This is supposed to be the final Sonic story taking place even after the Archie comics and the Sonic X series. It starts when Tails and Sonic are chilling out on the beach and suddenly Metal Sonic levitates down and attacks them, after a brief fight Sonic proves himself no match for the robots new found power. Metal Sonic then takes Tails and flies him back to the Death Egg where Eggman holds Tails captive and begins operating on him to turn him into the ultimate killing machine. Meanwhile Scourge, Suppression Squad, and the Destructix all invade from Scourge's zone to have a final all-out war against the Freedom Fighters and all that wish to defend them. And a unknown thief has made off with the emeralds and brought them back to Eggman. Then from seemingly no where the ultimate threat emerges from his zone with his minions of darkness to take over Mobius Prime as his own. The Heroes struggle with battling Scourge and friends in the final battle, save Tails, get the emeralds back, defeat Eggman who's empire appears to be growing, and the new threat. Can they do it in time? Or will they all fall against the overwhelming threats?
