This is a page showing a list and full description of the roleplays between Smash The Echidna, Hyper The Hedgehog, Roy The Fox (AKA Speedy The Hedgehog), and some/many other people involved. It will also show the roleplays done by Smash, Hyper, or Speedy, meaning that one or the other was not present during the roleplay. The roleplays done between the three became an entire series.
The story revolves around a group of friends, generally hanging out and enjoying eachother's company. Soon, the group gets swept up in the conflict of two sworn enemies when a starship crashes on the outskirts of their city. Frost, A retired Galaxy Soldier from a different galaxy, was trying to escape the reaches of the villanous Dark Kirby, and was searching for a place to settle down. Dark Kirby eventually found him, and the two began fighting again, causing the whole world to be endangered as Dark Kirby lead an army of soldiers and Demon Beasts. The group befriended Frost, and helped him fight back. Eventually, they managed to defeat him for good, along with his master he was working under.
Throughout the years, the group of friends became larger as they befriended more people. And without Dark Kirby to worry about, things were carefree. But every now and then, they bumble into something suspicious and pry into it, soon realizing that they are getting involved in something far more dangerous than they originally thought.
The story as it stands now, is about the group's adventures. They subtly refer to themselves as "The Gang". They, for the most part, live carefree lives in Green Flower City. But various incidents drive them into perilous situations.
History of the Roleplays
The Roleplays first started out around the year 2006, when the first Sonic roleplay of the series began, and is still ongoing to this day with three whole seasons with 53 episodes.
Most of the characters already knew eachother. However, The majority of the earliest roleplays could scarcely be considered "Canon" to the series. Still, many things that happened in the past are crucial to the present settings.
For example, A Kirby Character made a crossover with the Sonic characters in an accident, and ended up living on Sonic's planet ever since. Because of that, The conflict between him and his nemisis ended up getting everyone else involved in their own war, which quite literally went on for 4 years. Frost finally lead an all out attack to defeat his lifelong enemy, Dark Kirby. Smash The Echidna helped in leading it. Thus was the beginning of The Final Nightmare, and the end of the second season of the roleplays. Afterwards began the third, which is the current season. The first season went on for both the years 2006 to 2007. The second was from 2008 to 2009. The third began in early 2010. With the main villain of the series dead, it was unknown what kind of hardships might await them.
The first season's episodes are vaguely remembered. Although there were a few unforgettable events and "incidents", which were rather ridiculous at the least. For the most part, the first season was uncanon.
The Second Season was not too from the first season until around 2009, when characters began to get fixed and/or recreated, some characters were dropped, and others reduced to mere side characters. It was then when we realized: It's time for Dark Kirby to go. And that was when the Final Nightmare began. Many of the second season's episodes are vaguely remembered as well. Although more of the episodes were considered canon in comparision to the first season.
The Third Season, although it has only just begun, is like a breath of fresh air. Every roleplay in it is officially canon except for those specially specified as "Non-Canon", such as parodies or other crossovers irrelevent to the main story or contradicting to the series settings. It was also the first season to give out names to the roleplays without special cases. Not counting "The Final Nightmare", for that got it's name after the third season begun. After the third season began, all the previous roleplays had gotten names.
The seasons have been rearranged. Both seasons 1 and 2 have merged, and season 3 was split in half, the first half going up to Splice The Hedgehog is now Season 2, and the rest up to Memories of David The Echidna is Season 3. What lies in store for Season 4 is unknown. However, the first episode is confirmed to be a Sprite Comic.

Speedy and the Babysitter.
This was the first of the prequel episodes. The prequels were made to fill in the blanks of the character's pasts, after several episodes were thrown away as Non-Canon. Speedy, a young hegehog at about 8 years of age, lived in Green Flower City. One day, his parents were going to leave for the day, and they hired a babysitter to look after him. When the sitter finally came, Speeder and Meryll, his parents, left the house. The babysitter was a cat, possibly in her mid 20's. She apparently worked at an orphanage in town, so she was used to taking care of children. When asked what he wanted to do, Speedy said that whenever his cousin Phil came over, they would play sword fights with sticks. And so they did. Speedy had his trusty stick, while Linda, the babysitter, used a mop. They fought for a while, and Linda was actually pretty good at it. Speedy then thought that she was probably the most awesome babysitter that he'd ever have. They had to stop when they heard the phone ringing. Apparently it was from Linda's daughter, Lucy, who called for unknown reasons. Later, Linda went into the kitchen to make a dessert for them. They agreed on brownies, and Linda went right to work. However, that was when the trouble began. She obviously did not know what she was doing in the kitchen. She put several unecessary things in the mixing bowl, including things that no one in their right minds would even think about putting in brownies. She also dumped a pound of sugar into it. Speedy was practically mortified at the sight, and regretted thinking that she was awesome and now started wondering if she was actually trying to kill him or not. When it was ready, She ate it with no problem. Speedy on the other hand, felt like barfing just by looking at it. The brownies were discolored and gooey. And very oddly shaped.
Finally, Speedy's parents came home. They thanked Linda for babysitting, and were offered some brownies. Speeder, Speedy's father, was more than happy to dig in. He helped himself to three servings, while Speedy watched in horror. Meryll on the other hand, was wondering why Speedy didn't eat any-and why they were already out of sugar when they'd just bought some the previous day. Speedy told her everything he saw, and Meryll at first didn't believe him until she saw how the brownies were...different from normal. After Linda left, she was a bit more skeptical about hiring her again. Being a Prequel, it was very well done.
Although a pretty short episode. Compared to the later ones, this could have been seen as a short skit of some sort. Especially since it seemingly had nothing to do with the main story. Although showing Linda talking to Lucy over the phone, that was a good touch of foreshadowing.
Enter: The Blitz Pit
Another Prequel episode. About a year later, Speeder won the lottery (and got a good scolding from his wife about gambling) and took everybody to go and watch a tournament at the famous fighting arena: The Blitz Pit. He invited his friend, Vincent, and his family to come along as well. Speedy was very excited to go. And when Vincent arrived, they headed off to the Blitz Pit. Vincent had a daughter named Violet, who was around the same age as Speedy. She was a little bit shy at first, but she soon opened up and became friends with Speedy. He was actually the first friend she had ever made. Soon, they arrived at the Blitz Pit. They used up their tickets and headed for the stadium's audience to get their seats. The first battle they watched was a little exciting, except for the fact that they got there a little late and missed over half of it. The second battle was also pretty good. It featured some guy vs the youngest fighter ever to enter the Blitz Pit. 15 year old Smash The Echidna had entered his first tournament, and was fighting as hard as he could to win. Something about him sparked Speedy's interest, and he decided to cheer for him. Violet caught a glimpse of someone selling hot dogs in the crowd, and decided to get one for Speedy and herself. Meanwhile, Speedy was having trouble watching because of a large sweaty person behind him cheering loudly, and quite obnoxiously. Eventually while watching, Speedy met up with Linda again, and got a chance to meet her daughter, Lucy. Lucy was about a year older than Speedy, but she acted almost as if she were 4 years younger than him. Her manners of speech were still childish, as if she were still learning how to talk. Nevertheless, they became friends.
Soon, the tournament ended with The Shining Knight as the victor. Smash had lost in the second round. While everyone was leaving, Speedy noticed Smash near the entrance, buying himself a soda from a vending machine. He walked over to say hello, and talked about the tournament. Soon, his sister arrived and joined the conversation. Her name was Pearl. And even sooner, the same obnoxious man from before came and started begging for Smash's autograph, and eventually started to attract a small crowd when he mentioned autographs. He also ended up meeting Lucy and Violet, and one of them insisted that they all hang out sometime. Smash was kinda weirded out, and uncomfortable after the man hovered over him about the autographs, but he agreed. After that, they all split up to go home.
Here is where things began to pick up, bringing more of the original cast into the story. This episode showed even more references to the newer episodes. Such as the Hot dog stand guy from The Blitz Pit World Tournament. The Shining Knight along with The Berserker, two fighters from the same episode. And Smash was getting himself some 7up. He's known to like that soda.
A New Beginning
Another timeskip in the prequels. Lucy spots a moving truck driving by, and insists that Speedy, Violet and Smash follow it with her. Speedy and Violet were excited about someone moving in. Smash didn't seem to care much, but he followed anyway. They followed the truck all the way to the southern outskirts of town. (the truck was moving slowly, and made a lot of stops, which is how they were able to keep up.) Soon, it stopped at an empty house at the southern outskirts of the city. While they were heading over there, they met another cat like Lucy. Lucy introduced her to them as her friend, Tab. But despite Lucy's urges to say hello, Tab didn't say anything. She looked rather surly, too.
The driver then got out to unload the truck as a car soon parked in the driveway. Lucy was so excited, she ran up to the car window and waved at them, only to be dragged away by Smash and Speedy. When the movers got out of their car, Smash apologized as much as he could for Lucy's behavior. The movers, coincidentally, was a family of cats. Two parents and one boy, who seemed very depressed about something. Speedy tried to say hello, hoping to possibly befriend him without making himself look weird, but the boy barely shrugged it off before going inside to put his own stuff away. After that, Lucy helped herself to one of the things in the moving truck to put it inside. Smash scolded her, and told her that they should ask first. Lucy went and walked right inside, before remembering that she should knock first. She closed the door and rang the doorbell again. The door was opened by the father, who looked confused. Smash, quite embarrassed, offered to help bring in the boxes and the rest of the stuff. After getting the approval, he went and helped unload, along with Speedy. Meanwhile Violet failed to get a single word out of Tab, and soon gave up. After they finished unloading everything, the father thanked them. Lucy suddenly blurted out that she wanted to go to the beach. Everyone else seemed to be okay with it, and Lucy offered the boy to come along as well. After thinking about it, he decided that he'd ask his mom first. Smash decided to offer them all to go, considering that it must have been a long drive and they need some kind of break. The family agreed, and thanked Smash for his thoughtfulness. The boy introduced himself as Gizmo The Cat.
The beach was in walking distance, so they went on foot. When they arrived, everyone let loose and scattered about to do various things. Lucy and Tab went to make a sand castle. Speedy collected shells with Violet, and Smash went swimming. Gizmo was also creating his own sand castle, but he later disappeared from everyone's sight. A bit later, Smash saw a green hedgehog girl jump out of the water and then thank the ocean for giving her a good swim. He decided it would be best to not ask anything about it.
Moments before it was time to go, Gizmo had found something washed ashore. As he got closer, he realized that it was a chao. Picking it up, he soon found out that the unconscious chao had cat ears, not caused by a small animal. The chao was alive, but wasn't in very good condition. He decided to take him home with him. The group soon split up as it was time to go home.
This episode pieced together nearly all the last bits that needed to be connected that made The Gang what it is now. Meeting Tab, Gizmo and his family, Gizmo finding Kitty, and Lily coming out of the ocean brings out several theoretical questions. There's only one thing left...
A Warrior from the Stars
A completely unseen episode, which has happened some time ago. The exact events that transpired are unclear, but the main facts remain the same. Later that year, a mysterious starship crashed landed near the city. Inside it was a small, cyan puffball donning a long blue cap with a star at the end of it. It was revealed that he was from a completely different galaxy, fleeing from the clutches of the evil Dark Kirby. He was looking for a place to call home, in hopes of staying away from him and living a normal life. At first everyone is a bit skeptical about him, but he is soon accepted as one of them. It turns out that he was a retired soldier of a group of resistance against an evil army that threatened to conquer the entire galaxy. He was retired because they had lost the war, and what little survivors remained were scattered about the galaxy. Including him, who had left his original home due to it being under the control of the enemy. He lived on another planet, but even then he still had trouble, and ended up leaving everything behind by leaving the galaxy altogether, in hopes of starting anew. But unfortunately, some stray mooks from his enemy followed him. They damaged his ship, and he was forced to make an emergency landing, which didn't end as well as he had hoped. Although he was accepted into the city, he was afraid that since the enemy didn't come to check on him to see if he survived, they might later. And there would be trouble.
This was originally supposed to happen near the end of the now cancelled fangame, "Frost's Adventure: A Warrior's Tale." Since the game was cancelled, there were no other real resources for this episode other than the written story of the game. However, it is still very important, as this begins what is now known as "The Dark Kirby Saga". There would have been a prequel episode of it, but the story was already set; there was no need.
