Sonic: Mega Drive Reborn is a work in progress fan-fiction rewrite of Archie Comic's Sonic: Mega Drive trilogy written by DeviantMaster2014, A.K.A. Jose J. Ayala Velez, as a response to the cancellation of Sonic: Mega Drive - Overdrive. It includes elements that were not in the original comic or its sequel, Sonic: Mega Drive - The Next Level, including an original character.
The plot is similar to the one from the comics, except it has something the original trilogy lacked: a proper conclusion. It also adds an original character, Blade the Wolf.
