Rose turns to the dark side as the rest of Omega Squad evacuate the G.U.N. Fortress.

Chapter Forty-Two: The Fallen Fortress[]
The news flashed to life in the infirmary television.
"This just in." Felicity Cat said," It appears that the virus, now being called a plague due to the extreme number of deaths, has spread to Soleanna, Westopolis, and Emerald Town."
"Oh my God!" Felicity exclaimed. "The patients who died from the plague are now alive, but they appear to be possessed!"
Felicity was inside the hospital. She ran from numerous people who had black eyes and a slight purple luster.
Rose woke up inside of the Space Colony Ark.
"Where am I?" she asked.
"Good morning." Eclipse said. She was no longer blood red, but rather a light orange hedgehog.
"You're on the Space Colony Ark." Eclipse told her.
Rose looked around. To her horror, a black and red hedgehog was stored in stasis next to her.
"Oh, so you've noticed him then?" Eclipse asked.
"That was your grandfather, Shadow the Hedgehog, Rose." Eclipse said. "Do you want to know who did that to him?"
"W-who?" Rose asked.
"Your guardian robot, E-123 Omega. Oh, he had no idea he was to imprison his friend. He was controlled by external forces." Eclipse said.
"But Rose, tell me, how did it feel to kill someone for the first time?" Eclipse asked.
"It was awful..." Rose said. "At first, I didn't even know I killed her but looking back I always knew in the back of my head."
"I can help you Rose." Eclipse said.
"How?" Rose asked.
"By purging you of those awful emotions." Eclipse told her.
"You can really do that?" Rose asked.
"Oh, yes." Eclipse said. "Just take my hand."
Rose took it uncertainly. A black shadow rippled off of Eclipse and into Rose. Rose opened her eyes, and they were now a dark shade of green. Eclipse turned blood red once more. Nightshade appeared next to her.
"Rose, how are you feeling?" Nightshade asked.
"I've never been better." Rose smirked.
"I have a special mission for you." Eclipse said.
"Of course," Rose said, "What is it?"
"Destroy Central City with the aid of the Shadow Warriors there." Eclipse instructed her.
"May we destroy the G.U.N. Fortress?" Nightshade asked.
"Oh, very well." Eclipse said. "After Central City."
"Chaos Control..." Rose said. She teleported away.
Shadow warriors, people infected with darkness, ran out of the hospital, destroying it in the process. Rose met with them.
"Shadow Warriors!" Rose called. "Join me as we destroy this city in service to the great darkness! And then, the G.U.N. Fortress!"
The Shadow Warriors cheered.
They all began to destroy the city.
Another news report flashed on. Thorn, Kyle, Honey, Cocoa, Quartz, Nails, Noon, and Jason witnessed the destruction of Central City. The Shadow Warriors were moving throughout the city to the G.U.N. Fortress.
"Attention all units!" Commander Tower bellowed on the loudspeaker. "Evacuate the building immediately, trainees! Prepare for an attack soldiers!"
"We need to get out of here." Noon said.
"But we should fight!" Quartz said.
"We don't know what these creatures are." Honey said.
"They might not even be able to die." Cocoa said.
Omega Squad went to Commander Tower's office.
"Everyone has been evacuated, sir." Duke the Hedgehog said.
"Good work soldier." Commander Tower told him.
"We should all get out of here." Alexandria the Hedgehog said.
"Commander Tower, we can't fight these things." Thorn said.
"I know. That is why the fortress is being evacuated." he replied.
"There are no more planes, sir." Noon said.
"Then we will have to go in mine." Commander Tower said.
As they were all getting on Commander Tower's plane, the Fortress shook.
"They're here!" Cocoa exclaimed.
Duke managed to get the plane out of the hangar and into the air.
Everyone looked down at the G.U.N. Fortress. The creatures formed a circle around it and blasted black energy at it. The G.U.N. Fortress turned to rubble.
"They're still alive!" Rose cried.
"Chaos Spear!" she shot a spear of chaos energy at the plane.
Duke swerved to the side to avoid being hit.
"Is that Rose?!" Honey exclaimed.
"No..." Kyle said.
"It is." Thorn and Cocoa said.
"I can feel it." Cocoa said, holding his heart.
"And Rose's aura is the same..." Thorn said. "I'm sorry..."
"Where can we go?" Quartz asked.
"I think I know a place." Honey said.
Rose appeared in front of Eclipse and Nightshade.
"Unfortunately, they did not perish in our attack." Rose reported.
"It is of no matter." Eclipse said.
"What is our next plan?" Nightshade asked.
"I can sense a place that is full of negative energy." Eclipse said. "A place no human can go."
"Prison Island." Rose smirked.
"That is where we shall begin."
