Disclaimer: There are no skeletons in this roleplay.
The month of October is fast approaching, so that means we need a good horror roleplay to raise our 'spirits' [Murdered]. This roleplay takes inspiration from the recent game Until Dawn, in which the choices your characters make can affect the outcome in the end, ultimately deciding whether or not they make it out alive. Even the smallest choice can have a dramatic effect on your life expectancy.
Noteworthy Rules:
- All normal roleplay rules apply with the exception of Skull being the only one allowed to autohit/autokill (see rule four).
- The plot has already been figured out, but Skull will be keeping it under wraps aside from the setting: A Titanic-esque cruise ship.
- Although it isn't necessary, Skull recommends that you consider creating a new character for this roleplay. As characters will not have access to their powers or species-specific abilities and weapons are limited only to whatever Skull mentions in the story, you may have trouble keeping them in-character. Skull also wants people to avoid using a character that will act unrealistically to the story, such as being disproportionately calm in the face of danger. This can potentially take away from the horror experience.
- Skull will take the role of Game Master. He ultimately decides the consequences of the actions of each character, including whether or not they die (don't worry, he isn't going to go kill crazy and an explanation will be given when he does kill someone off). He will be using italics so that you can distinguish his posts from everyone else.
- Be sure to write in present-tense.
- You are allowed to make one post at a time and cannot make another one until Skull makes one. You can edit your post as much as you want until Skull edits, after which you can not make any further adjustments.
- You can only have one character. The number of users allowed to join is currently six, but I will likely add in more slots later.
