The New School Year[]

Come one come all... Westwood has once again opened to the public! As the beautiful, majestic looking building glows in the bright sun, the large decorative gates open to the incoming students and faculty. Soon, the campus is thriving with people, young and old. As this is happening, dorms are being moved into and people are getting tours around the campus to see the gym, football field, and other parts of the grounds as well.

Reens had her backpack slung over one shoulder, her schoolbooks and supplies loaded inside. What was funny about her was that she was wearing a brown sheath with a golden long-sword inside over her uniform. "Ah, what a most wondrous day! I shall beest able to meeteth some fellow students and participate in classes hither! Anon, whither doth i wend?"

Since it was indeed only Sunday, classes had yet to begin. Students were simply coming in, finding their places and getting settled in.

"Now! Annabelle, I know you'll do great here!"

"I know, I know..." The wolf blinked as she folded her arms, not in her uniform as of yet as she wore a crop top and a skirt, with grey thigh highs. She stood in front of her mother and father, currently getting ready to bring her things inside the girls dorm.

"Oh I know you'll do well! You're already doing TV shows so you'll blow them away!" Her mother wrapped her arms around her as the she wolf sighed, hugging her back, "Now you call us if anything goes wrong! We love you sooo much!"

"Love you too..." Annabelle sighed, before watching them jump back into the Range Rover, and drive off, "Thank. GOD." She groaned a bit, immediately taking her phone and scrolling through her phone to text a friend as it seemed.

"Young miss...?" An adult voice called.

"Hm?" Looking up, she noticed a tall, yet curvy middle aged woman who appeared to be a Doberman.

"I request you move along so other parents may drop off their children...Hm...?" She squinted her eyes, "You look familiar...Acting major...?"

"Yes ma'am." Annabelle stashed her phone as they stared at each other for a bit, before the woman snapped her fingers with a small smile.

"Annabelle Rich. I never forget a students OR extremely talented persons face." She held out a hand, "I am Westwood's head mistress, Ms. Vivian Meadows. A pleasure."

Ooooh snap. Its the principal...Annabelle blinked as she gave the woman a firm handshake, hoping her hands weren't sweaty, "The pleasure is all mine Headmistress Meadows."

"Very polite..." The woman let go, "Anyway, I suggest you head for the dormatories to get situated. Do you need help...?"

"No ma'am." Annabelle shook her head as her tail slowly began to grow, "I can handle it."

"Oh my. Well. Keep in mind, using powers for unauthorized uses, such as harming others or numerous other frowned upon actions on campus are prohibited. Am I clear?" She spoke softly, watching the canine grab a few of her bags with said tail.

"Yes ma'am."

"Very good. Welcome to Westwood Miss Rich." With this, the woman wondered back towards the main building, meeting with parents and students along the way.

"Ugh..." Anna sighed a bit before she grabbed her smaller bags, and headed for the girls dorm.

Reens perked her ears up and saw Annabelle. Seeing as she might be some help, she followed her, but shrank back since she didn't know her. Taking a deep breath, Reens practiced what she would say. "Pardon me, ma'am. Doth thee knoweth whither the girls' dorms art? I has't not a map and i just did get hither a few minutes ago." She nodded and straightened her sheath, getting back into character.

A long, slim, black car began to pull up. And out of it, stepped a cloaked figure, having some green ears poking from the top of it. The car began to pull off, as the figure picked up a large bag and began to look around as it walked. Suddenly, he took a wrong direction as he bumped into someone. He fell down to the ground, his bag hitting the ground also.

Exiting the male dorms was a slim arctic fox, despite his slender stature, he cut quite an imposing figure, he looked pretty rich too, the young man brushed his hair to his side, he had no bags with him seemingly dropping them off in his dorm after arriving, he had a slight scowl on his face but didn't seem upset, atleast until a cloaked guy walked into him, the fox stepped back a bit, glowering at the other. "Watch it." The fox growled "What, can't you see with that hood over your eyes, asshat." The fox loomed over the now floored figure, what a prick.

The figure got back up, scooting from the fox and grabbing his bag. As he stood up, his height could be confirmed close to the fox's, except about two centimeters shorter. He then tried to walk away from him.

The fox got closer, grabbing the figure by the arm to stop him from leaving. "Oi, you don't just walk into someone and then try and walk away without saying anything, twat." The fox said with a snarl. "Why don't you take off that stupid hood and apologize to me like you should."

"..." Annabelle stared at the stranger, as if hearing her talk in a different language, "...Excuse me...?" She didn't have time for this. She only shook her head, and continued towards the building she was indeed looking for. Studying the map of this place wasn't a waste of time after all...

(( Hm...Imma make Anna single for this RP just because...Hell IDK lol... *just wanted to say something so it didn't seem like Annabelle was cheating* tis an AU, lol~ ))

((Anna you just removed my stuff, when you get an editing conflict place the stuff back in rather than overwriting, thanks.))

The figure took of its hood, revealing its green face.

"I'm sorry for bumping into you, now may I go to the dorm please?" Hectic asked.

The fox stepped out the way, motioning for the hedgehog to pass. "Try not to walk out of any window, Dickhead." he laughed to himself before walking off towards the main building, trying to learn the layout of the place.

(( GAH - IMSORRY D: pleasedontbeangryIdidntmeantoo- *cries* ))

(( *Pats* No, don't cry. It's all alright. :) ))

The hedgehog then proceeded to walk to the dorm, mumbling words under his breath as he went inside.

(( Okie ;^; I was using the mobile version...and my phone is super fidgty from time to time so that's probably why =~= ))

The boys dorm was quite neat and very much so modern compared to the way it looked on the outside. Both girl and boy dorms were the absolute same, despite decor for obvious reasons. With a large room off to the side with games and a place that almost looked like a mini theater, the place spelled out rich kids school. Who else knew what the place had to offer! Besides the pool, on campus Starbucks/coffe shops, and other things...

Parents and their male soon-to-be-Westwood students/returning students were filling the room, but not so much so too make it super crowded and uncomfortable. Most early birds had come and drop their children off already during the wee hours in the morning, so a good half of the students were already settled in and or getting their schedules for classes.

Reens looked up to see Annabelle walking away. "I guess yond's whither i'm did suppose to wend. i better followeth that lady to maketh sure i'm right." She made her way to the girls' dorms, scratching her head. "I desire i didn't offend that lady with mine own words. i'm just roleplaying."

A blue rabbit with holes on the end of his ears got out of a very large car. As it drove away, he sighed, walking onto campus. "Man, why did Tiny have to drop me in a place where I don't even know anyone? He knows how I am around new people. I just hope that I can play the invisible student card." He lightly grinned. "Heck, maybe no one will notice." He had a sweatdrop on his head.

As the she wolf wondered along the sidewalk towards the building a few yards away now, she raised an eyebrow and rolled her eyes, readjusting herself so she could make sure she wasn't at risk of dropping her items. Perhaps she over-packed... Bah. Whatever. After seeing how large the dorm rooms were, she had more than enough room. This WAS a rich kids school after all.

"Ugh." She huffed a bit too herself as Reens caught up, "Listen chick. Save it for the Shakespeare plays and that Dungeons and Dragons stuff, OK...?" She muttered as her ears twitched,  hearing a car start to pull up besides the two. The car was an apple green color with sparkles in the paint, which made it shine whenever the light hit it. The driver, a canine girl with priceless sunglasses, glanced over at the two as her friends seemed busy laughing and giggling.

