  • Private Roleplay between Raider and Leopard.

Arashi, the husky hybrid stood against a wall in the G.U.N base, drinking what seems to be a can of cola. Huh, wonder why Raidou allowed me to take the day off, she wondered to herself.

      Loading editor
    • A wolf walked by the hybrid, swiping across a tablet. He was wearing a black t-shirt, a pair of navy blue combat trousers and jet black boots, in which his trousers were tucked.

        Loading editor
    • The hybrid attempted to drain the electricity out of the technology he was using. It would cause it to switch off it did work.

        Loading editor
    • The wolf, not noticing the hybrid he just passed, wondered why his device turned off.

"The hell?" he asked himself, pressing the power button.

        Loading editor
    • The hybrid finished the last of her cola, and crushed the can before throwing it in a nearby bin. "Having trouble there? Well, I turned that off for you." The hybrid chuckled.

        Loading editor
    • "I was working. Y'know, the stuff you're meant to do at work," the wolf replied, slightly angered.

        Loading editor
    • "Work? Are you serious? I highly doubt it." She laughed again.

        Loading editor
    • "I was going through a mission report. Who are you and what department do you work under?" he asked, still slightly angered.

        Loading editor
    • "I'm a freelance agent. I work for Raidou." She quickly shot back.

        Loading editor
    • The wolf put his hands behind his back.

"I'm going to need a name, Miss..." he said, leaving the hybrid to finish the sentence.

        Loading editor
    • "Arashi Saito." She sighed.

        Loading editor
    • "Arashi, huh? Well, I am Agent Lawson. Now, do you mind telling me what you're doing here, Miss Saito?"

        Loading editor
    • "I was on break today actually, General Raidou told me so." Arashi said, in a deadpan tone.

        Loading editor
    • "Oh I see. So, that makes you instantly think you have the authority to do whatever you want, even to other G.U.N personnel?" Lawson said, getting even more annoyed.

        Loading editor
    • "Go take your problem up to Commander Raiden then." Arashi smirked.

        Loading editor
    • "No. I will not. You are violating G.U.N conduct and I have the authority to prosecute you on the spot," Lawson said, now folding his arms.

        Loading editor
    • "Funny, like you can." She said, shrugging.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson shook his head with annoyance and sighed.

"I should probably let you know that you're talking to someone that consistently works with people deep within G.U.N's infrastructure. I can have you incarcerated for as long as I want if you keep this up."

        Loading editor
    • "Try me." Arashi said as she surrounded her fists with dark electricity.

        Loading editor
    • "Ooh, a kinetic eh? I might have to move out of the way. But guess what?" Lawson asked sarcastically.

        Loading editor
    • "Yes, what is it?" Arashi asked, raising an eyebrow.

        Loading editor
    • "I'm going to do nothing. If you attack me, I can just simply get you court marshalled."

        Loading editor
    • "Hm." Arashi said, walking off, attempting to drain the electricity of anything electricial in the corridor.

        Loading editor
    • As she walked off, Lawson sighed and put a hand on his face. He too then left the area, walking up to two security personnel on the way out.

"Tell the head of security that I want someone called Arashi Saito to be looked out for. There's something suspicious about her," Lawson said to one of them, who was holding a sub-machine gun across his torso.

      "Yes sir," the guard replied.

    • A few hours later, in a room inside the GUN base..

Arashi sat in a well lit room, filled with many computers and technology. She seemed to be messing about with the wires, trying to do something.

"I can't believe I bypassed that security lock using just my electrical powers. Typical G.U.N security..." She sighs, then continues talking to herself, "'He' told me to do this, so he would have access to the database. Wonder what's in it for me?"

        Loading editor
    • A guard who was patrolling the halls in the base noticed that one of the security doors was opened.

"Hm. This should be locked..." she said to herself.

She walked into the room. She hadn't spotted Arashi yet.

"Hello?" she said, pointing her SMG around the room.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi pulled the hood of her trenchcoat up, and attempted to hide behind where she was. She sighed, glaring at her guest, who just came into the room.

        Loading editor
    • Still not being able to spot Arashi, the guard pressed a button on her earpiece and began to speak.

"Security, can I have a team sent over to Data Centre A? It seems that someone's broken in. I've yet to find out if they've yet left, over," she said, leaving a small pause for a faint voice to be heard, "Will do, out."

        Loading editor
    • "Damn it," Arashi growled, pulling up her bandana over her mouth. She pulled out her crossbow, loaded it an bolt, and aimed at the intruder's leg, before firing a shot.

        Loading editor
    • "Gah! Son of a b****!" the guard yelled as she fell to the ground. She then grabbed her SMG, which had fallen to the floor with her and held it up in front of her with her finger on the trigger.

"Damn it! My leg!" she yelled. It seemed the bolt had gone through the flesh in her leg and poked out of the other side.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi then crawled out and stood up, reloading the crossbow with another bolt. She fired a shot at the intruders other leg, before quickly racing out the door, hoping to get away.

        Loading editor
    • She screamed as the other bolt pinned her left leg to the ground. She fired her SMG inaccurately at Arashi and hoped that at least one of the bullets from her weapon would hit her.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi took one bullets in her left arm, and growled in pain, before running straight down the corridor. "Idiots, trying to interfere with me.." Arashi muttered to herself, as she continued running down the corridor.

        Loading editor
    • As she ran down, alarms started to sound. This was shortly followed by an announcement, "Security teams Golf through Juliett to the Data Centre block immediately."

