This year, Smash and I will be voting together! I'm just gonna set this page up a lil bit earlylate, I'll change this intro when I get the time to ;v; Smash's Edit: Okay so I was already forced to have to upload a barebones voting blog compared to my usual gig thanks to time constraints. But I'd already started before and somehow my notepad file got messed up. So, it's even more barebones than it was gonna be. I'm gonna go back and update this later on, though of course our votes won't change.

Best Hero[]

Blitz the Wolf:

Smash's Vote: How the heck hasn't Blitz won this yet I don't understand +1

Elly's Vote: Blitz is pretty much a SFW classic at this point! A bit weird he hasn't won it. +1

Astrid the Fox

Smash's Vote: I find that the backstory clashes too much with the current story for this hero to be totally believable. To sum it up, Astrid starts off nice. Her sister dies, and her uncle couldn't give a crap. She's depressed. Her uncle dies inexplicably, and she's a homeless orphan. She gets taken in by a hooded shady guy and is trained to be an assassin. She starts getting more aggressive and vicious. Then she's told to murder an innocent man, which she refuses to do. She witnesses the man brutally slaughtered by another member of The Clan, which horrifies her. That night she goes on a killing spree and wipes out the entire clan. Then later she turns around and says "I'm going to protect the people of Mobius!"

There are at least three problems I have with this. 1: Given her entire backstory, and ending with a killing spree of a dozen people or more, give or take, I can't possibly see this girl turning out to be anything more than an Anti-Hero. Killing not one, but multiple people would definitely affect your mentality in some negative way. Some people can't even get past killing one person without having some sort of breakdown. She was 14 at the time, too.
And yet, she's portrayed as a full, (almost?) pure hero.
2: She slaughtered everyone in that clan. Not a one was spared. Did she ever stop to consider that not all of them were bad? There could very well have been others in the clan that were just like her; ones who didn't want to kill either.
3: Let me emphasize this. In a single night, this 14 year old archer and assassin in training murdered an entire clan of trained assassins, including the experts and masters, by herself. This bothers me to no end. What kind of lousy assassin would let themselves get killed by a rookie overnight? Why didn't any of them notice her? Shouldn't they be trained for ambushes and stealth assaults? Didn't any of them suspect that she might run off and tell the authorities or go maverick or something after she refused to kill an innocent person? How did they let this happen?
So yeah, there's my FIRST rant character analysis for the day. In the end, I'm going to stay neutral. There's a big clash, but end the end she's still part hero, I guess.

Elly's Vote: Smash basically recounted the discussion I had with him about the character while we were doing these votes. I'm similarly neutral.

Aiwa the Bat

Smash's Vote: This man gave his life for his homeland. I wouldn't dare dishonor his bravery with anything less than a +1.

Elly's Vote: Aye. +1

Rick the Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: oh my god where do I even begin on this one? Geez. Okay look, I could write an entire essay on what all is wrong with this dude, but that would be way too time and space consuming, so I'll just sum this up as best as I can.

1: First thing we get is a black, monochrome sonic advance sprite. Then we get a white sonic 3d model.
"Rick the hedgehog is a antimorphic grey hedgehog"
2: Generic chaos powers, a bunch of super forms and dbz-esque ascention with no consideration for balance on an incredibly edgy "preteen cool" character with a demonic father (Mephiles in this case, making it even worse) who just comes off as a jerk if quotes are anything to go by.
3: His battle destroyed the entire earth and then he has the power put it back together, reviving everyone and everything on it!? And he learned that from SILVER????
4: There is no 4. I'm done. -1

Elly's Vote:

4: NO -1

Thunder The Hedgehog:

Smash's Comment: The more I've worked on revamping my series, the more important Thunder's become. To think that he went from being such an overshadowed main character to essentially being the gang's MVP. This guy's a lifesaver.

Elly's Vote: I've said things about 'im in previous awards, and they still hold true here. I really like him, his family, his background, and all the adventure! +1

Solomon The Bobcat

Smash's Vote: I nominated him myself. I felt he deserved it, with what he's been through. But I gave him another quick once over, and though my vote remains the same, I found that there is one glaring problem with his backstory. Once again, we have a young child beating a grown man to near death. It's not as bad as Astrid, oh no. But Solomon nearly killed Saul when he was only 12 years old. Yeah, I can't really buy that, even if Solomon was trained by him and Saul was kind of not in his right mind. But the latter is a moot point because he was on a killing spree before his son defeated him!

Regardless, Solomon himself is still heroic enough to deserve a +1, all things considered.

Elly's Vote: On the other hand, I'm a little neutral here because of the background silliness. It's all a little too edgy and ridiculous for my tastes, and it starts to get into narmy territory. Though not as much as his previous character.

Gears the Ferret

Smash's Vote: Dunno about this one. I'm not seeing the heroic qualities here. If anything, this guy is neutral.

Elly's Vote: Yeah, this guy doesn't seem to be a hero. This is just a person thrust into a scenario that he then deals with. It's just neutral.

Best Neutral[]

Squash, the Goddess of Stone

Smash's Vote: yeah um, anti-hero's aren't neutral. She's a decent character, but she's a villain turned anti-hero. There is nothing neutral about her. -1

Elly's Vote: I believe our discussion was about how non-neutral this one was. This is also not a neutral vote. -1

Jackpot the Gambler

Smash's Vote: alright here we go. Heads, +1. Tails, -1. Let's do it.

Smash coin-flip

Smash coin-catch

Smash thumbs up +1

Elly's Vote: *Her coin is between her lips, she caught it like a dog would.* ".. What?" +1

Ivan the Machamp

Smash's Vote: I think i'm gonna stay neutral here. Again.

Elly's Vote: I went on a bit of a rant as to how all of the moves this guy has makes him EXTREMELY overpowered. I'm probably the biggest Pokémon fan on the site, but this concept of mobianized Pokémon that have no limit to the moves they can do is unappealing.

Elly the Dragon

Smash's Comment: rip in pizza sauce. she couldn't wait any longer to get updated.

Elly's Comment: There was stuff I had to get out before going on my trip! Sorry Elly, you'll get your chance another day.

"I forgive you! It's just one less potential medal to have.." *hiding back a sniffle*

Hectic The Cyberhog

Smash's Vote: Putting aside all my nitpicks about his story and unbalanced prowess, how the crap did this guy get in Best NEUTRAL? -1

Elly's Vote: Well, there's a lot that's already been said about this character's flaws, b-

"Hey, isn't that MY weapon? A-am I being knocked off? I guess it's nice that someone likes me that much, but.. Meteor-ana? .. No."

