History

Creation and Life on the ARK

Shima was, of course, born on Space Colony Ark with her sister, Hali, and her half-brother, Shadow. She was born a little kid, unlike Shadow, but was separated from her mother and father soon after she was born. Her sister was also taken with Ruby. Xilax went off on an unknown journey. When Shima turned fifteen, the researchers started experimenting on Shima, despite Professor Gerald's wishes. A terrible accident happened that caused Shima to turn evil and attack the researchers. Ruby was called back after Shadow rendered his sister unconsious. A special crystal was given to her to control her powers, which was placed on a white choker for her. Xilax waited in the shadows, listening. He then vowed to get the jewel to destroy the earth. Then the horrible accident happened, resulting in the closing of the Ark, the death of Maria, and Shima being put in a stasis pod for over 50 years.

Shima the Hedgehog is a very shy person. She does not like meeting new people, unless she is with her brother, Shadow, or her secret crush,

Sonic, she will rarely speak in front of people she has never met. If Shima is confronted with a situation threating to go out of hand, Shima will try her best to gain control and lead them to a peaceful compromise. If not, the glovs are off and she will help settle things once and for all. Since Shima was experimented on when she lived on the Space Colony Ark, she has become incredibly emotionaly unstable. If she becomes greatly angered or upset, bad things usually tend to happen. Shima will turn into her anti-form, Dark Shima, a great dark beast with incredible power. Other than that, she is very energenic, and will do anything for her friends, even if it means sacrificing her own life in the process. Shima is often used for her powerful Dark form, and that is a lot! She is also prone to getting kidnapped, being unconscious for an episode or two. She also gets seasick easily. Sometimes, though, she can act as carefree as Sonic or as mysterious as Shadow. So, to summariaze it all up, she has three basic presonalities: the shy, quiet one, the mysterious one, and the energetic, cocky one.

Trivia

Shima has four different designs. The first was named Leah. She had hair like Amy's with a black top and pants that had flames on them. The next was Annie, which has two designs. Annie and Amy looked identical, only with red hair and her dress was black. Her next design was Shima's original clothes before her hair grew longer and she had a long coat on.
Shima ages like Sonic and his friends after she came out of the capsule. She also always ages with her creator.
ShimatheHedgehog's mother thought of Shima's name.
She was created about 2 years after her creator saw Shadow in SA2B.
She was the second REAL creation of ShimatheHedgehog. The first was Leaf the Hedgebat.
She actually had three other siblings before just Hali was created. They were: Scarlett the Hedgehog, Scar the Hedgehog and Sadie the Hedgehog.
Her burn mark is only shown once, and that is when the wrap around it falls off.
The word "Shima" is a japanese word for "island".