        Loading editor
    • Arashi quickly kicked a nearby door down that wasn't a security door, and went to go in it. She then locked it, and pulled her hood and bandana down.

"That was a close one.." Arashi sighed.

        Loading editor
    • About a minute later, four security teams, each comprised of five members, flooded the Data Centre block and a small amount of the surrounding area.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi grunted as she sat down at the chair at the nearby table and pulled the bullet out of her arm.

        Loading editor
    • Muffled voices could be heard outside of the room Arashi was in.

"Sir, look at this. There's an indentation near the middle of the door," one of the voices said.

"Huh, so there is. Nice catch, rookie," another said.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi quickly picked her crossbow, reloading it and aiming at the door, in case they came in.

        Loading editor
    • The door opened and five of the security guards entered with the stocks of their SMGs held closely against their chests.

        Loading editor
    • The hybrid fired a shot at one of them, before switching her crossbow out for her one handed katana. "I don't know who you are, and what you want. Here's the thing tho, you want answers, your gonna have to take me out first." Arashi said in a dark tone, growling.

        Loading editor
    • The bolt hit the last, unlucky guard to enter, who staggered and yelled in pain as the bolt sunk into his flesh.

"Sergeant Lawson, we've found her," the squad's leader said after pressing a button on his earpiece. The four remaining members of the squad all had their weapons pointed at Arashi.

"I advise that you put away your weapon, ma'am. I don't particularly want my men to waste their ammo on one person," the squad leader said to her.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi ignored him, before charging foward, attempting to slash one of the weapons out of the guard's hands.

        Loading editor
    • The leader jumped out of the way and another guard's SMG was smacked clean out of his hands. The leader then pulled the trigger and rained bullets upon her legs.

"Seize her weapons," the leader ordered to his men.

        Loading editor
    • The hybrid fell over, dropping the katana on the ground. She attempted to get up to grab it.

        Loading editor
    • Before she could grab it, one of the guards took it from her and another took her crossbow and her bolts.

The leader pressed his earpiece again, "Medical team to my location. We have a man down and the intruder has been injured, over."

        Loading editor
    • The hybrid lay there, fading into unconsciousness from her injuries.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson then entered the room asking, "What the hell is this?"

"I had to immobilise her, sir. She assaulted two of my men," the squad leader replied.

"I gave security strict orders not to shoot her." Lawson was beginning to get angry.

      "But sir-"

"But nothing. You jumped the gun and disobeyed a direct order. You could have called for back up before deciding to shoot the crap out of her legs!"

      "Sir, I-"

"You're dismissed. I'll be relaying your actions to your commanding officer," Lawson said, scowling at the squad leader as he walked out.

The medical team then came in and began to treat the injured guard's wound. Two members of the team picked up Arashi and carefully placed her on a wheeled stretcher. Lawson walked up to her.

"When you come to, we're having a word."

        Loading editor
    • About nine hours later.."

Arashi woke up, looking around curiously to see where she was. "This hurts like hell.." She commented.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson was sitting in a chair nearby to her.

"Of course it does," he said, "That officer did a lot of damage. I apologise for that by the way. He was completely unauthorised to open fire."

        Loading editor
    • "What do you want..?" Arashi asked, looking over at Lawson.

        Loading editor
    • "What were you doing in the data centre?" he asked, in a calm but serious tone.

        Loading editor
    • "Nothing important." Arashi said, sighing.

        Loading editor
    • "So, what's unimportant that meant you had to be in one of our data centres, hm?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Okay, I was trying to get into the database ti find out sone infomation on one of your wanted targets, Metal The Rogue..." Arashi growled, gritting her teeth.

        Loading editor
    • "Oh, I see," Lawson said, leaving his chair, "So what about him were you exactly trying to discover?"

        Loading editor
    • "Mainly how to take him down." Arashi answered.

        Loading editor
    • "Hm. That's probably one of the things that we haven't fully figured out about him yet."

        Loading editor
    • "That's all I was after." Arashi said, sighing.

        Loading editor
    • "Hm... Okay, I'll believe you. For now. If I let you out, are you going to cause havoc?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Maybe, maybe I won't. Do you expect me to be able to get up right now? No, cause I can't. Of course, I can't get out." Arashi mocked.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson raised an eyebrow of disapproval and said, "You know what I mean." He the walked around to the other side of the hospital bed in the very blank and dull room the two of them were in.

"Tell you what. If you promise not to cause havoc when you're not in this cell, even if you're still immobile, I'll try and get you access to anymore intel you might want on Metal, okay?"

        Loading editor
    • "Maybe." Arashi said sighing before turning away.

        Loading editor
    • "I'm going to need a straight answer, Miss Saito," Lawson said folding his arms.

        Loading editor
    • "Please, just call me Arashi. Yes, maybe, I don't know. I still have a wound in my arm and that still needs to be taken care of." Arashi said.

        Loading editor
    • "Don't worry it will be. If you co-operate that is. Anyway, I'll go send word to put you in the normal infirmary rather than this cell," Lawson said, walking over to the door, "But be warned, anymore of your antics and you'll be worse off than you were a few hours ago."

        Loading editor
    • "What happens if I do?" Arashi questioned.

        Loading editor
    • "I personally will use lethal force against you and quite honestly, I don't want to have to do that. You seem like you could do at least a little good in this world, even if you are a data thief."

