Synopsis[]
Amy told Sonic about Rosy. Sonic explained to her the disturbance the house experienced last night.
"We're going to Iblis House now," Sonic said.
"Wanna come with?" Tails asked.
"Sure," Amy said.
They went to Iblis House. It was partially rebuilt. Knuckles noticed a pendant on the ground.
"What's this?" he asked.
"I've seen that before!" Tails said.
"Where?" Sally asked.
"Online. It's called the Pendant of the Zeti," Tails said.
"What's that?" Amy asked.
"I'm not sure," he replied.
"We'd better get going," Knuckles said.
"Right. Julie-Su's taking the Class photo," Sally said.
The five went back to Gaia House. Sonic, Sally, Knuckles, and Tails changed into the school's robes. Amy went to research the Pendant of the Zeti.
"Eggman, do you know anything about the Pendant of the Zeti?" Amy asked.
"Yes, I do," Eggman said. "The Zeti were an ancient race of nomads. Legend has it they were descended from the alien Wisps. They made their home in an area called the Lost Hex."
"Lost Hex?!" Amy exclaimed.
"Apparently, the Duke of Soleanna who created Iblis and Gaia House visited Lost Hex and used stones to create it," Eggman told her.
"Legend says that every thousand years or so, a spirit of the Zeti chooses a Soul to return the Lost Hex to an altar. There are numerous altars scattered around the world. Once Lost Hex returns, the Zeti shall wreak havoc on the world for five thousand years. However, a sacrifice is recquired in order for the Lost Hex to travel from their plane of reality into ours," Eggman said.
"Thank you for the information, Eggman," Amy said.
Rosy walked into Tails' room and grabbed the pendant. Mighty saw her.
"Wonder what she's up to..." Mighty said.
"Come on, Ray. Let's follow her."
"I-I guess so," Ray said. "But don't you think that's an invasion of privacy?"
"Nah. Let's go!"
They followed Rosy to a clearing in the Soleanna Forest. Her voice changed and her eyes glowed yellow.
"Soon, Zeena. Your will shall be followed. Those children shall receive a graduation they will never forget!"
"This'll make for a good story!" Mighty said, scrawling words on his notepad.
"Okay, Knuckles, I really need a medal to give to the valedictorian," Julie-Su said. "Or else I won't be able to graduate."
"I know where to get one," Knuckles replied.
He went to Tails' room and found the pendant missing. He told the others.
"We have to find it!" Sonic yelled.
"W-were you looking for a pendant?" Ray asked.
"Yeah. You know where it is?" Sally asked.
"Rosy has it. She's acting weird in a clearing," Ray said.
As Sonic, Tails, and Sally ran to the forest, Rosy walked inside.
"Give that back," Knuckles said. He grabbed the pendant.
"You'll regret that soon enough!" Rosy said, storming off.
"Here you go," Knuckles said, giving the pendant to Julie-Su.
"Thank you so much!" Julie-Su said, kissing him.
Sonic, Sally, and Tails saw an altar in the woods. It had the same symbol as the Pendant of the Zeti.
"Guys, we'd better get back," Sally said. "Graduation's gonna start soon."
"You're right!" Tails exclaimed.
The three ran back.
Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Sally met up at the graduation hall.
"I found the pendant," Knuckles said.
"Where is it?" Sonic asked.
Knuckles looked towards Julie-Su. She was showing the pendant to Elise.
"Great.." Sally said.
Rosy was sitting on the altar in the woods.
"The hour approaches!" Rosy said. An hourglass was next to her, with very little sand left in the top.
"I welcome everyone to the Graduation Ceremony of the students attending Soleanna Academy!" Elise said.
"Now, I welcome Class Valedictorian, Miles Prower to the stage." Elise said. Amy, Shadow, Cream, Eggman and Vanilla clapped in the audience.
A flash of lightning went through the sky as Elise placed the Pendant around Tails' neck. His eyes glowed yellow, and he walked off stage.
"Come on!" Sonic said. He, along with Knuckles, Sally, and Amy ran after Tails. Amy told them what Eggman said about the Pendant.
"Um, please excuse this hiatus. For now, we welcome Chip and Felicity Cat to the stage for their chocolate baking techniques!" Elise said.
Eggman walked out of the hall, following Sonic, Knuckles, Sally, and Amy.
Tails flew into the Soleanna Forest. Sonic superspeeded to the altar.
"Welcome Tails! You have heeded my call!" Rosy cried.
