The Match[]

The atmosphere is intense as Nate steps into the ring. He's wearing his trademark turqoise-blue t-shirt with blue jeans and red extreme gear boots. He has his orange goggles up and has his sword sheathed in his back. On his wrists are the Arks of the Cosmos and they glow white as Nate is ready to fight.

Statyx walked into the arena rather casually, stretching once he entered the ring. "So, the birdie wants to take a shot at me? Well, all I can say is that you better bring your best; I wouldn't want to end this thing too quickly." the hedgehog said with a smirk, flexing his hand as sparks began to fly from the appendage.

Nate folds his arm, smirking at Statyx's cockiness. "Hmph, you have no idea who your dealing with, but you've got one thing right though. This might end quickly".

"Ooohh, someone's sure of themselves. Well then, show me what you've got." Statyx grinned, hands at his sides but nonetheless ready for whatever Nate could throw at him. "You just better hope it's enough to take me down quickly. If not, you're in for a world of hurt."

Nate thrusts his right palm out in front of him firing a wall of raw gravitational energy at Statyx, it should hopefully pass through him.

Statyx braced himself for the impact, but was mildly surprised when the gravitational energy passed through him. ".....Huh. Interesting." Statyx examined himself for a moment before turning his attention to Nate. "You might wanna get those things checked, because they seem to be busted." he said with a chuckle, folding his arms over his chest.

Nate fold his arms again."I love it when they say that."The raw energy then boomerangs backwards solidifying and jetting towards Statyx's back.

Statyx simply shook his head, then performed a jump as the gravity wall returns, leaving it to ram towards Nate. "Really dude? I'm a G.U.N. agent of nearly a decade; you expect me to fall for one of the oldest tricks in the book!?" Statyx said after landing, scoffing at Nate underestimating him.

The gravity wall harmlessly passes through Nate. "Well....that failed...Ah well, time to roll of the gloves". Nate then takes a short step and all the sudden dashes towards Statyx at blinding speed with his sword drawn.

Statyx simply chuckles and in the blink of an eye, ducks down and jabs his elbow forward at Nate's gut, aiming to turn Nate's own speed against him to make the impact even more powerful and damaging. "I'm well versed in facing opponents in high-speed combat. Running straight at someone like me is suicide".

Nate's body actually goes through the elbow out behind Staytx. "Thank god that I have intangibility or else I'd be so screwed". He puts his finger up into the air and draws a ring shape (similar to the move from DBZ Galactic donuts) he then throws the ring of gravity at Statyx, aiming for his wrist.

Statyx simply pulled his wrist out of the way, watching as the ring flies by. "Y'know, if you're gonna make such a telegraphed attack and aim for such a small part of the body, I would highly suggest being faster about it. For example..." the green hedgehog suddenly dashed forward in a blur of green, reappearing behind Nate with his leg extended and electrified for a roundhouse to the back of the neck. "This!" Statyx followed through with the attack with every intention of taking the hawk down quickly.

Nate (once again) becomes intangible as the attacks going through him. He then dashes away and then throws and even larger ring of gravity at Statyx body.

Statyx simply jumped over the ring, which wasn't a big problem with his speed and agility. That intangibility is getting really annoying. Intangible... the dude is a hawk, so it would be a little typical, but possibly... Statyx grinned, prepared to try a little experimentation. "You better make good use of that little intangibility trick while you can, cause I'm gonna shut it down very soon." he said confidently.

Nate looks at Statyx. Argh that look in his eyes. He's up to something but what....hmph, gonna have to try something new. "Alright electrihog let's party". Nate then disappears in a gust of wind. He is now invisible.

"Ah, invisibility; the be-all end-all gimmick to trying to get the drop on your opponent." Statyx said calmly, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Against a greener opponent, that might work. Unfortunately for you, I have something called 'experience'; I've faced invisibility and it's much nastier extended family more times than I can count. So you better bring your worst, cause this isn't going to last you very long."

Nate stands in the same position "Your experience would've been so useful. If i don't know how to redirect sound using th wind". It like he was right behind Statyx.

"Good to know." A crackle of electricity formed in Statyx's hand as his expression remained calm. "Lemme show you how I deal with opponents that like to hide." Clenching his hand into a fist, Statyx slammed it into the ground and released a massive storm of lightning from his body that tore through the entire area indiscriminately, razing the arena and leaving no room to run or hide.