-1

Luella the Mouse

Smash's Vote: Yeah I dunno about this character. I'm getting too many mixed readings here to come to a solid decision. Neutral.

Elly's Vote: I feel about the same. I see a lot of everyday villain qualities in this character as well, even if it doesn't go all the way into that territory.

Tessa Huntress The Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: ...She's a'ight. She's got one of the shorter pages around here, and nothing really stands out to me, but she's not bad. +1

Elly's Vote: As a character, this one works well enough at least. It's not boring, for what it is. +1

Jasmine the Bat

Smash's Vote: Well she certainly fits the bill for a neutral character. I could give her a +1.

Elly's vote: While not a huge fan of the design choices here, her character is definitely neutral to a T. +1

Quinn the Cat

Smash's Vote: Welcome back, Quinn. This girl almost won the two categories she was in last time, buut she was held back by some balance issues. With those taken care of, I felt like she deserved a second chance, so I nominated her personally. +1

Elly's Vote: Heh, I also have some issues with the design here. But it's nice that this character got improved on! And at this point it's a pretty nice neutral. +1

Tharraleos Polemistis

Smash's Vote: Well he is a neutral character to be sure, but this guy...really doesn't have anything to do with the sonic fanon, does he? Like, he stands out more than anything else I've seen on this wiki that wasn't a joke of some sort. Like, he's not bad or anything but what is he doing here? He doesn't belong. I'm gonna stay neutral.

Elly's Vote: Neutral: Y-yeah.. I make a point to also judge based on how much a character would fit in the Sonic universe. This guy does not.

Best Villain[]

General Serges

Smash's Vote: This man stands out from the crowd, in a good way. We don't see a whole lot of honorable villains these days. +1

Elly's Vote: Mhm! It's very nice to see more of this kind of thing. +1

Buer, the Black Wheel of Decay

Smash's Vote: Ehhh...Light and Darkness cliche aside, I feel like there is a lot of context missing from this page 'cause a lot of this went right over my head. Doesn't help that I try not to delve into the matter of physical gods and deities. Staying neutral.

Elly's Vote: This kind of gets into that weird non-Sonicy territory for me. The whole light is good/life and darkness is bad/death thing isn't exactly the most original concept either. I'm also staying neutral.

Xahlia Vhan

Smash's Vote: This kinda suffers the same problem as Tharraleos above. On that note, all of Scorpio's things are breaking away from the Sonic Fanon. That aside, I don't really have much of a decisive opinion on her. I'm going to stay neutral again.

Elly's Vote: You may see a trend here. It's getting into the realm of notsonic, which is probably the intent. But this is a Sonic Fanon Wiki!

Nostradamus The Tenrec

Smash's Vote: Hm, well, this guy's kinda interesting. He's not bad, but there's kind of a lotta silly things here and there that make him a tad difficult to take seriously. (i.e infinite mass attack, inhaling a lethal dose of toxic dust and not showing any signs of coming anywhere near death, being inspired by Donald Trump of all people, etc.) But he's got a mostly believable background, his powers are fairly balanced out by his weaknesses, he plays his villain role right, and he's got a pretty solid design to boot. I think that's enough to give a +1. Ya might wanna give him a once over later.

Elly's Vote: On the other hand, I'm neutral because I feel the silliness present is a tad much. Balance isn't what's in question here as this isn't Strongest Character, but it's still a bit weird. But not by that much! A once over would likely be enough.

Fei the Pigeon

Smash: My first thought was how amusing it was that a small and dainty bird such as a pigeon was here as a villain. As I read on I realized Chames pretty much lampshaded this in that a lot of people underestimate him and wonder how he ever came into power. Bonus points for that, lol. That aside, he's pretty interesting overall so +1.

Elly's Vote: Yeah, this is one of Chames' good villains! Interesting motives and skills. Seems inspired and nice overall. +1

Avarice The Hedgehog:

Smash's Comment: One of my personal favorites in my cast of villains. He's got his face on the front page, but he keeps coming up second in the awards. Ironic, ain't it?

Elly's Vote: "He's right next to me on there, and we have that same problem. Huh!"

Avarice is also one of my favorites here. I've said plenty about him in past awards, but to sum it all up, I like his role as the leader of his siblings, and how he's one that uses dirty tricks and connections to get things done. +1

Darkyle The Hedgehog:

Smash's Comment: Silly name aside, this man is not to be underestimated. He's really my only supervillain, ever. I didn't have time to write out his revised backstory. His powers as they stand now are pretty crazy too, but in regards to both I've actually come up with some neat ideas. Unfortunately, I can't really talk about them here because they'll be revealing some pretty big spoilers. I just wish I'd realized I was already unintentionally balancing his powers while brainstorming some scenes with him.

Elly's Vote: ... And I'm kind of put at an impasse here because whatever Smash is doing isn't evident in the page yet. As such, I'm gonna be voting neutral this time. Sorry about that!

Best Character[]

Best Male[]

Trick the Maltese Tiger

Smash's Vote: Speedy Annoyed "really"
...On one hand, this feels like a joke character, on the other hand, I have a feeling that it's not supposed to be. I dunno, I can't take this guy seriously. There's more than one problem here that I'm not really willing to go all the way into. But 4th wall breaking powers, memes, and the ridiculous trait of potentially going insane if ignored by close friends is just the basic gist of why I'm not fond of this guy. -1

Elly's Vote: ... Yeah, no. This is plain dumb. Definitely a joke character in my book, too. Everything Smash mentions also resonates poorly with me. -1

Hectic The Cyberhog

Smash's Vote: Yeah, so uh.. Remember I mentioned nitpicks about his inconsistent story and unbalanced powers? I'm gonna say right now that I'm not really a big fan of this guy. -1

Elly's Vote: "Did you get your money back for that weapon yet?" -1

Amasai Perilloux the Coyote

Smash's Vote: Appears to be very heavily inspired by Fullmetal Alchemist. Dunno, man. I like FMA, and this is mostly well written, but I'm not really feeling much for this guy. I'm gonna be neutral.

Elly's Vote: I was the one who pointed that out to Smash, and I feel similarly, aheh. It almost reads like a crossover, really.

Tye The Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: I don't know if it's just me but this page feels like a mess right now. It doesn't help that the history section is out of order. I dunno, the different timelines and splitting things up between the three just make me feel a bit overwhelmed. Adding on to the fact that I'm not really that fond of his weaponry and powers, the only thing I can say for certain that I'm okay with is his design. Everything else just feels cluttered. -1

Elly's Vote: It's a little less awful now at least, so I'm actually gonna vote neutral. An effort is being made here, just.. Maybe instead of building up on the page's old iterations, a rewrite is needed?