        Loading editor
    • "I'm not a data thief. I'm a samurai-in-training. " Arashi complained.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson thought about something for a moment and asked, "Unrelated question: What do the people of the world mean to you?"

        Loading editor
    • "I do my job, I have nothing to do with anything to do with the civillans. "

        Loading editor
    • "Hm... Well, I should be on my way. If you are let out, you'll probably have a security detail with you at all times. There's not really much I can do about that," Lawson replied, opening the door, "I hope to see you on your feet soon, Arashi. You're interesting to talk to."

Lawson then left the room, leaving Arashi on her own.

        Loading editor
    • A few days later...

The injured hybrid got up, walking around. "Ugh, this is better but it still hurts..."

        Loading editor
    • The infirmary in which Arashi was in was somewhat quiet. In there were the two security guards that she had injured previously. Lawson walked through the doorway, swiping across his tablet like he usually does. He looked up and noticed Arashi on her feet.

"Ah, Arashi, I see you're on your feet. How're you feeling?" he asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Still like crap." She sighed.

        Loading editor
    • "Well, at least you've improved," Lawson replied with a short chuckle, "Just came by to let you know that the guy who shot you up has been put into military confinement for a while."

        Loading editor
    • "Then what else am I needed for?"  Arashi asked.

        Loading editor
    • "I have a proposition for you," Lawson said with no other explanation.

        Loading editor
    • "Yes, what is it?" Arashi said.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson looked around the infirmary and noticed that one of the two guards Arashi injured was awake.

"I can't say out loud. Read this," he said, handing her his tablet.

It said, 'You have been chosen to partake within Project Lionhead, an ongoing experiment to create the ultimate soldiers. If you chose to accept, more information will be given to you.'

Other than that, it said nothing else.

      "So?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "This does seem interesting. Okay then."

        Loading editor
    • "Okay then. I guess it's time to follow protocol," Lawson said, taking a deep breath, "Now, under no circumstances are you allowed to tell anyone of this exchange. Even higher ups. You are also going to have to meet me in the debriefing room in about an hours time, got it?"

        Loading editor
    • "Alright then." Arashi said, going to lean against the wall.

It was that second a snow leopard, wearing a white shirt, dark blue pants and black sneakers, behind him seemed to be a muscular what seemed to be a hyena in full combat armor holding what seems to be a tranquilizer rifle.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson turned to face the snow leopard and said, "Hello, sir," whilst standing to attention.

        Loading editor
    • "Mind if I ask what this is?" The snow leopard said, looking over at Lawson.

"Well, you see..." Arashi asked, going to walk away.

"Arashi, I'll deal with you in a second." The snow leopard growled, gritting his teeth.

        Loading editor
    • "I was just checking up on her, sir. It seems she's recovering quite well," Lawson said, with his hands behind his back.

        Loading editor
    • "You know what to do," Raidou said, gesturing to his guard, who was standing behind him. "I don't know who you are, but you had the nerve to interfere with one of my members. This is my problem not yours."

At that moment, his guard stepped out in front of him before taking aim with his rifle and firing a syringe in Arashi's back. Arashi staggered back, paralyzed from what she shot with. The guard went over and pulled it out before disposing of it. He then went over and restrained Arashi before dragging her over to the snow leopard.

        Loading editor
    • "Wait, what? What the hell is going on, if you don't mind me asking, sir?" Lawson asked, confused at what exactly had just happened.

        Loading editor
    • "Oh, I'm gonna take her away and see what happened. Just who do you think you are?" The snow leopard asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Jacob Lawson, Sergeant of the G.U.N military forces and Agent of the Science and Intelligence Division, at your service, sir," the wolf snidely replied.

        Loading editor
    • "Pfft, rookie." Raidou commented. "Take her to the commander. He'll know to fix this mess up, since she messed up again. I think it's best we do "it".." Raidou said as he looked over at his guard, who walked away a few seconds later with Arashi in tow.

"I have superiority over you, tell me everything that happened."

        Loading editor
    • "Do you want the whole story or just the stuff from the past five minutes?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Everything--" Raidou said as he interrupted by a phone call. He pulled his mobile out of his pocket and answered the call. "Yes? What? Are you serious? I'll be there, just use non-lethal force." He said as finished the call and looked over at Lawson. "I'll have to talk to you later." Raidou walked out.

        Loading editor
    • After Raidou had left, Lawson pressed his earpiece and said, "Put me through to S.I.D, level five security."

There was a brief pause before Lawson said, "This is Lawson. I want you to track the General. Yes, the General. I have an odd feeling about him and his relationship with Arashi Saito. I'm on my way now."

        Loading editor
    • About ten minutes later..

The General sat on a seat in a well lit room, looking over at Arashi who was strapped down to a chair.

"Now, now, I'm gonna make this painless. You move and this will hurt, you hear me?" He said, pulling out what seems to be syringe, full of some sort of clear liquid.

        Loading editor
    • In a room, far away from where the General and Arashi were, Lawson and a team of intelligence officers were looking at what was going on through a hidden camera in their location.

"The hell is he doing...?" Lawson asked rhetorically.

        Loading editor
    • The General went to go force the syringe into Arashi's neck, in which she jumped a little before glaring over at him.

"What the hell was that for? You know I'm afraid of--"

"Oh, I'm just forcing you to listen to me."

        Loading editor
    • Lawson continued to stare at the screen, awaiting what was to come.