"Look! New girls!" The canine called out.
"Is that...Annabelle Rich?" The red headed lioness called out, making all the girls look up.
"That's my name don't wear it out." Anna called out, slowing down. The driver slipped her sunglasses off before looking her up and down and smirking, as if preparing to insult her, "Nice meeting you Rich. Welcome to my school!" She laughed, before slipping the shades back on, and driving towards the girls dorms parking lot.

"..." Annabelle blinked, realizing just who that girl was..."...Courtney Dove...? I had no idea that attention whore was going here...I thought all the stories were just rumors but...that Queen B!tch vibe is coming off hard..." She sighed as she continued to walk.

With a sigh, Reens shook her head. "Looks like the popular ones has't arriv'd. i just desire i wonneth't receiveth into any ado with those folk. Anon, whither shouldst mine own cubiculo beest? I haven't hath taken mine own schedule yet." She dug into her backpack and pulled out her phone, which was an iPhone 6 Plus.

"Oh my God." Annabelle groaned out loud at the girls voice, quickening her pace, "MODERN English for God sake..." She muttered to herself, already finding that the people at this school were the kinds she honestly couldn't stand...She wasn't one for being down right mean such as Courtney Dove, but she was sure people could tell when she was done with them in more ways than one. She really just wished she was at home now...binge watching TV shows and Marvel Movies until she passed out in the home theater. Her family had only moved into that estate a month ago and they just ship her off? She growled to herself, baring her fangs at the thought, "Those traitors." She muttered, before soon reaching the girls dorm. Looking it over, she narrowed her eyes before wondering inside. Many a girls were dressed in priceless name brands. She was just in her usual casuals at the moment.

"Where do I start...?" She blinked, looking around.

Meanwhile, in the boys dorm, a few guys sat around in the main lobby, conversing with one another. One of them, a brown and black wolf, had shades sitting atop his head as he talked with a blonde ram, and a blue hawk.

Hectic already was in his school outfit, and found it quite fitting, but also tight. But, otherwise, it was all alright. He was gonna go get some friends.

"Hmm..." Hectic looked around for anyone he could make contact with first, till he spotted the group of guys. He proudly went over to them.

"Ey!" A bat came up behind Hectic, heading over to the group of guys as he sat with them, "Whats up?" He smirked, greeting his old friends as they greeted him back.

"Danteee!" They all laughed, before he sat with them, "Whats up man? You got any word on parties comin up...?" The wolf asked.

"Yeah but they aren't for a while man..." The bat answered, "But I know one thing..." He whispered, "You're gonna need to make sure you're READY for em!"

Reens' ears drooped as she looked around, seeing the crowd of females. "Alas, thither art a gross amount of females in hither. I just desire not to drown."

Annabelle approached the front desk, where a golden retriever woman in her mid 30s was. She was busy talking to a young woman, handing her a key card and a few other items while she was at it. "Miss?" She called to Annabelle, seeing her waiting at the counter.

"Oh, yes, I ah...Don't know how this works..." The wolf's ears fell as the woman gave her a sympathetic look.

"Don't worry. Just give me your name." The woman spoke.

"Annabelle Rich." Anna spoke, before the woman typed the name into her computer and pulled up a file. The wolf waited patiently as a paper was soon printed out, and she gathered a few items and handed them to her, along with a keycard she had retrieved from a large drawer.

"Here you are Miss Rich! When you're done settling in, they're giving students schedules in the main building. There's also a map in that packet I gave you so you can start to learn your way around. If you have any questions, just look for Mrs. Goldstein, that's me."

"Alright...Thank you!" Annabelle liked this lady! Perhaps she was in charge of the dorms here. A very nice woman. Usually nice meant a terrible bad side when messed with, so she would rather be nice and patient with the authority figures here...

As she headed up the steps, her super powered tail assisting her along the way, She reached the second floor, where her room was said to be...These rooms...Were absolutely impressive! She knew that it wouldn't be crowded and cramped but...Damn...this was a lot of space! Some rooms were modern and sleek, others were simple for students who most likely couldn't afford one of the more higher class rooms...It was almost like a hotel...She wondered if there were even single student rooms! But that would be way too good to be true...Would it....?

"213...?" She stopped, noticing the room number above a door before she sighed, "Please be a good roommate, please be a good roommate..." As she repeated this to herself, she put the key card through the scanner before the red light turned green, and she entered. This room smelled absolutely clean and fresh, with most of the room empty and white...And look, there was someone already there! She had claimed the normal bed to the left, and had a bunch of fashion items spread out all over the bed. Her side was already decorated with fashion posters, and other pictures of friends and family it seems...

Val walked out of the main building, his welcome pack clutched in his hand, he would head back to his dorm but he didn't want to be weird and get there before his dorm mate, he leaned agianst a wall and pulled his phone out, seemingly texting some friends.

A new arrival happened to be walking towards the boys dorm, a nineteen year old human male of Egyptian descent with dyed blonde hair that still showed the original dark brown hair color at the roots. With a few tattoos on the right side of his face and hazy blue eyes with he left eyebrow studded with three silver piercings. One thing of note was that he had a gold and a silver ring worn on his middle fingers, with both resembling a snake eating its own tail.

He wore the student uniform with a casual smirk on his face, he had a rare skin disorder that resulted in the excessive drying of the skin in a way that makes the skin look like the scales of a reptile, though in his case the pattern seemed to make him look more like some sort of creepy love child between a snake and someone who had way too much to drink at a bar one night.

"Ladies and whoever else is here, Emrys Vaughn has arrived!" He said using an inside voice when he entered the boys dormitory.

Reens noticed that a short line had gathered in front of Mrs. Goldstein, so she got in line and smoothed down her quills as she waited. I just hope I get a good roommate... who doesn't mind roleplaying... and the fact that this is just a front for my insecurities...

Hectic was relaxing in the boy's dorm, sitting on a couch cushion as he was daydreaming. "I wonder whom my roommate shall be.." He thought happily. "I hope that he won't mind the fact that I'm polite and always cheerful and nice. Wait! Why am I even thinking about this?! I should go and see!" He thought quickly.

With that, he got up and quickly went to the front desk.

Emrys looked around for a place to lounge, giving no heed to what others thought of his appearance.

"Whats with that tool...?" The ram blinked, raising an eyebrow at the newcomer who seemed to want all eyes on him. The bat named Dante scoffed wih a smirk as he turned to look at Emry, before looking back at the others, "This is a rich kid school. Of course people are gonna be full of themselves." This made the others chuckle.

A bat in his mid late 20s, looking as if he could be a student, stood at the main desk in the boys dorm, helping young men find their rooms and giving them their respective key cards, maps of the campus, and anything else they required, "Next...?" He spoke, looking rather bored.

"Come on up miss!" Mrs. Goldstein called to Reens, waiting for her to come up so she could look her up in the system, "Don't be shy!" She chuckled, giving off such an innocent and harmless aura.

"Hey!" The canine that Annabelle found in her room bounded on up to the wolf, waving happily to her as the wolf blinked, blushing shyly.

"Um...hi." Annabelle spoke softly, "I guess you're my roommate...?"

"Yup." The canine grinned, "I'm Kristy Summers." She held out a hand as Annabelle put down the bags in her hands, before shaking the girls.

