Heyyyyy[]

What happened to Crackers Cat, then?

Ryushusupercat 04:56, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Crackers wasn't born yet. He was born 4 years later.

Digipower22 7:17 28, Nov. 2008 (UTC)

Ryu-Ryu-Ryu, this stupid guy named "Darth Tane" messed up your "Bruce the Jackal" Page. You might wanna edit it and make his User Page (if ya know what I mean).

Digipower22 10:24 28 Nov. 2008

Errmmm...Bruce the Jackal actually isn't MY page...Darth Tane just wrote it so messily, that I had to clean it up. I mean, he should take some pride in his work, you know what I mean?

Ryushusupercat 04:56, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Sooooo... Bruce wasn't created by you? And you edited his sloppy typing? OK, that wraps up everything. Hey, wanna be friends? Well, I also have another question. Do you think the K-9 Patrol should be related to the Sonic Brawlers???

Digipower22 4:27, 29 Nov. 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I cleaned up his mess :)

I'd like to be friends! ^^

The K-9 Patrol are actually a lot like the Knothole Freedom Fighters of the Archie comics.

Ryushusupercat 23:15, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

A GAME!!!!![]

Hey i put Chance "Clawz" Cat in my game Matt riders zeo gravity Go check it out

You did misspelling LOL. It's Zero Gravity. ROFL

Besides, Clawz is already in Sonic Riders: Chaos Matrix (I haven't made the article yet).

User:Digipower22 06:09, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey! Listen![]

Navi LOL. Your picture of Clawz is off-colored for some reason. He's got a perfect patterning of light orange spots :/.
Ryushusupercat 12:22, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

I dunno what happened, Digisapien uploaded it and when he posted it on the article, he just looked like a living quilt. BTW wat da heck is Navi!?! :(??????

User:Digipower22 06:01, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Whut you never played Legend of Zelda? Navi is Link's uber-annoying fairy in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Ryushusupercat 12:27, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

HEY![]

You took matt's theme song grrrrrr

S-Hog, there's a difference between the insrumental and original version. 1) The original does not have violin at the beginning. 2) The insrumental had censoring cause the original said "Kickin' a** fast."

See, there is no reason to be mad at me. BTW there is NO Sonic Heroes 2!

User:Digipower22 06:06, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Oh geez[]

Do you remember the last time they made a sonic game with cars Sonic drift? But now there's Sonic Racers? How could you put sonic in another car he dosent need them he could just run.

Sonichog5 17:25, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I can dream, can't I. Sonic Racers is different from Sonic Drift (Trust me, when I played it on the mini game collection on Sonic Adventure DX, it sucked.). SR's way faster and stuff. It sorta has the awesome traks of the Speed Racer game and the large variety of karts like in Mario Kart Wii.

Digipower the Orange Cat

Sonic can run at Mach 250.
Ryushusupercat 11:25, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Say wah? He can run at Mach 1. XD!

Digipower the Orange Cat

Nuhhhh Sonic can run at the speed of sound, I'm pretty sure that's considered around Mach 250. But just read [1]! (especially the abilities part!)

LOL it was renamed "Bad title!" Well, that's Archie. In the main STH series, he can run at the speed of sound, which is MACH 1!!!!!! Mach means "speed of sound." "Mach" with a number means the that number times the speed of sound. For example, Clawz can run up to Mach 6, 6 times the speed of sound, due to the mutation and stuff.

Digipower the Orange Cat

Sprites[]

Give them some original looking clothes, make it so that Horns ISN'T related to Tails (Being related to official characters is THE WORST thing you can EVER do when making a character) and I'll say yes quite happily, do you want Advance sprites or Genesis sprites?

-- Dark Paladin Danny 19:31, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

which is better/newer? Hornz the White Fox 19:48, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Advance is newer, but neither are better. I personally prefer (and am better at) Gens, but it's all about personal preferance as they are both used often -- Dark Paladin Danny 19:51, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Lol[]

Clawz's pic makes him look like a girl! Sonichog5 19:49, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Advance. (for DPD) I hate you Sonichog5.

