So people have been marking a lot of pages lately, and SFWBOT is following suit and removing them. With the high volume of pages going in and out of Category:Candidates for deletion, it is very difficult to monitor them all. Mistakes are bound to be made, and some articles might get deleted even though they are perfectly fine.
This problem was expected at the very beginning of the cleanup, and is nothing to be worried about. ALL DELETED PAGES CAN BE RESTORED, so if your page was wrongfully deleted, please post a link to where it was, and one of the staff will review the page and restore it as long as it qualifies. WE WILL NOT HELP YOU IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE A LINK.
Please be aware that this does not exempt pages from meeting standards. If your page is restored, and it does not meet standards, the page will be re-marked with the standards template and given the normal 5 day grace period to be brought up to standards. If after that time the article doesn't meet standards, it will be deleted again.
I have restored that page, but it does not meet standards. As far as the owner being verified, a huge red template is enough notification. Besides, you should also be receiving emails any time someone other than you edits the page.
Hey guys. I just wanted to ask. Can I get the pages Dean the Wolf by PablodePablo, and Delta the Corrupt by CloudZero (It MIGHT be Delta the Corrupted.) undeleted? I have both author's requests to do so.
I'd personally like Jayhan Bostayn back. I wasn't even notified or anything. Granted, I was out of action for a while, but hey. I was on other Wikia wikis, it wouldn't be too hard to leave me a warning or something. :P
After reading this, I'm starting to feel a little paranoid about my pages being deleted. The only character that I have that doesn't have a construction template (I'm not sure if that protects against deletion or not) is Static the Cat, and the last thing I'd want is for him to be deleted unexpectedly. As far as I know, his page is well within the standards. Still, can't help but worry.
Most of these pages that are being requested were accidentally deleted because of a bug in SFWBOT. There is no way for me to go back now and undelete just the pages that were accidental, so I am providing a way for people to get their pages back through this.
If your article meets standards, then it is in no danger of being deleted.
