HUB Worlds

The list of HUB worlds are the same, but with one additional HUB world. There is not a lot changed in HUB worlds except they are designed much differently. They are slightly larger than the original designs, giving players the experience of exploration and finding items. Instead of the small portals, the HUB worlds will contain regional areas indicating the stage entrances.

Castle Town

The capital city of Soleanna. This contains entrance stages such as the beach, the desert, and the underwater Soleanna laboratory.

New City

The modern city of Soleanna. This contains areas such as the docks, a train station, and the snowy mountains.

Soleanna Forest

This hub world consists of a dense forest between Castle Town and New City. The areas in this hub world are the old Soleanna castle and the jungle.

The Future

An additional HUB world containing the future surrounded in lava and fire. It is actually a regional plain where the areas entering the stages are the ruined city and a volcanic mountain.

Action Stages

There will be additional stages to be added in the stage list (the "*" will highlight the added stage of the game). Some of the additional stages will serve as alternative versions of the original stages.

  • Wave Ocean
  • Chaotic Coast: This stage is similar to Wave Ocean except that the skies are cloudy, and the weather is windy. A number of beach areas are infested with dark liquid, and Iblis' minions are the main enemies. Shadow is the only character to play this level in Story Mode.
  • Dusty Desert
  • Lost Tabernacle: This stage takes place inside the ancient temple areas of Dusty Desert. Shadow is the only character to play this level in Story Mode.
  • Dockyard Isle: This stage is the industrial area located besides the seas of New Soleanna.
  • White Acropolis
  • Frozen Shelter: This stage takes place inside Eggman's base of White Acropolis. Amy is the only character to play this stage in her story as she helps Princess Elise to escape from the clutches of Dr. Eggman.
  • Crisis City
  • Flame Core
  • Radical Train
  • Tropical Jungle
  • Vineyard Ruins: This stage takes place at the ruins area of Tropical Jungle.
  • Kingdom Valley
  • Brimstone Gorge: This stage takes place at Kingdom Valley except it is now filled with lava and burning areas. Silver, Blaze, and Amy are the only characters to access this level in Story Mode.
  • Aquatic Base: This stage takes place in another of Eggman's secret base submerged in underwater. It was formerly the facility of Soleanna researchers which was shutdown 10 years ago.
  • Research Calamity: This is the alternate version of Aquatic Base. The only difference is that the base will be Soleanna logos painted on some areas instead of Eggman's logos.
  • Battleship Downfall: This stage takes place inside a collapsing Egg Carrier. This is the final level of Sonic who must race to rescue Princess Elise before time runs out in 10 minutes.
  • Void of Solaris: Formerly named End of the World from the original game. Instead of this level consisting of characters finding the Chaos Emeralds at various stages, characters will be located at various areas surrounded by a dark-colored void with various platforms floating.
