Roleplay:Shockwave

I don't like making another Roleplay, since I have three other roleplays, but I figure that a new one might get me into more RPing, and hopefully revive my other ones. So, here goes!

Rules

1. ) No Trolling, spamming, or flaming.
2. ) No getting off-track with the RPs plot.
3. ) No playing as someone else's character without consent.
4. ) No making your character the central character.
5. ) No interrupting dialogue or other interaction between characters without permission. This means if your character was not originally in the vicinity of the other characters to their knowledge, you must ask for consent from the owners of the characters partaking in the conversation if your character can join or not.
6. ) Nothing in the RP can take place outside of the city without my knowledge or consent.
7. ) While any RP style is allowed, script format is preferred (this one is more a personal preference; it makes it easier to keep track of everything in the RP ^^|)
8. ) No explicit or graphic roleplaying concerning violence or intimate acts.

Overview

Hi-Rize; a large, sprawling city, said to have everything a person could want to visit. Cafes, bars, and clubs of all kinds. Parks of both the green and amusement variety that spanned entire city blocks, and skyscrapers that rake through the clouds and reach towards the stars. A national vacation spot and hub for all types of business, though not without its own seedier side. A sprawling metropolis that anyone would wish to visit.... before it happened. Central Hub; a bustling center of tourism and business, became the center of something much more devastating.

A terrible shockwave came from Central Hub. The reasons are unknown, but the results were known to all. Towering skyscrapers topped and crumbled. Houses were reduced to rubble. Trees were torn out of the ground and thrown through the sky. Thousands upon thousands of lifes were lost, ruined, or scarred. This bustling tourist-spot was turned into a warzone from Hell. No-one knows what caused this; some say a terrorist bombing, while others say a meteor struck from the sky. No-one knows for sure, as any witnesses... did not survive. Now, the city is a place of exploration for many, looking for treasures, lost loved ones, or clues to the terrible truth. Others have taken to living in this area. A city-sized lawless ruin; the perfect place for criminals, drifters, and "monsters" to gather, hide, and fester.

But now, people are heading towards this city, with one aim: to find out what caused this destruction. Some wish to give friends, families, or themselves closure. Others plan to find what, and if need be, who caused this, and make sure it never happens again. Still others, however, have much more devious plans in store...

Locations

Outridge

The outside border of the city, where one can find the first signs of destruction. Forests become desert plains, and roads become in ruins. One can already see the mayhem ahead of them from here.

Outer Rim

The outer area of the ruins, littered with the scraps and remains of houses and cars. Newer and relatively harmless residents live in these remains, separate from others.

Ruins of Innocence

The only amusement park left standing after the destruction, which somehow still operates to a limited degree. This park that formerly represented innocent happiness and family fun has been left shattered and broken, with many rides wrought and warped by destruction. This location has ben taken over by a gang known as "Shattered Smilies", a gang made up of people with a common interest...

Inner Ruins

The inner, formerly urban area of the city. Toppled skyscrapers, destroyed buildings, and ruins crowd this area. Ironically, the ruins allow for exploration and habitable shelters. This area is populated with numerous people, most of them affiliated with one of the several gangs that run about in this region.

Central Crater

In the very center of the Inner Ruins lies the enourmous crater; the origin of the infamous shockwave. Nothing remains in this crater, which is the size of a lake, and just as deep. A gaping wound, terrible reminder, and the center of horrible legends, no-one dares to go near the crater.

The Abyss

At the very center of the Central Crater lies a large, deep hole. No-one knows how deep the hole is or where it goes, nor what may lie within...

The Beneath

The remains of the sewage system of Hi-Rize, slowly rebuilt into an underground area where those rejected even by those who inhabit the above ruins dwell.
