  • Despite being based out of Wales, Bonnie Tyler is the only artist in the playlist who is of Welsh decent.
    • In addition, Eurythmics are Scottish; the Bee Gees, INXS, Men at Work, and Real Life are Australian; and all of the remaining artists are British.
  • Yazoo is called Yaz in the United States and Canada due to a record company with the same name, but in-game they are called by their original British name due to the setting.
  • "Electric Avenue" by Eddy Grant plays during Shadow's training at the beginning of the game, directly referencing the stunt of the same name in Jackass 3D.
  • "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley plays whenever Black Doom messes with Shadow, referencing the internet phenomenon of "Rickrolling".
  • "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell is actually a cover; the original is by Gloria Jones, and that version appears in Cosmo's Wicked Adventures on The Beat. The Soft Cell version was also sampled by Rihanna in her song "SOS", which appears in Sonic Adventure 5 on the North Coast's Finest radio station.
  • "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" by Rod Stewart was interpolated by The Lox in their 1998 song "If You Think I'm Jiggy", which appeared in Sonic Adventure 3 on Empire City's Classics.
