NOTE #2: If anyone has any ideas for a better name for this continuity, please feel free to suggest it- I literally came up with this name on the fly and I naturally have mixed feelings about it...

The "Team Dropship Continuity" is a multiverse created and maintained by me, Eliza Reed. This multiverse resulted from a thought that had crossed my mind yesterday afternoon: what if Sonic didn't exist, at least in the Dropship Prime universe? What if Doctor Eggman was slowly taking over Mobius, and laying waste to everything in his path?

What if Julie-Su and Whisper the Wolf, best friends since childhood and partners in bounty hunting, were forced to team up with a time traveler from the future named Silver and a hexed criminal scientist named Dr. Finitevus to stop Eggman once and for all? And all the while, none are the wiser to the fact that there is a much greater threat lurking in the shadows. A threat lying in wait for the perfect moment to strike.

History (Dropship Prime Universe)- WARNING: Spoilers ahead! Proceed with caution!!

Birth of the Universe, and the Birth of Mobius

The Three Old Gods had made many attempts to create a new universe using the power of the twenty Chaos Emeralds- the only known remnants of an older, now destroyed universe. Each of these attempts failed. Regardless, the Old Gods continued to try- and after several centuries worth of tries, they were finally succeeded. Unfortunately, all three of the Old Gods died in the process and were unable to look upon their great work. The Chaos Emeralds drifted in space for the next several thousand years, many of them eventually separating from one another when caught in a planet's or asteroid's magnetic field.

Seven of these Chaos Emeralds made their way to what was then known as Earth. Upon impact with the planet's surface, nearly the entire human race was wiped out in a mystical shockwave. Animals and plants mutated drastically, many of both developing sentience and most becoming bipedal as a result. And so, Mobius had been born.

The Servers of the Seven versus the Cult of Chaos

While over the centuries many different cultures and religions developed amongst the Mobian race, two orders became the largest of them all. One order was known as The Servers of the Seven, who were dedicated to the protection of the Chaos Emeralds from those who would abuse their power. The other was called the Cult of Chaos, an order bent on releasing the mythical creature Tikhaos from their prison inside the Chaos Emeralds.
