Super Spectrum (スーパースペクトラム Sūpāsupekutoramu?) is a transformation that appears in ChaosControl VA's Sonic AU. It is the Super State of Spectrum the Hedgehog, achieved by harnessing the positive power of the Chaos Emeralds. As his ultimate form, Super Spectrum has been by far Spectrum's most common transformation since the Light of the Hogferatu Arc, and it would become the hedgehog's greatest trump card against his adversaries in the climaxes of his later adventures, providing him with both the power and abilities to save the multiverse[12] on numerous occasions.[11]
Appearance[]
When transformed into Super Spectrum, Spectrum's proportions remain unchanged for the most part, and he still wears the same attire he normally wears.[13] Various changes include his red fur becoming golden yellow in color, his brown pupils turning red, his peach skin gaining a slightly golden hue, all of the quills on his head pointing upwards, and his flame decal turning a glowing white in color while giving off the illusion that its in motion.[13] He also possesses a golden aura that varies in size and can be anything from smooth to flame-like in shape. This aura sometimes displays either faint sparkles or electrical sparks. His Super Spectrum form greatly resembles Super Sonic, which resembles a Super Saiyan from the Dragon Ball franchise. Likewise, his powers are similar.
Skills and Abilities[]
Whenever Spectrum can get a hold on the Chaos Emeralds and achieve his own Super form,[14] Vi and his weapons are merged into his body, giving him a catalogue of new abilities to go along with the pre-existing ones that are merely enhanced.
