Shade was created by Dr. Eggman to as the ultimate creation to defeat Sonic and his friends. He quickly betrayed The Doctor and ended up being on his own. After many events, he was forced into having to team up with Team Sonic to stop Eggman and grew to like the group. He currently stay with them, training to surpass Sonic and Shadow, and learning how to use their techniques as well as mix them.
