I honestly cannot see why. -1
Avarice The Hedgehog: I'm a bit surprised to see him here. He may be a villain, but I can totally see him treating his men fairly and leading them to the best of his ability. After all, he has to keep up the public image of him being a wealthy, respectable man. Elemental Rings Inc. was very successful during its time for a reason.
Jack the Cat: Gosh, this literally only just barely meets standards. Like, if it were missing one sentence in that second-to-last paragraph, I'd have to mark it down. Anyway, Once again, there's a serious lack of info on his leadership. In fact this guy needs a lot of work in general; he was put up here way too early, I feel. -1
Total Category Vote Count: 0 For / 3 Against / 1 "As Iffed"
Well I don't think that category could have gotten much worse.
Best Sidekick - 4 Nominations[]
Antonio the Cacturne: I'mma stay neutral.
Lockdown the Hyena: A lovable idiot cowboy sidekick to a serious loner sniper. What a pair. +1
Champ the Chao: He seems like he's grown a bit since the last time he was here. He's less of a pet and more of a sidekick now. +1
Aiwa the Bat: It doesn't talk much about how he was a sidekick. It mainly refers to him as Hiero's best friend. Still, R.I.P.
Total Category Vote Count: 2 For / 0 Against
"Whelp, that's a wrap! See ya!"
Strongest Character[]
"Heh, we've actually been planning on expanding our team again, but due to time constraints, we could never really do it. So we had to just settle for a guest appearance. even though we didn't actually plan to do that..."
Pearl The Echidna: Fun Fact: If Pearl had the exact same type of training as Smash, from the same length and intensity, she would have wound up stronger than him. (That's assuming she didn't wound up killed trying to participate in the Blitz Pit first. Smash already had a rough enough time during his early years.)
Darkyle The Hedgehog: Neo's comment on him reminds me that I considered having a rematch with him in SptH...
Sirus Mionium: This...thing....it scares me. +1
Blitz the Wolf: This guy could probably make it in this category. +1
Vexx the Timewalker: I always have a hard time wrapping my mind around all the powers of your characters, Memph. They always feel so complex to me, (even if they're sometimes simple.) but anyway, he's got enough weaknesses to balance out the strengths. +1
Raider The Vanguard: Hmmm...That environmental adaptation thingy is interesting. And if he's anything like Ike, I already know he's gotta be strong. +1
Raynard the Vampire Bat: Oh yeah, I remember him. Not bad. +1
Total Category Vote Count: 5 For / 0 Against
Holy...Do my eyes deceive me? Did we actually get, barring our own contenders, a perfect score on Strongest Character? Hooooooooooly craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa--
Best Genius - 7 Nominations[]
"This should be interesting. Let's see who's the biggest smartypants around!"
Chikira the Swallow: Hello encyclopedia bird dude. +1
Charles the Hare: Okay there is like, no way I can read all of this. From what I did read though, I've grown to like this guy. +1
Sirus Mionium: A monster this powerful, manipulative, and surprisingly intelligent should not be allowed to live. Kill it. KILL IT. +1
Raiden The Wolverine: Ah yes, I remember voting for him last summer. +1
Rika the Mink: Not enough info on her intelligence, however, (as far as robotics go) only being able to make wind-up toys is a rather endearing trait in comparison to the rest of the geniuses you see around here. If there were more info, I'd give her a +1 just for that.
Dr. Magic: As much as I like that design, I'm gonna stay neutral here.
Avarice The Hedgehog: There's more to being a genius than simply knowing how to build cool things. Aside from being the inventor of Elemental Rings, running his own factory and laboratory, he's also the leader of a sinister, undercover gang that has actually been around since before the series even began. It takes quite the chessmaster to stay hidden in the shadows for like, what, 15-20 years?
Total Category Vote Count: 4 For / 0 Against
Rough beginnings, but it quickly got better before we even knew it!