Maxwell the Fox

Smash's Vote: Well here's a sight for sore eyes. Maxwell's a cool kid. Though to be honest, I've always been a little bit iffy on his super speed, but that's probably just me. I'll still give him a +1.

Elly's Vote: Super speed is shaky, but as a character Maxwell is pretty good! At least his super speed fits in with the absurd nature of that universe, aheh. +1

Ali Atash the Caracal

Smash's Vote: Hmm...I don't really have any beef with this guy. He's alright, nice enough, but the lack of an engaging story or anything makes his character feel somewhat...well, lacking, for lack of a better word. He's going in the right direction, but I feel some more development is probably in order before I feel comfortable giving him a +1. Staying neutral for now.

Elly's Vote: Most of what I've heard about this character has been absurd silliness on chats, though I don't think he's ever been played at all. Besides some of that stuff, it's just kind of not developed enough, nor does it have a real hook to me yet.

Gizmo The Cat:

Smash's Comment: Like Darkyle above, I didn't have time to finish revising his backstory. It's not actually as outdated as I thought, but there's still a few things missing from it.

Elly's Vote: But unlike Darkyle, what's there for Gizmo right now is pretty good! It is a bit of a trope to have an inventor character in a Sonic fan-thing I suppose, but Gizmo has always been rather charming to me. There's more to his character than being a sidekick or an inventor, as we look at his relationship with his chao friend and other stuff. The only thing I could say against him is some of the inventions are a little egregious, but even then the biggest offenders are in non-canon for the series territory. +1

Marco the Grison

Smash's Vote: To be fair, the whole "pacifist cursed with a murderous alter-ego", ala Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, is pretty cliche. But regardless, I'm still gonna give him a +1 because I like Marco.

Elly's Vote: Fortunately, there's a bunch more there than just that gimmick. I feel like alter egos can be done right, and though it's hard to say here it's not enough to detract from the good things. +1

Best Female[]

Willow Infiern

Smash's Vote: Willow's okay. I mean, aside from the whole "not sonic in sonic fanon awards" thing, she's a decent character. I mean I gotta be honest, I don't feel comfortable with non-sonic fanon content in the SFW awards. I really don't. As far as feedback goes, I don't really have any advice to give. She's fine, but she doesn't really belong. I'm going to be neutral yet again.

Elly's Vote: I'll be a little fair and say that the line is starting to blur a little. In more recent times, SEGA has been giving us some weird additions like Wisps and the Deadly Six, and you could argue those provide enough leeway for some non-sonic like things. I don't feel that way, though.

Alexis Petals

Smash's Vote: Good points: I like her design, her nature power, and she seems like a fairly decent character all around. Bad Points: Not sure I like stacking flight on top of her nature and ice powers. Her being a pop artist is all well and good, but being part of a group of 8 heroes who fight crime and save the city from destruction honestly feels tacked on without much context available on the page--even if it is an alternate series. But then again without that, the main story is something that I'm hoooonestly not too interested in, no offense intended. I'm staying neutral overall.

Elly's Vote: Yeah, a lot of this is pretty crazy. It's very.. Fantastical, as is the whole world that she's in. Balance is definitely shaky here, though this isn't Strongest Character. I think the whole superpower star thing will keep us iffy. Neutral here as well.

Reens the Hedgehog

Smash's Comment: Apparently she didn't see my review some time back until I had to link it directly to her when she asked for help. Now Reens has dropped out to try and improve. Good luck, I say.

Elly's Comment: Yeah, I hope it all goes well!

Crystal The Fox:

Smash's Comment: Crystal wasn't as outdated as I feared either, but there were still a lot of old things still hanging around her page that needed to be cleaned out.

Elly's Vote: Yeah, she still has good stuff there kinda like with Gizmo. I should point out how silly it is to me that she's a Crystal the Fox with a chao named Krysi. Krystal, eat your heart out! But yeah, she's a sweetheart. +1

Sandy The Echidna:

Smash's Comment: Honestly I feel that there's more that needs to be put on this page, but I need to develop my series some more before I can delve into that.

Elly's Vote: But the backstory there is so adorable to me! We need to see a little more of her, but it's a situation that rings a lot with me as I'm also an adoptee. +1

Knockout the Wolf:

Smash's Vote: I really don't need to explain why I'm voting her up. She's a good character and she's probably the one character of Mantis' that I like best. +1

Elly's Vote: She's also gonna be in a Roleplay with Elly at some point, aheh. A very solid character overall, very little going against her! +1

Frida Tsuntiago

Smash's Vote: I'm actually more inclined to give Frida a +1, despite my earlier comments of Scorpio's (and by extention, Twi's) characters being out of place in SFW. I've always found her to be the more endearing of his cast, and her current design is nicer than the others as well. I don't really like the idea of a non-sonic character winning the SFW awards but I'm going to spare her a +1 this time.

Elly's Vote: I'm still going to be neutral here. Guess I didn't have the same exposure to the character over time that Smash did!

Best Character Design[]

Male[]

Smash The Echidna

Elly's Vote: "Blue is a nice color, isn't it?"

Handsome man would ship/10? +1

Smash's Comment: :V

Hiero the Hawk

Smash's Vote: too red imean Hiero's cool. +1

Elly's Vote: The one weird thing about this is how he's a hawk that has hair. That's not a thing last time I che- www.exposureguide.com/media/2013/08/coiffurelebird6.jpg

+1

Clockwork the Caracal

Smash's Vote: Only thing to go by is his singular picture, but man that design is pretty complex. Loses some points for lack of color, but not enough to keep him from a +1.

Elly's Vote: Looks really cool! Though I know some people have a hard time discerning the gender at first glance, it's still a great design. +1

Nostradamus The Tenrec

Smash's Vote: Like I mentioned above, he's got a pretty solid design. +1

Elly's Vote: I'm not a fan of some of the coloring decisions, personally. Still pretty solid, but I think the suit irks me a little bit on him.

Tye The Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: I don't have any problems with it. He's got a pretty okay design. +1

Elly's Vote: He looks like an edgier version of Speedy, aheh. Neither are particularly special designs, really.

Maxwell the Fox

Smash's Vote: Setting aside those sleazy casanova-like pictures, Maxwell has always been pretty endearing. +1

Elly's Vote: Those what? Maxwell looks fine but I guess I didn't take a close enough look at whatever Smash is talking about.. +1

Blitz the Wolf

Smash's Vote: +1 Love this guy's design, but I could swear he won Handsome Male already.

Gizmo Paper "Yep. This guy won Most Handsome Male back in 2014.
Come to think of it, didn't we like, say we weren't going to include the winners of that category in Best Design?"

Splice shrug "That'd mean you're out, Smash."