"I'm Annabelle Rich..." Anna spoke, still feeling quite shy as she saw the girls face change, and they both seemed to suddenly become surprised. However, Annabelle spoke first, "Wait...Kristy Summers....as in...The model...?"

"Yeah! Are you THE Annabelle Rich?!" Kristy grinned, before watching Annabelle nod and she jumped up and down like a giddy child on Christmas, "This is so AMAZIIING! I didn't think any already successful people would be going here besides...Courtney Dove..."

"Quite the b!tch..." Annabelle spoke up.

"So you've met...?" Kristy raised an eyerow.

"On the way to the dorms yeah..."

"Did she have three others?"

"Yup."

"That's her clique of wannabe stepping stones. The rabbit is Heather, the main wannabe, Pheobe is an attention whore who doesn't want ANYONE ELSE in the spotlight unless it's Courtney, and Andrea is the lazy, downright mean-for-no-reason, do my homework for me kind of person. Everyone treats them like royalty, and it's absolutely disgusting cause Courtney gets other students to do her dirty work..."

"Textbook mean girl clique...I see." Annabelle sighed.

"But lets not focus on that!" Kristy spoke, "Come on in and get comfy!" She looked to her tail, "Wow...that's pretty impressive!"

"Hm...?" Anna looked to her tail, "Oh yeah...I only recently found out I could do this...I can make it as long as I want, and the fur can turn solid to become spikes. It's also super powerful."

"Just be careful. Westwood's pretty butthurt about people using powers on campus."

"Right...."

Reens' ears perked up as she shyly went up to Mrs. Goldstein. "Um, hi. I'm Reens Maricina, but if you can't find that it might be under Rain Maricina. I hope I'm getting a good roommate. Um, please excuse the sword. I'm just, um, using it for protection."

"Um..." The woman blinked as she looked to the sword, "I'm sorry to say but...you do understand that having weapons on campus is breaking school rules Miss Maricina...With all of the security monitoring the campus 24/7 there's really no need..." She spoke softly, "The last time a student brought a weapon it was stolen from them. Yes it was returned when the culprits were caught but it is rather frowned upon." She spoke, feeling rather upset for her, but sighed, "But ... if you refuse to part with it I'll warn you that when the teachers make their rounds to do surprise room checks and they find it, you will be in deep trouble, understood...?"

"Oh. I-I see... Um, I really don't have anywhere else to put it, and I kinda don't want to be away from it. ... Um, is there a safe place that I could put it? Like, um, a vault or something? It's really valuable to me and, um, I would hate for it to be stolen," she whispered, taking off the sheath and putting it on the desk. "I, um, won't wear it around campus, but, um, I would like to at least have it after hours, if, um, that's possible."

"I'm sorry but we really have no place to put it...Students' items are their own responsibilities. Especially if it's an item that they're not meant to have..." She spoke, looking around to see if any teachers were around.

Emrys heard what Dante said, and actually laughed along with him. "Yeah man, that's the spirit! But let's ask ourselves who the tool is... The one with a weird ass skin disorder who doesn't care what he looks like or the three twats who don't have the cojones to say it to my face~?"

He said with an easygoing smile on his face, looking down at them considering most mobians are generally shorter than humans.

"Alright smart a$$. You're a tool. You happy?" Dante smirked as the others chuckled.

"We didn't even care about your looks...Do you feel like you gotta point it out to everyone...? What are you a girl at heart?" The ram raised an eyebrow, before the group went back to talking.

Reens sighed and pulled out her phone. "Um, would you mind if I texted my grandpa? He doesn't live far from here and he should be able to pick it up. I'm, ah, sorry for the inconvenience." Her ears drooped again, with her face becoming slightly reddened.

"And you're a pussy you product of bestiality~" Emrys snickered. "Oh and I bet you couldn't throw a decent punch good sir~" He said as he walked away.

"What an asshole..." The group rolled their eyes, as the ram shook his head with an unimpressed smirk.

"Who the hell does he think he is...? He's like the male version of Courtney. Like anyone gives a flying f@#k about a douche like him..." He pulled his phone out of his pocket, "He keeps that up someones gonna gang on him."

"And I can't wait to watch." The hawk spoke, making the others laugh.

"Oh go ahead, it's no problem!" Mrs. Goldstein smiled to Reens as she moved over a few steps to her right to help a few other incoming students.

"Yes...uh...hello..." Hectic said to the bat, trying to gather up the courage to ask aloud.

"May I....sorry, I don't know how this works..." Hectic said, getting a bit reddened, as he curled his hair.

Emrys snickered when he found a spot away from the other males. 'Heh.. Three little furries, let's see how fun they are~'

A few grains of salt crawled up his arm as he started heading towards his room.

'Hey Grandpa, can you come over to the school and pick up my sword? I can't have it on school grounds. I feel kinda protection-less without it though...' Not even a few minutes later, she got a reply. 'Right outside the door, sweetie. Just let me get outta the car first, okay?' Reens grinned, grabbing the sword sheath and running outside to meet her grandfather at the front entrance.

"Now I know you didn't want me to worry, but just in case, I got you something," he said, pulling out a small canister of pepper spray. "Um, I dunno if we can have that either, Granpa." "Well, how's my grandchild going to protect herself?" Reens laughed, shaking her head. "I know judo, Granpa. I'm pretty sure I can handle myself." He sighed and smiled. pulling her in for a hug. "You need anything else, you call me right away." "Don't worry, I will.," Reens replied, kissing his cheek as he slipped back into his car and drove away. Man, Granpa's the best.

The group of guys glanced at Hectic, some of them raising eyebrows while others just gave him a semi-blank stare, before the wolf, Jack, spoke up, "Can we help you?" He narrowed his eyes, a bit suspicious since he was a bit irritated after dealing with people he didn't like, "C'mon, spit it out bro." He chuckled.

Just then, Annabelle wondered down the stairs with Kristy next to her as they looked over the people in the main lobby.

"Man this place is packed..." Annabelle blinked, "Is everyone here rich...?"

"Most of them are." Kristy sighed, folding her arms, "But very few get in by getting a crap ton of scholarships to pay for it all. And even then, it's pretty rare when someone can afford to stay all 4 years. This is usually known as just a place for rich kids to be dumped when their parents don't want them, or if they don't wanna deal with stupid public school. Ech." She shook her head, "But thanks to tall the social statuses a lot of people here get away with being total snobs, b!tches and a$$holes to each other, and anyone they consider inferior. I've seen enough karma to learn from that."

"Hence why Courtney is the Queen Bee. Understandable." Annabelle nodded.

"But enough about that. I can tell you about cliques and clubs later. Right now, we should head to the school and get our schedules." Kristy spoke, before Annabelle nodded and they headed for the exit.

Emrys chuckled, walking around and inquiring about where he would get his schedule. He was.. Noticeably getting mixed responses and reactions from his odd looks but he was undeterred, pressing on with a smile on his face to conceal what he thought of other students.

'Rich bloody furries and pricks.. I got here through scholarships and I'll be damned if I'm dissed by pretentious snobs who think they're better than me just because they have more money...~'

"You know what? I just want to get a room. How do I do that??" Hectic finally said after a long pause.

Reens smiled as she went back up to the desk, her luggage rolling along behind her. She went back up to the desk and waited until a few more students filed away to approach it again. "So, um, Mrs. Goldstein, do you happen to know where my room is? If at all possible, I'd like to see what I'll be dealing with in the future."