        Loading editor
    • "I was d-doing my job, and then they saw me..." Arashi said, her voice sounding somewhat scared.

Raidou sighed, pulling the syringe out of her neck, placing it on a table. He pulled out a knife, and stabbed Arashi in her left arm at her shoulder.

"That's not enough information, I want more." The snow leopard growled.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson was starting to look concerned. "Hm. Have the suit ready. I might need it," he said to the person next to him.

"You're not seriously going to go against him are you?" his associate asked.

"Arashi is a valuable asset and so far, General Raidou has not been very accommodating," Lawson replied.

"Alright, but it's your death wish, Agent."

        Loading editor
    • About thirty minutes later..

Arashi lay there there unconcious from the many injuries that was inflicted on her, when the General was trying to get information.

The snow leopard pulled out the knife from her chest and looked around. "Why won't you listen to me..."

        Loading editor
    • By this time, Lawson was already suited up and on his way to Raidou's location with a team of armed guards.

"Lawson, this is S.I.D, Miss Saito's been stabbed," someone said to Lawson over a closed channel on his earpiece.

"Damn it," he said before turning towards the team behind him, "We need to move, delta."

People in the corridors of the facility were turning to see the heavily armoured wolf storming past. Some of the staff were worried, others were curious.

        Loading editor
    • Raidou got up and opened the door, walked out, walking away to his office.

        Loading editor
    • "Uh, Lawson. Raidou's left the room," the intel officer said to him in his earpiece.

"Track him," he replied, "Delta team, go check on Arashi, see how bad her injuries are. I'm going after Raidou."

        Loading editor
    • Arashi lay there unconcious, from her many injuries she had. She was bleeding out fast and it wasn't too sure if she would live without any help.

The General walked into his office, quickly grabbing his rifle and loading it. He then walked out of the room. "Now to make Arashi wake up.." He muttered to himself.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson's team had reached Arashi and had called for a medical team. Meanwhile, Lawson was had caught up to Raidou and was at the opposite end of the corridor to him.

"General Raidou," he said, pulling the charging handle of a very advanced looking weapon, "I see you've been having a nice chat with Arashi."

        Loading editor
    • The General looked over, noticing the Wolf. "What do you want?" He readied the rifle, glaring at the wolf.

        Loading editor
    • "Well, right now, I should be arresting you," Lawson said.

        Loading editor
    • "Go on, then." He said, putting the rifle down.

        Loading editor
    • "You're making this too easy. What's the catch?" Lawson asked, raising an eyebrow at Raidou.

        Loading editor
    • "Nothing, nothing at all." He grinned, quickly pulled out a grenade, pulling the pin and throwing it at Lawson. He picked up his rifle and ran off.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson quickly reacted and grabbed the grenade, he then quickly threw it behind him and chased after Raidou, leaving an explosion behind him. As soon as the grenade exploded, alarms sounded and sprinklers were activated to put out the fire the explosion caused.

It's hard to believe that he became the General of G.U.N... Lawson thought to himself as he raced down the corridor.

        Loading editor
    • Raidou threw down a few grenades behind him, as he quickly jumped into a nearby evaluator which had newly opened.

        Loading editor
    • "You coward!" Lawson yelled as he jumped over the grenades. Before he could reach Raidou, the elevator doors had already closed. "Damn it!" he yelled, punching the elevator door and making considerably large dent in it.

Lawson pressed his earpiece once more and spoke, "Raidou's escaped into an elevator, put the entire base into lockdown and keep tracking him."

"I thought you had him?" the intel officer replied on the radio.

"Well, it's pretty obvious that I don't. Now lock down the damn base."

It was obvious that Lawson was fuelled with anger now and was not going to take crap from anyone. A few seconds later, thick metal doors began closing all around the base, blocking off many of the rooms and the main entrance.

        Loading editor
    • Raidou got out of the elevator, and walked straight foward, holding his rifle. "That damn idiot thinks he can keep me out..." Raidou said, sighing.

        Loading editor
    • "Okay, got him. He's four floors up from where you are," the officer said.

"Finally," Lawson said, heading for the nearest flight of stairs, "Also, what's Arashi's status?"

"When the med team got there, they said she was bleeding out pretty quickly," the officer replied.

"Damn it," Lawson said, This is why I shouldn't try to make friends.

        Loading editor
    • Raidou walked down the corridor holding his rifle. He seemed to be impatient.

        Loading editor
    • After a minute or two, Lawson caught up with Raidou.

      "Raidou. Stop."

        Loading editor
    • Raidou, the General turned around and glared at Lawson. "What is it, you want exactly?"

        Loading editor
    • "It's not really the matter of what I want. It's more like what should be done. You have violated regulations three times today. You've tortured someone, you've resisted arrest and you've gone out of your way to try and injure G.U.N personnel," Lawson said, beginning to walked towards Raidou, "Now, you've have two options. One, you can co-operate and be spared. Two, I kill you on the spot. Make your choice."

Lawson aimed his weapon at Raidou just in case he decided not to co-operate.

        Loading editor
    • "You kill me and you'll be dead yourself. Fine then, I'll cooperate." The snow leopard growled.

        Loading editor
    • "Smart move, General. Drop your weapon," Lawson ordered moving closer towards Raidou whilst still pointing his own weapon at him.

        Loading editor
    • The snow leopard dropped his weapon.

        Loading editor
    • "Good."

