Yes it is, though I'm changing the lore and story, even location structure. But even though it is in fact a rip off, there are increasing differences between the two concepts. In Mata Nui, everyone loved another and the tribes were equal in every way. However in my world, they're not. Fire is the best and holds down the entire country, also ice is basically the devi in this world. I'm going to change up all the names and diversify the story. Though, it is indeed a lot of work to start with. Though, do realise it is not a DIRECT rip off, I gave my own turn of events. There is no mystical mask that holds down everything, there's just a single religion that people love. It exists simply as a base of inspiration these days for me, that rip off would be no more.Minato Arisato