Best Mechanic - 6 Nominations[]
"Nope. It's not the same as Best Genius. A genius doesn't have to be a mechanic, and it doesn't take a mechanic to be a genius. Get what I'm saying?"
"...wait...I got that backwards...I think. Whatever, you get my point, right?"
Kitty The Cat Chao: "Don't forget about Kitty! He may need (or just want) my help most of the time, but he's no slouch either. If he wanted to make something on his own, he can and will. Let's not forget how he was in charge of changing my airship into a spaceship. (although he only got halfway through before I got there.)"
Trip the Mouse: Yeeaahh...you've got skills, even if you are a kook. +1
Ethelia The Hedgehog: We don't get to see TOO too many of Ethelia's works, but what we do see is used against you in SpTH. That Giant Crab Walker? Boss fight. That sweet weapon she's got? Used to bash people's faces in. That huge freaking cannon? Spoilers to go into further detail. Either way, she's got it where it counts.
Gears the Ferret: This guy has a lot of emotional trauma and all, but it surprisingly doesn't seem to hold him back from his profession. Well done. +1
Kester the Echidna: Okay, okay, there are too many things about this guy's history that just made me go "wwwaat."
But I need to stay focused here, because these are irrelevant details. The main point I should be addressing is how it very briefly says that he has made a few inventions, but doesn't go into much detail about them. That and I'm not sure how a kid who had an ordinary education could end up being smart enough (let alone having the resources) to build "inventions beyond belief". His upbringing makes it feel kinda...half-baked, to be honest. It doesn't help that he has inexplicable super hacking skills.
I was going to give this a -1, but I feel that'd be hypocritical of me since I never did include how Gizmo developed his skills in his backstory either (although to be fair, I'd have to finish Season 1 to really answer that.) But even so, Gizmo had humble beginnings. His first invention was a modified screwdriver, after all. And he was somewhere between 12 and 14 then. (For reference, he was at least 9 when he started really studying for his career as an inventor.) This guy just seems to jump right into the action with little to no learning curve.
Total Category Vote Count: 2 For / 0 Against
This time we did take up half of it.
Most Attractive Character[]
"And here we are, at one of the most well known categories. It got paired up this season, just like Best Male and Female did. This means there are some returning winners here to try to make it big!"
Most Handsome Male - 9 Nominations[]
"Speaking of which, we have one right here now!"
Vexx the Timewalker: There's a reason he won this category before. Can he win the ultimate prize though? I think so. +1
"y'know what, I don't have anything to say to this anymore."
Cryo the Wolf: Pretty rough and rugged looking. That eye-patch may appeal to some, but that red glowing thing on it is a bit more on the unsettling side...
Aeon the Hedgehog: Cool, yes. Not so sure about the handsome part, but what the heck. +1
Edward Paramore: I'm a bit on the neutral side here, although that yellow hair kinda stands out of place. The guy looks like he believes he deserves this award, but to be fairly blunt, he looks like a conceited teenager to me. (That has nothing to do with whether he is or isn't handsome.)
Rage the Wolverine: No. I'm not really seeing it, sorry. I mean he's not ugly, so I can't vote him down, but he looks really...off, to me.
Romeo Knight the Fox wolf: He may have a bit of a feminine flair to him, but he somehow pulls it off without looking like a sissy. +1
Blitz the Wolf: You can tell by his face that he flat out knows he's gonna win this award. +1
"What, me? Handsome? Naahh, you're just saying that! Ahaha...Really, I'm nothing special, but thanks!"
Total Category Vote Count: 4 For / 0 Against
Not AS good as I thought it'd be, but still worthy of a couple claps.
Most Beautiful Female - 10 Nominations[]
"Alright, let's get this over with. I still feel awkward judging girls by their looks. I'm not a model critic, y'know."
Nudge the Lopunny: Hmm...I dunno. She doesn't look bad, and some may find her rather attractive even. But for some reason, something feels off about her to me. I can't say what it is for sure, but it slightly bothers me. I'm neutral here.