"Zavok! Zazz! Zeena! Zik! Zomom! Zor! The Lost Hex shall return, and the Deadly Six shall rule the world!" Rosy cried.
"Tails," she said. "Come to the altar and bow before your masters."
"Tails, don't!" Sonic yelled. He superspeeded into Tails, and yanked the pendant off.
"Wha-what's going on?" Tails asked.
"Tell you later!" Knuckles yelled.
The Lost Hex appeared in the sky! Lightning bolts struck down on the world. The Zeti were angry, and raining down their anger.
"You have to stop this..." a voice said to Sonic.
"Wha-what?" Sonic asked.
"I know you can do this, my Nocturnian."
"Blaze?" Sonic asked.
"You have saved our worlds countless times. You must save it for the final time, now, Sonic."
"I know what I have to do," Sonic said.
"What?!" Sally asked.
"Today is the day I die," Sonic said.
"Sonic...I love you!" Sally said.
"I love you too, Sally." Sonic kissed her.
He superspeeded to the altar. He kneeled down, and smashed the pendant into pieces. Bolts of lightning rained down on Sonic and Rosy.
"Sonic!" Sally cried.
"Sonic! Rosy!" Amy cried.
"No!" Knuckles and Tails yelled.
Eggman walked into the clearing.
"No..." Eggman said. "My greatest adversary... gone. It should have been me!"
"Sonic..." Sally cried. She was sobbing.
Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman surrounded them.
Sonic started coughing.
"Ugh...hey Sal," Sonic said, smiling at Sally.
"You're alive!" Sally exclaimed. She kissed him.
"How is he alive?" Knuckles asked.
"I thought a sacrifice was recquired," Tails said.
"In order for Lost Hex to wreak havoc on the world, yes. But a willing sacrifice caused them to return to their other plane of existence." Eggman said.
"Rosy...." Amy said, crying.
Rosy's eyes shot open.
"Amy?! Where am I?" she asked.
"You... don't remember anything?"
"The last thing I remember... was him saving me and you from Metal Sonic." she said, pointing at Sonic.
"Why can't she remember?" Amy asked Eggman.
"The Six's punishment, or rather, reward," Eggman said.
Mighty and Ray popped out of the bushes.
"Great job guys!" Mighty said.
"That was amazing!" Ray said.
They had videotaped the whole thing!
"What? We aregoing to be reporters!" Mighty replied, looking at their tiresome faces.
"Come on," Sonic said. "Let's graduate."
Everyone returned to the Graduation Hall.
"Now, I present, Miles Prower!" Elise said.
"They say graduation day is the most important day of your life. And now I understand why. It's an ending, and a beginning, all at once. And my advice to all you alumni, is to go have fun! You've all earned it, working hard, attending classes, solving rid-problems. Without further ado, here are all of your diplomas!" Tails said. He and Elise passed them all out.
"Thank you, graduating class of Soleanna Academy, for a year of thrills and excitement." Elise said. "Congratulations Iblis House, Gaia House, Chaos House, and Wisp House!"
Everyone cheered and threw up their graduation hats.
That night, everyone partied.
However, it was indeed full of fun, it was also full of the loss of friends.
"You're doing what?!" Sonic asked.
"I am going to try and find the Lost Hex and reason with the Zeti," Eggman said.
"When has reasoning, controlling, or talking to mythical monsters ever worked out for you?" Knuckles asked.
"Well... never. But I can still try!" Eggman said. "Goodbye, everyone."
"Goodbye Eggman," they all told him.
"So...where's everyone going?" Amy asked.
"Well, I'm going to the Kingdom of Acorn for college," Cosmo said.
"Cream and I are going to my workshop in the Mystic Ruins," Tails said.
"Julie-Su and I are joining Team Chaotix," Knuckles said.
"So are we!" Mighty said.
"What?" Knuckles asked.
"We sent in our story to them and they said they'd welcome us as new detectives!" Ray said.
"I'm going fishing with Froggy!" Big said.
"I'm returnin' to the Sol Dimension," Marine said.
"I think you'll like what you find there, Marine," Sonic told her.
"Whaddya mean?" she asked.
"You'll find out," Sonic replied.
"Rosy, well, she likes to be called Rose now, is going to Station Square with Honey," Amy said.
"And you?" Sonic asked.
"Well, I'm joining G.U.N. with Shadow," Amy said.
"Which should be interesting," Shadow said.
Amy laughed, and kissed Shadow.
"I'm going wherever Sonic is," Sally said. "And I know he's going wherever the wind takes him. That okay with you?"
Sonic grinned.
"Always."