Nate howls in pain, his body sizzling. He reappears, dazed but not hurt much. "Ok mister area of effect man how do you like this". Nate summons a gravity field around Statyx, he lifts the field up and then throws it. He then teleports towards it and kicks it again and again in a triangle.

Statyx winced from the blows, stuck in the gravity shield as it was bounced around from Nate's assault. "Alright hawk-boy, you asked for it..." Just as Nate was going to make another impact Statyx disappeared from sight and the gravity field in a flash of green light. "This is how you do teleportation." Statyx said from behind Nate, before thrusting his palm against Nate's back to release a massive bolt of electricity through his body.

Nate howls in pain and spasms in place. He then turns around in anger and attempts a horizontal slice at Statyx's neck.

Statyx reacted quickly and threw up his arm in a defensive position, blocking the sword with his arm braces. "A lil' life tip..." Statyx started, grinning as electricity started crackling along his arm. "Metal weapons against an electrokinetic: bad idea." With that the greed hedgehog let loose, releasing a massive charge of electricity from his arm. He intended for conduction to do its job, causing the electricity to channel through the sword and zap its wielder.

Nate then grins "A little tip, you may be a agent with tonnes of training that can predict any physical move, but you have to prepare for the unexpected".The electricity then changes direction and then zaps into the air instigating a storm cloud. Nate grins "Go magic...."

Statyx jumps back from their lock, putting distance between him and Nate. "A storm cloud, huh?" Statyx says as he looks up with a grin. "Y'know what? Please go on. I really wanna see where you're gonna take this little display." Statyx folded his arms over his chest, his expression confident. Depending on where this storm cloud went, Statyx was certain Nate would spell his own defeat

Nate looks at the sky and sighs. "I'm such an idiot he's got electric powers you moron! Wait a sec?". An electric light bulb flashes over his head. Nate then says a series of squawks and all the electricity from the cloud is drawn into him. The pain is constant but he manages to toughen it out. When the electricity is drained he looks up to see the cloud is still there. Good. He then says another series of squawks and it begins to rain.

Statyx just began to laugh. At first it was a subdued chuckle, before steadily rising in volume to full-on uproarious howling. "Great job kid! If you wanted to forfeit, there are much easier ways to do it!" Statyx grinned confidently, his right forearm becoming consumed in a violent electrical aura. "You've got the right idea, that much I'll admit. But rain isn't the same as a body of water for me. Quite the opposite..." before he finished speaking Statyx disappeared in a flash of green light, using Chaos Control to immediately close the distance on Nate. "Rain just makes my powers even stronger!!" The green hedgehog thrust his fist towards Nate's gut, aiming to hit him with the full force of an enhanced Fist of Zeus.

"Ooooff!!!!!!". If this were a TV show, the world would have turned black and white for a split second. Nate crumpled to the floor and struggles to get up. "Damn it, wait a second....." Nate has a brief flashback to just a few seconds ago."Rain isn't the same as a body of water". Nate stands up on his feet and the Arks around his wrist begin to glow. Using gravity he telekinetically creates a massive sphere of water and throws it at Statyx. While this is being done he uses his natural affinity for wind to blow the rain cloud away.

Veteran's Advice[]

An optional section, if a Vet wishes they may advise their opponent on how they may improve their roleplaying technique as well as their character here.

First off, I would suggest double-checking your grammar before posting comments. Secondly, in your latest post about a gravity field you auto-hit, which is a big no-no and something you should avoid at all times.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 03:31, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

sorry about that i'll refrain from that again YoungEezy27 (talk) 17:37, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

Another important tip, especially in fighting RPs like this, is to read about the characters you're involved with or fighting against. While you shouldn't "metagame" (that is, have your character know information they have no possible way of learning in-story), it will allow you to avoid surprises and accidentally turning things in your opponent's favor, like the rain did for Statyx just now. Had you read Statyx's article, or at least his abilities section, you would have known that rain is an advantage to Statyx, not a hindrance. If you read an opponent's article you're also well aware of what they can and cannot do, preventing people from god-modding by suddenly giving their character new powers they didn't have before.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 23:44, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

As much as I genuinely do appreciate you advice I am trying to simulate what Nate would do if he was fighting an opponent in which he has no information o n about. However I do thank you for your advice and will use it in the future. YoungEezy27 (talk) 18:57, January 1, 2014 (UTC)
