Sonic Blades (Sonikku Bureido), is an Anime addaption of the Sonic the Hedgehog Series. The anime is created and drawn by Rin za Ookami-chan. The anime is rated TV-14. The anime is Licenced by Funimation Entertainment and aired on Adult Swim.
Plot
Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat recently became partners working for G.U.N since Blaze had appeared

back in his world again and both were sent on a mission to Kamihime to investigate strange activity there. They were heading to Kami no Hana City, Kamihime's capital, to start the mission and also they were sent to watch and
protect two school girls, Yuffi the Hedgehog and Rin the Wolf. But they soon figure out that the two school girls are actualy accomplished fighters with unusual abilities, along with their friends Asami the Fox, Aya the Fox, Ichiro the Fox, Isao the Hedgehog and Junichi the Hedgehog, they formed a group called The Kamihime Jiyuu no Faita. The mission of the group is to none other than defeat the Necks of Orochi, whom are responsible for the strange activity and are aiming to awaken the Yamate no Orochi from it's seal, and also to find the remaining fragments of Kamui. Sonic and Blaze become part of the group and are soon welcomed by two other members, Kaiko the Wolf and Chikane the Dog.
Joining them in the battle is the Freedom Fighters of Knothle, Team Chaotix and two members more members of the G.U.N force they prepare for the battle that slowly draws everyone into this conflict, but unknown to them that the real battle is only just beguining. Bonds will be tested, a hidden past is revealed and the chains of fate entangle.
