Synopsis[]
Amy Rose was at the edge of a dark abyss. A pair of glowing purple eyes stared up at her.
"Yes, as you wish Mother." Amy said.
She went into Elise's cottage and gathered her team. Shadow, Cream, Elise, Vanilla, and Felicity filed into the basement. Bunnie was unconscious in a chair.
"Now, as you all know, Mother recquires six sacrifices in order to unleash her. We already have one." Amy said.
"And how are we supposed to get any others?" Felicity asked.
"Think of the person you hold a grudge against most. For taking your place, or causing you to lose someone you love, or taking the person you like." Amy explained. "Got it?"
They all nodded, eyes glowing pink.
Knuckles was on Angel Island. He hadn't been there in weeks, and wanted to relax. He thought of the serene waters, winds, and plains on the island. It soothed him. Knuckles was sitting on the Emerald Altar, with the Master Emerald in the center of it. The Chaos Emeralds were on seven pillars surrounding the altar.
Knuckles felt something was wrong as soon as the wind stopped. A figure walked toward him.
"Shadow." he said.
"Hello, Knuckles." Shadow said.
"What do you want?" Knuckles asked.
"Revenge." Shadow used the powers of the seven emeralds around them to give him more Chaos Abilities. He sped around Knuckles using Chaos Control. He hit Knuckles in the back with Chaos Spears and Chaos Blasts. Finally, Knuckles lost it. He was starting to lose consciousness.
"Why?" he asked.
"For Rouge." Shadow replied.
Julie-Su was walking along the street by Gaia House. She saw someone behind her.
"Hey, Julie-Su." Felicity said.
"Oh, hi Felicity. What's up?" Julie-Su replied.
"Oh, nothing much." Felicity said. She punched Julie-Su down.
Julie-Su kicked her in the stomach, almost getting away. Suddenly, a burst of high winds bolted through Soleanna, and Felicity glided on them using wings on her dress. She tackled Julie-Su.
"Why are you doing this?!" Julie-Su exclaimed.
"Because I love Knuckles!"
"You hardly know him! Besides, he's my soulmate!"
"Lies! Mother is telling me the truth!" Felicity said, her voice turning venomous. Her eys glowed pink, and mist spewed from her mouth, knocking Julie-Su out.
Cosmo was sitting under a tree, reading a book. Cream walked up to her.
"Hi Cream. It sure is a wonderful day, isn't it?" Cosmo said.
"Yes, it sure is!" Cream replied. "Perfect for Mother's rise!"
Cosmo's eyes widened. "I don't think you're talking about Vanilla..."
She dropped the book, and ran away. Cream flew at her. She slapped her, and thrust Cosmo down into the concrete, knocking her out.
"I'm sorry Cosmo. But Tails is too important to me to lose." Cream said.
Unbeknownst to any of them, Big and Marine saw the exchanges between Felicity and Julie-Su and Cosmo and Cream.
Sonic raced off towards the Beach house on the Wave Ocean Beach, leaving Tails in the dust. Someone tapped Tails on the shoulder.
"Tails." Vanilla said. She grabbed Tails throat and started choking him!
"What....are...you...doing?!" Tails exclaimed.
"Helping Mother." Vanilla replied. "This is for Cream!"
Pink mist spewed from her mouth, and knocked Tails out.
Sally was on her way to the Beach house Espio had told Sonic and Tails about, when suddenly, a girl walked up to her. She was a pink hedgehog, wearing a black dress under a red coat.
"Amy?!" Sally exclaimed.
"That's my name!" Amy said. "So....you're my replacement."
"What are you talking about?" Sally asked.
"You took my place in the group." Amy said. "You'll pay for that by becoming Mother's final sacrifice!"
Big and Marine went to the beach house to look for Sonic. They told him about what happened to Cosmo, Julie-Su and Sally.
"I saw Vanilla lugging Tails off, too." Sonic said.
"What are we gonna do?" Big asked.
"We need to investigate. And I know just who to call." Sonic said.
"Sure, we'll help ya." Vector said.
"Of course." Espio said.
"Yeah!" Charmy exclaimed.
Together, the five of them headed off to Elise's cottage....
