Sonic UnderGround is a platform game for Nintendo 3DS and Wii.
Plot
About a month after Eggman's defeat in Sonic Dimensions, there was no sign of him at all, which bored out the Sonic Gang. To make time pass by, Sonic signs up to audition as the guitarist for a band. To his surprise, the other two band members were his long-lost siblings, Sonia and Manic! All of them are glad to see each other again, and they give Sonic his old guitar and medallion he used when he was in the band. After a few chats, Dr.Eggman appears in his new and improved machine, the Eggbot maker 3000. With the push of a button, thousands of swatbots were scattered around Mobius. Sonic, Sonia, Manic and friends help restore each continent, the Sonic Underground also doing a concert after each continent is at peace.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is a laid back hero meant to symbolize peace. Well-known for his legendary cocky attitude, easy-going demeanor and somewhat short temper, yet strong sense of justice and love for freedom and adventure, Sonic uses his abilities to protect the innocent and his world (as well as many others) from the forces of evil, especially his arch-nemesis Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik who seeks world domination. |

Sonia the Hedgehog
Sonia the Hedgehog is is an eggplant-colored anthropomorphic hedgehog with orchid spikes and hair of the same color. In this universe, she is the sister of Sonic the Hedgehog and Manic the Hedgehog, as well as the daughter of Queen Aleena. Unlike her brothers, she does not have tan colored arms and stomach/chest. Sonia and her brothers are the members of the band "Sonic Underground", who perform various songs as they travel. She plays the keyboard as she has been a great pianist since childhood. |

Manic the Hedgehog
Manic is good natured and has a good sense of humor, he's also a bit of a thrill seeker. He can get jealous of his sibling's special abilities; putting himself or others in danger by attempting to prove himself or doing things on his own. Manic, of course, plays the drums in Sonic Underground: The Game. He can twirl his sticks with his left hand, twirl both sticks in his right hand, and throw them in the air and catch them like what most drummers do. His sticks are small, and "bend". |

Miles "Tails" Prower
Miles Prower, better known by his nickname, Tails is an 8 year-old yellow-orange, anthropomorphic fox with two tails, hence his nickname. He is known to be Sonic's best friend, sidekick, and an expert mechanic. He is able to use his two tails to travel at super speed as well as propel himself into the air like a helicopter. |

Amy Rose
Amy in the main series is presented as being somewhat kind and sweet. In Sonic CD, she was referred to as an "optimistic tomboy" who loves fortunes and uses tarot cards. However, after Sonic Adventure, Amy had grown a more feminine personality, such as an interest in shopping and fashion, but that didn't remove her tomboyish nature, as in the more recent games, Amy has become far more violent and aggressive, much to Sonic's dismay. She often shows her anger by pulling out her Piko Piko Hammer out of Hammerspace, sometimes threatening Sonic with it. In this game, Amy wears an entirely different outfit just for Sonic's first concert. |

Queen Aleena
Queen Aleena the Hedgehog is a fictional character in the cartoon series Sonic Underground, where she is the mother of Sonic, Manic and Sonia. She is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with violet-eggplant hair and cloak, as well as purple fur and green eyes. Her crown and the slightly thick piece of cloth at the front end of her cloak is gold. While her armor covering her body is white, the jewel on the middle of it is cerise. Queen Aleena is caring and does her best to help her children—she once openly fired on a group of SWATbots and a Roboticizer to save Manic. |

Sally Acorn
Sally is strong-minded, and is very opinionated. Sally is sometimes known to be kind but headstrong and has a tendency to put too much pressure on herself to react in the most wise way. She is a leader of the Freedom Fighters, second only to, or on level with, Sonic himself. With her father banished to the Zone of Silence, Sally is second in line to take the throne, currently held by new King Elias Acorn, her older brother. She can be very caring as well, in many cases Sally goes out of her way to make sure her friends are safe and happy. She can be somewhat insecure at times when Sonic is not around, and is possibly emotionally dependent on him. Even so, as princess of Mobius, she is a firm leader with a strong sense of justice and a warm heart. |

Mina Mongoose
Mina Mongoose is a yellow, female, teenage, anthropomorphic mongoose. Mina has purple hair held back by a black headband, and green eyes. Mina has demonstrated to being very kind and loving, especially toward Sonic. She can also be rather timid and shy, especially when she first appeared. Mina's most prominent ability is her singing talent. King Max recruited her to sing for the troops due to her voice. Since then, she's been on the road to becoming a famous singer. Also, she's a faster runner than the average Mobian, a skill that stems from the fact she's a mongoose, a naturally fast creature. |

Play different songs you've unlock in story mode and go against people around the globe! 2 Players only.
Music Mode
Listen to different music that you've unlocked in story mode from concerts. You can unlocked more music by getting S ranks at concerts and stages.