I don't think you quite understand[]

You had claimed that your character was far from a god-mod, yet we see all of this:

  • Runs as fast as Sonic
  • Transforms without the need of all seven Chaos Emeralds
  • Godmodding form accessible through internal sources
  • Too many abilities
  • No defining/balancing weaknesses

Sonic is the fastest thing alive and you encourage this yet Clawz is able to run as fast as him, which would rip this title away from him. And before you make the excuse of Shadow, he gets by with his Air Shoes, not his natural speed.

No justifiable excuse doesn't exactly permit you to call it original to be able to transform with less than seven Emeralds. It surely won't stop your character from randomly taking out an Emerald and then usin' it to transform.

Being able to transform into an invincible form more potent than the Super form through internal/emotional sources just screams out godmodding.

Way too many abilities is excessive. No character in the Sonic universe has THAT many abilities either. In addition, most of these 'abilities' sound more like attacks/techniques than abilities.

Chaos Attacks that simply 'mess with his DNA to weaken him for a few moments' does not count as a weakness as similar attacks would produce an identical result and that Clawz can simply get back up after getting hit by such an attack.

You've got a bit of a long way to go before you can denounce this character's status as a god-modding character. Kaihedgie 18:03, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to quote you Digi: "- I actually agree, Matt. I edited this page, look at what I put XD. Besides, X Clawz would PWN Spike in one hit (Not that he's godmod, it's just that Clawz is invincible and has infinite power in his X Form)."

Now, you say he's not a godmod, yet you say he's completely invincible and has infinate power.... If he's completely invincible he can't be beaten If he's got infinate power he won't turn back until he chooses to Meaning he's completely unbeatable, thus he's a godmod -- Dark Paladin Danny 18:22, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

C'MON! Cut me some slack. I've been working on Clawz for almost a year. I chose every ability very carefully. I made compromises, balanced him, and did my best. Stop disencouraging me. And before you say you were'nt, think about what you said. Now let me quote you, Kai: "You've got a bit of a long way before you can denounce this character's status as a god-modding character." Yeah, that word, "denounce", really hurt. Now think, how would you think if someone said your char sucked. Hey, Danny is "INVUNERABLE to Chaos Attacks and other Chaos-related abilities." So, now what do you think?

Digipower the Orange Cat

Digi, Clawz is a godmod, in one way or another, mainly because he has super speed and can transform into his super form with only 1 emerald, and a form more powerful than a super form with all seven emeralds. how can you NOT say he's a godmod? --Guyviroth 19:32, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

But this isn't about me. I do not create characters to appease any power hunger that gets to my head and if I am going to make them powerful, I'm also going to be required to balance them out at the same time, but that's not the point here. This about you and what you consider to be original and what you define as god-modding.

You didn't choose abilities 'carefully', you just took a multitude of abilities that sounded cool and slammed it in there. To choose abilities carefully is to choose at least 2-3 abilities and explain the reasons behind them, how they are used and how much they can be utilized.

Worked on this for almost a year? That's definitely a no-no. By now, this character wouldn't have so many ridiculous abilities and power. What I suggest is that you talk to someone about how you can improve on this character. Kaihedgie 19:36, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

"Hey, Danny is "INVUNERABLE to Chaos Attacks and other Chaos-related abilities." " Since when did I ever say that? Ever? He has minor resistance to Chaos based attacks, about 7% of the damage he would take is buffered. The only total Chaos resistance is to his OWN Chaos energy, any one elses still does 93% about it's usual damage. -- Dark Paladin Danny 19:40, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Don't start bringing in percentages and other numerical figures; unless it's a computer game, numerical values mean squat. I could easily argue that an attack of mine, even with 7% of it mitigated, can still seriously injure you or harm you. Bringing in statistics will only add more fuel to the metaphorical fire that is this debate about godmodding. --Guyviroth 19:44, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

No offense Guy, but Summers really does have about the same number of Super Forms as Matt, so actually do have a little of unoriginality. Now leave me alone before I get a nervous breakdown. *eyes turn red*