Smash and Pearl The Echidna's: Ace Detectives. [Smash Only]
This is where the prequels left off. From here on, are the episodes that were created years ago up until now. This episode showed a lot more personality to Smash and gave Pearl a bigger role for once. The RP sprung up from a fanfiction written by another person, which turned into a private roleplay for a time as Smash and Pearl investigated a mystery of a murder. They pretty much already knew what happened, but they needed to figure out how and why, and get evidence against the culprit. Basically, They broke through the fourth wall of the story and into the private RP to investigate, and then afterwards, the RP stopped and the fanfiction continued-with Smash and Pearl's evidence at hand.
Most of the elements of the story can be considered Canon, but a lot of the plot elements of the whole story cannot. So the RP itself is considered Canon if some things were to change.
Kyle The Wandering Hedgehog [Smash Only]
This was Kyle's debut. Kyle was actually created on the same day as the character he met with on the roleplay. This was basically a roleplay to introduce the characters on both sides and for them to meet and get along. Incidentially, the other character is currently his girlfriend. Many events happened along the way, and Kyle showed his heroic side as he rescued her from a very disturbing creature in a cave, and fought it off before it escaped into the public.
This roleplay had a few very important events in it. It is fully canon.
Dark Kirby Strikes
One of the many roleplays concerning Frost and Dark Kirby. The exact events that transpired are not fully known. Infact, nobody really remembers this episode. But It did happen at one point. It is canon.
Speedy's Birthday Party
Another roleplay about Speedy's birthday, only a little more focused on the celebrations. This episode revealed a little more about Speedy and Violet's feelings for eachother, Especially Violet's as she actually admitted to someone that she liked him. It was overall a great day for Speedy. Although, when it was time to open the presents, There was a little squabble over who's present would be opened last. Violet and Lily were arguing over it. Violet insisted that she gave her's last because it was something very special, but Lily insisted for the same reason or others. Eventually Violet ended up giving her's last. Her gift was a golden locket with a heart shape, inside of it was a picture of her and Speedy together at Hedgehog Park. A gift that Violet gave from the bottom of her heart. As for Lily, she just sulked out the house, not even giving him her present...
This episode is mostly canon. It was Speedy's birthday, and the gift from Violet was important to the developing bond between them, and this happened to be the birthday where Speedy got his first chao. However, Lily's attitude can hardly be considered acceptable. With the way her character has been changed so much since then, it's impossible that she could have acted like that.
This began the whole "saga" at Crystal's house. There were many more than what was listed, however, they posed no real signifigance to be fully remembered. This was yet, another birthday episode, celebrating Crystal The Fox's birthday. She invited all of her friends, however Shade invited himself over. During the party, Crystal was given a strange striped chao egg as a birthday present...
This episode holds a bit of importance, if not lacking in the substance department. It's safe to say that this is canon.
The Birth of Light the Hero Chao
This Roleplay began directly after Crystal's Birthday. The chao egg hatched, and a blue chao with yellow highlights emerged from it. Of course, Crystal is a sweet young girl, and influenced him to become a Hero Chao, and named him Light. Shade on the other hand, (who was still "inviting himself over") tried to get him to turn to a dark chao. In the end, Light turned into a hero chao. Shade started to get jealous of Light, seeing how he always got all the attention from Crystal and Krysi, her first chao.
That's what parts of the story have been kept and are canon. There was more to the roleplay which actually ruined Light's character. Light, being a Hyper Hero Chao, was one of the last of his dying kind. His parents had apparently died and left his egg alone-complete with a list next to his egg with his name and all his powers that he had inherited from his parents. That half is obviously Non-Canon trash. Light has been reduced down to just a normal Hero chao. However, he still has a super form...
As Light grew up and got the most attention in the house, Shade was definitely jealous of him. He always barged in and tried to get the better of Light, and always got kicked out of the house because he didn't live there. Shade ended up taking it all out on poor Light. This started up a rivalry between them, as Light stood up to him. Their childish fights and arguments were rather classic. No one can forget the Thanksgiving Dinner fight, where Shade and Light were launching peas and candied yams at eachother with spoons and sword fighting with whole turkey legs. This episode also introduced the new chao, Sharp. He posed no real relevence to the story, but, like Shade, he sort of welcomed himself into Crystal's home. However, he had something that Shade didn't. Manners.
This episode was too outrageously hilarious to let go. Canon all the way. The only part that should be left out is Sharp, as he was one of the dropped characters. He didn't have much importance to the story so it bears no grave impact with his removal.
The Darker Side of Shade
Somewhere among the line of rivalry, Shade finally snapped. He snuck into Crystal's bedroom at midnight with an axe and tried to kill Light. Fortunately, he was caught in the act. He was officially banned from the house ever since. No one even let him peek inside the house after that incident. This is when Crystal's hatred towards Shade began. Sooner or later, Shade stopped caring about Light or Crystal, and just moved on.
This episode was around the end of the Crystal Saga. It might be safe to call it canon. But with Shade's character development since then, it may or may not be accepted.
A Journey To The Past
After getting banned from Crystal's house, Shade just stuck with Kitty. Kitty was a lot more tolerant to Shade, and the two had become buddies a while back. Although Kitty liked to hang out with Crystal's chao, Krysi, a lot. Shade may or may not have minded that fact after the previous incidents. Kitty didn't even know about that.
At one time when the three were hanging out together, Shade brought up the question of Kitty's origins. Kitty was the first Cat Chao Shade had ever seen. Kitty ended up telling him about his past; How he used to live on Cat Chao Island, being the former prince of the Cat Chao, heir to the throne of the entire island, being chased out by the chao hunters and nearly killed during the process, losing his mother to the chao hunters and most of the other Cat Chao being taken to laboratories, and getting shipwrecked while trying to escape. Shade and Krysi were rather taken by his story. Further questioning to it lead to investigations. They left without telling anyone to go and find the Lost Island of the Cat Chao. They did, and they found that other chao had apparently moved in at the time. After looking around there, They began to search the seas for, at the very least, clues as to where the rest of the Cat Chao were taken. Eventually, they found a few of them, as well as Kitty's father, King Katler. They infiltrated a laboratory conducting experiments on chao, and rescued everyone in there. After bringing them back to Green Flower City, Katler decided to start anew, and began construction on the Cat Chao Garden.
This episode was extremely important in all aspects. There is no way that this could be Non-Canon.
The Loss of a Friend [Smash Only]
A rather short roleplay. It actually never did get finished, but the concept of it was enough. Smash and Pearl got to see an old friend from a much older story. Jenny The Hedgehog. (Which was actually the fanfic that brought up "Smash and Pearl: Ace Detectives") Jenny had her own Sonic Heroes styled team. Unfortunately, the happy reunion was cut short as they told them bad news. Tina The Echidna, the power type of the team, had passed away. She was killed in a battle against Dr. Eggman. Smash and Pearl were shocked. After talking for a while, they left to investigate more on what actually happened. They eventually ran into Dr. Eggman, who seemed a lot more devious that usual. Smash was more bent on revenge than asking him what really happened, and attacked him. He drove him away after giving him a severe beating by himself.
Only a few minor aspects about this episode can be considered Non-Canon. The rest of it is Canon.
Clay's Awakening [Smash and Hyper Only]
A mysterious hedgehog, sleeping soundly since old times, finally awoken by an accident and found himself in a desert. He met with quite a few people at the time of his awakening. Including Shade, Kyle and Keela. He was a curious one, but everyone else was more curious about him than he was curious about his location. As the mystery of Clay unfolded, They eventually came to battle with his nemisis and twin brother, Xiao. As their journey went on, A small romance started up between Clay and Keela...
For the most part, This episode is Canon. However, It can't be said whether or not Clay and Keela will still be a couple.
Smash's Grandma, Rose.
After having a small get-together with his friends, Smash recieves a letter in the mail from his grandmother. She wanted to come visit him and Pearl. She was going to arrive the very next day. Looking at the condition of his house, he was distressed to see how much work they would have to do to clean up after their little party earlier. The Gang agreed to help straighten up, and they spent the whole day working. Soon, the time came when his grandmother arrived. She was a kind, elderly lady who got along well with Smash's friends. He was a bit nervous at first, but he was glad to see her after several years.
Not a very important episode, but it was a nice change of pace to introduce a relative of Smash's into the story. This episode is Canon.
The Voyages of Thunder The Hedgehog [Smash Only]
The first roleplay ever to star Thunder, Captain of the Thunder Bolt. This RP introduced Estrella Marina the Hedgehog, who is now his girlfriend. After returning from a sailing trip, Thunder and his brothers, Lightning, Electric, and Zap, were heading home. Zap ended up falling through a broken plank in the wooden docks and, while he was halfway stuck through the floor, noticed a couple of thugs trying to kidnap a girl. After being helped out of the hole, he told his brothers that someone was in trouble, and rushed to her aid. He unfortunately could not phase any of the thugs, but Electric took over and drove them away. After making sure that the girl was alright, she introduced herself as to being Estrella Marina the Hedgehog. They decided to talk while at their house, as they needed to get home and also wanted to question her about the thugs.
It turned out that the thugs work for some sort of organization which experimented on animals, and often resulted in mutating them. She was an escaped subject and they were trying to get her back. They later learned that because she escaped, all the other subjects were mutated into monsters, leading most of them to want to kill her for it. Thunder vowed to protect her and to put a stop to the organization. There were facilities all over the world. Conveniently, it has always been Thunder's dream to sail across the entire world, and write a book about his voyages. However, Thunder did not start right away. Although he did take out one facility, which was when he learned about several others across the world.
This is very canon, and actually could be linked to other plots. Considering both backstories for both Estrella and Thunder, their meeting may have been fate...
Jenny's Death [Smash Only]
An extremely short roleplay, but it was very important. Smash got the unfortunate news that his old friend, Jenny, had died. She was killed in a battle in space. She had been battling a mysterious organization, but lost to them and it cost her life. Smash was shocked, and of course grieved for her death. He wanted to go out and investigate more, but he had no where to begin...
This is very canon. In fact, It's extremely important that this is canon.
Smash The Echidna and Luna The Hedgehog's Wedding
This came very close to the end of Season 2, and was around when most people had gotten remade. It's exactly what it sounds like. Smash had finally proposed to his girlfriend, and they had their wedding. Everyone was invited. Speedy was Smash's best man, and Zap was the ring bearer. It all went smoothly. Smash even made up with Sam, his old rival and currently his brother-in-law. It also showed the growing relationship between his future son and Lina The Cat. (A different one than Gizmo's friend.)
This episode is obviously canon, and important.
It was the middle of winter, just a little bit after Smash got his new house when he married, and snow had covered the entire city. Everyone took the time off to play in the snow and enjoy themselves. They had classic snowball fights, built snow forts, snowmen, and had hot chocolate at the end of the day. Speedy attempted to make a whole snow castle, and Violet had secretly built a catapult to launch snowballs at people.
It was just another one of those casual days. There is nothing wrong with those. This episode is completely canon. Except for the part about two characters who made their first appearance who were made of pure fire and pure ice. That was a no.
The Remaining Galaxy Soldiers
The time was drawing near. Frost had gotten in contact with Meta Knight and a few survivors from the Galaxy Soldier Army. He began to round them up so that they could all meet up on Mobius, where they could fight together to finish Dark Kirby off for good, or atleast keep everyone safe from him. They had a very small space station as a rendezvous, where they had their meetings. They soon began to build a new base on Mobius after everyone arrived. However, Dark Kirby found out, and he attacked them before they could finish. And prior to that, he destroyed their space station and intentionally had it crash down on Mobius. Fortunately it was a small one only big enough to cover up a single area in Green Flower City. Dark Kirby chased the galaxy soldiers around with his army and a pack of Demon Beasts, sent from Holy Nightmare co. (Of course, because he works there.) It was a dark time for the Galaxy Soldiers. Everyone managed to team up and fend them off. The city was in shambles though, and they had to quickly repair everything before they decided to come back at full force.
This is definitely canon. It's just one of those "Near the End of the season" type of important episodes.
The End of the World? [Smash Only]
One of the darker roleplays. Smash, Kyle, Keela, and Marina The Echidna were spending some quality time with eachother. They soon got the news that strange creatures were invading. They went out to investigate and confronted the creatures. After several frightening events, Including finding out that the creatures had taken over a few cities and even possessed Sonic for a time, Smash and his friends discovered a box inside of a temple. After taking it out and opening it, he was shocked to find a girl inside. At that instant, more of the creatures attacked, and Smash and Kyle was forced to fight them off while trying to protect the girl who was still unconscious. The girl then woke up, and saw him and his friends fighting, and-to their surprise-transformed into a sword for Kyle to use. Kyle was shocked at first, but then used the sword to fight them off. After the battle, the team left to find a safe place to regroup. The girl transformed back into her original form and told him her name. She was Amerie, but her history was still a mystery to them. She agreed to help them out. Afterwards, Kyle saught to find the source of the creatures and put an end to them once and for all, while Smash had gone to check on other people and make sure that they were safe.
