It plays a mixture of hip-hop, rap, soul, and R&B, and is one of the most chronologically diverse radio stations in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, as its playlist contains songs from the 1960s to 2015, the year the DLC takes place.

  • This is the favorite radio station of Sienna Murphy and Frank Damon.
  • The dial numbers are no coincidence; 94.5 are the same dial numbers as WJMN, better known as Jam'n 94.5, a radio station out of real life Medford, Massachusetts that plays hip-hop and R&B.
  • The Perceptionists, Bobby Brown, Gang Starr, Ralph Tresvant, Reks, and Termanology are the only artists in the playlist to originate from the Boston area.
  • All the parts of the logo represent the colors for Boston's real life sports teams:
    • "The" is colored red and white for the Red Sox
    • "Beat" is colored green for the Celtics
    • "94.5" is colored blue, red, and white for the New England Patriots
    • the speaker in the logo is colored for the Bruins
  • Nas' "Thief's Theme" is heard in the background of a mission, referencing its appearance in Martin Scorsese's 2006 crime film The Departed, which the DLC references numerous times. The song also samples "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" by Iron Butterfly, which can be heard on Bean FM.
  • A cover of "Tainted Love" performed by Soft Cell appears in Shadow the Hedgehog 3: U.K. Calling on The Clasiag Bridge.