Smash really "no complaints here."

Elly's Vote: Yeaaah, it's a little weird to think about someone having both awards on their page. Would still give Blitz a vote, though! +1

Krieg the Hollow Blitz

Smash's Vote: Wait a minute. Dangit Blitz, you can't nominate yourself TWICE I mean come on now you're bending the rules--Ohwait, that's just his evil twin. Never mind. +1

Elly's Vote: Aheh. Blitz's evil twin also has a design that looks fine, so it's all good. +1

Borealis the Malamute

Smash's Vote: Oh, I don't even recognize this character. I like his design though. +1

Elly's Vote: +1 What an ice design, lol. I have a fondness for icy blue, and this is no exception! +1

Female[]

Willow Infiern

Smash's Vote: It's okay.

Elly's Vote: It's an okay design but it's not a Sonic style one!

Cinnamon the Lynx

Smash's Vote: Not a bad design, but I'm gonna stay neutral for now. A major factor in my decision is the fact that she is, in fact, buck naked. I don't get very good vibes from that comment about her chest after taking that fact into consideration, either.

Elly's Vote: I'll give her a +1 because all she really needs to do is put on some clothes. Sally Acorn was kinda naked for a while too, but even she eventually got clothed up!

Christina the HedgeCat

Smash's Vote: I think she's alright. Her surplus of outfits do help keep up the variety, too. That always nets bonus points from me. +1

Elly's Vote: Neutral. I'm not a fan of hedgecats, and this one doesn't even look like a hedgehog or a cat!

Checkers the Husky

Smash's Vote: Actually kinda cute. +1

Elly's Vote: -80000000 for scythe She's pretty adorbs, aheh. +1

Edge the Fox

Smash's Vote: Edgy--*shot*
Her design is pretty cool and somewhat unique around these parts. +1

Elly's Vote: Yeah. Honestly, the color of her fur and the metal work well together, and it's a nice fox design as well! +1

Frida Tsuntiago

Smash's Vote: One of Scorpio's better designs, IMO. +1

Elly's Vote: Waluigi Hates This I dunno, the design kind of makes me think of the Jolly Green Giant's daughter. I'm neutral.

Tessa Huntress The Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: Once Elly told me the cutouts in her shirt looked like a power outlet, i could never unsee.
still a good design but you might wanna cover that up before someone tries to plug some appliance into her. +1

Elly's Vote: It's nice, for being a sister double to Tesla. Smash covered one of the odd things though. +1

Nalia The Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: She looks nice but she doesn't really look much like a hedgehog. I could spare a +1 despite my nitpicks.

Elly's Vote: Pretty, but
what even are spines?
it's worthy of a +1 but please give your danged hedgehog characters spines! They aren't supposed to have just hair!

Elly the Dragon

Smash's Vote: Of course. +1

Elly's Vote: "Of course?" Don't you "of course" me

Twitch the Cat

Smash's Vote: She's alright, for the most part, but I must say that main picture is very hard on the eyes. The thin outlines on that shade of green make it near impossible to make out a good majority of her facial features, and as such I did not know what I was staring at when I opened the page. It honestly looked like a literal sanic face.
Her appearance section doesn't have much going for it either, and all the other pictures in the gallery conflict with each other. I'm going to have to stay neutral on this one.

Elly's Vote: There are literally four different designs on this page. This +1 is for Haunted's take on her. which might be cheating

Strongest Character[]

Smash's Edit: Alright so, due to some recent inquiries, I'd like to explain how I judge this category. Strongest Character is a bit of a tricky thing to do fairly, I feel. But I look at the character and evaluate their powers and abilities, how good they are in combat, and see how it adds up. There are two lines I draw for a character. Too strong, and Too weak. As far as being too strong goes, I try to follow my personal guidelines (granted, the blog is a bit dated,) in keeping a character's power somewhere under the canon characters (ala super strength, speed, etc.) unless there is some alternative reason for me to think that they are OP. On the flipside, I'll also give a -1 if I find that the character is too ineffectual to really be considered the "strongest". Tye The Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: Like I said before, I'm really not a fan of the combination of his powers and weaponry. He's got not only ridiculous strength and super speed, but three elemental powers alongside it. Why would he ever need a weapon? (His cluttered page isn't very fun to read over either.) and speaking of his weapon, it's literally soul edge. yeah. That's a no-go for me. -1

Elly's Vote: Yeah, given all the series clutter, changes, and how cliched/unbelievable some of the stuff is, I think this merits a -1.

Proto the Robot

Smash's Vote: For something with supposedly advanced technology in the Strongest Character category, this thing is incredibly underwhelming. I mean he's got a list of powers, okay cool, but very little of that gives me any sort of "powerful" vibes. (Tractor Beam, Blast, and Electricity Absorption.) We aren't really told what he's good at, what he's bad at, how he fights or anything of the sort. Not even his super or hyper forms explain what benefits he gets. They're just..there. And they're underused 'cause he doesn't know much about the chaos emeralds. Yeeaah...I don't think this guy makes the cut, here. -1

Elly's Vote: It's just a bit ehh. Some of these powers would be a little broken if you think about them (I have the same problem with the tractor as I do with telekinetics) but they're otherwise just kind of bland. Inoffensively so, though. Neutral.

Blitz the Wolf

Smash's Vote: Well there are some pretty questionable things here, such as regaining his darkness trigger form by complete accident, and now being able to conjure his sword whenever he so pleases as a power, and being able to survive getting impaled with his own weapon. Is that plot armor I'm detecting? Powers as the plot demands (return)?
Setting that aside, he's pretty good all around. He's got a lot of info on it, and a lot of different weapons that change up his fighting style quite a bit. I'll give em a +1.

Elly's Vote: The thing I like about Blitz's powers is that they revolve around the beat em up setting he's made. He gains powers by beating up the bad guys, and it's pretty clear that Mantis wants to invoke the whole action game kind of thing here. And it's cool! Smash mentioned some of the irks I have, but overall it's a very fun thing to do. +1

Ramonna the Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: Lemme just say this now, since she wasn't in Best Design. Picture this: you find and watch a genuinely good anime that's interesting and unique. Stuff like that's hard to come by. Season 2 rolls around, and all the plot has been forfeited in favor of fan-service. That is the best way to describe how I feel about Ramonna's transition from her super heroine design to her current one.

But that's beside the point. I feel her super strength is incredibly exaggerated, to the point where she's borderline OP. But on top of that, being able to accurately throw a small rock into the barrel of a helicopter's machine gun to disable it makes her powers more than just a feat of strength. I've noticed that a lot of Chames' characters have exaggerated abilities, but Ramonna here is particularly bad about it, to be honest. Honestly I don't know why she changed to generic fan-servicey super strength, either. I mean come on; she had a cool outfit with a cape! She fought by throwing marbles at her enemies! That was cool! I know I'm nitpicking again but I have to emphasize that she legitimately used to be one of my favorite characters on the wiki.

