A vicious psychopath who revels in the pain of others, Thundereye was banned from Disaster Club for his depravity and the murder of his own parents. After forming the Lightning Gang of similarly minded delinquents, Thundereye has joined up with Beautyface to take revenge on the Ringmaster.

Difficulty: Easy

Health: 1700

Playstyle: Rushdown

Thundereye is a fairly standard “slow and powerful” character, with low mobility but extremely high close range damage. While it can take a while for him to get in, Lightning Burst allows him to be a mid-range threat and give him the break he needs, although this can make him quite predictable.

Both of his Throttles are designed for a rush down style, but in different ways. Throttle 1 gives Thundereye even more damage, while Throttle 2 gives Thundereye a comeback mechanic of sorts.

Special Moves

Move Name Input Type Description
Lightning Spark DC Up+DC 1 button/DC 2 button/DC 3 button Command Normal Thundereye’s hand sparks with electricity that damages enemies multiple times. The stronger the button, the higher the damage and the longer the move’s duration. Primarily used for pressuring opponents. OK in air.
Lightning Burst IMG 0408+DC 1 button Special Thundereye projects lightning from both his hands, traveling a short distance and damaging and temporarily stunning anyone in range. Thundereye's primary tool for poking the opponent, but can be risky to use in close range. OK in air.
Lightning Pummel IMG 0408+DC 2 button Special Thundereye jumps forward, his fist outstretched. If this hits he then proceeds to pummel the enemy to the ground. In the air the move becomes a command grab where he grabs the opponent, throws them at the ground, and then pummels them in the same way.
Lightning Tumble IMG 0408+DC 3 button on the ground. Special Thundereye dashes forward and swings his arm. Pressing DC 3 button again makes Thundereye follow up with a second Lightning Tumble. Slower than Rugal’s Inferno Tumble but deals more damage.
Lightning Crash IMG 0408+DC 3 button in air. Special Thundereye charges his hand with electricity and crashes into the ground, creating an electrical blast that knocks enemies away.
Lightning Upper IMG 0408+DC 4 button Special Thundereye performs a shoryuken style uppercut. Useful aerial opponents off guard. OK in air
Vicious Assault DC HCF+DC 1 button+DC 2 button Super A command grab. Thundereye roars before jumping forward and grabbing the opponent. He then pummels them rapidly as lightning bolts strike from the sky in unison with his attacks. OK in air.
Lightning Finisher DC HCF+DC 3 button+DC 4 button Super Thundereye performs one super powerful punch. If it lands, the screen goes dark for a second and lightning flashes across it before the enemy goes flying across the screen, having received huge amounts of damage.
High Voltage DC 1 button+DC 2 button+DC 3 button+DC 4 button Finishing Strike An unblockable command grab. Thundereye grabs the opponent. He then proceeds to electrocute them constantly while laugh and then slams them head first into the ground.

Throttle 1: Moves using lightning deal damage over time.

Throttle 2: Thundereye deals higher damage when he’s bellow 25% health.

Arcade Mode

Good Ending

Thundereye fights Ringmaster as the final boss.

“When Beautyface took control of the Lightning Gang, I think she misunderstood our intentions. I was their leader, not her, nor would she ever be. So we decided to continue her plan without her: I killed her and Ringmaster, Dean got his freedom, and now I rule over a much more brutal Disaster Club.

Bad Ending

Thundereye fights Rugal as the final boss.

“I turned on Beautyface, wanting the club for myself. I killed her, but Rugal and his friends stood in my way. I defeated him, but he and his friends managed to talk some sense into me. I’m rehabilitating now, trying to get rid of the sadism that had ruled me for so long. I’d tried to save Rugal from my fate before...maybe I’m reaping what I sowed?”
