Subzero Glacier Egg Base

The Subzero Glacier Egg Base is a large base located in the Frozen Plateau Zone of Artika, and is owned by the Artika Egg Army.

The portion of the Egg Army that operates from this location is operated by Sub-boss Ivory the Leopard, who serves directly under Egg Boss. Ivory seeks to bring all of the Frozen Plateau Zone and the Gelid Forest under the control of the Eggman Empire.

Description

Much of the base has been carved into one of the largest glacial plateaus in the area, and only the entrance, the garage, and turret nests are visible to the outside world. The inside is as high-tech as one would expect of an Egg Base; it comes with various bunkers for the soldiers, a medical bay, a cargo hold, a garage, a recreational hub area, and a central command center.

Technology/Weaponry

Like all Egg Army bases, this base is equipped with state-of-the-art technology from the Eggman Empire.

Defensive Weaponry

The base has four towers mounted with turrets at each corner of the building; these turrets extend out of the glacial plateau that encases most of the base. The shots fired from these turrets are narrow, high-speed laser "bullets" of concentrated energy. They are not the most accurate, however, making them more effective against large targets. However, the "bullets" pierce through metal with ease, making them most effective against enemy vehicles and aircraft.

The turrets can also be charged up to fire a continuous beam of freezing-cold energy that can freeze things solid.

Egg Soldier Weaponry

Weapons carried by the Egg Soldiers here typically consist of laser rifles, but melee-weapons such as Energy Daggers, Energy Tonfas, and Energy Staves have also been seen.

Energy Daggers, Tonfas, and Staves often carry conduits of refined Algidite, giving an Ice-aligned punch to all attacks made with those particular weapons. Some Egg Soldiers use Energy weapons that have Chaos Drive conduits, however.

Badniks

• Burrobots - Primarily paired with Excavators, where they mine for valuable resources in the Shiverstone Caves. Burrobots do most of the digging through the ice and permafrost.
• Excavators - Primarily paired with Burrobots, where they mine for valuable resources in the Shiverstone Caves. Excavators are responsible for mining up minerals with precision.

Vehicles/Transportation

At the Subzero Glacier Egg Base, many Egg Soldiers opt to use Extreme Gear to get around, but some have been seen driving snowmobiles, as well. Sleds pulled by robotic reindeer are also used to haul around large cargo.

Residents

You may add residents, if you wish. They must be members of the Egg Army, however.

• Ivory the Leopard - Female; the Sub-boss who maintains this Egg Base, she is directly below Artika Egg Boss Tundra the Walrus in terms of rank. Like all Egg Army members, Ivory has undergone Cyberization, resulting in Cybernetic leg muscles/nerves. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Baltassar the Owl - Male; an Egg Soldier, and the rogue older brother of Lazarus the Owl, who is a member of the Gelid Forest Freedom Fighters. Like all Egg Army members, Baltassar has undergone Cyberization, resulting in a partially Cybernetic beak and left eye. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Artyom the Fox - Male; an Egg Soldier, as well as the cousin of Silver Huntsmen member Matvei the Fox. Like all Egg Army members, Artyom has undergone Cyberization, resulting in Cybernetic shoulder, upper back, and arm muscles/nerves. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Gerasim the Lynx - Male; an Egg Soldier who also serves as a field medic. Like all Egg Army members, Gerasim has undergone Cyberization, resulting in Cybernetic ears. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Ingvild the Caribou - Female; an Egg Soldier. Like all Egg Army members, Ingvild has undergone Cyberization, resulting in Cybernetic leg muscles/nerves. One of her antlers was partially snapped off from an accident inside of the Shiverstone Caves. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Anja the Ptarmigan - Female; an Egg Soldier. Like all Egg Army members, Anja has undergone Cyberization, resulting in Cybernetic wing feathers. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Ensio the Hare - Male; an Egg Soldier who is also training to be Gerasim's medical assistant. Like all Egg Army members, Ensio has undergone Cyberization, resulting in a Cybernetic spinal column. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Lotte the Husky - Female; an Egg Soldier as well as the head mechanic of the Subzero Glacier Egg Base. Like all Egg Army members, Lotte has undergone Cyberization, resulting in a Cybernetic tail. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Leifur the Ermine - Male; an Egg Soldier. Like all Egg Army members, Leifur has undergone Cyberization, resulting in Cybernetic ears. Owned by Ryushusupercat (Talk).
• Privet the Polar Bear - Male; an Egg Soldier. Serves as the heavy for the Subzero Glacier Egg Base. Privet has undergone Cyberization, resulting in a Cybernetic spinal column. Owned by VGN34D.
