Undervision[]
Undervision is bassically a vision that happens in the Sonic Universe by Williamcost. It's pivotal in Sonic games. So, far its only happened in one game. There's a precedure in which the Undervision happens and how it does. There is a history behind the Undervision which will be explored at one point.

The Blue Blur[]
This game's about Sonic and co stopping a madman who desires to transform the world into nothingness and create his own timestream in which he rules. The Undervision makes its appearance twice in the game. Firstly, its when the mysterious echidnas destroy the Master Emeralds. Knuckles faints in the Blue Typhoon, and his Undervision is him meeting Locke (his father) and his ancestors hence guardians of the Master Emerald before him. Locke shows Knuckles all that happened to thier ancestors. Suddenly, this thing called the Memory attacks the Undervision. The next character who gets the visions is Omega, who collapses and his a vision of Eggman's old dead robots hence his brothers and Gamma standing over them like some sort of overlord. A robot with a brain within it called the M.E.M.O.R.Y attacks.
The Undervision[]
Its not clear what it is, but it happens at unexpected times. Sometimes, it depends on the event that's going on, but most the time it happens unexpectedly. Well, by the ancient Echidna scriptures, the Undervision happens to people who have forgotten they're past and didn't care about it. This was proved by Edmund the Scientist, who said that when people lose thier past, the Undervision wil come and remind them. It is ambigious to why the Undervision only happens when people forget what happened in the past, as told in the ancient Echidna scriptures, Kasadious , another scientist, actually had an Undervision but it wasn't of his past, but it was of a monster's awakening. People have predicted that the Undervision does a unique type of vision to people with powers, and with normal people, its usually reminders of thier past. No one knows where its come from, although the first person its happened to was Kasadious during the war with the Knuckles Clan and Nocturnal Clan. He had two, the monster's awakening, and the other is them winning the war. Echidnas are the first beings to have the Undervision. Although, its not only the Undervision that is ambigious to others only. Its also somethings that happen when your in it.
The Memory[]
When, Omega and Knuckles have thier visions, they wake up in the Undervisions and are suddenly attacked by an idnetity known as the Memory. Locke says "No, not this again" when it happens to Knuckles implying that its happened many times before. According to scriptures, the Memory deals with intruders of the Undervision. It is unknown where the Memory comes from, but Locke says that the Memory contains 3.5 billion minds, knowing almost everything. It is a huge brain that has attacks, with Omega's Undervision, the Memory itself was controlling a robot. So, it probably depends on the event that's happening in which is happening, or the sort of character he/she is. It can never be defeated since it'll just keep coming back stopping intruders. Echidnas theorized that the Memory probably has lived in the Memory maybe ever since the world began and its been peace and quiet. Until, visitors started coming and it wasn't in peace anymore. It has evolved over the years, however, in size and memory itself. Another intresting thing, is that when Knuckles defeated the Memory, it turned to a computer-coded like water when it splattered. Some believe, that there's a computer out there, not a normal one, that contains the Memory and Undervision. This is a theory that has been passed down in generations and is proved more to be the real thing.
History of the Undervison[]
The discovery of the Undervision took place during the war with the Knuckles Clan and Nocturnal clan, or at least the beginning of the war when it had just kicked off. They're theories that different people had the Undervision first and experienced it, first. Some are saying Pachacamac , the chief of the Knuckles Clan, some are saying Edmund, some say Kasadious since he knew so much. Although, some are saying, it is Tikal the Echidna was the first as she knew her father was goanna start the Emeralds. This hasn't been confirmed as it is a theory, but it does make sense. As Tikal realised her father would take the Emeralds therefore killing the Chao.
The reason why Kasadious is such a popular echidna to do with Echidna history is because he was a scientist and a poet. People say that Kasadious was the first was because he knew a lot about it, he did eventually have one, and like said before, it was of his future and not his past. Kasadious even stated-"
"The Undervision is a very complex theory to configure as it is a place that is very unique and unlike no other. There's a technique to it and how it happens to people, consedering the fact that they faint when they have these visions, and faint in thier visions unexpectedly to get out.