Aileen the Jellyfish: my god this character is adorable. +1
Sarah The Echidna: Sarah was the quite the gentle beauty in her time.
Yin the Peahen: Yes. +1
Phantom the Mink: Yes again. +1
Rova the Hedgehog: I will admit once more that she is attractive, and her new outfit is better, but she's still rather skimpily dressed for me. I will remain neutral.
Christina "Christie" the HedgeCat: (judging based on her new look at the top of the page.) Your artwork is improving, although she kinda stands out in comparison to everyone else here. I personally don't think she can keep up with this type of competition, but design-wise, I think she's pretty good. +1
Jasmine the Cat: Fairly certain that I was the one who nominated her. If not, I sure wanted to! +1
Kloey the Fox: Ohh yeeaahh, I remember her! Sure, she's pretty great! +1
Alexis Petals: Sure. I like her design. +1
Total Category Vote Count: 7 For / 0 Against
"I daresay this worked out...Beautifully!"
Best Speaker - 6 Nominations[]
"So this category got changed 'cause we found it way too awkward to slap an award over a quote, which could be anywhere, really. Sometimes it isn't even on a page anywhere. So with Best Speaker here replacing it, this means Group Quotes probably won't be coming back."
- Johnny "Guitar"
- "Nothing is for nothing. Every nothing we do does something. The air you are breathing while you are here, doing nothing, is doing something: giving you the capacity to live and do nothing. The air is graceful enough to let you continue doing nothing, which, as I said before, is something. That something isn't good, though, doing nothing, which is a something, is something that proves you are not reliable enough for people to trust you with something or to do something. People who see crimes on the street and do nothing are doing something: letting a bad person do a bad something. The good person, instead of a bad nothing, does a good something to stop the bad people doing bad somethings. They, in the end, will be remembered for their courage to do a good something. What I'm saying is that you are defined not just by the somethings you do, but also the nothings. So what are you going to do: A good something that will put an end to the bad people doing the bad somethings and make some things better, or do nothing which is a something that allows bad people to do bad somethings?"
- "Now look, you confused Kitty."
Really, this could have been worded SO much better. I mean, I get the point you're trying to make, but as it stands now it's just a huge wall of text that's difficult to read and full of nothings and somethings. It takes too long to get to the point. I had to reread this a few times since it kept going through one ear and right out the other. -1

- "About the topic of "not believing in anything you don't see"... Have you ever thought that everything we, Mobians, have been through and were throughout history ever since the beginning of time and space always depended, without exception, on feelings and emotions... that were invisible all along?"
- You raise a fair point. +1

I can see most people buying my clothes and storming into my boutique. And just because I am real busy either in the boutique, photo shop, the Fifi Gymnastics Centre, or just on Instagram, doesn't mean I can't devote a hangout with some of my honorary-family best friends like Lexi and Chelle, and some of my friends that I don't hang out with that much, like Kester or even you. I love fashion and style, but not as much as I love my fans, and more importantly, my friends..."
- Well...I dunno. It's kind of a handful to read, and the general point is mostly generic, but it's not all bad. I'm neutral here.

It's clear that there's no use trying to argue with you fools. A few sacrifices are insignificant in comparison to the millions threatened by this menace. I will do this my way; Interfere, and I'll kill you too."

"Eh..."
Best Group - 6 Nominations[]
"Personally I was always rather 'meh' about this category. But hey, why not, let's do it."
EQuartz Industries: Rule #14 - "Any member or recruit named Ridley shall be immediately expulged from EQuartz without any explanation or overview of their rights." ...but...that's... +1
O'Clock Family: I always found this family to be rather endearing. +1
Inferno Strikers: I wouldn't call this a group. Two people aren't enough for this, no matter how cool they are. You need a couple more teammates here. -1
Team Codex: Hmm...I'm going to stay neutral here.
