Sonic the Hedgehog: Legends, also known as Sonic Legends (or Sonic Heroes 2 in Europe) is an action platformer released in November 2016, the game is a sequel to Sonic Adventure 3. The game was released on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, and PC.
The game is also a crossover between the Sonic game series, and the television series Sonic Boom.
The gameplay is a mixture between Sonic Heroes, along with Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2. The game revolves around team work and uses other characters to make it across different obstacles, or defeat a certain type of enemy or boss.
The game is divided into three types of abilities similar to Sonic Heroes, Speed Characters, Flight Characters, and Power Characters. Any character that has a Super Transformation is able to use all three abilities at once.
One of the differences between Sonic Legends, and Sonic Heroes is that you can now only instead use two characters at once instead of three.

Sticks seems to already know who Sonic and Tails are despite the fact that they never met before, Sticks tells Sonic and Tails that she waited all day to tell Sonic that she found a strange portal at the far end of the island.
