Sonic Advance 4 (also known as Sonic Advance 4: Nega's Rebirth or Sonikkuadobansu 4: Nega no fukkatsu) is a platform video game that is the sequel to Sonic Advance 3 and the 4th game in the Sonic Advance Series. It takes the elements from the first three games and it add some new features to the game as well.

Plot

After the events in Sonic Advance 3, Dr.Eggman has resurrected an ancient evil who actually plotted to split the world apart, it went by the name of Nega. They both planned to take over and rid every living thing in the world which includes Sonic and Friends. Sonic decides to team up with his new allies,Tye and Friends to finish Eggman plot once and for all.

Gameplay

This game still retains it gameplay from the original three games. But here is a list of the updated features,modes,and gameplay.

Overdrive

New to the who series, it's similar to boost mode and stuff like that. This new feature allows you to go into a sorta state that gives you a major boost. It is limited however, you can exceed a certain time limit (which is upgradable) Certain characters in this state can gain buffs or even extra rings.

VS Battles

This is sorta new to the game instead of having a 1 on 1 race you have a actual fight in a 2D ring and are able to use objects around you. You have a health bar at that instead of rings for more fun and more challenging experience in a 2D battle.

Game Modes

Main (Story Mode)

You are about to enter an exciting adventure of these heroes as they are about to fight and finish eggman's plot once and for all. You can choose from 5 difficulty settings Beginner,Easy,Normal,Hard,Legend. To get the Extra and True ending you need to beat all the arcs. Extra story you need to beat all arcs with a S rank on all stages.

Gallery Mode

View the cut scenes and movies that were unlocked in the story. View all the art and figurines you have unlocked in the game.

Mission Mode

They have some in Story mode too but here you can do missions that are fun and challenging.

Free Play

Well you can play through the stage that you already finished.

Time Attack

Race for the fastest time and compete against other in a race to the top of the leader board.