Lawson walked up to Raidou and got out a pair of hand cuffs before proceeding to lock them onto his wrists.

"You are under arrest for doing the stuff I said before, blah, blah, blah and anything you say will be used against you etcetera," Lawson said, making it obvious that Lawson had had enough of Raidou at this point.

        Loading editor
    • He sighs. "Well, whatever."

        Loading editor
    • Two hours later...

Lawson walked around, swiping across his tablet in an interrogation room.

"Alright, General, let's start off with the little things. What is Miss Saito to you? An ally? An enemy? Something else?" he asked, sighing with frustration.

        Loading editor
    • "Mainly an just an experiment. Why do you ask?"

        Loading editor
    • "I need to know. Now, explain what you mean by 'just an experiment'."

        Loading editor
    • "You know, the things they do to experiments. You can find out more in the Project:Destroyer file." He sighed.

        Loading editor
    • "Hm, will do. Does she know that she's just an experiment to you?" Lawson asked, folding his arms and hazarding a guess of what the answer might be in his head.

        Loading editor
    • "No, she doesn't."

    • "Interesting," Lawson said with a smug look on his face, "Well, from this point, what happens to you is up to the President. Goodbye, General Raidou.

Lawson then turned around and left Raidou in the interrogation room by himself.

I hope the President makes you rot in prison, dirtbag, Lawson said in his head.

    • The General sighed, looking across at Lawson as he left.

    • When Lawson closed the door to the interrogation room, the chief medical doctor was waiting for him.

"Agent Lawson," she said, with a worried look on her face.

      "How's Arashi?" Lawson asked.

"Not good. I think it's best you come and evaluate the situation yourself. Come," she said, beginning to walk off.

Lawson followed her closely, trying to get to the infirmary as quickly as possible. Eventually, they reached the infirmary and headed straight for Arashi's room. She laid there, unconscious.

"So, is there anything that can be done?" Lawson asked the chief.

"Unfortunately, no. She's lost way too much blood. She's dying," the chief doctor said, with a saddened look on her face.

Lawson then stood there, looking at Arashi.

"I'll leave you alone," the chief said, walking off.

Lawson was thinking about something. Something big. After five minutes of thinking, Lawson pressed the button on his earpiece.

"Patch me through to Dr. Jonathan Lawson on a secure channel," the wolf ordered. After a few seconds, a person on the earpiece responded.

"Ah, hello Jacob. Finally decided to call your old man, huh?" the person said.

"Yeah, hi Dad. Listen, someone here is on the brink of death and I have an idea on how to save her," Lawson said in a very serious tone.

"Her? She your girlfriend or something?" his father said jokingly.

"No, dad. She's someone of great importance," Jacob sighed.

"Alright, what's this idea?" his father asked.

"Okay... I want you to put her through the augmentation process."

"I'm sorry, what?" Dr. Lawson asked, "Are you nuts, son?! That experiment almost killed you and now you want to try it on a dying girl?!"

"Yes dad, I do. Besides, she already knows the details about Lionhead and has agreed to partake in it. Might as well try the process again," Lawson said, with a worried look on his face. He wasn't even sure if it would work.

"No. I'm not doing it. I refuse," Lawson's father replied.

"Dad. I outrank you now. You are to perform the surgery. Direct order."

"For heaven's, Jacob... Fine, but if she dies, it's on your head. Bring her over to the lab. Lawson out," his father said, sounding quite frustrated.

I hope this works... Lawson thought.

      Two days later...

Lawson was sat on a chair inside the infirmary next to Arashi's bed. He was filing mission reports on his tablet again and he looked extremely tired. His dad then walked into the room, holding two mugs of hot coffee.

"Jacob, I brought some coffee," he said, closing the door gently with his foot. His dad had always been a weird person, but he was very serious when he needed to be.

"Thanks dad," Jacob replied, taking the mug from his father.

Jonathan placed his coffee on a small table and sat next to his son and said, "I will have to keep an eye on her you know. If her augmentations fail, I-"

"I know, dad. I'm just glad she lived," Lawson said before sipping his coffee.

    • Arashi began to wake up, looking around. "Ow, I think I hurt my head..." She said, growling slightly.

        Loading editor
    • "Arashi, it's good to finally see that you're awake," Jacob said, turning back into his formal mood.

        Loading editor
    • "What exactly happened?" The Husky asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Well, at first I was asking if you wanted to join Lionhead, to which you agreed. Then, General Raidou took you from me by force and after spying on the situation through hidden cameras, he almost killed you," Lawson said before sipping his coffee once more, "I took it upon myself to arrest the General and now he's being dealt with by the president. However, you were dying. The only way to save you was to put you through a very dangerous operation."

        Loading editor
    • "Where is he? I wanna deal with him." Arashi growled.

        Loading editor
    • "Uhh, Miss Saito, I'm Dr. Jonathan Lawson. It's best you stay in bed, you have to be closely monitored," Lawson's father said.

        Loading editor
    • "What is this for...?" Arashi asked, slightly disappointed.

        Loading editor
    • "Well... As you were near death, I told my father here, the head of Project Lionhead, to go through with performing a surgery where you would obtain augments to both keep you alive and make you stronger," Jacob said, placing his coffee mug on a table, "However, the reason you must be monitored is because, while you may feel fine, physically you are not. And when I was augmented..."

Lawson stopped. His eyes froze and his mouth stayed open slightly. It was as if something had just mentally shocked him.