Digipower the Orange Cat

Guy.... Thats kind of the point, Danny's Chaos resistance is minor. Danny can't take hits easily either. A heavy punch will wind him, a few can easily knock him out. Danny is based around evasion and mixing up with multiple weaker (Thats right, weaker, he's not a walking nuke) powers into a usable fighting method. And Guyviroth, it's not a statistic, it's a percentage -- Dark Paladin Danny 19:51, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

I could care less how many forms people had. More forms = something interesting. Something new to be brung to the table. What i don't like is people being able to easily access these forms. Before you start trying to flip the argument in your favour by again referring to Summers, Summers still has a hard time achieving the Super Form, as well as every other form thereafter; he just achieves it differently than other people without compromising its availablitity. In lamends terms, the way he achieves it does not mean he can achieve it more often than other people.

And yes danny, i know what you said was a percentage. I even said, in my first line, "Don't start bringing in percentages and other numerical figures". I only said statistics as a further point to my post. --Guyviroth 19:54, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Digi, I'm just gonna make this simple for you: rework Clawz and tone down his power. Simple as that. This character is a bonafide godmod Kaihedgie 19:56, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Danny, Kai, to you, you're saying I should rework Clawz. To me, it's like ripping apart something you loved dearly. Just try not to purposely force me to squash my creation like Play-Doh. 'Cause:

1) Clawzie is MY char and you have no right to tell me what to do. and 2) You have NO relation to my fan-fiction and I don't to yours, and I don't see me telling you how Danny should be.

'K, see what I mean. I'm not annoying you, but why are you annoying me.

Digipower the Orange Cat

-Facepalm-

Once more you fail to understand and make excuses. You said you don't want people to say Clawz as a godmod. All Danny and I are tellin' to do is how to fix this problem. It's got nothin' to do with relations or any of that shiz. If you don't want people to see your character as an eyesore, you're gonna have to take our advice, or people will keep harpin' on you for as long as you continue bein' stubborn about this. Kaihedgie 20:38, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

digipower listen to him i let them help me with matt and now he is an excelent fan character Sonichog5 22:13, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

WILL YOU GUYS STOP?! I think d22 gets it! I can take care of this! I'm his best friend. And i admit my character, Hornz, godmods too, so lets just stop!!! Digisapien the White Fox Is awesome, see? Hornz2 17:18, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Criticism - take it or leave it.[]

Now, I think there's actually quite a bit wrong with this character, to be honest, though I don't wish to attack you for it, just criticize ya to try to encourage ya to make yer character a bit more… unique, so to say.

Abilities[]

First off, what's with the overabundance of abilities? I could perhaps understand it if they were mostly original, but you mostly copy stuff official characters can already do, most notably Chaos Powers.

Then, what's up with him being able to transform in so many different forms? A sign of many a Mary Sue in Sonic fandom is them being capable of gaining a bunch of transformations, one stronger than the other.

Godmod?[]

Why is it your character is near invincible? Realistically speaking, the only one who could really defeat him in the Sonicverse would be Shadow if he was lucky. If "Clawz" didn't already outrun him beforehand, because he can obviously run faster than Sonic, another no-go in my opinion where Sonic-Fanchars are concerned.

I am not saying you got a bad character or that you as a person are bad… but I am saying that you could do a lot better than that. Your character has barely any flaws and is simply made to be better than all others, it seems… I am sure that you can improve. If you take my critique, I would like to see what you can make out of this character. Herman2000 19:56, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Please do not feed the birds (or the troll) or I will block you.
I'm not sure if this is one of them, but various Pokemon abilities have been imported here. This may be one of them.
Girl time
SSS
Super Mario 64 DS

Some of them sound it, kinda, but there's no way for me to tell -- I hate Pokémon. Though either way, it does seem odd to say the least, to add an ability to a Sonic fancharacter that doesn't even have anything to do with Sonic and where there is no explanation as to how the character got it. Also, thanks for correcting my text there, LB. Herman2000 21:29, January 15, 2010 (UTC)