The Society for Environmental Preservation: I'd imagine a large portion of their supporters hail from Greenflower City. I'm gonna stay neutral though since there isn't much to this page.
The Brotherhood of Thylacines: Oh yeah I remember these people. +1
Total Category Vote Count: 3 For / 1 Against
"Eh...better I s'pose."
Best Item - 5 Nominations[]
"Y'know this is one of the few times Gizmo's inventions haven't halfway taken over this category."
Moon Boots: Named after and somewhat inspired by my favorite thing ever from my favorite series as a child. I'd love to visually design these shoes; remind me to get on that later.
The Hell Prizm: I'm gonna stay neutral on this again.
Lindwits' Tarot: These are very interesting. +1
Dark Prizm: Again, neutrality vote.
Ambient Chaos Energy unit (ACE): Hmm...This interests me as well. +1

"A little more eh..."
Best Weapon - 6 Nominations[]
"I can't help it if people don't wanna nominate stuff, Splice. Luckily this season's better...thanks to the mantis guy."
The Hand Cannon: This is still my favorite weapon. I've been constantly searching for new uses for this cannon. I've already come up with a combo with the Power Glove below.
Power Glove: This thing got a promotion from Accessory to Weapon. Gizmo felt it necessary, given what he was up against at the time.
Bloody Rebel/Barrier Force: So basically an upgrade/extra form for a pre-existing weapon? Sounds cool. +1
SN-5 Sandblaster: This is new to me. It may be a close-ranged weapon, but it appears to be very effective. +1
Frozen Claw/Thunder Rake: Heh, I like the sound of these. Not only to they kind of balance each other out, but they can combine into one pretty sweet weapon. +1
AntiQuartz Scrapped Behemark: My initial reaction upon seeing this: "What the heck is that?" On one hand, I feel tempted to vote this down for being in the wrong category, but even if it is a giant mech war machine, it's still technically a weapon. Heck, this thing is a friggin' Wily Machine. +1
Total Category Vote Count: 4 For / 0 Against
I wasn't expecting another perfect score here of all places! This has a pretty poor track record, after all.
Best Fanfiction - 5 Nominations[]
"We normally start skipping stuff around this area due to time constraints. Don't ask me how we managed to fit this in."
The Metarex Saga: It's a shame this isn't canon, as this is the cleanest fanfic I've made so far. (Cleanest as in, little plot holes and things I need to go back and revise, and I'm already halfway through Chapter 5.)
The Fire Under the Stars: Well...*shrug* I'mma stay neutral here.
Dangerous Determination: I'm just kinda skimming through these. They're not bad, though. I just have a neutral standing on them.
Lone Wolf: Agent Lawson's story? Oh, I liked that when it was on his page. This ought to be good. +1
The Return: Prologue: I was supposed to be skimming through these, but I slowed down with this one. I guess it really caught my attention. I'll probably come back to this when it gets continued. +1

Makes me wanna get back into writing.
Best Roleplay[]
"I didn't want to, but unfortunately we began running out of time, so we had to skip this."
{SKIPPED}
Best Fan-Project[]
"I doubted we could finish this in time either, so I had this one taken out."
{SKIPPED}
Best Picture[]
"It's time for the ever-loved picture contest!"

Has this category ever let us down?
The Results[]
Total Vote Count: 65 For / 12 Against
That's gotta be a new record right there or something. I should really keep track of these things.
Whelp, stay tuned for the final round, folks!
The Final Round[]
"Alright, it's time. You ready everybody?"
Best Anti-Hero - 3 Way Tie[]
"Alright, let's see. Anti-Hero, huh? Let's go over each of them."
- "Shun's cool, I have to admit that.
However, whether he's an anti-hero or an anti-villain is hard to say. It's like a revolving door, really. Probably the only reason he probably qualifies for this category is because he's a protagonist. And as you should know, a protagonist isn't always the good guy. He's just the one the story focuses on and makes us sympathize with.
