In a deep sleep, the Mismagius heard the Absol's yelp groaned. That, and sunlight was a little to bright for her comfort. Trying to resist those, she gave up and opened her eyes. She sighed, "It's not like I was that tired anyway... Guess this is going to be a long day..." She muttered to herself. She rose from the bush and floated her way towards the marketplace in hope for some sort of small snack. She passed by the Absol looking up. She saw the missing branch, "A-are you okay?" She asked him politely.

Back in the guild building, Elly groggily got ready for the rest of the day, packing a box half full of items while Milla stood waiting outside her room. "Alright, that's everything.." she assured herself, nodding to Milla as she exited. She wasn't her usual beaming self, nor did she seem ready to start the day, but she hoped it would get better after she had her breakfast.

In the mess hall, Chez Kabutops, the cook was slicing away at all manner of foods, the most notable of which were the rare Starf berries that Milla had advertised to the sleepy guild-mates. Each and every day, a new special dish would be prepared for every meal, and each one would boost the Pokémon of the guild to do better during their missions. The Starf berries used on that day were collected on the world's edge, filled with all five flavor types.

It was the crack of dawn, the bright sun rising over the wonderful Pokémon world. Many years have past since the age of great evil that was born of the extreme negativity in Pokémon. It is said that the evil was destroyed by the efforts of a brave rescue team, but not all were convinced of that. Wanting to prevent its return and maintain order in the world, a great guardian Pokémon decided to follow the example of the legendary rescue teams, forming a society for them that would last generations.

The warm light billowed over what was once a mighty tree, petrified by the evil's previous attack. While the tree itself was void of life, however, it continued to foster the mighty Guild of Order. Higher up in the tree's stone branches, several flying type Pokémon were awakened by the sun's brisk rays, many of them preparing to scatter across the globe with messages and deliveries. Down at the tree's foot, the other Pokémon were setting up their shops or simply mingling with one another. It was a bright day for the Guild of Order, and with each bright day comes bright explorers, eager to go out and fulfill their guild master's desire for world order. The mighty stone tree, which seemed to hold hope for peace and prosperity in all the land, was named Nidhogg in honor of a fable in which a great dragon devoured the world's disorder.

Despite such a lofty goal, the members of the guild continually hold onto mirth and wonder in their hearts. Many Pokémon are drawn by the promise of adventure, treasure, experience, and fun! Others still are in it for the joy helping others in need brings. While some Pokémon have less noble intentions than others, they all work together to make the world a better place. On this bright new day, that work continues, as more guild residents wake up and populate the grounds.

Behind the mighty tree, there was a residential forest area where other Pokémon were located. One in particular appeared to be an Absol casually napping on a branch, snoring loudly while a snot bubble gently inflated and deflated in sync with his snoring.

Up in the air was a certain Mismagius taking a flight. When the sun shined over her, she quickly lowered her hat and descended down to the forest area so that she didn't have to deal with the sun. She found a bush nearby a tree to take a rest for a while.

As morning started, the daily shuffle between the nocturnal Pokémon going to sleep and the diurnal ones stepping up to their posts went as usual. The guild's night guardians, two Goletts and a Golurk, sat near the huge stone tree's entrance, motionless in their sleep. The first of the day Pokémon to fully set up their shop was Absol, the guild's banker who gained success with her ability to predict financial disaster. Soon after, the Kecleon Brothers woke up from their sleep immediately ready to sell their varied wares. A couple of the usual shopkeeps hadn't set up yet: Shuckle, the guild's storage manager, was taking an extended rest while fermenting berries into juice, while Klefki, the guild locksmith, simply napped due to not having any backlog work.

Unsurprisingly enough, a Mawile and a Castform were sleeping in as usual. However, the owner of the building they slept in, a Larvitar, had begun to open up her shop for the day. She was also calculating how much rent the two owed her at this point. It was a good math exercise.

While many got up early enough, it was time for the daily alarms to wake up the others. Rushing out the guild's entrance and down the stone tree's steps, the interim guildmaster Milla rushed around to the lodgings that had requested her usual wake-up service. She used her trusty bell to cause a clanking racket in front of those houses until the residents crankily awoke from their rest. "Come on guys, it's time to wake up! Do you REALLY want to miss breakfast? It's apple and Starf berry slices~!" she crowed, trying to goad the groggy Pokémon into action.

The Larvitar, named Terra, had all of her stands opened up now. Various sparkling stones stood out in cases, and a sign hanging on the ceiling was put up, reading: 'We buy and sell all gemstones, appraisal services offered as well.' "Did you hear that?" She shouted up at the two sleeping Pokémon. "Get off your lazy butts and get to work already! You're three months overdue on your rent!"

Upstairs, the two Pokémon groggily began to get out of bed. The Mawile, Clock-Watch, had already woken up, and went over to wake up the Castform, Platinum. "Oh great..." He muttered. "C'mon, Platinum, get up! I'm not missing breakfast because you like to sleep in!"

While the other Pokémon were gradually awakening, there was one in the guild building struggling with a nightmare. Elly, a Dragonite that the guild took in ages ago, tossed and turned in bed with a recurring dream about a frigid blizzard. In her sleep fantasy, she became frozen to the bone from ice that came out of her own fist. Ever since she learned Ice Punch, these kind of dreams plagued her nights on occasion.

In the mess hall, a lone Eevee named Mikey is up already and has gotten his share of breakfast. As he quietly nibbles on his apple slices, he stashes away the Starf berries into a small leather pouch held around his neck with string. The pouch appears to be filled with berries of many sorts and likely serve as ammo for his Natural Gift attack. The rest of this youngster's team is nowhere in sight; they're probably still asleep.

The Absol, meanwhile, snored some more, before leaning to one side, losing his balance, and getting taken by gravity. The result: falling off his branch and crashing into the ground, giving a yelp from the impact. Thankfully he only landed in a pile of leaves so he wasn't hurt much, but it did wake him up. "Agh... okay, so much for a good morning," he commented, getting up and shaking his body to disperse the leaves.

Elly's dream got to its worst point as a large, imposing Pokémon closed in, threatening to shatter the ice and her inside it..! In the nick of time, however, her slumber was interrupted by a very familiar clanking bell. "Hey, hey, wake up already!" Milla pleaded with a worried tone. "Geesh, this has been happening too much.. Is it the same dream again?" Elly responded with a long sigh and an embarrassed nod. "Yeah.. The ice just wouldn't stop.. Feels worse than when Leanne was still in the team." She shuddered when mentioning that last name. Elly's extreme weakness to ice was a pretty prominent problem when she herself had an ice move!
