I think that maybe the main character adoption page should be archived and started fresh... There are a LOT of redlinks on there right now. Plus it'd make things a lot easier to find when it comes to who's newly up for adoption. Just a suggestion though.

Yup. Every two weeks (or every month, I've missed weeks before, and I know I'm gonna do so again), I typically create two or three (or four or five, depends) of those redlinks for people to adopt. Only a handful of these ones I create stay the same once adopted, but it helps. If I started from scratch, I'd have to rebuild the list. Do you know how long that's likely to take? Sure, I get rid of a lot of old junk nobody'll ever adopt. But I also get rid of a long line of characters I could create as a shell, so other people can work from a page WITH A DECENT template. People can adopt a character, and as long as they fill it out, it already meets requirements. New users can get used to the wiki with a safe page, if they think about it and find out about the page.
