Jules Needlemouse (grandfather)
Sonic the Hedgehog (often nicknamed the Blue Blur) is the self-proclaimed Hero of Mobius and the Blue Dude with a 'Tude. He is the main protagonist in the upcoming animated saga Blue Blur, written by Mac the Writer.
Appearance[]

He appears pretty much the same as his game canon counterpart: he has green eyes, his fur is blue, he has red sneakers, he has a hedgehog-like haircut, etc. However, there were a few added details. Additional spikes from his Boom design was added; he wears a sleeveless jacket with his zippers unzipped, alongside a T-shirt underneath; he has fingerless gloves; and he wears a necklace with an A-Ring attached to it.
Personality[]
Again, his personality is the same as in the game continuity; he's cool and groovy, he's very impatient and loves to run fast, he likes to crack occasionnal cheesy one-liners, he loves adventure, etc. Whenever someone feels down, he always confort them by encouraging them to smile.
History[]
He was once a little boy and a schoolkid called Nicky Needlemouse. He was born in South Island, where he was raised by Chuck Needlemouse. But when Dr. Robotnik invaded the city of Mobotropolis, Nicky ran away from the crisis as fast as possible, and while running away from the SWAT-Bots, Nicky managed to run faster and faster until he broke the sound barrier, resulting his fur turning blue and his eye-sight improving. He ran all the way to Knothole Forest, and he met with a supposed assistant of his grandfather. Introducing himself as Merlin Prower and recognizing Nicky as his grandfather's grandchild thanks to his blue fur, he decided to train him with his newly founded ability in speed. After weeks of training, and being tested by running through a shuttle loop, Merlin was unfortunately killed by a group of SWAT-Bots, and Nicky was forced to destroy them before they kill him. Needing to change his identity to prevent being identified by the Robotnik Empire, he changed himself rather drastically; he cut his front hair; he tossed aside his glasses for green-coloured eye-contact; he wears new shoes and gloves; and he ultimately changed his personality. He was transformed into the infamous blue blur himself, Sonic the Hedgehog.

He started off his journey in Green Hill, where he fought countless SWAT-Bots, and then defeated Robotnik's then-new assistant Tails from guarding a capsule with trapped Mobians. When Tails left, he broke the capsule to free all Mobians, and it was there when he met up with a younger seedrian named Cosmo the Seedrian. Deciding that she can assist him in his adventure, they first became acquaintance before they became adoptive siblings when Cosmo saved Sonic from almost drowning in Labyrinth Zone. When Sonic and Cosmo broke many imprisoned Mobians out of Robotropolis, and Sonic defeated Robotnik for the very first time, the two Unbreakable Bond, alongside the people they freed, created a village in the middle of Knothole Forest under a similar name, Knothole Village.
Abilities[]
His ability is obviously speed. He can go faster than the speed of sound, can roll into a ball to attack enemies, and can homing onto enemies to attack them. If he collects all seven Chaos Emeralds, he can become Super Sonic.
Weaknesses[]
Like in the game continuity, he's hydrophobic, resulting him not being able to swim. Whenever he's in a situation near water, he cowers a bit and claims that he wouldn't dare go jumping in the water.
Theme Song[]
His theme song is another Pendulum music named Crush. It's fast-paced beat, electronic rock mix, and the opening lyric "I was running out in the cold light, wondering where to go to run away without you" was fitting of Sonic's "act first, think later" strategy. File:Crush (Pendulum)