  • Sigh* I'm staying neutral.

Elly's Vote: I wasn't around to see the incarnation of Rammona that Smash is talking about, but there's a lot of things I don't like here, not the least of which being the super strength. On its own it's pretty generic, but the feat that Smash mentioned about how she has the accuracy and precision to take out specifically the weapon of an aircraft with a rock thrown from quite a distance just gets into worse territory for me. Most of my other problems with her are about how she basically became a fanservice character.. We'll get to that in a later vote. I'm neutral here.

Xavek the Techno-Organic

Smash's Vote: Well, he's not quite as stacked on powers as other characters in this category, but...hm, I really don't know about this dude. There are some things that kinda turn me off in his descriptions, such as being about as buff as a U.S. army tank, etc. I'm just gonna be neutral.

Elly's Vote: Imagine a U.S. Army tank but smaller, with a sword for some reason. Imagine Zero from Mega Man X being slow but as defensive as a tank.
He's also 6 foot 4 which is in the realm of not mobian at all. So yeah, neutral.

Brunhilde the Orca

Smash's Vote: All this Pokémon in my Sonic is triggering me. I'm sure she can be just as good without them. Base stats are also all high, but I try not to use those myself. Still, I'm staying neutral.

Elly's Vote: Yeaaah, seeing the Pokémon moves and the Fakémon moves is a little silly. Besides that, it also seems like her stats are all rather high, nothing being below average and most things being superb. I'm neutral.

Arna the Tasmanian Devil

Smash's Vote: Well she appears to be somewhat formiddable, but I feel her weaknesses make her a whole lot less threatening. Her magas are literally a super power roulette, which is not really reliable. Getting rid of them entirely puters her at a disadvantage. She's got a specific weak spot on her body, and she's implied to be easily provoked--which makes her much easier to deal with for the skilled/strategic fighter. Oh and she's also weak to holy.
Yeah, I think she's a little too hindered to compete here. -1

Elly's Vote: I don't like the concept. It doesn't seem related to Sonic at all, but I guess that's kind of besides the point here. Or is it? It's just kind of weird here.

Best Mechanic[]

Trip the Mouse

Smash's Vote: Oh. It's this guy again. I do remember this character from before, the one who roboticized himself and others. To be honest I'm not sure where I stand with this guy. On one note, I'm pretty sure he's not a Sonic character, but on another note roboticization was a thing in Sonic, so it's not that outlandish compared to Scorpio's other characters. But then again, turning himself and others into cyborgs is about the only thing he's known for. On one hand, that's an incredible feat, but on the other, I kinda look for a little bit of variety in achievements.

Yeah, I'm a little indecisive here, so I'm just gonna settle for neutral.

Elly's Vote: I have to say it again, don't I? If it isn't Sonic fanon, it's gonna get a neutral or a minus one. I'm neutral here, too.

Derek Gate

Smash's Vote: I'm like, this close to a +1 but I feel like there's not quite enough info on his abilities as a mechanic, or the details of his work. I'm going to stay neutral.

Elly's Vote: I think there's enough here personally. This is a major character that as far as I know created the Cybermals, yes? Seems accomplished enough for me. +1

Ethelia The Hedgehog

Smash's Comment: I really like how Ethelia's character has grown. She's one of my more dynamic characters, especially villains.

Elly's Vote: Ethelia has always been really cool to me. Might be my favorite of the sibling trio, really. Not a lot of focus is on her mechanics, but I think she's the best character who is a mechanic in this section. +1

Quinn the Cat:

Smash's Vote: She's gotten the improvements that kept me from voting for her in the final round last time. She's gonna win this time. +1

Elly's Vote: Just like what we said in the previous section, she's improved and now worthy of a +1!

Best Speaker[]

  1. Io the Cat: "Everything and everyone here is connected, to everything and everyone else. You see? If you change someone else's life just a tiny bit, and they change someone else's life just a tiny bit because of it, that effect repeats itself, spreading across time and space in ways no one can truly comprehend."

Smash's Vote: You have to wonder the context of some of these quotes. What kind of conversation would lead to this philosophical speech? +0

Elly's Vote: I can only imagine them talking inspirationally to a group of people.

  1. Diablo the Pyro: "...because even though he's a goody two-shoes, he's my bro. You don't ever give up on your bros, ever."

Smash's Vote: We see a variation of this quote every other season. :T Neutral

Elly's Vote: Yeaaaaah.

  1. Revenant the Coyote "You say my actions are wrong, and that I should disobey any further orders. But tell me this: When you listen to the authority, do you do as told because you know it's right, or because it's the authority?"

Smash's Vote: I think I like this one. +1

Elly's Vote: I'm neutral because I'm SURE I've heard this quote somewhere in a book or something.. I guess it's silly to say because I can't remember it on the top of my head, but.. Yeah.

  1. Rikai the Hedgehog "Are you scared? Please, do tell... It's been so long since I felt such mundane emotions. No matter how much I crush, no matter how much I destroy, I just can't remember them... Please, do tell... What do terror and fear feel like? Will I remember them if I destroy you? Will I finally remember... what fear truly feels like?"

Smash's Vote: the cheese is way too over the top for me to handle. -0

Elly's Vote: This is cheesy narm incarnate, and this is going to affect another vote coming up... +0

Best Location[]

Hordaiquan

Smash's Vote: My first and main complaint is how long it takes to tell you where--or what this place even is. First thing we get is a short paragraph about ecology, then we hear about the climate, and then we have..the history. Oy, when you completely skip out on the introduction paragraph, you leave us readers completely confused. I still don't have any clue where this city is. That aside, a lot of work seems to have gone into it, and it seems to be the main setting of a series. It's not too bad. I could spare a +1.

Elly's Vote: I dunno? It seems a little bit on the weird side to me. It reminds me of the entire setting of Sonic Underground, and that's not perfect, aheh. I'm neutral.

Lambda Sector

Smash's Vote: um...okay so, at first i was confused into thinking that this was a canon area, thanks to the fact that I never finished Sonic Chronicles. Then I realize the page is incredibly short, too short for me to give a +1. Then I did a triple take when I saw GLaDOS in there and I immediately realized this is a Portal thing. Yeaaaaaah no. -1

Elly's Vote: DON'T. -1

Lantern Dust Desert

Smash's Vote: Hasn't changed much since last season. My vote'll stay the same. +1

Elly's Vote: I think I'm neutral here, mainly because the idea of the sentient cactus people is just a little bit too odd for me. Why are there sentient cactus people? Aheh, it's just a bit strange to me. Other than that quirk it's still plenty good, though!