Hectic waited patiently for the bat to reply with an action, as he pulled out an iPhone 6 Plus, seemingly playing a game on it with the action-packed soundtrack coming from the phone.

"Go to the front desk...like everyone else is doing..." Dante sipped from his bottle of Coke before swallowing the gulp and pulling out his out Galaxy S7 and looking through his texts.

"Ah, yes, on the 3rd floor. You're rooming with another girl that goes by the name Charlie. She's a meerkat." She smiled softly to her as she pulled out a few things and handed them to Reens, which included her key card, "If you have any questions, let me know, OK?" She smiled softly.

"Thanks, Mrs. Goldstein. I'll make sure to do that," Reens replied with a shy giggle as she took the key card and other things. She then started to head up to her room, slightly worried about her new roommate. I hope she's nice enough... and doesn't mind my quirks... at least I finally know who I'll be rooming with... Well, here's hoping to a new friendship. Reens opened the door with her key card and stepped inside, whistling. "Grandpa would flip over if he found out I was staying like this. This place is a palace!"

"Hm. Have a good day Miss Reens!" She said with a smile. With this she went back to work.

"Uh...?" A short, lanky figure was setting up her sheets on the bed before she turned around and looked too see her new roommate. Her heart raced as she rubbed her arm, and forced herself to wonder over a bit, yet keep her distance at the same time, "H-Hi..." She forced out, "You must be my roommate, right...?" She asked shyly. On her side of the room were a few posters. Some of them science related, others nerdy with Marvel characters, and some having Japanese anime characters, "Um...if all my stuff on the wall is bothering you, l-let me know..." She said softly, staring at the floor before she pushed her glasses up farther on her nose.

Emrys would have continued to internally monologue to himself, but he was derailed by one very important issue. That being that he didn't have a room, so with an amused smirk he made his way towards Mrs. goldstein's office in order to actually get a room.

On the way he took off his two rings and the piercings on his face, secretly hoping he'd unnerve at least someone with the way his skin looked more like the scales on a snake than human skin.

"Oh yeah..." Hectic whispered, his face flushed red. He went back in line, waiting patiently.

"Are you kidding me? This is awesome!" Reens replied with a small squeal. "I have a roommate who loves most of the same stuff I do! Keep it on the wall, I'm gonna go over to my side." She grinned and lugged her suitcases over to her side of the room. Opening her first suitcase, she started plastering her own nerdy posters on the wall, including some anime and medieval stuff. She also took out a long medieval dress and a suit of armor and hung them in her closet. Finishing up, she emptied the suitcase and opened the other one. "You must be Charlie, right? It's an honor to meet you! I hope I'm not too loud..."

Mr. Dockson looked over too see Hectic wondering over, "Welcome to the Westwood boys dorm, blah blah blah, how can I help you...?" He asked in a bored voice.

"U-uh...?" The girl seemed to be extremely surprised as she watched Reens start to open her stuff. She shook a bit, but it didn't mean that she was scared or frightened. Just overwhelmed as she watched her hang up the medieval clothing and her eyes seemed to light up, "Y-y-yeah...I'm C-Charlie..." She nodded with a slight stutter, "N-no, you're fine..."

"Eh?" Reens looked over to see the shivering Charlie, and her grin softened. "Aw, there's no need to be scared of me. I haven't even introduced myself yet! Silly me, huh?" She held out her robotic arm and gently took Charlie's hand. "I'm Rain Selena Maricina, but everyone calls me Reens; I answer to both." She looked over to her bed and face-palmed. "Duh, I didn't pack my favorite sheets! They had Kirito and Asuna on them... sigh, oh well." Her ears perked up and she looked at Charlie with a sideways glance. "Wanna see me with the dress on?" she winked.

The timid meerkat shook a bit more at the sight of the robotic arm, but was ultimately in awe over it. She swallowed nervously before reaching out and shaking it timidly, before nodding, "N-nice too meet you..." She muttered a bit, being a bit fidgety. She listened intently too the girls words as she rubbed her arm a bit, and blinked as she heard the question, "U-um...I-I guess...I-If you want to show me." She responded.

Reens grinned, her eyes sparkling. "No one's ever said yes before... Be right back," she squealed as she took the dress off the rack and went into the bathroom. She took off her clothes quickly, making sure the door was closed first. She had left it a crack open but didn't know it. She also smoothed down her quills and hair, putting them into an up-do instead if a braid. After a touch of makeup, she was ready. "Okay, here we are!" She twirled into the room, the dress flowing around her. "Whaddya think? Too much?"

Hectic turned back around; in the back of his mind, of course, he was still cheerful. Even his face told the expression.

He scrambled back in front. "I would like my room number, please." He said pleasantly.

"Wow...." Charlie marveled in awe at the dress, blushing a bit as she nodded, "It's amazing..." She responded too her, before moving over closer too get a better look.

"Name...?" The bat sighed, as he began to type on his computer, his fingers flying and turning into complete blurs, "Would you like too know who you're rooming with as well...?" He asked.

The sleeve of her dress slid off her shoulder a bit, so Reens pulled it up before anything could be seen. "I bought it online, but it was too big, so I had to alter it to fit me. Glad you like it, Charlie!" She grinned before her phone pinged with a text message. Looking at it, she growled and threw her phone gently on the bed before huffing and crossing her arms.

"Hectic." He said in a formal tone. "And yes. I would like to know who my roommate is, please."

Charlie nodded too her roommate, feeling that this year she may have gotten quite lucky with such a nice girl..."Huh...?" She blinked as Reens threw the phone gently at her bed, "Um...is there something wrong...?" She asked, wondering over a bit.

"Fine..." The bat sighed in an annoyed tone before pulling up his information, "Room 317, third floor...You're with a Mr. Emrys Vaughn. Here." He grabbed the key card, information packet and anything else he would need before handing it all too him.

"Thank you, sir." Hectic said. He grabbed and toke the materials and began to walk away quickly.

"Ugh, this stupid, boorish, brainless... ooh, I could just hit him upside his mollycoddling head! He never leaves me alone! Every single day the same text... 'Ooh baby, let's hang out again. I miss you, babe.' I wouldn't "hang out" if he was the last man on earth!" Reens paused, sitting on her bed. "He broke my heart... and I'm not gonna let him do it again. I'm not... s-strong enough..."

"Yeah, sure..." The bat waved him off as he goes back too typing.

Charlie blinked, her head quickly wrapping around what Reens was talking about. She wondered over, wrapping her arms around her, "L-let me know if this is too awkward..." She whispered a bit, rubbing her shoulder.

Tears streamed down Reens' face as she reached up and touched Charlie's arm. "No, it's alright," she reassured her. "Thank you for being a friend to me. Right now you're the only one I've got."

"Oh...!" Charlie was quite touched by the girls words, having been always picked on and considered a nuisance to others, "A...friend?" She blinked shaking a bit, "It's...been so long since I've been called a friend..." She seemed shocked and awed by her words.

Reens arched her head to look at Charlie closer. "Really? But you're so nice. And you like the same things I do. And you understand me. Why wouldn't anyone want you as a friend? If they can't accept you for who you are, regardless of what they think, then they're jerks."