- "Shun's cool, I have to admit that.
- "Now Squash, she used to be a villain, to my understanding.
When someone pulls a Heel-Face Turn, they generally don't get past Anti-Hero on the heroic scale. That's already reason enough for a vote, but besides that, she's pretty well done."
- "Now Squash, she used to be a villain, to my understanding.
- "Ares isn't bad. However, there is something that I fail to understand about his backstory.
What is G.U.N. doing in the Sol Dimension? I don't know much about the Sol Dimension, but I'm fairly certain our military has no business over there. It doesn't really explain what's up with that, or if the other side has their own Guardian Units of Nations, or whatever. This bothers me.
- "Ares isn't bad. However, there is something that I fail to understand about his backstory.
"In the end, my vote goes out to Squash.
Out of the three, her story and her anti-heroics seem to flow the most smoothly. Good luck to you.
Best Villain - 3 Way Tie[]
"Alright, let's see what we've got here!"
- Hersephenes
"If I could I would have voted for Avarice, but rules aside, only we know just how deep his treachery goes. That being said, I'm gonna go with Vilis. He seems to fit in more than Hersephenes, and I just have a better overall opinion on him."
Best Male - Tied between Two[]
"Alrighty, then! Let's break up this tie here, shall we?"
- "So that's why pitting these two against each other is like the Unstoppable Force meeting the Immovable Object. This guy is endearing in his own way, and I love his role as a character. Can I just remind you how many Chrono Trigger vibes this guy gives me? I loved Chrono Trigger. And why hasn't this been nominated for Best Picture yet? Gosh, you guys."
"It's a tough choice, really.
Judging them on their own is impossible to me as they're total equals in my eyes. However, given the circumstances, Vexx is already confirmed to be walking away with 3 other awards, while Hiero hasn't gotten one yet. 3 is already like, the highest anyone's ever gotten in a row. Four would be amazing, yes, but I really don't wanna see Hiero lose either."
"So my vote goes with Hiero. Good luck, man!"
Best Leader - Tied between Two[]
"I'm not really left with much choice, here. I'm staying neutral."
Best Mechanic - 3 Way Tie[]
"Alright, this is where I come in!"
- Gears the Ferret
"Considering Gears' competition was composed of me and another from our series...rule of thumb states that I should go with Gears."
Most Beautiful Female - Tied between Two[]
"I think this is the first time I've ever gotten this category."
- Jasmine the Cat
- "She's quite the looker. Nothing too flashy, but avoids a plain look.
I like her shade of purple, although her clothes blend in with her hair. It's not a big problem as it's not too difficult to make out the differences. Anyway, I personally was going to nominate her here, but someone beat me to it."
- "She's quite the looker. Nothing too flashy, but avoids a plain look.
- "Admittedly, I keep forgetting that this person exists.
It's not a big surprise that these two tied. She's got a lot going for her; Nice mix of colors, (although the red is a bit bright--especially noticeable on her tail), pretty eyes, good choice of attire, etc. What is surprising though is how she hasn't won this category before. She's a frequent visitor here, and hasn't once been awarded. I think this is the closest she's ever gotten, actually."
- "Admittedly, I keep forgetting that this person exists.
"Tough decision. They both have every right to win here. Hmm..."
Best Group - Tied between Two[]
"I already know where my vote lies here, but let's follow proper procedures."
- EQuartz Industries
- "A big booming company like this is hard to miss. Even I've heard of these guys. After the whole deal with the Elemental Rings Inc. I can't help but feel skeptical about the morality behind the higher-ups here. I don't have any basis for suspicion, but these guys show up everywhere in the marketing industry. It's like they'll do anything. Who knows what all they do for business?"