Cinnabar Forest

Smash's Vote: Hm, well, it's not too bad. It sounds like a nice place to visit, but hearing of those rogue factions would make anyone reconsider wandering around there. Still, I'mma give it a +1.

Elly's Vote: It's a nice place, even if it might be a nudist colony, aheh. +1

The Dark Dimension

Smash's Vote: Same as last time: it's well written and I'm voting it up. +1

Elly's Vote: There's some well written stuff here, but as a location I'm not too fond of it as its kind of like a less interesting Moebius, though it's supposed to be more like hell than anything. That name isn't winning any awards, aheh. Still a decent setting for the beating em upping. Neutral.

The Blitz Pit:

Smash's Comment: I'd totally post screenshots of this place in SpTH, but it's nowhere near complete. apparently i'm a dumb and didn't realize this had already won this category a couple years ago.

Elly's Comment: ... Whelp.

Best Leader[]

Winter "Icy" the Cat

Smash's Vote: How can you be up here in Best Leader when all the required fields are empty? You can't just make a few mentions of her being a leader and expect that to get you anywhere! -1

Elly's Vote: Yeah, what exactly makes this a leader page? She's a queen, I guess.. And an assassin? And she lives in Station Square now and not wherever she's supposed to be queen of? Yeah, no. -1

Midnight Ender

Smash's Comment: Apparently this page is no more. It's been disqualified as such.

Elly's Comment: This is the character of the person that threw a fit over your sprites. It's a shame, really. Dimitri Prinus the Echidna

Smash's Vote: Hmm. Now that I'm actually looking over his page, I'm noticing some interesting similarities to Smash, here. A strong echidna who constantly trains to better himself, is the leader of a group (although more formally than Smash) tries to shoulder certain problems alone after losing comrades, and that Mystic Transformation seems to be a bit similar to High Tension. I'm not quite sure how he activates it, but the weaknesses being the small amount of time in said form and being exhausted of his stamina are not unlike High Tension's affects. Inspiration, much? lol.

That aside, he seems to have the qualities to be a good leader, but there aren't any immediate examples on his page. Still, I can give him the benefit of the doubt in this case. +1

Elly's Vote: I think a certain someone looks up to Smash more than they would like to admit~

But yeah, Dimitri seemingly has the right traits for a good leader. There's a couple of examples within the fanfictions he is in, and they're convincing enough for it.

Jessie Garnet The Fox:

Smash's Comment: I'm seriously shocked that she was nominated. I didn't even realize people remembered her I was not ready for this, but I left her alone so I could see what kind of feedback I could get on her.

Elly's Vote: Well.. She kind of reminds me of the leader of the Chaotix, Vector, where the main trait is boisterousness. We don't really see a lot about if she's effective as the glue for the team, or if there's any good guidance going on. I'm neutral.

Machaero the Swordfish

Smash's Vote: Not nearly enough info for me. -1

Elly's Vote: It's not too bad of a page, but.. Yeah. I'm neutral. There's not a lot there for his leadership.

Vrai the Fox

Smash's Vote: uhhhhhhhh.....Honestly, I don't know how I feel about this guy. An insane cultist leader that somehow, inexplicably developed supernatural powers...and brainwashes people into his command...I mean of course it's easy to lead people after you've brainwashed them, right?
Yeah, I dunno. I've got mixed reads on this dude, and I think the safest option would be to stay neutral.

Elly's Vote: That was my reasoning, above. It's sort of cheating to say you're a good leader if you use brainwashing tactics, innit? I'm neutral as well.

Best Item[]

Ryuseki

Smash's Vote: Honestly this is more of a collector's item than a weapon. So what if it doesn't cut? It's a work of art! +1

Elly's Comment: Yup, that's what it's all about for now! It's ornamental, fitting for Elly's love of treasure.

Bloody Rebel

Smash's Vote: This barely didn't win Best Weapon before. I have a feeling it might win Item this time. +1

Elly's Vote: It really is just a cool, storied weapon, aheh. I've given this +1 in the past I'm sure, and I'll do it again!

Guard Gauntlets

Smash's Comment: Pretty simple in concept, but extremely handy. Might need to make some adjustments to the design though, but I hadn't finalized it anyway so it's all good.

Elly's Vote: Yeah, I like these although design wise I think there should be some thought going into how it's meant to stop bladed weapons and such. Is it made to catch them or punch them aside? Also the upgraded version might need some better science explanation or something, aheh. +1

Spark Shard Sai

Smash's Vote: I guess this is what you'd call "Awesome but Impractical", huh? +1

Elly's Vote: It's like the Ryuseki in being ornamental, but I think the material here is a bit generic. Regardless, I think I can toss it a +1.

Elly's Shinai

Smash's Vote: To be honest there isn't a whole lot going for it. I mean, it's a nice simple weapon, but that's about it. I feel like there could be more depth added to it, like the weapon's history (where she got it/who she got it from, etc.) But then again there really isn't a whole lot else you CAN add to this. I dunno, I think I'm gonna stay neutral this time.

Elly's Comment: "This shinai master gave me still needs to go through more battles.."

It's a bit true that there's not a lot to it on paper right now, so Smash's neutral vote is understandable. I think it might be better once it's a bit more storied. It is her main weapon and as such will have quite a few feats on its hilt by the end of things!

The Hell Prizm

Smash's Vote: One of the few evil artifacts I can think of on SFW. This drove a lot of the plot in Darkness Trigger, and not in a bad way. +1

Elly's Vote: The plot in Darkness Trigger is pretty good, but this item is just a little bit MacGuffinesque for my tastes. I'm more neutral on this one.

Best Group[]

The 15 Break

Smash's Vote: ....Neutral, 'cause I honestly don't even know what the heck. I've never heard of any of these characters, they have pretty short bios each, so I really feel like I still don't know who these people even are. And last but not least, what the heck do these people even do? I mean they serve whoever holds this artifact thing but...i don't really know much about that either. There's a severe lack of context.

Elly's Vote: It just makes no sense at all, aheh. Is this some kind of weird setup for a TF2 kind of thing or something? I'm neutral.