"Well...yeah..." Charlie spoke, "It was...mainly cause of what Courtney Dove would say about me cause...well, I was crushing on her boyfriend from a long time ago..." She looked down, "We use to be really close...But then...Her boyfriend and I started being friends and she took that the wrong way...so she told everyone I was trying too flirt with him and then she...did all sorts of stuff to me..." She whimpered a bit as she spoke, before shaking her head, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be crying over my own problems like that..."

"Forgive my French, but by the way you talk about her, she's a grade-A b**ch," Reens grumbled, her eyebrows crinkled in anger. "I haven't actually met her, or her posse for that matter, but in your case I wouldn't want to. Besides, who needs to hang out with wh**es like that when all they do is put you down?"

Charlie blinked, fidgeting a bit as she nodded, "I-I know...but..." She sighed, "All those years ago...when I was going to public school...I wanted to do amazing things but didn't think I was good enough...Courtney was the one that told me to go out and follow my dreams, so I came here with her...then that's when it all went wrong..."

Reens sighed and laid her head in her pillow. "Heh, at least you had someone who cared about your dreams. Everyone always calls me the weirdo who won't ever make it in society. Well, besides my grandpa, anyway. He always picks me up when I feel down."

Charlie sat down on her bed and sighed a bit, "I'm sorry to hear that...but you're here now, right? Who says you can't do what your heart tells you?" She looked down and crossed her legs before her ears fell flat, "...The person who inspired me thinks I'm a nobody now..."

Reens shrugged. "Who cares what she thinks? If you think you're awesome, then that's all that really matters." She slid off the bed and went to her suitcase, pulling out a change of clothes. "I'm gonna change out of this so we can get some food or something. I haven't eaten since I got here. Think the grub's good?"

"I don't think I'm that interesting..." She scratched her head, "I'm just another nerd..." she blinked as she looked up, nodding, "Y-yeah. The food here is pretty amazing...The school even has a Starbucks on campus. Considering it's super private and all, it would make sense..." She blinked, remembering something, "Oh, do you have your uniform?" She asked softly.

"Psh, yeah," Reens replied, smirking as she held it up. "Don't wanna get detention, amiright? Lemme know when you're ready, okay?"

"O-OK. I'm ready when you are." The meerkat spoke up as she stood up, making sure her clothes were in order before she slipped her shoes on.

Reens exited the bathroom a moment later, putting on the last piece of her uniform. "Alrighty. Where do you wanna go? Just to the cafe or to Starbucks first? You pick."

"O-oh, Reens." Charlie smiled softly with a chuckle, "We only have to be in uniform during class hours and a few other things." She scratched her head, "Sorry, I didn't mean to get it mixed up..."

A sweat-droplet appeared on Reens' forehead. "It's fine, it's fine. Besides, I kinda like this thing, although usually I hate wearing skirts. Dresses I don't mind, but only for cosplay." She smoothed down her skirt and grabbed her purse. "Lead the way, Madame."

"O-Oh, right." Charlie nodded as she headed for the door, opening it up and heading out as she waited patiently for Reens to follow, so she could close and lock the door behind them both.

Reens exited the doorway, letting Charlie lock it before checking her wallet. "I only have a $20, is that enough? I'd think for such a prestigious school, it'd be expensive."

"Well, you should be able to get something on your stomach." Charlie explained, "The main meals in the school for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all free as long as you've got your student ID. Anything else sold on campus costs money. But the stuff that's sold, like the McDonald's and restaurants are so... SO good..." She explained, "Heh, I think all of our money is really going towards all the food..."

"Huh," Reens replied in surprise as she stuffed her money back in her wallet. "Well, cool. Might as well go see what they have to offer. I just hope we won't run into any of our old 'friends' while we're there," she sighed, marking air quotes with her fingers.

Charlie looked to the floor, "Y-yeah...same..." She spoke, before blinking, "And maybe we could pick up our schedules while we're out too...! Mainly to tell the staff and stuff that we're here, and ready for class, otherwise, they'll think we're skipping and take us off the homeroom rosters." She warned, "They're really strict about attendance here..."

"Crap, I totally forgot about that," Reens groaned, giving herself a facepalm. "Well, what are we waiting for? You want to get the schedules first and then eat or eat first and get schedules after? It's really up to you; I'm okay with either."

"Hhm..." Charlie tapped her chin, "Let's get the schedules first, that way we won't forget about them so easily." The meerkat replied, rubbing her arm a bit as she shrugged her shoulders.

Reens nodded with a small grin. "Sounds good to me, Charlie! Let's get going," she added, picking up her school bag.

The meerkat smiled, before nodding quickly and heading towards the stairs, "Follow me, I know this school like the back of my hand!" She waited at the top of the stairs for her before heading down.

Heading up the same stairs was a brown female bird carrying a large suitcase. She wore a white hoodie with black trim and blue jeans. She had light-brown hair, arching upward in the front and sloping down to her back. She was too busy studying a map in her free hand to notice the meerkat heading down...

"Charlie! Look out!" Reens yelped as the two almost collided. She looked over at the bird, cocking her head. "Uh, hey? You mind putting your map down for a second? You almost ran into my friend."

"Huh? Oh, sorry!" The bird girl said, looking up from her map. "I'm just, uh, a little lost. And this map is not helpful." She rotated the paper, trying to understand it. "I think I'm looking at the third floor...?"

"O-oh!!" Charlie gasped in surprise as she practically knocked over another girl on the stairs, ashamed of herself for not paying attention, "Nono, it's fine, I was too busy daydreaming!" The Meerkat spoke, before blinking as she looked at the bird, "The 3rd floor?" She asked, before tapping her chin, "Well, if you keep going down this main hall, and turn left, you should find the next staircase to the 3rd floor." She responded, "I'd...be careful of going near the 4th floor staircase though..." She muttered, "From there up is where all the single student dorm rooms are...where most of the popular, meaner girls stay since they have a lot more money to spend..." She sighed.

"Hmph. They're just lucky I didn't buy out the whole building..." the bird muttered under her breath before suddenly realizing something. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry... um... My name's Melissa," she said semi-awkwardly, pocketing her map and holding out her free hand to shake.

"O-oh! I'm Charlie, and this is my roommate Reens." The meerkat smiled shyly as she shakes the girls hand.

"Nice to meet you, Melissa!" Reens chirped, gently shaking her hand with her robotic hand. "What brings you to Westwood?"

"Well, my mom has a lot of political stuff that needs to be taken care of, and doesn't have the time to take care of me and my sis," Melissa explained, "So she had me come here and is letting my boyfriend watch over Alice." She let out a sigh. " Plus, I need the education, and this is a really good school. So ... why're you two here?"

Getting Settled In[]

"Oh, I'm here for mainly here for the science majors, but I've picked up an orchestra major as well ... My parents were really proud of me choosing to do so many things at once ..." Charlie spoke, "My brother just graduated from here though last year and he's a graphic design and motion graphics freelance worker. After Effects and all that stuff that people use to produce music videos... I'm hoping to do something along the lines of biochemistry, maybe something with orchestra on the side when I finish up here ... This school is really good for getting you ready for whatever you specifically choose to do in college." She blinked, blushing a bit as she looked down, "I didn't mean to blabber like that ... S-sorry ... I don't know what got into me..." She chuckled nervously.

Reens blinked as she let go of Melissa's hand. "Uh, wow," she said in amazement as she sighed. "Honestly, I'm not sure what exactly I'm going to get into. I want to do something along the lines of music mostly, but other than that I'm not sure. I came here on a music/athletics scholarship, though I lean more towards music. I also like to design my own clothes, like a lot of people here, but just for me, and they're not that great."