        Loading editor
    • "Are you okay?" Arashi asked, looking at him.

        Loading editor
    • "Give him a moment," Dr. Lawson said, "His augmentation process was very traumatic. All of his augments were rejected by his body and he almost died because of it. This was mainly because he was up and active within two days when his body was only partially recovered. That is why you must stay here and rest."

Jacob still sat there and looked at the ground, remembering the horrible experience again in his memory.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi sighed. "Fine."

        Loading editor
    • Suddenly, he snapped out of it, shaking his head and closely his eyes tightly.

"I'm sorry, that was unprofessional," Lawson said, standing up, "Excuse me."

Jacob then walked out, taking his coffee with him.

"I must go too. I have to file a medical report. Get some rest, Miss Saito," Dr. Lawson said, leaving the room.

    • A week later...

Arashi woke up, looking around as usual. "Where did Lawson go off to this time..?"

        Loading editor
    • As she said this, the door opened and Lawson walked through with his tablet in his hand.

"Ah, Arashi you're awake. Feeling better today?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Lawson, where have you been? Yes, I feel a bit better..." She responds.

        Loading editor
    • "I've been busy actually. Doing stupid paperwork again... Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better. You okay to move around?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi got up, going over to Lawson. "Yes, I'm fine."

        Loading editor
    • "Right, good. You pass the first test," Lawson said, tapping the screen of his tablet.

        Loading editor
    • "Test?" Arashi asked, confused.

        Loading editor
    • "Yes. I need to carry out tests to see that all of your augments are working properly. The first test was to see if you could walk normally and you did," Lawson replied.

        Loading editor
    • "Okay then, what next?" She asked.

        Loading editor
    • "A lot. Obviously there are the basics such as your brain functions, your breathing, taste, hearing, touching etcetera and then there's the more advanced stuff like your heightened speed and strength," Lawson replied, with his hands behind his back.

        Loading editor
    • "Must I really go through with this?" Arashi sighed.

        Loading editor
    • "Up to you. Do you want to live?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah, I do." She said, folding her arms.

        Loading editor
    • "Well, then you're going have to go through this. Besides, if all goes well, in about a weeks time you're going to get a cool new toy," Lawson said.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi sighed, going to lean against the wall. "Fine."

        Loading editor
    • "Alright then, follow me," Lawson said gesturing towards the door and walking towards it.

        Loading editor
    • The hybrid followed Lawson closely.

        Loading editor
    • At that moment, Arashi would begin her training to be the second Project Lionhead participant. Her training would be boring at first, due to her physical health, but would later become more intense and would become fun to an extent.

      One month later...

It was midday and Jacob was in the armoury, making modifications to his highly advanced weapon. The mods he was making weren't big ones. He had simply added a green laser sight and was messing around with different scope attachments.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi walked into the room, that was Lawson was in. She walked over to him, tapping him on the shoulder slightly. "Ohey, Lawson." She said.

        Loading editor
    • Not knowing prior that she had walked in due to his focus being on the weapon, Lawson was startled when Arashi tapped him on the shoulder.

"Don't sneak up on me like that," he said, laying the weapon down slowly.

        Loading editor
    • "Okay, whatever. Anyways, what are you doing, Lawson?" Arashi asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Well, right now I'm trying out attachments for my cool gun here," he said smirking.

        Loading editor
    • "Firearms are old, you should try using japanese swords. Their better." Arashi mocked.

        Loading editor
    • "When the rest of my enemies have guns and I have a close-quarters weapon, I'm pretty sure the target will win. I use firearms because it allows me to perform better. Beside, this isn't just any old firearm," Lawson said, turning to his weapon, "This is a piece of technological genius."

        Loading editor
    • "Well, could I get a new katana then? If you can do that?" Arashi said.

        Loading editor
    • "Well, I dunno. I'll tell Dr. Lawson later and see what he can do," Jacob replied. Whenever he was at work, Jacob would always refer to his father in a formal and respective way rather than just simply calling him "dad".

        Loading editor
    • "Okay, do whatever you need to do." Arashi said with a slight smirk.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson had made the final adjustment to his scope and said, "Alright." He then turned to look at Arashi.

"You want to see what this thing can do in the firing range?" he asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Sure." Arashi nodded.

        Loading editor
    • "This way," Lawson said, beginning to walk over to a reinforced door. "You may want to on some ear defenders. This thing could probably destroy your eardrums."

        Loading editor
    • "On second thought....where is Raidou?" She asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Right now, he should be on his way to a high security prison. Why do you ask?" Lawson inquired.

        Loading editor
    • "Lemme see him. I'll be back." She asked.

        Loading editor
    • "He's in an armoured truck on his way to the other side of the city. I don't think that now would be the most convenient time to see him," Lawson replied, opening the door to the firing range.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi sighed as she walked across to the wall. Leaning against it, the hybrid immediately pulled out her mobile phone, only to get a call right at that moment. Pressing a button on it, and picked it up, Arashi placed it to her ear and talked into it.

"Hello? Yes, I used to work for Raidou. Wait. What. Are you actually serious? Okay, whatever." Arashi said, as she hung up. She walked over to Lawson. "Raidou's escaped."

        Loading editor
    • "Who called you?" Lawson asked, curious of who had this information.

        Loading editor
    • "I...I don't know. It was someone who knew me apparently." Arashi shrugged.