The Nazar

Smash's Vote: Ah, the Nazar. Figures they'd have shown up, what with their home city up above. Now you see with this, this tells you up front in the first paragraph just who and what these people are, and what they do. Complaints aside, I'm liking this. Getting some Black Rose vibes from it, too. +1

Elly's Vote: Yup, this is a good group page. Has group regulations, group interactivity, history and such while all making sense. I like it! +1

The Dragonfly Diner

Smash's Vote: ...I'm pretty sure this is exploiting some loophole or something. This is something I'd expect to see in Best Location, but technically a business can be filed under group??? I dunno, but the fact that it doesn't really go into the details of being a group or anything other than policies and the menu really bugs me. Neutral.

Elly's Vote: If we're supposed to judge this based on the workers, we hear nothing about the group dynamics at all. Neutral here.

The Forsaken

Smash's Vote: I think I've heard of these guys once before, years ago maybe. But I didn't know what they were. Now that I look, I'm all kinds of confused by the fact that mobian elves are apparently a thing. And they went to war with mobian vampires. I don't...think I'm fond of the idea of vampires in my sonic, to be perfectly honest. A lot of work has gone into this, but I'm feeling neutral here.

Elly's Vote: This is.. Technically kind of Sonic but also oh so very not Sonic at all. I don't think it's Sonic. Notsonic? Notsonic. Neutral.

Inferno Strikers

Smash's Vote: I mean yeah you're cool and all, but I still stand by my point from last time. Two members is not enough to qualify for Best Group. It should be three or more. I'm sorry but -1 again.

Elly's Vote: Maybe when Best Tag Team is a thing, aheh. I'm just neutral here, it seems interesting enough but it's a Team, not a Group.

EQuartz Industries

Smash's Vote: I'm feeling a little conflicted right now, since part of me says that this doesn't belong here in sonic fanon awards, but at the same time it's an interesting thing. I think I'll just go ahead and +1 it.

Elly's Vote: It really doesn't belong, regardless of the interesting setup. It's not terrible but I'm sticking to my guns here.

Best Fan Project[]

Darkness Trigger: Surge of Shadows

Smash's Vote: The one thing that bothers me about these fan-games is the fake reception and reviews. You and I both know that this game is not actually playable; why make up the reviews and IGN ratings and whatnot? It'd be fine with just the game concept. Speaking of which, the game concept is pretty cool. +1

Elly's Vote: smash the echidna Mugen kof clone when It is pretty silly to see the reception stuff, but this sounds really fun! "I wonder if it'd be good training.." +1

Blue Blur

Smash's Vote: So...you're trying to take ALL of Sonic's continuity and piece them together into one long alternate storyline? That's deep, man. And also pretty hard to do right, methinks. So far it looks like you're doing a fair job on it, so I'll give you a +1. ALTHOUGH I am confused by the category placement. This won a runner-up for Best Fanfiction last summer, but it's in Best Fan Project? It also says that it's an upcoming cinematic, but...is that valid? I dunno, I didn't see anything else that implied such.

Elly's Vote: This is kind of hard for me to judge, really. It uses the main characters so there's no real issues with any of the creations except that dark chao that's in there for some weird reason. Seems like there's some edgifying in there as well. I think I'm neutral because it doesn't really say much about the ability of the writer to make original concepts, as it uses the stories already present.

Sonic Heroes: Counterparts

Smash's Vote: Hm, iunno. I'm not super big on the original Sonic Heroes, so I'm not as interested in this as I could be. But it is a little interesting. I think I'm going to stay neutral this time, however.

Elly's Vote: Did you not like Team Rose or Team Chaotix or somethin? This seems like the plot of Heroes but kinda edgier, I dunno. I'm neutral.

Sonic Boom: Thunderstruck

Smash's Vote: Well, the concepts of the gameplay sound a lot more interesting than Rise of Lyric, that's for sure. Story doesn't have a whole lot going for it right now, but so far it does seem like it's getting somewhere relatively interesting. I could spare a +1.

Elly's Vote: Funny enough, I think Boom's more actiony kind of style is right up Mantis' alley. Just as long as it's done right, I suppose. This gets a +1.

Best Fanfiction[]

The Heart's Bounty

Smash's Vote: ohmygodOHMYGOD I REMEMBER THAT PICTURE. Lol wow, this is the last place I'd have expected to see that again. I never actually looked at the fanfic before, but looking at it now I don't think I like it. Don't like Sonic Underground, not into Yaoi, and seeing fanfics written in script format slightly triggers me. I can excuse roleplays but Fanfics? no. Barring all that, I still just...don't like the way this is written. I'mma have to say no. -1

'Elly''s Vote: this category might be easier than I thought. -1

Dimitri Chronicles: Reign of Darkness

Smash's Vote: This stands out from the others as being an episodic fanfiction. I was a dumb and thought this belonged in Best Fan-Series even though I was the one who allowed it to be in this category in the first place. Anyway, there are some nitpicks and silly things I could complain about, but I don't wanna be redundant since Elly talks about the stuff down below. But I'll just say that I'm pretty torn between the cast as some characters I do like and some I just don't. Story-wise, it's all pretty interesting and well written for the most part, so I'm gonna be the one to give you a +1.

Elly's Vote: If there's anything that detracts from this fan series as a whole, it's that the villainous force is so narmy. Ramonna I don't like either, and this also kind of plays into how the whole thing can get very generically anime at times. It reminded me a whole lot of Sword Art Online, where you have a meh villainous force, a girl that gets boiled down to fanservice despite whatever power they may have, and a self-insert main character. Not that a self-insert is bad, and Maxwell + Dimitri are pretty good characters.
I'm really leaning towards Neutral. It's decently written from what I can gather, but some of the characters make the story unappealing to me. Villains are a little hard sometimes, I get that. Madame Weiss is a better villain of Chames', for example. But Rikai isn't interesting to me at all.

The Schoolgirl Saga

Smash's Vote: I took a peek at it and I've pretty much started on the -1 side of the scale. Points for being well written, but the overall plot and premise do not capture me. Yandere's are not my cup of tea, and even if I were to have one in my series I wouldn't have them be the main focus of a story. No thank you. -1

Elly's Vote: I took a look at the name and ive pretty much started on the -1 side of the scale. The comments I've made about the character extend to this fanfic as well. It's Literally the Everyandere. -1

Blitz and Edge: Clearing the Rust

Smash's Vote: Honestly, I didn't read a whole lot, but I'm going to give it a +1. I'm not just being biased because it's Mantis or anything, but I think I want to actually read the whole story later on because it's well written, interesting and it's gotten my attention. I might take notes from this for when I go about writing my own episodes. +1

Elly's Vote: ...This is charming. I'm entertained. I like these characters. There's some over the top but it's not too bad honestly. And I have no complaints for the ship because they've been through a lot together already. +1 Tales of Mobius:

Smash's Vote: No, it's not the newest game in the Tales Of series. Might as well be one with how long it is, though. *shot*
Anyway, I find it questionable that the actual content is on Fanfiction.net, while the page right here just links to it. As for the story itself, I'm leaning more towards neutral than a +1 to be perfectly honest. I mean the story is alright, but there are some things that kinda feel "eh" to me, such as the whole setup for "choosing heroes". It's kind of silly that Nikki and Starlight got chosen and didn't even have to participate in the volunteer test the others did, too. But overall I feel that the pacing is a wee bit too slow for my tastes. It really takes about 5 chapters to get to the actual action and deep story progression. That wouldn't be too much of a problem if there weren't only 9 chapters. (though to be fair it appears to be unfinished, but it's been almost a year so...) It just feels like it drags on a little for the first couple chapters.

