— Spike
Spike the Cyber-weasel is a character in the upcoming The Legend of Ashura series by MewtwoLucario. He is a 14-year-old, sky blue, anthropomorphic cyborg wolf/weasel who is a long-distant cousin of Fang the Sniper and the Power member of Team Glitch.
Appearance
Spike is a cyborg wolf/weasel who has sky blue fur and grey robotic parts. He wears brown boots with white gaiters, brown gloves with metal plating, a black collar with white spikes and a brown Stetson hat with an antenna sticking out of the top of it. As his name applies, Spike has four spikes on his left glove and right boot, and two on the end of the metal part of his long tail. His right eye, right ear, right leg, left arm, the end of his tail, and his body are cybernetic.
Powers and Abilities
Spike often uses his cyborg abilities to take out an enemy, rather than confronting them one-on-one like Ashura and Eclipse. He can shoot a laser out of his cybernetic eye and use the antenna on his hat to shoot out small bolts of concentrated electricity. Similar to Mega Man, he can copy other robots' abilities and use them for himself. Like Fang, Spike's tail is rather strong and flexible, since he sometimes uses it to relax on.
History
Concept and Creation
While making The Legend of Ashura, MewtwoLucario decided to give Ashura a best friend. The best friend would play a similar role as Tails: he would have a brotherly relationship with Ashura and be crazy loyal to him. One of the first ideas for him was an armadillo, who would go under the name "Spike the Cyber-dillo". A few more passed through, including "Spike the Cyber-gator", "Spike the Cyber-echidna", and "Spike the Cyber-fox". But MewtwoLucario decided to instead go with a weasel. Thus, Spike the Cyber-weasel was born.
Early Life
Spike was born as the youngest of 6 weasel kits. He was born with several genetic mutations, including his large fang and strangely blue fur. He was also half blind and half deaf. What he lacked for in looks, however, he made up for in brain. At age 5, he was able to build himself some robotic parts to help him hear and see better. He later went on to become a full-scale cyborg. Unfortunately, this led him to being bullied and teased. It was so bad that he couldn't find any friends. Tired of being picked on, Spike retreated into the wilds, taking with him all of his gadgets.

Power: Spike drops a bomb out of his Extreme Gear. He says "Going out with a BOOM!" as it explodes.
Sonic X
The Sonic X incarnation of Spike is very similar to the original Spike, especially their backstories. He is noticeably, however, more sarcastic and serious about almost everything. He also often calls Eclipse a "doof" for believing in myths and legends. The reason for this is, as he says, "Just because G.U.N. tried to cover up Ash and Shadow doesn't mean they're hiding other myths that don't exist."
Alternate Counterparts
Robin Hood
— Showing off his arrows
Robin Hood is Spike's Arthurian counterpart, which is odd because the actual Robin Hood wasn't part of Arthurian legend. Unlike the actual Robin Hood, he isn't accompanied by his "Merry Men"; he is accompanied by Ashura's and Eclipse's Arthurian counterparts: Sir Aglovale and Sir Caradoc. He uses a bow and arrows as opposed to a sword. Additionally, Robin isn't a cyborg.

Lyrics
- Can you feel life
- Movin' through your mind?
- Ooooh, looks like it came back for more!
- Yeah, yeah, yeah!
- Can you feel time
- Slippin' down your spine?
- Ooooh, you try and try to ignore!
- Yeeeah!
- But you can hardly swallow
- Your fears and pain!
- When you can't help but follow
- It puts you right back where you came!
- Live and learn!
- Hangin' on the edge of tomorrow!
- Live and learn!
- From the works of yesterday-ay!
- Live and learn!
- If you beg or if you borrow!
- Live and learn!
- You may never find your way!
- Whooooa, oh yeah!
- Can you feel life
- Tangle you up inside?
- Yeeah, now you're face down on the floor!
- Ooooh!
- But you can't save your sorrow
- You've paid in trade!
