  • (POTENTIAL SPOILER)

I recently read something about the future Knuckies becoming mad with power and killing people in attempt to "repair" the world and then he gets stopped by his daughter and turned into an old man.

I was thinking what the biscuits did Moon Moon just read?

    • You just read the Dark Enerjak saga from Sonic Universe. There is still much for you to know how the red echidna got all that power, and why did he became like that. I suggest you start reading the comics more often, or just browse the Mobius Encyclopedia for more information on them.

As for your question, it depends on what you consider canon. The Archie comics are a seperate continuity based on the Sonic franchise that goes beyond the games, and thus are canon on their respective story-line. The SEGA games are canon also, but only canon on their respective game series, though they have major influence in the comics. All in all, it depends on what you consider canon or not.

Thanks Chames. I'll check that out. By canon I meant part of the official Sonic storyline.

    • The Archie comics are canon... so to speak. They take place in their own universe with their own timeline and their own setting. In regards to the Sonic games, they are not canon.

I guess you're right but I think there are some exceptions... Apparently, the Archie comics acknowledged and included the stories from the Sonic Adventure series along with the background of Shadow, which was also a part of those games (although I'm not yet sure if they also included Shadow's history from Shadow the Hedgehog. I'm sure they didn't do Sonic Heroes (where Shadow had lost his memory) so therefore they wouldn't have needed to include Shadow the Hedgehog anyway.