The roleplay is still in progress. There is no real reason to discredit this as Canon. It is officially canon.
Gizmo and Kyla The Cats [Smash Only]
Another roleplay starring Gizmo. The whole purpose of the Roleplay was to give Gizmo a mate, but ended up becoming much more interesting as Gizmo learned of Kyla's past, and investigated the strange reactions between the Power Crystal and Kyla's necklace. It started out as Gizmo watching a motorbike race at the stadium. While he was watching, One of the bikers had an accident and totally wrecked her bike. Gizmo was shocked at the sudden crash and stared at the wreckage. He then realized that the other racers were going to come back and hit her. He sprung into action and carried her out of the racetrack before she could get run over. She was still alive, but pretty badly hurt. Since he had nowhere else to go, he took her to his house to recover. He also took the remains of her bike to see if he could fix it. Unfortunately, it was all a pile of scrap metal. So, after studying a bit on the motorbikes, he managed to create one of his own. The girl came to while he was still polishing it up, and was rather surprised about the whole thing. But overall, she was very grateful towards Gizmo. She was also incredibly impressed with Gizmo's custom motorbike. The two of them became fast friends, and ended up falling for eachother.
This episode is Canon.
Metal [Smash Only]
An unfinished RP. Smash helped to solve the mystery of a missing girl, and soon helped to save her life. He then learned the history of her race, and learned that a war was soon to break out against them. He was prepared to do all that he could to stop them.
It had a much more interesting and fluid story than the summary implies, but it's been so long...There is no reason to discredit this episode, though.
Another one of those casual days. Smash and a few of his friends were hanging out at a mall in Green Flower City, taking a look around and buying a few things. Things had been pretty normal until someone tried to rob the store that they were in. However, the problem was resolved before Smash could do anything about it. All the while, Speedy had been seen doing very bizarre things. Later, they decided to go to Hedgehog Park, as there was a fair being held there. There were a lot of fun games and treats, everyone enjoyed themselves. However, Frost stayed home. He was still worried about Dark Kirby...
This episode held a lot of inside jokes and introduced Shade's cowboy hat. This one's canon, but Speedy's strange antics might not be accepted. There was also another short but classic Light and Shade face off.
The Final Nightmare
This was it. It didn't start out like it sounded like, but it eventually got there. At first, things seemed to be weird. The Space Colony Ark had drifted out of orbit and completely out of sight from the entire planet. Then later, they found out that the Eclipse Cannon had been taken off of it. While investigating, they got horrifying news. They heard that the Chaos Emeralds had gone missing the exact same time Frost heard about Garnet Star, one of the many stars in the Jewel Galaxy somewhere near Frost's home planet, had been completely obliterated. To make matters worse, Frost's companion, Kirbula, was on Garnet Star at the time. Frost later gets a distress call from the Emerald Kingdom. Nightmare's whole space fortress was hovering right over Emerald Star, threatening to destroy the whole planet if they did not surrender to them. They attempted to hold them off, but unfortunately, Not many other people other than the entire population of the Emerald Kingdom were able to escape before Emerald Star suffered the same fate as its neighbor. After failing to save the planet, Frost called a meeting at Smash's house. Smash, at the same time, was ready to call a meeting as well. They gathered up most of their friends, and went to infiltrate the Space Colony Ark, which they had stolen. On their infiltration to the Space Colony Ark to investigate, They were caught by Dark Kirby's soldiers. They managed to fight and get away, and they found a teleportation device leading to the inside of Nightmare's fortress. Using that to infiltrate, they managed to get inside. But they didn't last long before they were caught. They were outnumbered, and thrown in the dungeon. Using their wits and what little resources they had at hand (since all their useful items were taken away, Including the Power Star which Dark Kirby took into his own hands.) They managed to bust out the jail and escape. Unfortunately, They were caught again. Once again, they managed to bust out. This went on for a long while until they were down to the last dungeon. Dark Kirby decided to just kill them all. He had them all lined up for death row in an immediate execution.
Meanwhile, Kyle had been trying to shake off a disturbing spirit that was haunting him--or rather, Stalking him. Eventually, it possessed him and lead him on a long journey. First, it gave him the ability to fly up into space. He stole the Chaos Emeralds from the Eclipse Cannon and left undetected. Then, he began a journey starting on Jade Coast. A few of Kyle's friends such as Violet and a few others, followed him in concern because he didn't answer them and he had a very spacy look in his eyes. After following him for a long time, He apparently was unlocking the 7 Mystic Temples to open the gate to the Mystic Realm. Once they got through the portal leading to the road to the Mystic Realm: Prismatic Angel Zone, Kyle finally turned around to face them at the alter leading to the Mystic Realm. The spirit possessing him spoke to them through Kyle's body, telling them that Kyle must come with him to the forbidden city to unleash doom upon the living. He then left Kyle's body, leaving him out of breath, confused, and disoriented. He repeated what he said and ordered Kyle to come with him. Kyle of course refused, and fought him. The rest of his friends joined in on the battle and managed to drive off the spirit temporarily.
They left back to the main lands, and Violet told them all about what happened to her before she started following Kyle. Apparently, Speedy had gone missing. Speeder, Speedy's father, had called him and recieved no answer. Speedy was really locked up in the dungeon at this time. They began a search party and soon found out about the infiltration of Nightmare's fortress. Seeing how Speedy never replied, They figured that they all must have been in danger. However, Neither one of them had any means of space travel. This left Kyle with no choice. He used the power of the Chaos Emeralds to turn super. He flew into space, and went all the way to the fortress. (Of course, he had to ask for directions there by one of the people who stayed behind) After some time of flying, he finally managed to make it to the fortress. He landed inside of the hangar, just in time to revert back to normal after exhausting his power. He wanted to take a rest, but his friends lives were in danger. Fortunately, one of his friends just so happened to be in the hangar. Speedy somehow managed to escape the executions that were about to be brought out. Speedy was shocked to find Kyle, but Kyle was relieved to find Speedy. Speedy quickly filled him in on what was going on, and hijacked a space ship in the hangar. Kyle joined him, rather frightened since Speedy went at full speed through the entire fortress to the large room where they were holding the "Mass Murder". He started shooting the troops like crazy, managed to get everybody crammed inside of the ship alive, and busted out of the fortress and headed home as fast as he could. It was shocking to everyone that they managed to get out without killing anyone that they were trying to save--or themselves, for that matter.
Once they got back home, Smash and Frost were about ready to go all out. They gathered up everybody. The remaining Galaxy Soldiers, All of their friends, Everyone they knew pretty much. They all gathered up and had a huge meeting at Smash's house. Smash, Tab, and Frost came up with a plan together. One team would go all out and attack head on, The other will sabatoge the Eclipse Canon and get it to fire at itself, destroying the entire thing. The last team will infiltrate the back of the fortress at the right moment and take out the engines and main reactor. It was a solid plan, and the next day they set out for the final battle. They went through with the plan. The people who went head on didn't get off to a good start. They were ambushed before they could even get out their ship. they stayed inside for a long time, waiting for everyone else to get ready. Once they got the signal, they busted out and attacked with full force. The battle was incredibly dangerous. They were drastically outnumbered. When things were looking grim, Gizmo lead the infiltration team to the back and took out the main reactor by completely blowing it up with the help of Speedy, Shade, Icicle, and Kitty. It was a close call, because the explosion took out the entire area and they had to escape before they were taken down with it. The huge explosion completely threw off the army, and that gave Smash and Frost their chance to run into the room with the Eclipse Cannon. They aimed it at the right position and got it ready to fire, while everyone else was to evacuate immediately. The moment it fired, They removed all seven of the Chaos Emeralds and retrieved the Power Star from the cannon and escaped. And with that, the cannon fire reversed back to the fortress as planned and wiped out the entire army.
It was a huge relief at the end. The episode was full of drama and suspense. Of course this was considered Canon. It's just a shame that they didn't fight Dark Kirby or Nightmare head on for the climax of the season.
In the dead of the night, everyone in the forest was sleeping peacefully, as they should. Until a loud explosion shook the forest. Startled and frightened, A young cat went to investigate the commotion. She eventually came across a gigantic crater in the ground, smoke still rising from it. A few other people had come to see what had happened as well, but she was one of the first. Down in the very center of the crater was a glittering object. Carefully climbing down inside, She picked up the object and examined it. It appeared to be a bizarre looking Chaos Emerald. Not knowing what else to do with it, she took it with her and headed home.
The next morning began with excitement. Speedy was inviting everyone to board a plane to go and celebrate his cousin Phil's birthday party. Of course, after dealing with the events occuring in "The Final Nightmare" about a week before, They were happy to have a break of some sort. Everyone began packing and getting ready for the big party. However, Smash didn't get off to a good start in the morning. A red streak breezed by the window of his house, leaving him to be a bit confused as to what could possibly go that fast and was red. Suddenly, it came back and came inside of his house uninvited. It was Speedy, although something was wrong about him. He was acting a lot more goofy and bumbling than he usually did, and he didn't knock either. After a couple of sentences, he walked straight for the refridgerator and started to complain about how he didn't have hotlinks. Smash started to tell him off, but then that very instant, Another Speedy came inside. He peeked inside and walked in because the door was left wide open and he wanted to ask Smash about what was going on with it, and to invite him to Phil's birthday party. When the two Speedy's saw eachother, they were completely baffled, and in less than 5 seconds began to argue over who the real Speedy was. Smash was at a loss for words. He tried to calm them both down so that he could figure out just what was going on.
Around the same time, Gizmo met someone named Wave the Cat who claimed that he lived right across the street from him. However, Gizmo lives on the outskirts of town and there is no house near enough to him to be considered neighbors. No house across the road included. Gizmo was confused beyond belief.
Eventually, when Speedy was about to leave to his cousin's party, he was attacked outside his house by a mysterious spirit--the same spirit that possessed Kyle. Although Speedy's parents couldn't believe it, they knew that something had happened because Speedy was injured. They postponed their trip to investigate just what happened, and let Speedy recover. Through further investigation, they learned of the crash the previous night and ended up coming across Amber the Cat in the forest. Upon first meeting her, she was rather shy and didn't open up to them. But when Smash explained the current situation they were in, she decided to cooperate. She showed them the strange emerald, and the "other" Speedy told them that emerald was a normal Chaos Emerald. He then started to explain how things should be, but this place was completely different. Through serious deductions, Smash came to the conclusion that the other Speedy and the mysterious Chaos Emerald were from an alternate parallel dimension. How and why they were here on the other hand was anyone's guess.
They later found out that the alternate emerald had a scary reaction to the Master Emerald. Although Knuckles didn't really like it, he allowed them to investigate the reaction. The first time they tried, a huge amount of Chaos Energy was focusing in one spot and blew Smash down the stairs of the shrine. He tried again and managed to withstand the energy, the next thing he knew, he and the other Speedy were transported to the alternate dimension--proving Smash's theory correct. While there, Smash got to see everything that the other Speedy was talking about. It all seemed so wrong, but he pressed on. Apparently a chaos emerald had gotten lost in the dimension, and Smash had to find it and bring it back with him. Afterwards, he returned back to his dimension. Hopefully things had gone back to normal. However, he was wrong on so many levels.
Things began to get thrown back and forth between dimensions at an alarming rate, and they encountered the same spirit again. And this time he spoke. He was known as Acura Mustang, someone from the alternate dimension. He somehow discovered how to travel through the dimensions, but in order to do that he needed to become a spirit. When he came to the other side, he found that his role on the other side of the parallel dimensions had been replaced by Speedy. And because of that, He needed Speedy to die. No one really understood that, but they didn't want him to kill Speedy, so they tried to fight him. He escaped after a few minutes of battling. They investigated more on Acura and found out that on the other side, he was a very wise and respected scholor, until he learned too much and eventually went crazy and left. No one on their side ever saw him again, until now. Later, It turned out that he was using The Mystic Realm, a realm between dimensions, to merge the two dimensions together. Thus resulting in a huge catastophe. They managed to reach The Mystic Realm and challenge him. It was a tough battle, but they defeated him. Upon defeating him, they sealed the Mystic Realm back and returned the dimensions back to normal.
