Smokescreen is a useful defensive technique, making an effective distraction.
Description[]
The user releases a thick cloud of gas, typically stated as black, dark gray or deep green. This gas cloud can be released through the mouth as a thicker wall of harmless smoke, or through the nostrils (or backside) for a much more narrow area. Unlike Smog, a technique that this is commonly mistaken for, the gas cannot poison, although it can be reasonably hard to breath while in the midst of it. However, it is a lot thicker in color for a lot longer, making the technique extremely useful for an escape or a sneak-attack. Indeed, anybody caught within the technique without any form of sensory boost are unlikely to land a single hit on their target, no matter what.
However, like Smog, the technique is easily affected by Wind-techniques, which can dissipate and move the smoke, making it easier to see. Thermal vision is also useful to see-through the gas cloud.
