Sonic the Hedgehog's Incredible Amusement Park Zone is an amusement park based around Sonic the Hedgehog. Located in San Francisco, California, it was open to the public on June 23, 2021- Sonic's 30th anniversary.

Features

HoloMatronic Characters

The amusement park features meet-and-greet characters from the series. However, these characters are the first type of "HoloMatronic" characters. These characters walk and talk on their own, and as the name implies, they can be holograms or solid. The characters' dialogue is based on their voice chip, which contains the type of voice they're speaking at.

Attractions

Speed Highway Coaster

Inspired by the Speed Highway stage from Sonic Adventure. This fast-paced roller coaster features loop-de-loops, sharp turns, and a steep slope section inspied by Sonic's run down a building in the stage. It's not recommended for children.

Dueling Asteroid Coasters

Inspired by the Asteriod Coaster stage from Sonic Colors, as well as the Rolling Thunder attraction from Six Flags. There are two types of tracks you can experience during this ride. Sometimes, you can even see the other roller coaster ride alongside yours!

Entertainment

Chao Playground

Inspired by the Chao Garden. This is basically a nursery for younger audiences. Parents can leave their toddlers here so they can play around with the HoloMatronic Chao here. There's also a jungle gym here.

Casino Arcade

Inspired by Casinopolis from Sonic Adventure. This area is an arcade filled with many great games. Included is the famous Sonic the Fighters arcade game, as well as exclusive pinball machines based off of Sega games.

Restaurants

Bucket-O'-Sushi

Inspied by Aquarium Park from Sonic Colors. Inside, the restaurant looks like a Japanese sushi restaurant, and also has fish you can look at while waiting for your food. The menu includes sushi, fresh fish, rice, rice balls, and french fries.