Smash The Echidna: Target of Assasination!?
Finally, they were getting ready to head out to Phil's birthday party. Things were back to normal, and everyone was getting together. They were finally ready to leave. At the airport, as they were checking in, Smash noticed two people staring at him and whispering to eachother, then walk away quickly. This slightly disturbed Smash, but Speedy shrugged it off, saying that they were probably gossiping or just fans of him because he fights at the Blitz Pit. Gossiping about him didn't really make Smash feel better, but he decided it wasn't too important. A bit later while they were waiting for the plane to arrive, he saw the two people again walk by, look at him, then walk away. Smash started to feel a bit uneasy. And finally, when they were boarding the plane, he saw the same two people somewhere behind him whispering and pointing at him. Smash suspected that they were stalking him. When they got on the plane and got on their seats, Smash saw the same two people get on the plane and walk past him. They looked at him as they walked past. Smash gave them both a stern look as they walked past, and then told the others that something felt wrong. The same two people seemed to be stalking him, and if they were fans they would have spoken up before. Moments later, before the plane took off, A couple of security guards were seen hauling the same two people out of the plane. Smash immediately got up and asked to know what was going on. The guards said that they got on the plane without tickets. Smash's heart sank. They were most certainly stalking him. But for what reason? He returned to his seat seeing that he couldn't do anything else at the time.
Later, while they were still in the air, A panic could be heard from the pilot's room. They gave an announcement saying that they had to make an emergency landing on a nearby island, due to engine damage. Smash gasped and looked out the window. There was smoke coming from the turbine on his side. Fortunately, they managed to land safely. Smash and his friends immediately got out the plane to talk to the crew about what was going on. They said that the turbine had been badly damaged and that they would need a replacement. Smash walked over to it and checked it, and was shocked when he found a brick stuck inside of it. He wedged it out and showed the people what he found. It was disturbing to all of them, but Smash was most disturbed. The repairs and replacements would take a while to complete, so Smash and the rest of them went to check out the island, however Gizmo and Frost stayed behind to help out with the plane. While out exploring, Speedy, Violet and Lily went into a souviner shop, and Speedy bought a funny top hat with a tongue sticking out of it, and a necklace for Violet since he noticed that she looked interested in buying it. Smash went to get a snack and check out the hotel that they would be staying in for the night.
That night, Smash and Speedy were walking around the hotel before they went to their rooms. Smash noticed two people look at him and start whispering to eachother, then walk away. Smash pointed that out to Speedy and said that something was still very wrong. But he would investigate later since he was supposed to check into his room. Moments later, they all went into their assigned rooms. Smash found out that his room had a serious water problem. The water sinks were backing up and there was nasty black stuff coming out the faucet and the shower, not to mention his tub was frighteningly filthy. He demanded another room. The girls seemed to be content with their room. However, Frost and Gizmo found a pink squid lying dead in the tub, and demanded another room. (or rather, Frost demanded another hotel, but they settled for another room.) Later that night, A bunch of commotion could be heard from Speedy's room. There was a spider on one of their beds and it frightened everyone. It then introduced the fact that Speedy's family has a large fear for spiders. After being woken up from the screaming, Smash didn't go right back to bed. He went outside to catch a bit of fresh air. While he was out there, Smash heard a bit of commotion coming from the lounge. He looked in there and found the same two people arguing about something about something they knocked over. But when they saw him, they immediately stood infront of it and said that nothing was wrong. Smash played convinced and pretended to walk away, but then peeked back in to the room. They definitely seemed suspicious. He quickly walked away and pretended to be examining a soda machine when they walked out the room. They looked at him strangely, then left. "We're onto eachother" were the exact thoughts that ran through Smash's mind as he slit his eyes at them while they walked away. He then walked back outside to relax and think about the situation. While he was standing outside, leaning on the wall of the building, His sister came out and told him that she found a very weird looking fly and caught it. Smash took it into his hands and examined it. It certainly looked like a fly, but it was hard. It was made of metal. Smash decided to take it to Gizmo to see if he could figure out what it was. When he got to Gizmo's room, he woke him up and asked him to look at it. Gizmo was reluctant since he was half sleep. But he woke right up when the fly flew right out of Smash's hand and buzzed around their faces frantically before flying out the window. Smash knew that it was definitely not a fly, and had a pretty good feeling he knew what it was.
The next morning, There was a huge riot going on in the plaza. Smash went to check it out and found that someone poured cement all over the local flower garden. The people were furious about it. Smash found this extremely strange and went to investigate. Upon investigating, one of his friends found a man snooping around the plaza and said that he snuck into the alleyway. They went after him to see what he was up to. While following him through the alleyway, they came to a corner. When they turned, the man was gone. They searched the entire area but couldn't find out where he went. They eventually left to look somewhere else for clues. A bit later, They realized that Flare had gone missing. They went to search for him, and Frost found out that they lost Flare in an alleyway while he was working on the plane and became both furious and frightened, and joined in their search. While inspecting the alleyway again, They suddenly noticed a panic going on throughout the city. The forest that lay right next to the city was on fire. Everyone jumped into action and did what they could to put it out. Once the fire was out, they started to investigate the area to see what started the fire. The whole area was burnt down, but they managed to find something peculiar. It was a burnt piece of metal, but Frost managed to find out what it was. It was the remains of a remote control time bomb. Someone had bombed the forest. And one of Smash's friends had stayed in there for the night, although she was found alright. Smash was now extremely worried. Someone was still after him, even on this island, Flare had gone missing, the forest was burned down and the flower garden was cemented, and the townsfolk's angry eyes were on them. Smash further conducted his investigation, and finally discovered a secret in the alleyway which lead into an underground passage.
Down inside, Smash found a secret hideout, and a bunch of thugs inside discussing something. Flare was also tied up in the room. Smash and his friends quietly devised a plan to get him out, but before they could come up with anything, Someone came into the passage. He saw them and gasped. Frost immediately jumped him and beat him down. This obviously alarmed the thugs in the other room and they started to come out. Everyone hurried out the passageway and made it into the alleyway. However, the thugs caught up to them. Smash stepped forward and told them that he knew everything. He knew that they were trying to kill him and demanded to know why, and why they kidnapped his friend. They said that a lot of money was on his head, and they were just in it for the cash. Smash told them to come and get him, he would take them all on. Everyone else backed him up while Frost made a break for the secret passageway to save Flare. One of the thugs tried to stop him, but Frost killed him and kept going. Smash and everyone else jumped into the fight and took them all on. They were a bit outnumbered, but they managed to defeat them all. The police soon came in to see what was going on and arrested the thugs. However, a few had escaped the scene before the police arrived. Soon afterwards, the townsfolk forgave them for accusing them of all the trouble, and the plane was finally fixed. They gave their final farewells and re-boarded the plane, which took off towards their original destination. Everyone was glad that it was all over, but there was still a problem. Why was there money on Smash's head? Who hired them to kill him? Smash thought that he defeated all of his enemies, but there was still someone who held a grudge.
They finally made it to the party, and gave a thousand apologies for being incredibly late. They didn't seem to believe their excuses, but they just shrugged it off and went along with the party. It was a lot of fun and it took their minds off of the troubles for a while.
When they got back home, Smash had a pending match at the Blitz Pit, and decided to take it on now. A few of his friends came to watch how he did. His match was up against Brian The Hedgehog, A guy who Smash refers to as "A tenacious cream puff.". Smash came into the ring with confidence, however, Brian came in with fury in his eyes. Smash noticed a disturbing difference in his appearance and was immediately set onto the defensive. Once the match began, Brian practically lunged at Smash. He was a lot faster, stronger, tougher, and crazier than he usually was. Smash fought with all he had, but Brian began to overpower him. Smash pulled every trick in the book, and even powered himself up to high tension, yet Brian wouldn't fall. He didn't even seem to get tired. Eventually, Smash exhausted all his strength, and Brian took advantage of him. He literally mopped the floor with him and stomped him into the ground. Smash was barely conscious afterwards. However, he did not want to go to a hospital or be escorted out of the arena. He went back home by himself. The moment he got back though, he collapsed on the couch and told his friends about what was happened. He suspected that something happened to Brian, and they needed to investigate for him. He physically could not move any more. Frost used the Power Star to heal him, but he still needed rest. On a previous mystery, they had discovered a thieves guild in Green Flower City. They decided to pay it another visit to see if anything was going on. They found out that there were thieves from here who were out on that island that they landed on first who got arrested. They left and decided to see what was going on with Brian. They caught a glimpse of him talking to two thugs, one of them they recognized as one from the island. They managed to hear a bit of what was going on, and it was evident that he was the one who hired them. He appeared to want to fire them now. They told Smash about what they found out. Smash immediately got up, disturbed, and checked a picture frame on his table in the livingroom. Brian had previously given him a picture frame as a gift for unknown reasons. Smash discovered a spy camera located on it, and destroyed it immediately. He knew that they were in trouble. Smash said that he was feeling well enough to have a rematch with him. He went into his training room and brought out the seven Chaos Emeralds (on the previous episode, they needed the Chaos Emeralds to get into the Mystic Realm, so thats why he still has them.) and went to Brian's house--Just in time to catch him with a strange bottle, which happened to be a drug.
Smash had finally found out everything. Brian was jealous of him because he never could beat him, and wanted to become Number 1. But with Smash in the way, there was no way he could do that. So he had to have him eliminated. He hired someone to kill him. They tried to make the plane crash or blow up. But that failed, and they landed on an island. He had people positioned there as a plan B to kill him there. They spied on him and tried to blow up one of his friends, kidnapped his other friend for bait, and no one knew why they cemented the flower garden. But Smash found them first, and he defeated them. With that plan gone, he had to resort to using a drug to power him up. However, that plan failed as he is not allowed to kill another person in the Blitz Pit or he would never become number #1. He then gave him a "Reason You Suck Speech" over how pathetic he was to have to cheat to beat him, and he didn't deserve to even be a fighter at the Blitz Pit. Smash then told him that he would like to either have a rematch fair and square, or test out his "drugified" state against his super form, as he held out the Chaos Emeralds. Brian looked frightened, and couldn't decide what to do. He ended up running away. Smash scoffed at him as he watched him run. It wasn't long until some "dignified" looking thief came back to them with Brian completely tied up. He told them that they could do whatever they wanted with him, as he doesn't take such despicable jobs. Brian had come to try and get him to kill Smash again, but he was refused. Smash was very disappointed with the fact that he couldn't beat him up, and just decided to turn him in to the police. Luckily, Speedy's father is a policeman, and he was already very familiar with the situation. He took Brian to jail, and that was the last they heard of him. Smash was still disappointed, and decided to start some training in his super form. Just then, the Chaos Emeralds randomly separated.
Smash felt cheated.
It was finally break time from all the insanity. Everyone was going to a new camp that was opening up to have a bit of a vacation. Smash and Frost were too old to really enter the activities and such, so they just came along as guests and watched over the whole thing. Once they got there, they were split into pairs as cabin mates. Smash and Frost were guests, so they didn't count. Splice teamed up with Lily, Speedy with Violet, Tab with Lucy, Thunder with Lightning, Roy with Lisa, Crystal with her old friend Jessie, her friend who had come over for the camp, Gizmo with Kitty, Shade and Hyper both teamed up with two unfamiliar people, and finally, Zap with Pearl, since no one else was around that she would team up with. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, although they did discover a cave behind the water fall in the park of the camp which had fresh Topaz' growing inside.
There was a science contest opening up there, whoever could make the most interesting contraption would win a gold trophy. Of course, everyone entered. The pairs tried to come up with whatever they could. They were allowed to use material of any kind. In the end, Gizmo and Kitty came in first for creating the "Remote Control Bow&arrows". Lucy and Tab came in second for creating jet shoes, to boost one's running speed. Speedy and Violet came in third for creating a house/motor raft which they called "The Axium". Crystal and Jessie put a light inside of one of the topaz' and made a pretty light. They also showed how it could make a flashlight by putting it inside of an empty paper towel roll with a magnifying glass taped to the other side. Pearl and Zap modified a bike to have two seats. Thunder and Lightning made a lightning rod, but they couldn't demonstrate it without a storm. As for Splice and Lily, Splice was tormented day and night by Lily and couldn't come up with anything to make. Lily secretly made a "contraption" which looked like an elephant doll with random objects sticking out of it including a fan and random springs. When she turned it on, it smoked and sparked as if it were about to catch on fire. She called it "The Doorknob". She got one vote for that personally from the judge himself. Splice didn't know whether to tear his quills out in frustration or break down crying.