        Loading editor
    • "Hm. I'll check it out myself just in case," he replied, diving into his pocket. He pulled out his tablet and started tapping and scrolling through various tabs and pages before saying, "Hm. Okay then. I guess you'll probably be able to see what this thing can do on the field."

        Loading editor
    • "Your not gonna kill him are you?" Arashi asked.

        Loading editor
    • "Why are you so concerned all of a sudden?"

        Loading editor
    • "No, I was just wondering..."

        Loading editor
    • "Well... If I can, I'll try to keep him alive. If he resists, I'll fire this thing. There's no way he can withstand an explosive projectile flying at him at three thousand metres a second," Lawson said, taking his left hand off of the grip, "I'll meet you in the garage before we go."

Lawson walked out of the armoury, slinging his weapon over his shoulder.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi followed Lawson closely.

        Loading editor
    • Thirty minutes later

Arashi and Lawson were on their way to the scene of Raidou's escape in the back of a G.U.N transport van. Lawson was wearing his power armour and had taken his weapon and a pistol with him.

        Loading editor
    • "So where is Raidou?" She asks, pulling out her handgun, and loading it.

        Loading editor
    • "He was last seen on the freeway leading out of Central City. Where he is now is anyone's guess," Lawson said, examining the ammunition for his weapon.

        Loading editor
    • "Then how do we find him?" She asks him.

        Loading editor
    • "Follow any clues given to us, I suppose."

        Loading editor
    • "So, what exactly was he charged for?"

        Loading editor
    • "Assault of a fellow G.U.N operative, endangering the lives of G.U.N employees and torture. I'd say those are pretty valid reasons to lock a person up," he replied, slipping the projectile he was examining back into a holster.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi looked over at Lawson, that moment she got another call, and picked it up again. "Hello? Yes, this is Arashi Saito. Who is this? Oh, commander. Yes, what about Raidou? We're going after him. Oh, it's me and another person. Right, I understand." She said, putting the phone down.

"Well, the commander isn't pleased and he said he's gonna execute me, if we don't find Raidou." She said, in a displeased tone.

        Loading editor
    • "Execute you?" Lawson asked, shocked at the consequence. He then thought for a moment before saying, "I'm starting to get the feeling that you're not telling me something that I need to know."

        Loading editor
    • "No, I told you everything. The commander-in-chief is probably the one responsible for this. If you don't do what Raiden wants, there will be consequences. Rather extreme ones. Happens to everyone who doesn't do what's asked." She said, crossing her arms. "Raiden is known for his ruthless. He's in charge of GUN after all."

        Loading editor
    • "Hm." Lawson then looked at his weapon.

Raiden. Probably one of the most dangerous people on the planet and he's the head of G.U.N, he thought to himself.

        Loading editor
    • "Raidou was last seen in the van, apparently. Nobody saw him after that." Arashi said, sighing.

        Loading editor
    • The van pulled up to the place where Raidou made his escape. The freeway they were on was closed so that finding him would be easier.

"Sir, we're here," the driver said, letting go of the steering wheel.

Lawson proceeded to open the door and saw the Raidou's van, with every door open.

        Loading editor
    • Arashi climbed out, having her her handgun ready. She got up and walked off, handgun at the ready in case she needed to fire. She walked out a bit, looking around. "Raidou may of escaped somehow.." She went to look over at the van, looking for any clues to find Raidou.

At that moment, Arashi was shot in the shoulder by a bullet, and fell over.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson whipped out his own pistol and asked Arashi, "How bad is it?"

        Loading editor
    • "Bad enough I can't move...I think it may of been poisoned.."

        Loading editor
    • Lawson grunted. "Come out and face me like a man Raidou!"

        Loading editor
    • Raidou stepped into the area, holding a sub machine gun, it was known he was in full combat armor. "This was planned, you know. I wanted to get you here for reasons." He said with a smug smirk on his face.

        Loading editor
    • "You mind stating those or will I have to force them out of you?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "I'd rather not tell you till backup arrives."

        Loading editor
    • "People like you never listen to reason," Lawson said, holstering his pistol. He then proceeded to grab his weapon and load a projectile into it before pulling the charging handle on the side.

        Loading editor
    • "You're the only one standing in my way. The boss wants Arashi alive, not you." He said, placing his finger on the trigger of his SMG.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson laughed, "You didn't do a very good job of keeping her alive the last time you two interacted with each other." He aimed the weapon at Raidou. "I assume this boss of yours is our great leader Raiden, hm?"

        Loading editor
    • "Yes, Raiden is my boss."

        Loading editor
    • "Thought so. So, what's so important about her?" Lawson asked.

        Loading editor
    • "I have no idea to be honest. Something about how she was good for the Project:Destroyer project or something. You know, the one Metal was involved in."

        Loading editor
    • "I think I've heard enough now. I have every right to arrest you. Or shoot you on the spot. Take your pick," Lawson said, smirking.

        Loading editor
    • "You do that, and Arashi gets executed. Your pick." Raidou says with a smug grin on his face.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson remained silent. A few very faint beeps could be heard. Then out of nowhere, an immensely loud crashing sound could be heard and the projectile from Lawson's weapon exploded near Raidou's feet.

"I think she'll be better off dead rather than put through whatever torture you'll put her through," he said, loading the next projectile into the weapon.

        Loading editor
    • Raidou fell over, dropping his weapon.

        Loading editor
    • "You want to co-operate now?" Lawson asked sarcastically.