"That's great Reens...! I'm sure if you put your mind to it you would make great clothes! They have fashion classes here you know. One of the more well known fashion students is Kristy Summers. She's really popular, but the difference between her and Courtney is that she actually isn't mean...she's a bit snobby, but she's not overly rude to people." She smiled a bit, "She actually told off Courtney's friends when they were trying to pick on me...she's so cool..." She muttered and smiled a bit.

"Heh," Reens replied, tugging on her braid nervously. "I was never one to gravitate towards the popular types... well, I mean I did once, I guess... meh, it's complicated." She pulled out her phone and shot a quick text to her grandfather.

"Well, it was nice meeting you two, but I gotta get this thing to my dorm" Melissa said, hauling her suitcase onto her back and heading up the stairs. "Hope to see you both in class!" she said from the top of the stairs before moving into the hallway and out of sight.

"Yeah, you too Melissa!" Charlie waved shyly as she blinked, "She's pretty nice...I hope we have some classes together..." Charlie sighed.

"Speaking of classes, let's get our schedules now!" Reens exclaimed, taking Charlie by the arm and slightly dragging her. "This day's almost half gone and I don't wanna miss any more classes! Especially choir... it's my favorite."

"Ah, careful! Reens, classes don't start till tomorrow! No need to rush...!" She muttered, trying to keep herself from tripping a bit whilst following behind her.

"Still, it never hurts to be-" Reens bumped smack-dab into Courtney, then stepped back a bit and blushed furiously. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't even see you! Guess I was too excited to get my schedule, huh? Aheh..."

Courtney took a few steps back as she was smacked into, being caught by her friends as they all seemed to glare.

"Oh...look...it's the loser who's lost in time..." Courtney started, before glaring at Charlie who was slowly shrinking away in fear. The canine glared with the coffee in her hand that she was rather close to spilling when she was bumped into. The others smirked a bit before she took the top off, and literally went to throw the cup at the meerkat, watching the still hot liquid splash onto her neck and chest. She grinned a bit before giggling, "Tell your loser friend to be more f**king careful, slut." She insulted, before she and her friends laughed and giggled before heading up the stairs and to their rooms. Charlie sighed heavily as she looked over her coffee soaked clothes, not exactly sure of what to say or do after the ordeal. Other girls seemed to snicker at the sight, before going back to their own business.

"Hey, I might be lost in time, but at least I have true friends!" Reens retorted, growling. She then turned to Charlie, tears in her eyes. "I... I'm so... so sorry... I..." She went to the bathroom, pulled off her uniform, changed, and threw her uniform at Charlie. "Here, put this on! At least you'll be dry now..." Reens sniffed and turned, running to the choir room. I messed up everything... here she was trying to avoid her... and I just made it worse...

Melissa- who was just ahead of Courtney and her pack- was aware of the event that just transpired. "You do realize that was completely unnecessary and uncalled for, correct?" she questioned, not even turning her head to look at them.

Charlie seemed to be speechless. Not at what Courtney had done, but how Reens had reacted. She tried to call out to the girl before she went running off, but to no avail...this was a normal thing...No matter who she was with, Courtney always targeted her above all others...She sighed, "So much for getting schedules..." She huffed depressingly, before she took Reens' clothes carefully and carried them back to their room. She got into some clean clothes, before putting Reens' uniform onto her bed and beginning to take out a notebook before she began to sketch something. She finished drawing a text-book perfect map of the school grounds and a small letter to Reens before she sighed and headed out, before walking through the lobby of the girls dorms and heading to the administration building, just as Annabelle and Kristy were returning. Kristy thanked the meerkat when she held the door open for them.

The canine looked over towards Melissa and smirked, "You do realize that...um...I don't care." Courtney fluttered her lashes before she continued with her friends up to the 4th floor, as Kristy and Annabelle began to head up to the 3rd floor.

"... And that's what happened." Kristy finished talking about something with the girl before Annabelle seemed to be surprised at what the canine had to say.

"... Cool." The wolf grinned.

The lights flickered for a second as Melissa let out a brief growl of frustration. "The nerve of some people..." She muttered, glaring towards the fourth floor staircase. "We'll show them... we'll show them all..." She began walking to her dorm, suitcase in tow. However...

...her shadow stayed behind for a second, before quickly catching up with her...

Reens shut the door to the classroom behind her and sat on the floor, hugging her knees to her chest. Chaos I'm such an idiot... She sighed, then tapped her foot on the floor. Charlie probably thinks I'm a baby ... sure I'm a bit out of time but at least I still have manners ... Loser or not ... She started humming a song to herself, eventually singing it out softly. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GKjW-TCnu0)

"H...Hello...?" a soft female voice called from the other side of the choir room.

"Gyahh!" Reens covered her mouth and started getting up from the floor, her legs a little wobbly from sitting there so long. "I- I'm sorry, I didn't know a-anyone else was in here... Um, if I'm bothering you I'll just, um, I-I'll just go- Waah!" She tripped over her own feet and was sent sprawling, catching herself with one arm.

The other girl rushed over and helped Reens up. "Are you okay? You're... sad," she spoke softly. She was a black cat with a white muzzle, green eyes, and- due to her black nose and the black spots on either side of it- what looked like a mustache.

Reens looked at her and smiled, albeit sadly. "Just feeling a bit down today," she mumbled. "Thanks for your help, uh..." She hugged herself. "I'm sorry if I scared you, I just felt a little lonely."

The "mustache'd" cat smiled back. "There's no need to apologize, I foresaw you coming here... um..." she trailed off awkwardly. "That was a very nice song. You have a beautiful singing voice."

"R-really? You think so? I've always been told I sound like a dying cow," Reens tried to joke. "What's your name, by the way? I'm Rain Maricina, but everybody calls me Reens. And, um, not trying to be rude, but... are you wearing a mustache?"

"It's nice to meet you Reens. My name's Marline, but you can call me Mary" the cat replied, "And no, that's just my nose and some spots that are around it."

Annabelle stopped when she noticed the strangest thing. A shadow in the hall, with no source. It freaked her out, but the anomaly disappeared when Kristy went to tap her to get her attention.

"You OK?" The canine asked, before Annabelle shook her head and looked back at her.

"Y-yeah! My eyes...Ah, just playing tricks on me." She responded, before the canine playfully dragged her back into their room down the hall, "So...What would you say the best way to ruin that Courtney chicks day is?" She asked softly.

"Oh the usual humiliation works pretty well. She likes to make other people feel miserable but she plays the victim whenever people laugh at her instead. She's also a wannabe know it all. So making her look stupid helps too." Kristy spoke with a smirk.

At the boys' dorm. an orange raccoon was on the phone to his mother. He had just entered his room a few minutes ago and he promised her that he would give her a call.

"Yeap, I made it here safe....I know i shouldn't waste such a great opportunity.....It's ok Mom......The people here don't seem too bad. Hopefully, they aren't all snobs......Yeah, but every stereotype has an original truth!.....Ok....I'll talk to you later mom....Love you!" The raccoon said before hanging up. Hopefully, nothing will go wrong, he thought to himself.