- O'Clock Family
Best Weapon - Tied between Two[]
- Frozen Claw/Thunder Rake
- AntiQuartz Scrapped Behemark
- "This thing kinda fuels Pearl's worries about Equartz, I think. Something this dangerous previously in the works is a good enough reason to distrust them. Odds are, it'll fall in the wrong hands long before the right ones find it. And when it does...
The Scrapped Behemark could make a really awesome final boss sequence, but as a weapon, I personally like the Frozen Claw and Thunder Rake better.
Best Fanfiction - Re-Vote the Entire Category[]
- The Metarex Saga
- Lone Wolf
- The Return: Prologue
"I'm gonna go with The Return: Prologue. It really captured my attention. Great job, man!"
Best Roleplay - Tied between Two[]
"Figures we'd have to come back to this even though we skipped it."
- "Anyway, the roleplay seems to have been restarted, and it hasn't gotten far enough for me to get a good grasp on what exactly is going on, or where this story's going. And considering Crymson's been AWOL for the past couple years or so, it doesn't look like it'll be moving onward anytime soon, either."
- "Mysteries of the sea beneath Angel Island? Huh...I had a theory that Angel Island, while airborne of course, slowly drifts across the skies. Meaning it's never actually in one, single place forever. Isn't it natural for something that stays airborne to drift about? That's how it goes with every other floating island I've heard of, at least."
- "Ugh. Well it would have been promising to me, but seeing that conceited rabbit over there bragging about how he can breathe under-water with his fancy toys was a major turn-off for me."
"Ignoring Smash's complaints, I'mma go with Mission Abyss, here."
Best Fan-Project - Tied between Two[]
"I was the one who skipped this before, so I think it's only fair that I take responsibility for it here."
- Sonic Team Defenders
"This one is a little bit tough, but I'm going to sit with Sonic Team Defenders for now. I have special respect for fangames that are actually in development."
Best Picture - Tied between Two[]
"Right, so that leaves me with the gallery. I'm cool with that."
BONUS ROUND!
"Whoa what? A bonus round? What the heck!?"
"Yeah, under normal circumstances there wouldn't be a third round. This season I was planning on having this Character of the Year award at the end, buut, y'know, things didn't quite work out the way I'd planned."
"...I honestly wasn't counting on ties in the sub-categories."
Best Character[]
"Alright let's see here. We've got Hiero vs Phantom, today."
- Best Male) Hiero the Hawk
- Best Female) Phantom the Mink
Overall, I feel that Hiero's been through a whole lot more as a character. He's developed quite nicely, so I'mma give the vote to him.
Most Attractive Character[]
"And over here we've got Vexx vs Jasmine."
- Most Handsome) Vexx the Timewalker
- Most Beautiful) Jasmine the Cat
"Hmm...This is honestly a tough one."
"Call me biased, but I feel like I can relate to Jasmine in this category."
"Well Vexx looks pretty cool, too..."
"Well we gotta choose one of em. We need to break this tie or else this'll never end!"
"do I need to flip a coin again?"
Best Roleplay - OVERTIME[]
"...this wasn't supposed to happen, by the way."
- Roleplay:Breaking the Crimson Flow of Rage ~ 2 Points
- Mission Abyss ~ 2 Points
"Mission just get this over with."
"IMO this should have won already. I mean I know there's some script format in here and not a lot of people really like that, but the rage one didn't really get anywhere and is on hiatus."
"Not much of a contest, if ya ask me."
"Sad to say it, but we won't be doing Character of the Year this season."
"It was intended to be the grand finale of the season, starting the year off with a bang. But the winter awards have dragged on for nearly two months. Everyone's tired, so this bonus round ended up being a huge flunk as a whole."
"Barely anyone voted, and I do not want to judge something as grand as Character of the Year based on 2-3 votes maximum. It's not right. Plus as Chames said, it isn't right to judge Character of the Year based on winners from this season only."
"I'm gonna have to take this idea back and figure out how to go about it next year."
"...Well, this is a rather depressing way to end things off."