Elly's Vote: I'm neutral on this one, too. I'm a little more accepting of mingling and such, but considering that there are only 9 chapters and it lasts for the bulk of them, it's a bit worrisome. The scenario is also a little weird, as I discussed with Smash.

Best Fan Series[]

Saviours of Mobius (series)

Smash's Vote: Sounds promising enough. +1

Elly's Vote: I'm somewhat iffier on this because it includes some of those sillier, edgy backstories we talked about when going through Best Hero. I'm neutral.

Nikki the Hedgehog: Adventures on Arcadia Island

Smash's Vote: It's kind of a light-hearted, comedic, close to home type of series. Nothing wrong with that. I like how it's laid out; I might do something similar for my own series. (To clarify, I'm talking about the templates and infoboxes.) Only thing is, I think it'd be better if Nikki had saved the pages where the plot summaries are for the actual story itself, and left the summaries on the page with the episode list. Because that's what you'd THINK it'd be like, but it's not. Maybe it's because it's supposed to be an animated series of some sort? Iunno. But nitpicks aside, it's not a bad series.

Oh right, and I nominated this, so +1.

EDIT: Okay somehow I completely overlooked Chrome the Skunk. Like, entirely. I didn't even know he existed and I've skimmed over this twice. Yeah. Chrome is kinda ehh and honestly feels shoehorned into what I feel is supposed to be an episodic slice of life type of series. He really doesn't need to be there. That's what I feel, at least.

Elly's Vote: +1, but with caution. It does its job as a slice of life, but I was the one that pointed out how Chrome the Skunk just seemed like a generic attacking force kind of like Eggman in the Boom cartoon but without as much charm.. Wow, I can't believe I typed that out lol.

Smash and Co.'s Roleplay series

Smash's Comment: Still no episodes up and ready for reading, but I hope you guys can get the general gist of how the story goes. There have actually been some groundbreaking updates since voting started that I haven't been able to implement. Go figure that it's only after voting starts that I think of these things. :V

Elly's Vote: Even without them, your summaries are filled with lots of information while being both interesting and succinct enough. This is the one series on here I like reading for fun, too. +1

Darkness Trigger (series)

Smash's Vote: A very big series played out like fan games. I don't know much about Devil May Cry, but I'd play this. +1

Elly's Vote: +1, Because he's definitely planned it all out in a fun manner. And it's in the context of being an awesome game!

Best Picture[]

<gallery> HecticReb.jpg|Hectic the Cyberhog

Smash's Vote: While it's well drawn, I'm not really sure I like the character design. The quill mohawk is kinda cool but the color scheme is very haphazard and I don't think I like it. Gonna stay neutral, though that is a sweet shade of blue.

Elly's Vote: It's doesn't really look like a.. cyberhog? I do actually like the unique quills, but I'm neutral here. LANTERNS!!!.jpeg|Lanterns

Smash's Vote: You know it took me a really long time to figure out just how I was supposed to look at this? At first glance I thought the person was kinda sitting at the ledge looking bored or depressed or something, facing away from the viewer. But no she's actually climbing up the ledge, facing away. I don't know why it looked like that, but I blame the fact that her arms do not look like arms there. It was very hard to see properly. Other than that, it's a decent picture but it could be better.

Elly's Vote: I.. Like, it's good art but it was really really hard to tell what was going on. I actually still haven't determined what's going on, really. Neutral. Willowbra.png|Willow Infiern

Smash's Vote: Neutral but...why though?

Elly's Vote: Cover your eyes, kids! Ryuseki1.png|The Ryuseki

Smash's Vote: "...This is a beautiful sword. I would expect the man who made it to show the same care and devotion in every aspect of his life."

Elly's Vote: "I wonder how he's doing now.." +1 Tundra concept colored.png|Tundra the Husky

Smash's Vote: Gonna be neutral. The proportions look really awkward to me.

Elly's Vote: Yeah, this looks incredibly weird. I'm neutral. Mary.jpg|Mary the Hedgehog

Smash's Vote: Not bad, but those legs look kinda weird. And her hands are backwards. Both of them.

Elly's Vote: That's kind of where I stand as well. Aheh. Edge for Sunstreaker.png|Edge the Fox

Smash's Vote: +1 definitely.

Elly's Vote: It's lovely! +1 Frida.png|Frida Tsuntiago

Smash's Vote: Sure. +1

Elly's Vote: Still looks like the Jolly Green Giant's daughter to me, aheh. Amy Rose HD.jpg|Amy talking to Sonic

Smash's Vote: Source film maker or blender, I don't remember which. A bit on the fence with this one, but I think I'll go for a +1

Elly's Vote: I'm neutral because I'd have to know if you made the models or not. Season 1 Cast Smaller.png|Smaller Cast of Smash and Co's Roleplay Series

Smash's Comment: It's a bit old, and some character designs have been slightly updated since I made this. In actuality it's incomplete because it's missing a character. Kapus NEEDS to get a design down for Lucy already.

Elly's Vote: It's an awesome group picture scene though! Designs need updating bit jar really cool. +1 Character Cards Set.png|Character Cards Set

Smash's Comment: Honestly I only put that "To Be Continued" thing there because Elly felt it looked somewhat empty without something else lingering in the pic. I was out of ideas and just threw that in. :V

Elly's Vote: It's a teaser, oooooo. I really like what he did with the cards. +1 Mr. J.png|Jared Infiern

Smash's Vote: Gonna be honest, I don't like this design as much as the previous one. Call me an old coot that doesn't like change all you want; I just liked the older version better. Neutral.

Elly's Vote: I really liked the old design too! Reminded me a lot of Nights.. I don't like the new design in comparison at all. Neutral. Ancient Mine of Eleyrah 19.png|Ancient Mine of Eleyrah

Smash's Comment: personally I love this place.

Elly's Vote: He made a really pretty area! +1 Willowsit.png|Willow Infiern (again)

Smash's Vote: Honestly this is pretty okay. +1