"Oh, heh, okay. Sorry if I offended you," Reens apologized with a slight blush. "I just came in here to escape a little. Well, by a little I mean... ugh, never mind, it's not important. I guess I might go and get my schedule now... though I'm not sure Charlie will want to go with me after the whole incident."

"No no, it's fine," Mary said, "My nickname is 'Mary Mustache' after all..." Her ears perked up, her eyes flashing purple for a second. "Go talk to her, you'll feel better," she said comfortingly.

"You sure?" Reens smiled and went towards the door. "Thanks for making me feel better, Mary. I really appreciate it." She walked out of the choir room and looked around for Charlie. "She might've gone back to our dorm."

"Well, time for some exploration!" the raccoon announced as he walked out of his room. His roommate hadn't arrived yet. So he took care to make sure that his stuff didn't take up too much space. He decided to take a walk towards the cafeteria. He hadn't eaten in a while.

Charlie thanked a few of the people at administration, but was sad to find out she couldn't get Reens' things for her...Security measures obviously, but she wished her new friend hadn't run off like that...It pained her to see someone so sad over something they didn't have control over, especially if Courtney hated the meerkat no matter what, or who she was with.

As Charlie left, Reens arrived at the administration office after being unable to find her at the dorm. "Uh, excuse me, but could you help me? I think my roommate might've came here earlier, but I'm not certain. She was bullied earlier, and she might've came here to complain."

Meanwhile, a violet disgruntled female Echidna wearing the school uniform stepped into the school. "Dress code this... pack your journal that... blah blah blah," the ungrateful Echidna girl ranted as she walked through the door. "Now to find my room." Octavia-Ca glanced about the building and let out an angry sigh. "And mom just had to send me to an entirely different universe just to go to a freaking school!"

The ungrateful, griping Octavia-Ca reached her dorm not much later, and in five seconds was scribbling away in her journal while listening to a few songs on a CD by G. Lynx Lightfoot. "Bored, bored, bored..."

"Oh... uh... H-Hello..." a voice said across the room. It was Melissa, who was still unpacking from her suitcase when Octavia-Ca came in. "I uh... I guess you're my dorm-mate? Miss..." she pulled a paper out of her pocket, "...Octavia-Ca? (Wait did I pronounce that right...?)

"Erm..." Octavia-Ca looked up at Melissa. "I didn't see you when I came in. And yes, I'm Octavia-Ca. A pleasure to meet you, Miss...?" Octavia-Ca pulled out her own piece of paper and continued, "Melissa."

"Yep!" the crow/sparrow hybrid chirped, "And it's a pleasure to meet you too!" She held out her hand to shake. "To a good year!"

Octavia-Ca took Melissa's hand and shook it. "Indeed! To a good year!"  The female Echidna thought for a moment and asked, "So... what do you want to do?"

"Hm..." Melissa contemplated, "How about we explore a bit? You know, learn the layout and meet people and stuff? Maybe get some lunch? I don't know, what do you wanna do?"

The woman at the front desk blinked as she heard Reens' question, "No...no one came to complain. Just students getting their schedules and getting information Miss." She replied.

"Ah, I see," Reens replied. "While I'm here, I might as well get my schedule. It's under Rain Maricina."

"Sure, why not?" Octavia-Ca replied to Melissa, smiling for the first time. "I like exploring... and I often fancy myself as the culinary type. Plus, I'd love to see the lab..."

"Heh. Alright," Melissa said, a smile on her face. She then snapped her finger in realization, walking back to her suitcase. "This would also be a great time to show off..." She started digging through her belongings, looking for something. Until she found it. "...this!" She pulled a golden tiara out from her suitcase and carefully placed it atop her own head, making a few slight adjustments before releasing her hands back down to her sides. "Yeah?"

"Oh! It's pretty!" Octavia-Ca remarked, liking this girl already. "Wait... what am I doing?"

Octavia-Ca continued with, "I've never seen a tiara before..."

"Thanks," Melissa chirped, "I honestly have no idea why I brought it, but hey. While I have it, might as well make good use of it, right?" She walked to the door. "Now c'mon, let's figure this place out!"

Octavia-Ca followed Melissa, interested in her new environment.

The raccoon walked up behind Reens, hoping to also talk to the receptionist. "I wonder if this place is completely full of snobs ...That would suuuuck!" he thought to himself out loud.

"Mm, lets see...Ah, here we are Miss Reens." The receptionist hands off the printed schedule and smiles to her, "If you need anything else don't hesitate to come back to us." She smiled.

"Ah, thanks," Reens replied, heading back to her dorm room. "I hope this year goes well..."

The raccoon then walked up to the receptionist. "Hi, I was wondering if you could give me a map of this place? I know it sounds kinda dumb but i really don't want to get lost in a place like this..."

"Oh it's no problem at all." The woman nodded to him as she began to pick up three stapled pieces of paper before handing them to him, "We have them all ready for the newer students so they don't have to worry about getting lost. However we pardon any tardies the first week just so you all can get a feel of the campus." She chuckled.

Charlie sat in the dorm room, fidgeting with her phone as she waited patiently for Reens to return, "I hope she's OK..." she muttered to herself.

"Thank you very much miss," The raccoon said with a smile as he took the papers.

Reens walked in the dorm and shut the door behind her, then looked over at Charlie on her phone. "Uh... hey, Charlie," she murmured, a little bit nervous about talking to her. "Um... I'm sorry for acting like a complete idiot lately. I embarrassed you and made you feel horrible and... I don't know how I could make it up to you. So... if you're angry with me, I completely understand."

As the raccoon walked down the corridor towards the cafeteria, he passed by a brown curvy female fox. She was wearing a dark purple crop top hoodie with matching yoga pants and black combat boots. The raccoon stopped in the middle of the corridor and looked back, only to see that she was gone.

Aaaw man, he thought to himself whilst shaking his head. Was that....? No way.....Please tell me I WAS dreaming.

"Reens!" Charlie hopped up and quickly moved to hug the girl before letting go, "I was so confused when you ran off..." She muttered, "Of course I'm not mad at you..." She looked towards the floor, "Courtney's always like that towards me, no matter who's with me, or where, or when, so it's really not your fault...OK?" She forced a sad smile.

"I just felt so bad... You were really happy around me and when Courtney ran into us, I thought I had done something wrong. Plus, she insulted you, and I couldn't take it," Reens explained, running a hand through her hair. "I just wanted you to know that I cared."

The raccoon shook his head and continued to walk around the school. The quest to find someone who'd want to be friends with an up and coming rapper has begun, he thought to himself.

Charlie blinked and smiled, "Of course I know you care...but I try not to let Courtney get to me...besides, this has been going on for 3 years...I started getting use to it by the end of the 2nd year..." She gave a light chuckle as she smiled.

A young man wondered around the school as well to take in the scenery, having been gone for quite some time he hadn't really remembered his way around. He seemed to be a rather handsome scorpion for the most part, smiling a bit as he nodded to a few teachers.

He looks cool, the raccoon thought to himself as he approached the scorpion. Here goes.

"Hi there," The raccoon said as he waved at the scorpion.

The scorpion glanced up at the raccoon and gave a small smile, "Hello." He greeted back.

"My name's Cassidy, Cassidy Ramone," the raccoon stated whilst offering a hand shake, "What's yours?"

The scorpion gave the raccoon a firm handshake, "Julian Haywood." He replied.

"Nice to meet you Julian," Cassidy replied. "I've never actually met a scorpion before."

