Tulekahju the Mongoose (pronounced "TOO-lə-KAH-yoo") is a soldier that serves the Fire Clan of Fiamme.
Physical Description[]
A lean mongoose who stands a little bit over three feet tall, Tulekahju has a short muzzle with an oblong nose, fairly small, rounded ears, and a medium-length tail that tapers to a point.
His fur is primarily English vermillion in color, with a desert sand muzzle, inner ears, and chest, while his ears, the marks around his eyes, and the tip of his tail are dark red in color; the fur around his neck, upper back, and shoulders is also dark red in color, and he has English vermillion "freckles" on his cheeks. His hair, which is cut short and is somewhat messy, is black in color, and his eyes are cherry blossom pink in color.
His outfit typically consists of a café noir vest with black trim, café noir and black pauldrons, fingerless café noir gloves with black trim that reach to his elbows, a belt around his waist, and café noir boots with white cuffs, as well as a gold hoop earring in his right ear.

Like the other Fire Clan soldiers, Tulekahju is a fairly well-rounded fighter, who primarily excels in close-range combat; he wields a pair of tonfas as his weapons of choice, greatly enhancing his melee strikes and even allowing him to go toe-to-toe with those who wield swords, as he can block their strikes with his tonfas. Despite his supposed lack of defined musculature, his physical strength is considerably higher than it looks, primarily due to his extensive training as a soldier; he can lift up to 300 lbs. without assistance.
Tulekahju is a fairly adept pyrokinetic as well, and primarily wields low to mid-tier melee techniques of the Fire element, with his ranged/energy-based options being somewhat weaker. Being a mongoose, he has sharp teeth with strong jaws, and can deliver punishing bites.
Strengths/Resistances[]
Tulekahju is relatively resistant to the Elements of Fire and Nature (his Fire resistance is somewhat higher, however). He is also quite agile, able to dodge slow-moving opponents and attacks with ease. Hot, dry weather also strengthens his powers to some degree.
Weaknesses[]
Tulekahju is weak to the Elements of Ice, Earth and Water. His defenses aren't anything special, therefore he mostly relies on his agility to try and evade potentially devastating attacks. Being a manipulator of Fire, cold and/or rainy weather also severely dampens his powers. His chosen weapons falter against heavily defensive opponents, as he has no reliable means of piercing through their defenses.