        Loading editor
    • He got up, and fired a few shots at Lawson.

        Loading editor
    • The bullets hit his shoulder and bounced off the armour plating, leaving a scratch. He then sighed and said, "Come on, your coming with me."

        Loading editor
    • "Try all you want, your not taking me in yet!"

        Loading editor
    • Lawson walked towards him, slinging his weapon of his shoulder.

        Loading editor
    • Raidou continued firing at Lawson.

        Loading editor
    • Some of the bullets managed to find their way between the armour plating and injure Lawson, making him jolt backwards.

      "Agh. Son of a..."

    • Arashi got up, stabbing her katana into the ground as she got up. "You've crossed the line, Raidou..." She said, growling slightly as a dark like aura appeared around her. The poison seemed to have weared off, it seemed like it was too weak to control me.., she thought to herself.

"STORMFRONT!" Arashi shouted, stabbing her katana into the ground, as she began to be covered in some sort of dragon like armor. Her katana seemed to have to disappeared, as she seemed to be holding a lance at her side now. Her body seemed to be fully covered in this armor.

The armor itself seemed to be a black color with various gold accents around it. She stood taller than before by a few inches. The armor itself seemed to be fairly agile and easy enough to dodge in. It seemed to have of covered her wings as well. Her helmet seemed to be shaped like a dragon too, as it had covered her whole face, leaving two holes for her eyes. They glowed red, as she looked over.

"This is where true power comes from....Lightning Strike!" She shouted as she ran towards Raidou, her lance aimed towards his head. He went to go dodge, but was hit by a lightning bolt from the sky.

He staggered back, aiming the rifle at Arashi, firing a shot a few times. Arashi took it, no damage been done to the armor.

Another bolt hit Raidou, this time stronger, he fell over wounded. Arashi walked closer to him, holding the lance in two hands as she went to go strike.

At that moment, Arashi was blasted by a blast of darkness energy, straight into the truck that Raidou was meant to be in.

She struggled to get up, obviously injured by the blast, it seemed to do alot of painful damage to the hybrid as the result of the fact the armor was broken slightly.

The figure stepped into the view, holding what seems to be a sword, in one hand. Darkness energy flicked over his other hand, as he smirked and walked closer. He seemed to be the same hyena that was with Raidou.

He wore light combat armor, and by the looks of things he seemed to be muscular. He walked over to Raidou and helped him up.

"Boss, Alpha said we're out of watermelon." The hyena said, laughing slightly.

"Maybe if you stopped the others from eating it. It would help! You really had to be worried about that instead of me! Smash, you need to stop worrying about weird things..." Raidou said, in a deadpan voice. "Now, get a move on and stop Arashi!"

Smash, the hyena rushed straight forward, holding his sword in a stance as he ran.

Arashi on the other hand, got up injured, the armor transformation seemed to have wore off, as Arashi was seemed to have wounds on both of her arms, and a noticeable cut on the side of her face. She seemed to bleeding slightly because of her wounds, and her snout seem to be slightly bleeding by the looks of things. "You wanna try..Smash? Bring it...!" Arashi growled.

Smash continued running, making a quick slash at Arashi. Arashi dodged, quickly kicking his blade out of his hands before getting punched in the face with Darkness Energy by the Hyena. Arashi staggered back, wiping the blood from her mouth and stabbing her into the ground.

"Stormfront fusion, engage!" Arashi said, as she began to be surrounded by the same armor as before. This time, the accents of it, was replaced by dark blue accents. The holes in her helmet seemed to be replaced by dark blue colorings too. She held the lance at her side, glaring at Smash, angered. "Smash, I won't let you win against me!"

"Nice try, kiddo, but I already know all of your strategies and your very own personal fighting style." Smash said, picking up his sword, summoning another one in his hand. Darkness energy flicked around the other sword, making it look as sharper than the other sword in person.

Smash charged forward, Arashi blocking the slash, but quickly getting slashed by the other sword that was radiating with darkness energy. Arashi and Smash continued the same fighting for a bit. Arashi dropped her lance by now, her helmet seemed to be battle damaged and partly broken, revealing part of her face. Her armor seemed to be in a bad condition as well, as it was broken in various places. She seemed to be badly wounded, as she seemed to be bleeding quite heavily in her arms.

She got up, and rushed straight for Smash, hoping to punch him back, the Hyena countered by dropping his swords, and punching Arashi so hard, she is sent flying quite a distance, past one of the barriers of the freeway. The hybrid proceeds to fall off, only to quickly grabbed by a mysterious figure in a what seems -to-be a rather huge camo colored helicopter.

The heavily armed copter quickly rises above the freeway, having multiple rocket launchers and machine guns attached to it. It seemed to have the G.U.N logo inscribed in the side. The figure then pulls Arashi up into the helicopter and proceeds to restrain her then quickly knocking her out. He then shuts the doors, making sure nobody could get in.

"This is G.U.N. Please lay down your weapons and surrender if you want to live. Resist and we will open fire. This is an order by the commander. Please do not disobey regulations." The person on the loudspeaker said from the copter.

        Loading editor
    • Lawson watched as the entire event happened. He was shocked, amazed and confused all at the same time. At the end, he heard the announcement loud and clear and he stood up straight.

"I won't surrender and I won't lay down my weapon. However, I will come with you peacefully, so we can sort this mess out," he said back, somewhat sourly.