Soon, it was time to go home. Pretty much everyone was satisfied from their vacation. Although Splice could scarcely call it a vacation.
Emerald Isles [Smash Only]
Smash was invited onto a cruise ship by his friend, Star the Porcupine. Seeing how he needed a good vacation, he went along with it. He saw a lot of familiar faces-Including Eggman, who also was there for a vacation. Smash felt a bit uneasy with Eggman along, but then just shrugged it off later. The RP has been cancelled due to everyone leaving.
The Secret of the Mutants
This began before Camp Crystal, but no one knew until afterwards. Before Camp Crystal began, Speedy and Lily discovered the remains of a Hedgehog/Echidna hybrid in the park. Speedy, being highly concerned about this, told Smash about it. Smash was also concerned, Especially since he had just had his first child with Luna, who was also a hybrid between the two species. But he didn't know where to begin in investigating, so they just told the park owner and he took care of it.
A few weeks later, Hyper came to Smash's house, which wasn't exactly usual. Hyper didn't often come to visit him. He told Smash that he found a "Thing" in his front yard. And it was dead. And it smelled absolutely terrible. Smash went to check it out and found a dead Fox/Wolf/Mutatant thing lying right where he told him. Speedy came over and saw it as well, and both he and Smash were thinking the same thing. Something's up. They showed it to Frost to ask him to use the Power Star to identify it. It identified it as a "mutant hybrid". It could have only meant that this hybrid was not natural at all. They went to talk to Tab about it, and while they were talking outside of her house with her, they saw two men walk by on the sidewalk. They both stopped, looked at them and then whispered to eachother, and then left quickly. Smash was even more concerned, seeing how the last time he saw that, he nearly got killed. He then got the idea to follow them. He and the others pursued them into an alleyway--and ran into Shade on the way. They kept following them until they got to a corner. When they looked, the men were gone. They searched the area, but found nothing. However, they were right next to a mysterious building with no entrance. Smash immediately knew that they had somehow gotten in there. His hunch was greater due to a prior incident.
A strange object came flying out of the only window of the building due to an explosion on the inside. Smash found it and brought it to Lucy to examine it. The next day, they get the news that Lucy had been kidnapped. They search for her, and then find her in an alleyway just fine. She told them that she wasn't harmed, but the people that kidnapped her stole the machine and ran off.
They searched all over for an entrance, and soon found one in a secret manhole which lead to the sewers. However, there was a passage that lead into a dark facility. At the entrance, they overheard a few people talking about creatures getting lose from there, and that they were test subjects for something. One of them suggested they use Chao for their experiments to help stop the subjects from going crazy. One of them also mentioned that they found "Him". Even Smash was scared when he overheard the conversation. From what they could understand if they linked that to the creatures found dead in the park and infront of Hyper's house, they were kidnapping people off the street and mutating them. He wanted to go in and check out what was going on, but there were security cameras littering the place. They immediately left to go back.
The moment Smash got home, he called everyone to his house for a meeting to fill them in on what's going on. They soon devised a plan to get inside. Gizmo, Lucy and Kitty were to create something that would disable the cameras so that they could get inside, while Smash and a few other people were to go around to see a few other friends who didn't attend to the meeting and gather them up at his house for safety. Once everyone did their parts, they moved onto part two of their planning. Gizmo, Kitty and Lucy created a dart gun that shoots electrified needles which were designed to completely disable almost any electronic. Smash and Speedy then came up with the idea for Kitty and Shade to find a way into the air vents and find the main source of the security system and disable the cameras, and also have the computers that show what's recording pause when nobody was on either camera. Once that was done, the other team would go in and find out what's going on without being detected. The team for infiltration was Smash, Splice, Gizmo, Tab, Frost, and Speedy. Everyone else was to stay at Smash's house and wait incase they called.
Finally, they were ready to put their plan into action. Kitty and Shade made their way through the ducts, and when they came to the security room, only three people were in there. They had to do a sneak attack on them. With the "Chaff Gun", the dart gun they made, Kitty was able to paralyze the men. They ended up tying them up with an electrical cord to something Shade cut and shoving them into the closet. They also had to gag them to make sure they didn't cry out for help. After that, they called Smash to tell him that they were ready. Smash's team moved in and explored the area. They had a few close calls, but they managed to go undetected for the most part. They did run into one person, but they all jumped him at the same time and knocked him out cold. They then came to one room and found something horrifying. Test Tubes sat on both sides of the room, opposite from eachother. In there, there were normal people slowly being transformed into mutants. There was another room across from where they entered, but it was locked by a keycard and a handprint scanner. They used the guard that they had just knocked out to get in. However, they quickly had to leave because someone was coming from another room across from the entrance. After hearing voices for a few moments, and then a blood curdling scream, Frost used the Power Star to warp under a table that he caught a glimpse of so that he could spy on them better. However, Frost was directly under the table that the man in there was using to work on his subject. It turned out that they were infusing Chaos Energy forcefully into their subject's bodies, along with things called "Elemental Rings". But doing so made their subjects go insane and hostile, and soon die. This one appeared to be a success, as it awoke in almost a dazed state, and obeyed every command given to him. The man then went into the other room, and Frost went to open the door for everyone else to come in. He told them what happened, and they were horrified.
They went into the room that the man went in and found that it lead downstairs. They went down a long, spiraling starcase, until they came to a laboratory room. They saw a bunch of men in there working on one person, a green echidna. The area was pretty secure, so they left. When they got back to the room with the test tubes, they started to discuss what they found out. They found out what they were doing, but they had no idea what their motive was or who was in charge. They went to search other areas of the building, and then came across a room with a window. However, they didn't go inside because someone was in there. But when they peeked in, they saw a large piece of furniture infront of a window, and a man sitting at a table which had the same object that Lucy was kidnapped for. This confirmed their location. Moments later, they heard someone coming and they had to leave. They contacted Kitty and Shade, who were doing their best not to get spotted to get out of the building. They all then met up at Smash's house. Smash explained everything that was currently going on, and then they waited a couple of days before going back to see what they could do. When they got there, they saw some of the people working there hiring Chao Hunters to go to a chao garden hidden in the forest that Amber lived in. They immediately contacted Kitty and Shade, who were going through their last routine, to tell them what they found out. Angered, Gizmo took the phone from Smash and called back to his house to tell everyone else. He told them to go to the Chao Garden and ambush them. Kitty and Shade joined them shortly afterwards.
Later, things started to get crazy. They found a route leading to the sewers as an alternate exit, and found some of the workers getting chased by a giant slime monster--identical to the one Smash was hired to kill recently. They went back into the facility to investigate more. They found out that they were going to get a certain ore from the minds in a desert town far to the north. And then when they were in the room with the test tubes, one of the mutants escaped and the lights went out. They heard screaming and sirens going off, security running by without even noticing them, and then they heard that the slime monster that was in the sewers was inside the building attacking people. Through all the insanity, Frost was not going to stick around. He teleported everyone outside the building with the Power Star, and they went right back to Smash's house. Not before Smash rescued one of the people who had not yet turned into a mutant from the test tubes. Meanwhile with the others, they had successfully defeated the Chao hunters, and met a cat who lived in a village nearby. They learned of his tribe and how they had to leave their old home due to a massive forest fire, and they relocated here. Speedy, Violet and Shade had seen the same old burnt down village months back.
Later, everyone awoke at Smash's house in shock. They overslept until 4:00 in the afternoon. And Hyper had gone missing. Smash immediately caught onto what happened. They all couldn't have slept in for that long at the same time. He also found that his front door was unlocked. Someone got in and drugged them, and kidnapped Hyper. He already knew where Hyper was, and they went on an all out assault on the facility. They beat up whoever showed up in front of them and muscled their way through everything. They found Hyper in the same room as that Echidna had been in, and were too late to save him before they injected Chao DNA into his blood. Before they could do anything else, The Gang fought them off of Hyper and saved him. They also saved the Echidna while they were at it. They muscled their way out and went back to Smash's house to let Hyper and the Echidna girl rest. The Echidna was the first one to wake up. Smash explained the situation, and then learned that her name was Melissa. Melissa knew Hyper--not personally--but she knew him. When Hyper woke up, Melissa told them to take her to Emerald Hill, and she would explain everything there. The team then split up. Some went to Emerald Hill, while the others went to the desert town, Kartilla. Frost had to take both teams using his starship.
In the team who went to Kartilla, they found out that the ore was a certain gemstone that reacted strongly to Chaos Energy, and could be used to channel it. The mayor didn't generally let people into their mines, but he had struck a deal with the people who came to get some of the ore. However, Kyle told them what the people's true intents were, although he still didn't know why they were doing it. They then got to have a look at the ore themselves, but didn't take any.
Meanwhile, the team who went to Emerald Hill found out that Hyper was born there. Hyper's parents worked for the facility which were doing the experiments. They let Hyper be one of the test subjects. Later, His mother quit her job there, regretting what she had done. She abandoned Hyper, seeing as how he had gained lots of physical strength and Earth and Wind powers, and he was still just a child. She was afraid that he would come after her for revenge, so she left him and went to live by herself on a nearby island. However, her husband never did come back from working at the facility.
The two teams met up at Kartilla. They had discovered that the men were preparing to relocate to a different continent: Morlinia. For what reason, they did not know. But the next morning, they found that they had already gotten a head start on them. They went to Thunder and pleaded for him to take them to Morlinia. He agreed when he found out their reasons, and took them there as fast as he could. When they found the area where the people had docked, they docked near them--but out of sight--and went to find out where they were going. They caught them unleashing their mutants on a small town as a threat. They were threatening the town's mayor to destroy everything if he didn't tell them the location of something. The Gang sprung into action and fended off the mutants. They also discovered that they had bought some of Dr. Eggman's robots to add to their forces. Once the town was saved, Smash talked to the mayor and discovered where they were headed. They then followed them deep into the forest and into a rather large metallic building. They busted in and beat on everyone until they got to the boss. They forced him to tell them why he was doing it. It all boiled down to one main thing: Money. Smash was disgusted, and ready to pulverize him. But while they had their guard down, he took Lucy hostage and held her at gunpoint. However, Lucy managed to save herself by turning on her automatic propeller hat that she made recently, (Commonly known as a "Beanie", but the propeller hat a motor and spun when turned on.) and letting the propellers smack him in the face until he let go. That was when the rest of them jumped him. After beating the snot out of the boss, the rest of security came into the room. Smash told them that unless they wanted to end up like their boss, they had better leave. The security spared not another minute to scram. Smash tied up the boss and took him out of the building, then told everyone to stand back. He used his most powerful skill to destroy the entire building: Meteor Smash. They then took the rest of the people involved in the facility back to Green Flower City and turned them in.
It was a solid victory, although a tad anti-climatic. Even though they solved the case, their problem was far from over...
The Haunted Airport [Hyper Only]
(Awaiting Hyper's input)
The Unexpected Turnabout
This was originally supposed to be non-canon, but it somehow made its way into the Canon series. This was a Phoenix Wright styled RP. With a tad bit of changes in the selected characters, it would be fully canon.
A hedgehog and a otter were out in the street one night, and it seemed the two were having some sort of conversation. It seemed to last for a little bit that is, until the otter pushed the hedgehog out into the street. Something had hit the hedgehog and killed him right then and there in the streets. A person was screaming at the sight of it, and another person was pointing at this someone else shouting "You're the murderer!" And that's how this whole story begins.
Smash went outside his house one night because there were police cars right outside. He found the police arresting someone in his yard, and gasped when he realized who it was. It was Hyper. He ran to them and asked them what happened, and they told him that they're arresting him on the charges of murder. His trial would be the very next morning at 9:30. Smash was so shocked, he didn't know what to think at first. He went inside to think about what to do. Moments later, he got an idea: He called Gizmo and told him what happened. He told him that he was going to defend Hyper, because he knew that he didn't murder anyone. There wasn't enough time to take the Bar exam to become an actual lawyer, so he asked Gizmo to make him a fake attorney's badge. Smash spent the rest of the night preparing for the trial, and didn't go to bed until nearly 4:00 AM.