Julian chuckled, "Is that so...?" He raised an eyebrow, "Well, I suppose we are rather uncommon around these parts. Me and my younger sister included." He grinned happily to the other student.

"I guess so," Cassidy replied whilst smiling back. "So what brings you to this 5-Star Hotel of a school?"

"Ah, a rich high school degree that will more than likely earn me scholarship upon college scholarship. Our parents insisted that we come here using the pocket change they had saved up on the side so I suppose I'm testing the electives to see what I excel in most." Julian replied.

"Pocket change?" Cassidy questioned whilst blinking. "Your parents must be quite rich if they consider the amount of money used to send you here was pocket change."

"Well of course." Julian chuckled a bit as he put his hands in his pockets, "My family is very wealthy, like a lot of students who go to this school."

"I guess you're pretty lucky," Cassidy replied. "I'm paying for my own tuition. My mother isn't that rich and I'm pretty much the one earning the money to keep us a float."

Meanwhile, Octavia-Ca was still following Melissa around the school.

"So, uh... where are you from?" Melissa asked somewhat awkwardly to the echidna walking alongside her.

(. . . -Xoph-)

"Good question," Octavia-Ca replied simply. "I would have said Portal if it weren't a stinking post-apocalyptic city right now. I don't know anything anymore."

"Oh," Melissa said guiltily, her shoulders slouching, "I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't know, I... shouldn't have asked." She looked down at the floor, clearly upset with herself.

"Eh, it's fine. Where are you from?" Octavia-Ca asked.

Classes and Whatnot...[]

"Oh?" Melissa said, pulling her head up to look at Octavia-Ca, "Uh, Alcrade. It's the second largest island of the Bhur Cluster, which is in the West-Atlantic." She looked forward, smiling. "It's nice there. Good climate, nice people, strong government, etcetera," her face straightened out slightly, "Though, there's been some tension with our neighboring islands, but... I'm sure it'll blow over."

Octavia-Ca nodded. "I've never been to Alcrade. Guess it's because I'm from another dimension." She fingered her watch a bit as she thought about what she just heard. "I'm sure it'll work out just fine." "Did I just try to reassure her?" Octavia-Ca shoved the thought down. Never mind that, they were still touring the place.

"You're from another dimension? Cool," Melissa responded, turning a corner, "Anyway, I think over here should be the lab; I'm not much of a science person myself, but you did say something about wanting to visit it earlier."

Reens paced in front of the choir room, lifting her watch to her face. "Ugh, the choir teacher should've gotten here by now! He told me he wanted to talk to me about something today ... I just hope it isn't anything too serious ..."

Annabelle walked along by her lonesome as she looked over the rather complicated map of the impossibly large school. Raising an eyebrow, she looked up to see Reens in front of the choir room. She wondered over, now in her school issued uniform with some nice looking black thigh highs to match.

"Hey, is this the choir room...?" The she wolf asked softly, in a rather anti-social voice to boot as she held her map and class schedule in her hand. Seemed like she was rather unwilling to open up. After all, Kristy was the only other friend she had made so far.

At the same moment, the brown she-fox from before had also turned around the corner. She stopped in from the choir room also and upon hearing Annabelle's question she waited for Reens to answer. She wore the official school uniform also.

"Yeah, it is," Reens replied, pausing in her pacing. "The choir teacher wanted to meet with me, but he hasn't arrived yet and I'm getting worried. Why, are you in his class too?"

Annabelle nodded softly to her classmate as she glanced into the classroom, looking around a bit and seeing that no one was really there yet. She looked back at Reens, "Well...Maybe he's busy. It's the first day after all and I'm sure with all these new students, he's just as occupied as the rest of the faculty, mm?" She offered, giving a small reassuring smile.

The brown fox stared at the two and shrugged. Well half of these two isn't the ideal friend. But I'm in a decent mood due to starting a new school, she thought to herself. She took a deep breath and then put on her best smile as she spoke. "Hi!" she said to the two, giving a small wave.

Annabelle glanced over and raised an eyebrow before giving a small wave, before looking back at Reens, "Well, may as well take a seat inside while you wait, right?" The wolf spoke.

"Um, yeah. Just move already, you're blocking the hallway." A snobby voice spoke, belonging to one of Courtney Dove's friends, Andrea. With her seemed to be a redheaded, white lion busy talking on her phone - Pheobe.

"Um. NO. I want them delivered BEFORE this weekend." The lion scoffed, "Because my party is this WEEKEND. MORON. Get it done or you're NOT getting paid!" She hung the phone up and rolled her eyes, before looking at the people hanging around the door to the choir room, "Do you mind? MOVE your fat asses! UGH."

Annabelle seemed to raise an eyebrow before taking a step back and staring with a blank look, before the two walked past Reens and rolled their eyes at the girl before entering the classroom.

"Fucking c@nts." Annabelle scoffed and folded her arms with a scowl.

The brown fox, under normal circumstances, would usually let something minor like that slide. However, she wasn't in the best of moods today. She'd already encountered someone who she wasn't prepared for already and she wasn't going to be pushed around. Plus, you let them do it to you once and you've already been classified as a target.

"At least our asses aren't as fat as your ego," The fox said, loud enough for Courtney and her cohorts to hear.

Stifling a giggle, Reens turned. "Oh, here he comes now," she pointed out as he walked over.

"Ah, so sorry ah'm late, ladies," the mongoose teacher blushed as he entered the classroom. "The drama teacha was talkin' ta me and ah lost track ah time. If you all will have ah seat ah can take roll." He set down his papers on his desk, a few of them sliding off. "Ah hope we can all get along heah," he continued as he bent down.

"I hope so too...." The fox said with a raised brow. She couldn't form a proper opinion on the man yet. But for now she'd just assume that he was very nice.

The mongoose straightened up as he placed his papers on the desk. "Now, since it's only the first day heah, ah would like ta get ta know a little somethin' about you all. If none of yah wanna go first, I'll start." He cleared his throat and rubbed his hands together, trying to look as friendly as possible.

Andrea and Pheobe seemed to scoff at the insult, rolling their eyes in disgust as they scared off some other students to take their seats. Annabelle huffed and wondered in as she took a seat as well with a bored expression on her face.

The fox took a seat next to Annabelle, still eyeing the rude group that had pushed in front of them earlier. I could easily make there lives miserable. But they're not high enough on my priority to care right now, she thought to herself.

Annabelle glanced at Andrea and Pheobe out of the corner of her eye, while Andrea seemed to be staring right back with a rather deadpan expression, almost as if trying to read the she-wolf like an open book. This made Annabelle glanced back forward, with a 'What in the Hell?' sort of expression that was somewhat blank, but said enough. However, the spaniel continued to stare at Anna out of the corner of her eye.

Oh damn, oh damn! I'm gonna be late! a green falcon thought to himself as he sprinted down the halls. Being late for his first choir class was not on the menu today. Famous RnB singer or not, this is not how he wanted to start his first day, especially in a school like this.

The green falcon suddenly burst into the choir classroom breathing heavily.

Pheobe and Andrea seemed to scoff in unison at the late student, while Annabelle gave a small eye roll.

"Heh heh," July said as he sctached the back of his head. "I'm very sorry for being late sir!"

"Hmph...Who's late on the first DAY...?" Annabelle muttered to herself rather quietly, as she waited to see what the choir teacher would respond with once the late student entered the room.
