Best Hero

A hero is someone who helps others and are willing to go beyond for the greater good. As such, I'm going over the personality and history of these characters, and potentially a few other things if necessary (such as if there's a "present day" section of the page). The biggest thing I'll be looking for is their motive. What drives them, and why?

Best Character Design

Consistency, balance, color choice, repetition, uniqueness, and silhouette. They're all key components in making a character look good and stand out amongst the rest.

Male

1. Xavis Ignis - I feel like more could be done with his spines but overall I like this guy's style and design. He's unique enough to stand on his own, but he doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Nicely done. +1
2. Jim the Dog - Oh, he's cute...not sure how I feel about the shoes being a different shade of green than his scarf, but I like his patterns, a lot of people leave patterns out of designs. I'm going to have to stay neutral here; maybe try colors that clash less and use more repetition in them next time. 0
3. Raynard the Vampire Bat - His arm was a pain in the ass to draw but he is such a good looking character. I really dig his arm design too; just not sure if I'd ever draw it again aheh +1
4. Zagan the Gravebringer - I feel like his eyes need to be brought out more with a different color, and his headband blends in with his fur, but otherwise, I do like this guy's design, especially his hair. So fluffy. +1
5. Static the Cat - Orange and blue isn't an easy color scheme to pull off, and I admire Static for that. However, I feel that he could use a lot more to him, namely in terms of hair...in terms of silhouette his head fur really resembles Blaze's. 0
6. Kibo the Wolf - I'm not going to lie or sugarcoat this, he straight up looks like Tails. Do more with his hair and his clothing; skimming through his personality you can see that he's able to manipulate fire/wind. Why not give him an attire that's fireproof/provides less air resistence? Props for colors, but he needs more to stand out and not look like a background character. -1
7. Carson the Hedgehog - He's got such a clean cut design, wow. He is the definition of less is more. Nice, recognizable silhouette, and a simple but well chosen color scheme. I really like this guy. +1

2. Lilac "Rosebud" Wood - Sorry, but she looks extremely generic and plain...try using a color scheme beyond blue, maybe use more of that gold, or add some patterns to her hair/dress? I'm not sure what sorts of accessories would suit her, she's not my character, but I suggest ribbon, flowers (especially when considering her name), etc...right now, she doesn't have much going on for her...  -1
3. Aegis the Cheetah - Points for hair design, though she could definitely use more in the attire/accessories department. Maybe some sheathes for her swords? Since they're...uh...hanging there...with nothing holding them...still, I like her colors and hair. I'll let her slide. +1
4. Magnolia Sinclair - I legit thought she was a wolpertinger for a hot second there. Aside from that, I absolutely adore her colors, they remind me of a sunset. Her outfit is really cute too, and she's got a unique silhouette, mainly due to being a large variety of species. Cool. +1
5. Scarlet the Fox - I'm a little iffy on the color choices; she's a whole rainbow rather than a set palette. The bright green and blue of Mystic Fever really clashes with her bright red fur...pass, sorry. I really did enjoy doodling her though. 0
6. Glacier Von Fang - I voted on her a while ago; I can't recall which season, but I know that I liked her design. And I still do. +1
7. Kyxen the Lynx - What a cutie! I'm a sucker for pink and yellow/gold. She's simple yet original in looks, sometimes less is more. +1
8. Keira Reborn - Yo, real talk, I just adore how she looks. Her colors make me so happy ahahaha, she's unique looking as well! I love her outfit, I can see a lot of time and effort was put into her design. Nicely done! +1