The next day, Gizmo came right to Smash's house to give him the replica of an attorney's badge. They then went to the courthouse. Smash met with Tab and Speedy at the lounge of the courthouse. Smash told them that he was going to be the lead defense, and that they had to back him up the best that they could. Pretty much everyone else went to the gallery to watch. They met with Hyper, and had him explain what happened. Hyper told them that he was walking down the road, and then he heard a scream and saw a dead body in the road, and then he saw someone pointing at him, and then ran away because he was frightened. When they went into the courtroom, they found that the prosecutor was a beginner as well, so they were safe. When the trial began, the detective came and gave her testimony on what transpired that night. Smash, Tab and Speedy then came to notice that there was no evidence to be brought to the court. Later, they brought on their next witness--and to their dismay, it was Lily. Lily claimed that she met Hyper a little bit before the murder. Through a long time of trying to piece together her story with the facts, they finally came to the conclusion that she had absolutely no relevence to the murder. (or even an idea of what she was talking about.) Their next witness was a man named Benjamin. Through cross examining him, it was clear that he was hiding something. The victim had died from being hit hard by a large and dense object. And he was on the road, so they thought that it had to have been a car. But Benjamin claims that there was no car. They later learned of a different prosecutor who was originally supposed to be on the case until someone else was reassigned for it while they were on recess. And also, they got an explanation out of Hyper, but it was a bit vague. They later had him testify in court. However, he was so traumatized from the whole event, he mixed up the events a few times. But they still managed to get some info out of him. They then went onto their next witniss, a girl named Brianna. She was with the victim before the murder. She had been talking with him by the beach, and then she left. However, while she was leaving, she passed by the Black Rose Orphanage and happened to see a car going by at high speeds. The old prosecutor had come and joined the current one for the case. He showed multiple pieces of evidence. One was blood on the rail near where Hyper tripped on the sidewalk, one was a crowbar with a bit of blood on the tip, the other was a photo of a car--with a massive amount of blood on the front.
Adding up the facts they came to this: That night, Hyper was walking down the road that night, heading towards Smash's house because he had to talk to him. He tripped on a crack in the sidewalk and fell down, injuring himself on a rusted rail beside him. However, at the same time, the murder took place and he was blamed for it. Before hand, Brianna was talking with the victim, and then they parted ways. Seeing how the victim was in the area, it was safe to assume that the time of death was moments after they left. Brianna saw a car speeding by her where she went. The victim was a really kind and generous person and would be willing to help just about anyone in need. He was even known for going around the public and doing whatever he could to help people. Seeing how he was that nice of a person, he would obviously go to help Hyper when he tripped on the sidewalk. And what could possibly have hit him while running across the road to someone screaming in pain? A car. With all that added up, Smash thought that it was time to bring Benjamin back. After cross examining him for a while, he said that he was called to the Black Rose Orphanage for something urgent and it needed to be the top of his priority. However, he stopped at a fast food shop. Smash didn't buy that part. Benjamin also claimed that someone could have hijacked his car. Smash still didn't believe that. Benjamin claimed that he saw Hyper kill the victim with the crowbar. Smash was going to raise an objection before the prosecution pressed him into blurting something out loud. "OF COURSE NOT BECAUSE I RAN HIM OVE-" He stopped himself before he could finish. They finally caught him. He admitted that he ran the victim over with his car, which would explain the photo of the bloody car. The prosecutor told them that there were some dark things going on in the orphanage, and that he was sure that Benjamin was sent to kill someone who knew too much. That was why he did what he did, and why the orphanage called him in the first place. The crowbar that he used was fake evidence to trap him. However, Benjamin told him that since he confessed using fake evidence, his confession was illegal and he couldn't be declared guilty. That's when Smash stepped in. He was going to cross examine him, however, Benjamin gave up his rights to speak. Smash then thought for a moment, and then came up with solid proof. He asked for the keys to the bloody car. Benjamin took them out of his pocket and showed them. Smash ordered the Bailiff to try them out in the car in the parking lot. He came back and said that it started just fine. Smash's eyes shot towards Benjamin fiercely. He began to beat around the bush and told him that there was no way that he could even get to the court if someone had hijacked his car, while his car was still out there and he had the keys to it. Even though Benjamin said that it was possible to hijack a car without the keys, Smash said that the fact that his car was outside was more than enough proof that someone didn't hijack his car. And further more, his car was the murder weapon. And if no one hijacked his car, that could only mean that he was the murderer! Benjamin froze, while Smash gave him a serious look and let him know that he lost. They had proved Legally and Illegally that he was the murderer. There was no other way to go. Benjamin ended up breaking down, going completely insane and erratic-beating on himself and screaming loudly before he collapsed.
It was finally over. The Judge handed out his verdict: NOT GUILTY. They began to plan their celebration in the court lobby. However, the prosecutor had to go into the judges chambers. He came out looking sad, as he had just lost his job. However, he regretted nothing. He had apparently been chasing down Benjamin for 5 years. Now that he was caught, he could relax. Smash wanted to hold a little party at his house, and invited him. He agreed to join them.
This was never meant to be canon. However, There were so many ways to link this to the main plot of the series, it just couldn't be Non-Canon.
Taking place about the day after the Unexpected Turnabout. Hyper came to Smash's house to talk to him, like he planned to the other night. Speedy had come over too, since he knew Hyper had something to say and was interested in what it was. Hyper told him that he was feeling really weird. He was frequently overheating, dizzy, and randomly fainting. Smash of course became worried, especially since the people that were creating mutants had gotten a hold of him twice. They suspected that had something to do with it until Hyper passed out and Smash discovered something frightening in the newspaper. One of the mutants had gotten loose and died in the middle of the street, and scientists claim that this was the cause of the recent outbreak of the new Plague. Symptoms of the plague included dizziness, over heating, fainting, and becoming very violent. Smash immediately took Hyper to the hospital to be looked after. However, the plague was new, and there was no known cure for it. Smash and Speedy immediately went to Tab's house to tell her what was going on. She was shocked and rather scared of what might happen. Lucy, who happened to be there at the time, told them that she had heard of some kind of ancient treasure that could cure any sickness. She had read about it in a book. They then decided to go to the library to see what they could find. After a while of searching, they came across a book that spoke of the ancient treasure. The same book that Lucy read. Apparently, an ancient tribe used that treasure to keep their people in good health. They lived on an island somewhere up to the north. They then decided to talk to Thunder about going. They talked to him and he said that he would be ready to set sail in about 15 minutes.
While they were waiting, they noticed that Tab went missing. They retraced their steps to see if they accidentally left her somewhere, and found her passed out in front of Lucy's house. Smash was horrified and immediately rushed her to the hospital. They confirmed that she had caught the plague. It was spreading fast. They decided to gather up their friends in the city to go with them. They found Shade, Violet, Crystal(although Crystal wouldn't go without her parents.), Lily, and Splice, who actually came to them to warn them about the plague. However, they were already preparing to leave. Splice decided to join them. Thunder was yelling out orders for his brothers to get the cargo on the ship and the ship itself ready. While he was doing that, Speedy and Violet caught a glimpse of a female dog washed up on the beach. They went to her aid, and soon got her to wake up. She had no idea where she was, but it apparently wasn't where she was supposed to be. Thunder then came to them to see what was going on. The girl said that the last thing she remembered was being attacked by pirates. Thunder offered to take her to where she was originally going to go while he was sailing. She agreed, and they all boarded the ship and set sail. Violet tried to be nice and get to know her a little more. Smash introduced her to everyone, and tried to have a friendly chat with her. However, he and Thunder were both humiliated by Lucy's childlike obliviousness and Lily's "Lilyisms". The girl saw them as an eccentric group all together, when it was mainly two people who ruined their first impression.
Soon, they came to the island with the town that the girl wanted to go to. It was her home town, Gardina. She then told them that her name was Vensha before thanking them and leaving. They decided to stay a little while and see if they could pick up any information on the island that they were headed to. Gardina was right along the way there. Thunder went to buy some supplies for the ship, Speedy went to see if he could get any souvenirs, while Smash, Shade and Splice took a walk around to see what they could find out. Smash eventually started up a conversation with a local sailor at the docks. Smash asked him about the island to the north, and the sailor told him that it was completely haunted. Ghosts roam around the island at night, no one who's ever gone to the island have ever come back, there are even ghost ships that circle the island at night, and a dense fog covered the entire island the moment it got dark. Smash was disturbed, but it did sound like a generic ghost story. But if his intuition served him well, there was some truth behind it. He decided that they would stay the night and then head out the next morning, and return before nightfall.
The next morning they went along with their plan. They went out to the island as early as they could. When the island came into sight, They all could see how creepy it was; even in the daylight. They docked their ship and went to check things out. Thunder stayed behind and kept the ship ready so that they could leave as soon as they returned. They searched the island, and came across a stone panel on the ground with a moon symbol engraved on the surface. Nobody could figure out what it was, so they left it temporarily. They soon came across a village; An abandoned old village. They looked around, mainly taking peeks in empty houses. Although after Smash opened a door and found spider webs everywhere and a gigantic spider walking leisurely by. He then resorted to looking through the windows only. All of a sudden, all the local wildlife vanished into hiding all at once. Smash took this as a sign and got everyone to hide. They heard something big moving through the forest quickly and roughly. Soon, the threat passed and they heard the animals again. Disturbed, They all got out of their hiding spots and continued looking around. Eventually, they moved on after finding nothing that would help them. They went to investigate the cliff past the mountain. They were at the foot of the cliff, and needed to get to the top. Splice hurried back to Thunder's ship and asked if he had any tools for climbing cliffs, and was given a grappling hook. After taking it back to the gang, Smash climbed to the top with it. On the top, Smash had a good view of the entire island. He saw several shipwrecks-about 7 to 9 of them surrounding the island. It sent chills down his spine. He also saw a mysterious building near one of the beaches. He took his eyes off of the sights and looked around on the top of the cliff. He found a large rock blocking what seemed to be a passageway. He immediately took notice to the cresent moon carved into the face of the rock. He couldn't move the rock either, which brought him to the conclusion that he had to solve some sort of riddle to get past it. He climbed down the cliff and told everyone else what he found out. He then lead them all to the strange building he found. They investigated the inside, it was mainly just an empty room with a pedestal in the middle. Suddenly, Lily began to look afraid. She said that Steven sensed something, and she wanted to get out of there. (Steven being the top hat that Speedy bought, which she pretty much stole from him and wears all the time.) Smash took that as a sign. Lily is crazy, and almost never showed signs of being scared before. And if she "Sensed" something, that meant that they needed to leave. Now. Smash hurried towards the door, but it sealed itself, trapping them all inside. Just then, one by one, each tile on the floor began to fall down into a bottomless black abyss. Everyone backed up against the walls, and thankfully the floor next to the walls were stable. After all the rest of the floor had fallen, the door unlocked and everyone got out. Just then they noticed that Lucy was missing, but she then came back saying that she was taking a look elsewhere. Smash scolded her for separating, when he then noticed that the sun was setting. It was lower than when they had planned to leave. They were late. Smash immediately got everyone and ran towards the beach on the other side of the island. They ran as fast as they could, trying to beat the sun. It started to get dark, and they began to hear odd sounds. A dense fog began to cover the island. They finally got to Thunder's ship. Thunder was shouting at them to hurry up and get on so they could get out. They all boarded the ship and tried to leave. While they were boarding, a small rabbit hopped on board, most likely wanting to leave as well. Thunder already had his ship ready to sail away, but when they tried to move the ship, it wouldn't budge. Everyone was panicking, trying every idea they had to get the ship moving. Nothing worked. Soon, the fog had covered the entire island. Speedy noticed a creepy looking fish in the water, swimming around them. Before he could draw anyone's attention to it, the ship shook-and began to sink. Thunder screamed at everyone to abandon ship and got out all the life boats and threw them over board. Everyone jumped out into the boats and tried to get away. Soon the life boat Speedy was in started sinking as he noticed the fish next to him. He was about to get into someone elses boat when the fish lunged out the water and started to drag him under. Violet jumped out of her boat and saved Speedy, bringing him back to her ship. Which then stopped moving. They ended up swimming as fast as they could. Everyone began to see spirits coming after them. Thunder, who was in an inflatable rubber boat, was going as fast as he could until his boat shot under water at an alarming instantaneous rate. Everyone was thrown into the water and getting pulled under. Smash was the only one who managed to escape, as he somehow managed to knock one of the ghosts off of him with his bare hand. However, after he cleared the fog, he passed out.
