It is true there are many people who hold the title of admin, but many do not enforce it. An inactive admin is as good as an inactive user.

It is true that other areas need more people, but as the community stands now, no one is really enforcing these changes. Mantaining the stale status quo is the worst possible solution. The dead chat is something we're currently looking into and will be dealt with.

Like Ryu stated, this is a growing site that changes with time. There are plans of demoting inactive admins in the future, too. The large amount of admins will eventually decrease.

Adminship should be more than just a badge of prestige.

As much as I want to say yes, I'm saying no (although by now, my vote will carry no weight). We simply have too many admins now. If anything, I'd honestly prefer it if other job roles were filled, rather than overfilling the massive group of admins/crats (just thought that I'd point out that the only active chat mod as of late has probably been Scorp and that we're now down to only three).

TL;DR: I'm sure that you'd be a great admin, I just feel that having this many admins is kind of ridiculous.

Too many admins? Yes. Enough ACTIVE admins? Questionable.