Smash awoke, seeing the sky and hearing the waves of the sea. He sat up and found himself on the deck of a ship. He turned and saw Speedy's top hat on the rail, hanging to dry. He stood up and looked around. A familiar face came to greet him. He soon realized that he was on Vensha's ship. Vensha had been out looking for her father after she had been shipwrecked, and found Smash in the sea. Smash explained what happened and asked her to take him back to Green Flower City. She agreed to do so and sailed back. Smash didn't know what to think anymore. He failed to save Tab and Hyper, and now everyone else was gone. He even got Thunder's ship sunk, too. Once he got back home, he started to go back home, but then got another idea. He went to see Frost and told him everything that happened. He asked him to try to use the Power Star to detect any signs of life at the island, and try to use it to get through the fog when they go back to the island. Frost agreed and took him on his Flight Warpstar.
Meanwhile, Speedy woke up on the beach of the island. He looked around and found everyone else lying around him, still unconscious. He then found a fox named Stan, who said that he rescued them. He told them that it was foolish of them to come out here, and asked him what they were doing on the island. Before answering, he took them all into his home. He apparently lived on the island as he was shipwrecked some time ago. Speedy explained the situation to him. Soon everyone else began to wake up. And it wasn't long until they found out that Smash was missing, although Lily was mourning over Steven rather than Smash. Stan said that he never saw him, or Lily's hat. Shocked at the loss of their faithful leader, they started to think about what to do next. Speedy then announced that he would take the lead in Smash's place, while at the same time, Splice had already decided that he would lead everyone. They began to argue over who would lead, but then both ended up leading at the same time. Stan decided to help them. After a bit of deductions, they came to know that to move the stone Smash had seen earlier, they would need a cresent shaped artifact. And that was most likely inside of a secret passageway beneath the stone panel, which apparently only opened at night. If they hurried, they would be able to get in, because it was almost dawn. They ran to the panel and found that it was starting to close. Using a shovel, they managed to brace it, stopping it from closing. They all went down into the passageway and explored the area.
Meanwhile, Smash and Frost were hovering in the air a safe distance from the island. The fog had completely surrounded the entire island, preventing them from entering. Frost figured that since it was haunted, Light wouldn't mix too well with it. He used the Power Star to fire a blast of light at the fog. The fog around the blast diminished, but it regenerated far too quickly. They began to devise another plan.
Back with the others, they were still exploring underground. It was a series of long, dark and dank corridors. There were a few traps they had to make their way past, and a few ghosts came to try and stop them. But Splice and Speedy managed to fend them off with their powers over Fire and Ice. Finally, they came to the end of the path. There was a wide, circular room with a pedastle in the center. Resting on top was a cresent shaped artifact. Knowing what they had to do, they took it with them and left. But the moment they took it, ghosts from all over began appearing rapidly, and they chased them out of the entire underground area. They made a mad dash towards the mountain and climbed to the top of the cliff. Upon inserting the cresent artifact in the stone carving, the stone moved automatically, revealing behind it a tranquil spring. They examined it for a few moments, before Thunder gasped in shock. He took a picture which he had been holding onto and matched it to the area they were currently in, and revealed that what they were seeing now was the Legendary Miracle water, a treasure he'd wanted to discover and had been searching for, for 3 years. They then realized that the Miracle Water WAS the treasure they all were looking for. One of the ghosts appeared and told them about it, since they already found it. The Miracle Water was kept in secret from the world outside of the island. They were able to cure sicknesses and keep their people healthy, but if it were publicized, the water would not only lose its specialty, but it would most likely become foul and muddy, and lose its healing effect. However, when Splice told them their situation, the ghost agreed to share some with them. Thunder then began to yell at the ghost, telling him that they sunk his ship. And they couldn't expect them to leave without a ship. The ghost told them that they do that in defense, and then agreed to give him his ship back. They looked out towards the beach and saw the Thunder Bolt rising to the surface. Thunder was so relieved, he shed a tear. They returned to the ship to look for something to contain the water in. They then took two large barrels and filled them with the water, and prepared to leave. While they were returning to the ship again, they noticed that the fog had completely disappeared-and there was another ship nearby. The ship turned out to be Vensha's. She had come to rescue them. At the same time, Smash and Frost landed their warpstar on the beach and found them all alright. Smash and the others happily reunited, overly relieved that the other(s) were still alive. It was a crowning moment of heartwarming for the group. They then told Smash all about what had happened, and they all hurried to get back to Green Flower City. Thunder felt as if it had been ages since he had touched the wheel of his ship. When they got back, they hurried to the hospital and delivered some of the miracle water, and then gave the rest of the barrel to the mayor. Smash kept the last barrel in his house. They only needed a sip of the water, so they hoped that it would last a while.
It wasn't long before everyone recovered. Tab, Hyper, Kitty, Everyone had recovered from the plague. Smash held a huge party at his house. It was the first time Tab had ever smiled in a long time. There, they told stories about all of their adventures to Vensha. Vensha was rather shocked about what they had all gone through, and admitted that she thought that they were just a group of incompitent goofs. After telling her of their last adventure, Tab came up to Smash, and gave him a present. "Happy Birthday", is what she told him. Smash, both startled and confused, immediately referred to the calendar. It was July 7th. His birthday was June 21st. Smash felt like crying, but he kept a straight face and accepted the present.
The Blitz Pit World Tournament
The time was drawing near. Once every summer, The Blitz Pit holds The World Tournament. Fighters from all around the world gathered to test their strength in the tournament. With all kinds of fighters, it's very tough to win. Smash has only won once out of 4 times he's entered, and he was determined to win this time now that he had been working on a "Secret Weapon" as he put it. As everyone was preparing, A large object hovered over the city. The object blocked the view of the sunlight, darkening the entire area. It soon passed overhead, moving eastward. But something dropped from it and fell to the earth. (Under Construction)
Ace Attorneys [Smash Only]
The Shadow Crystal Cloud Tournament [Smash Only]
A voice from the sky suddenly announced a fighting tournament, held in an airborne colosseum. Claiming that this was the tournament that no fighter should miss, The mysterious voice convinced several people to join the tournament. Ominously, there were dragons circling around the colosseum in the air. Dragon sightings were pretty unusual. Of course, the first to react suspiciously to these sudden events was none other than Smash. He almost immediately knew something was up, and went to investigate. Upon entering, he was rather troubled with the situation. Something was clearly wrong with this tournament, but he didn't know where to begin his investigation. He wasn't even sure if he was safe for the time being or not. He signed up anyway. Whatever the trap was, he was ready for it. There he met the referee, and main attendant for the tournament, Rachel. She offered him a chili dog and asked him what was bothering him. He accepted the food, and then asked her a few questions about the tournament. From what he gathered, the host did not want to disclose his name. Nor did he want to show himself. And if Rachel told him, she would be "Terminated". This disturbed Smash greatly, as it further proved his point that something was terribly wrong. He never did eat the Chili dog, though. He ended up putting it down somewhere and forgetting about it. He soon found Rachel and another guy fighting-or rather-Rachel beating the stuffings out of another guy. He sighed and stopped them, soon finding out that she thought that he was flirting with her. Apparently, she can't have a romantic relationship with anyone or she will be terminated. As much as this disturbed Smash, he was more disgusted than anything. Who would do that to their attendant? Who WAS this person? He'd soon find out. He then found out that the guy Rachel was abusing was named Krinkinko, and was his first opponent in the tournament. He looked up to him as a wise and strong person, moreso after their match when Smash defeated him.
Near the end of their match, Krinkinko had transformed into a dark form, and launched a Dark Spirit Bomb at Smash. Smash powered up into his High Tension state and managed to hold it back. He held it back long enough for Krinkinko to revert back to normal. Exhausted from using up all his energy in the form, Krinkinko collapsed and Smash was declared the winner-WHILE he was still holding the Dark Spirit Bomb. Smash struggled to keep it away from the rest of his body as he tried to figure out how he was going to get rid of it. He then shoved it into the sky with a large blast of energy. His form immediately disappeared after the small explosion of power, and the spirit bomb blew up high above him. After his first match, Smash took his chance to rest a bit before attempting to begin his investigation. He went into deep thought as he sipped a glass of water. That outburst of energy was unusual. Usually his High Tension state would dissipate at that time. Instead, he was able to use one last ounce of his energy and amplify it just high enough to give him the strength to throw the spirit bomb away. How was he able to pull that off? He left that to be thought about later as he drifted off onto the main subject. He began going over what he knew on the matter of the tournament. Quoted from Smash's thoughts: "Mysterious guy hosts a fighting tournament. Mysterious guy holds it in the sky, guarded by several hundred..dragons, it seems. Mysterious Guy wants every fighter all around the world to join. Mysterious guy promises glory, riches, and fame for the victor, and in an ominous way. Also he announced it by having his voice echo, I'm guessing all over the world. No normal person would think that is regular. Continuing on. Mysterious guy threatens to eliminate, or Kill in other words, his assistant if she reveals anything that could expose his identity, or if she has any romantic relationships with someone else? Kinda messed up if you ask me. And lastly, the assistant is giving out free hot dogs to passerby's." With all of that, he still couldn't bring up anything useful to consider. He decided to do some backstage investigation after he rested. He let himself drift off into a very light slumber.
The Cosmic Championship [Smash Only]
The Lost Episodes: Season 1 Cut
The roleplay that started it all for the Sonic fancharacters. For reasons due to past events, it was a crossover between several different series such as Mario, Star Fox, the Legend of Zelda, etc. But it was the first episode ever to have a fancharacter in it. However, due to the extreme stretch in crossovers, this is officially marked as Non-Canon.
The Birth of Team Speedy
This was the first episode if you discredit the previous one. There were no other crossovers besides Kirby, for there was a Kirby character living on their planet. This was the roleplay that brought Smash The Echidna, Speedy The Hedgehog, and the currently dropped character Two Tails The Fox all together. They formed a Sonic Heroes styled team by the name of Team Speedy. They were physically Team Sonic, to an overpowered level. Because Two Tails has been dropped, it's safe to assume that this roleplay is Non-Canon.
However, Even though Two Tails is gone, There are still many hidden or obvious references to him.
Meet Lily The Hedgehog
The roleplay that first introduced the new character, Lily The Hedgehog. Speedy had encountered a gigantic robot in one of Dr. Eggman's many bases. Upon defeating it, It began to fall downwards, nearly crushing a captive in the facility. Speedy sprung into action and saved Lily in a heroic fasion. Because of that, Lily appeared to be falling for Speedy. However, Speedy was already falling for another girl, Violet The Hedgehog, who obviously liked him back. Thus starting up a small love triangle. Despite that, Violet and Lily got along very well.
The problem that keeps this from staying Canon is the fact that Lily has changed dramatically in character since then. It's hard to say whether or not she even knows what love is nowadays. Also, the way Speedy rescued her was by catching the robot and tossing it to the side, which is physically impossible due to it's size and mass. This Roleplay is Non-Canon.
Enter: The "Y" Girls
This episode was beyond ridiculous, to say the least. Basically, A female version of Team Speedy comes to town. They meet Team Speedy, and each of them ends up falling in love with their male counterparts. However, The team was rather twisted. The leader's name was Sierrah The Hedgehog. She was not entirely right in the head. She was incredibly bossy, mean and wicked towards her teammates. Yet when Speedy was around, She would "Try" to be charming. But she just came off as incredibly uneccessarily sleezy, and infuriating to Violet. She and Violet were fast enemies since she was "Hitting on" Speedy. As for the Power type in their team, Lash the Echidna was a failed knockoff of Smash's family name trends. She turned out to be a nerd who created machinery for the team, and she created a sort of power up for herself so that she would qualify for the power type of the team. Whenever Smash was around, She would try to impress him by talking about her achievements, but ended up rambling off about who knows what. Smash always told her that he already had a girlfriend, but, as Smash said, "She don't wanna listen.". The last person of the team was named Taily. Her name was eyebrow raising inducing, but character wise, she was actually the most tolerant of all of them. It just so happened that she used to be a regular girl until she joined the "Y" Girls, which changed her for the worst. She became very weird and eccentric, but she started to regain her old self as she hung out with Two Tails. Two Tails himself actually didn't mind her much and even became her friend. In later episodes, it was heard that Taily had left the "Y" Girls, and left town. No one ever heard from her again.
The episode just so happened to take place on Speedy's Birthday. With Sierrah inviting herself to the party, things went rather badly. She had Lash help her cheat at Spin The Bottle so that she could steal a kiss from Speedy. (It was implied that the kisses were rather inappropriate, or atleast that's what Speedy implied.) She and Violet got into a fight, Lash rambled about something to Smash who was obviously bored, and Speedy overall had a bad day.
Due to the unbelievably embarrassing moments and concepts of the roleplay, This is officially marked as "Non-Canon".
Lucy The Scatterbrain
A more fitting name would be "Lucy the Retarded", but that would be downright mean. This was the first episode where Gizmo The Cat starred as a main character, and where Lucy The Cat first made her appearance. This showed pretty much what Gizmo did in his free time, Working in his basement on inventions, taking care of Kitty, etc. Lucy had come over and pretty much hung out and tagged along in all his activities. However, Lucy was literally retarded. For example, She would speak to muffins, and not let anybody eat them, believing that they were living beings. Gizmo was very irritated at this, but ignored it for the most part. But when his best friends, Micheal The Cat and Lina The Cat came over, that's when things went downhill. When Gizmo and Mike went outside to play Basketball, Lucy kept telling them to stop because they were hurting the basketball hoop. She would keep talking to the basketball hoop, telling it that she would save it from the bad people. Gizmo ended up getting ticked off to the point where he couldn't take any more of it, and told Lucy to leave. She refused to leave unless they stopped playing the game. Gizmo finally just said that he would stop, and put the basket ball hoop in the garage until she left. Gizmo said that once she was gone that he would take it back out and play again the next day. Seeing how Mike and Lina lived a long way from Gizmo, they stayed the night. However, the next day, Lucy broke into Gizmo's garage and attempted to steal the basket ball hoop in order to save it from Gizmo, and when Gizmo tried to stop her, she even went so far as to slap him. That's when he snapped. He pounced on her and attacked her. Then Gizmo's father came in and stopped the fight. He pretty much banned Lucy from ever coming to his house again. Later, Lucy showed up with an enourmous battleship. However, she didn't do anything with it. She just kind of..sat there. This began what is now known as "Battleship Tantrum Syndrom".
Since Lucy was ridiculous, Gizmo actually transformed into a dark form in that episode, and the muffins never did get eaten, The episode was considered "Non-Canon".
Metal Fusion: Metal Sonic and Metal Speedy
((There was actually a cooler name for this, but I forgot what it was.))
This was to be the first Big, Important episode with a big bad villain and an epic adventure. However, most of the details are unknown at this time. Near the end though, Metal Sonic and Metal Speedy, a robot copy of Speedy The Hedgehog and supposedly Metal Sonic's Brother, both transformed into their versions of Metal Overlord and fused together. The very concept of it was not very well thought out, but the results of the transformation was very, very deadly. It took pretty much everyone in their super forms to take it down, and it still took a long time. For a while, they couldn't hurt it. However, A strange puffball appeared and attacked it, piercing it's inpenetrable defense, and disappeared from whence he came. After that, they were able to hurt it. During the battle, Frost reunited with his long lost brother, Icicle, and the two joined forces to take it down. After the battle, It turns out that the mystery helper was, infact, the long lost father of Frost's comrade, Kirbula. Thus beginning the mystery of what happened to him all this time. It also was a perfect time to ask what happened to Icicle all this time as well.
Unfortunately, Stories changed. With the current story changes, A lot of things in this episode contradict the current facts. Therefor, this episode is deemed "Non-Canon".
The Battle of Kaoru [Smash Only]
This story was a crossover between Sonic, Kirby, and Inuyasha. Seeing how there is a big crossover here, this will outrightly be confirmed to be Non-Canon. The story was originally about Smash and InuYami, daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, and their battle against an evil demon woman named Kaoru, who possessed the body of their friend. The problem was the fact that Kaoru herself did not take any damage from being hit. But rather, Taelor, the girl she possessed, would take damage. To make matters worse, She was slowly being absorbed by the demon. By the sunset of the next day, She would be completely gone. Originally, Smash called Frost on his cell phone to come and detect her weakness, and found none. The story itself had a good plot device, however, it was executed in a pretty bad way. The roleplay was terrible, mismatched, and characters that didn't belong to either users were brought in and forgotten about. A few other people joined, but disappeared very soon afterwards. However, the RP was extremely long, long enough to be written into a book. It actually took 3&a half years to finish, and near the end, all the characters had slowly developed into their current states.
Due to the horrible execution in roleplaying, but having a great story, A remake is currently in process. "The Battle of Kaoru: Remastered".
Saving Yami [Smash Only]
Having the same settings as the last RP, Saving Yami is supposedly the sequel to "The Battle of Kaoru". Although it begun and ended during the time The Battle of Kaoru was in process. The story was about Yami, She had been kidnapped by an evil woman named Heaven, who would use her as bait to blackmail her husband, Kadaj. Kadaj gathered Smash, Frost, Kyle, and a few other faithful comrades to rescue her. Heaven used to be Kadaj's girlfriend until Kadaj left her due to her being a cold hearted person. Because of this, she murdered his first wife sometime later, and threatened to do the same with Yami. However, The team managed to trick her and save Yami, and defeat her for good.
The Unknown Hedgehog
A seemingly new villain appeared. A black hedgehog who's speed appeared to be instantaneous. He introduced himself as Unknown. For he had no given name. For reasons unknown, he kidnapped Smash's sister, Pearl, and fled into an airship/spaceship/base ((I'm sorry. I really don't remember what it was.)) with his partner: Shade The Dark Chao. The only thing on Smash's mind was to save his sister. Desperate to keep his sister safe, He and his friends pursued him. Once inside, Unknown trapped Pearl inside of a machine which, unfortunately, was made to kill whatever went inside. Smash did all that he could to free her, but found that even he was powerless to break inside. He found himself in shock, before going into a blind rage. Smash nearly killed Unknown, and heavily wounded Shade. They barely escaped with their lives.
The following day happened to be Pearl's birthday. Smash sat alone inside of his house, grieving over the loss of his sister. His friends tried to cheer him up, but to no success. Then, Unknown came into his house (without knocking, mind you) and returned his sister-Alive and well. He admitted that the Pearl in the machine was a fake, and the whole thing was a set up. Smash would have punched him in the face, but he was too relieved to find that his sister hadn't left him for good. They then celebrated her birthday, Smash wanting to get her something special just because he was happy to have her back. Of course, Unknown and Shade were not invited.
Unknown is one of the many dropped characters. Seeing as this story revolved around him being the main villain, it can't be considered canon. Also, Shade was out of character, even though this was his first appearance. It would be shameful to keep this canon in his case.
This was a direct sequel to the previous episode. Lily clarified what is now known as "Battleship Tantrum Syndrom" to be an actual syndrom. Lily temporarily turned evil, betrayed her friends, and built a battleship to terrorize the public. It was thought that it was all because she couldn't give her birthday present to Speedy last, but truly Unknown had convinced her to turn to the dark side. Eventually they managed to get Lily to come back to them. But even at this time, when the roleplays were at their worst, everyone was still wondering "What the heck was her PROBLEM!?". Although a better question would be "How in the world did she build a fully functional battleship in a day, and what exactly did she plan to do with it?" This also revealed Lily's truly bratty side. Although it was evident that she could be a pain in the past, she went over the top starting with the last episode. She found out that Speedy really didn't like her, and liked Violet instead. And because of that, she did whatever she could to abuse him. Starting with her battleship.
Due to being utterly ridiculous, this episode is officially "Non-Canon".
An Overwhelming Dilemma
This was to be the next Big Bad Ultimate roleplay in the series. Shade had taken all the chaos emeralds and had his own battleship and was trying to conquer Green Flower City, and possibly the entire world. At the same time, Dark Kirby was launching an attack on everyone. It was chaos, and there were too many problems at hand. Shade completely demolished Green Flower City by himself when he revealed that he had an entire fleet of battleships which he had crash down on the city and self destruct. Meanwhile, Dark Kirby was bent on killing Frost and stealing the Power Star from him. After fighting them for a while, they managed to fend them off for a while. Something lead them to seek something out far out into the ocean to a place called the Shadow Lands. They hired Thunder The Hedgehog to sail them out there. Once there, they investigated the spooky island until they found a cave with a portal of some sorts. They went inside and were immediately warped to a very strange place. They learned that it was called "The City of the Lost Kirbies". There they found all kinds of people who were thought to be "lost" for some time. Frost's uncle, Cheese's uncle, Flare's "True" father, etc. It was supposed to be a holy sacred realm of light sorts, yet, there was a forest full of "Evil Kirbies" directly next door to the haven. (Evil Kirbies were a sort of "subspecies of kirbies/batamons/puffballs. Pitch black kirbies with blood red eyes and menacing glares that pretty much live for murder and bloodshed. They don't seem to have eyelids either, so they can't blink. They are but a running trend of jokes nowadays rather than used for actual plots.) Of course, they had to go inside the forest to retrieve an item. Sooner or later, All of a sudden, everything went blank. All of the heroes, Including Dark Kirby of all people who was not present for quite some time in the story, were instantly warped to a blank white realm, where "The King of Evil Kirbies" was. Somehow, he was erasing time and space. Or another way to put it, Making it so that nothing existed anymore. Somehow, they managed to survive it and fight the evil king together. There was a confusing plot twist about the origins of the Power Star during the battle.
The roleplay stopped there. It was never finished. And thankfully it never will. The whole thing was confusing, overwhelming, and confusing again. There were waay too many plot twists. Frost wasn't even supposed to have an uncle. The origins of the Power Star were to remain unknown, and the City of the Lost Kirbies is a contradiction to itself. And erasing the existance of everything really can't be possible, no matter however which way you look at it. This episode took a turn for the worst, crashed, and exploded. The only surviving piece of canon is the fact that Dark Kirby struck again. Other than that, nothing else can be accepted.
The Day the Sun Came to Visit
This episode was funny, and rather creepy in a way. Unknown was trying some sort of crazy experiment with a gigantic magnet. Somehow, it backfired and ended up drawing the Sun closer to the planet. In fact, it got so close that the Sun was practically in the atmosphere. Everyone else at first thought it was just plain summer heat, but they soon came to realise that the sun seemed to be getting bigger. Once the heat advisories started to go out of control, they knew something was up. They soon found out Unknown was accidentally attracting the sun closer, and it seemed that the sun had temporarily fried his brains, as he was hallucinating on the ground. They managed to reverse the effect of the magnet and set things back to normal, and gave Unknown the scolding of his life.
Since Unknown was the cause again, this episode is Non-Canon.
The Dark Sword
This was Darkyle's first appearance in the roleplay series, but he had been (almost) well known before hand. Darkyle made his appearance as the villain. He had obtained The Dark Sword, an evil blade in which if it strikes someone, they would go into a deep coma, never to wake up. In a way, it was an instant death weapon. He was going on a rampage with it. Unfortunately, Kyle's mother happened to be one of the victims. Smash and Kyle teamed up with everyone else to find a way to defeat Darkyle and destroy the sword for good. Once they destroyed it, the curse on all the victims had been broken, and everyone regained their consciousness. However, they needed to be treated for the wound from the sword's slash.
Whether or not this episode is Canon is difficult to say. It will most likely have to go with Non-Canon, as Darkyle now has a new role which may contradict his position in this roleplay.
The Demonic Invasion [Smash Only]
This was the start of a huge intermission between the main plot. Gizmo met a demon rebel who resembled a hedgehog, named Natalie. Natalie told him about her race of demons, which were planning to invade. She warned Gizmo of the demon's nature and protected him from the invasion, fighting against her own kind. Gizmo tried to help from the sidelines, but ended up being spotted and fighting them head on. The roleplay never did get finished. However, If anything, this would probably be considered Non-Canon due to being uber creepy and having a demonic apocalypse.
Splice and the Angelic Hedgehog [Smash Only]
This was the RP introducing Cymbeline The Half Angel/Half Hedgehog. It at first started out as Smash meeting Cymbeline and becoming her friend. Cy' was unfamiliar with the city, and needed a guide. Smash did just that, as he let her on his motorcycle and gave her a free tour. However, the subject soon changed and Dr. Eggman's name was mentioned. At the sound of his name, Cymbeline became shocked, and accidentally revealed her angelic wings-in the public. With everyone staring and all eyes on her, Cymbeline ran away and hid in a forest. There she met Splice. Splice talked to her, hoping to find out what was wrong and offering to help, and soon becoming her friend. Actually, She apparently fell in love with him at first sight. (Atleast, after he introduced himself.) The two of them stayed together talking for a long while. Cy trusted Splice enough to tell her about her origins. She was a half angel from the Angel Kingdom. Splice was awestruck to have met an angel. Later, Splice eventually finished up the tour of the city once things calmed down and met up with Smash.
For the most part, These events are canon, but they will be slightly altered to fit the story of Splice The Hedgehog. Therefor, the episode itself is Non-canon. The events are split up across the game.
