This immersive park features resorts, entertainment, restaurants, and most importantly, Luna Park proper! - This is a slice of life/vacation roleplay! Pleaaaase no epic battles, or huge disturbances, please and thanks!
- No godmodding/being a dick.
- If there is an established flow, don't throw everything off track in an exceptionally cringe way.
- Don't be afraid to have characters explore other areas of the park; Just clarify which area they are in by putting the location in parenthesis if it isn't obvious from their dialogue and/or actions!
- Just have fun I guess? (If anyone joins that is lol).

Main Entrance at Rope Drop[]
Luna Park's entrance is buzzing with conversation and people as guests wait for the gates to open bright and early on this Saturday morning. It was just around 6:45 AM, with the gates opening at 7 AM sharp. That is, if you were a regular attendee. Those who forked out extra cash could get access to the parks early, but where's the fun in beating the crowds to your favorite rides!?
Chelsea stood behind the gates with her father and owner of the park/resort, making sure her hair and such were done up. Her class from Beaumont High School was going to be arriving not long after rope drop and she was going to be her friends guide around the park. She knew it like the back of her hand after all!
(In the lines)
Alan: Ugh, yet another forced vacation, when will Jewel understand that fighting Badniks is what I live for?
Srish: Cheer up, they've got a water park. You and I both love water parks!
Alan: Yeah... and i'm glad i have you, but i just don't enjoy anything more that fighting Badniks. Sonic would understand!
Srish: Sonic doesn't spend all his time fighting, he has hobbies, and he spends time with his friends doing them, like you're doing right now.
Alan: Yeah, fair point.
Not too far back in the line from Alan and Srish were two bird Mobians, a parrot and dove. "So now the girls are playing at some overrated playground?", the yellowish white bird smirked, "Makes sense~.". The yellow parrot next to him glared at him, "Why are you even at this park anyway if your just going to insult it and the girls?".
"You wouldn't understand..", the dove huffed. Rolling his eyes, Orlando taunted the dove back, folding his arms, "Is that another way to say you're bored and your going to make it everyone's problem?". Dev turned away and made a small 'Hmph'.
Alan:What time even is it right now?
Srish: According to my waterproof watch, 6:50.
The owner of the park popped up nearby, speaking into a mic, "Good morning everyone! And thank you for joining us for rope drop!"
"Ugh, about time. How are all of these peons going to see moms new designs on me if I'm sitting here not strutting my stuff?" A blonde hedgehog whined. "Stupid school making us breathe commoner air." The girl added, seeing her Dalmatian classmate shudder. "Who knows what kind of germs these people have...groooooss..."
"I want to say it fills me and my daughter Chelsea with great pleasure to see you all here and ready to unleash your inner child! And furthermore-"
"Pst, daddy!" Chelsea whispered to him and gestured to her shiny watch. The man blubbered, "Oh! Thank you darling! And without further ado, welcome to my brainchild, my pride and joy! Luna PARK!" He said. Small bits of pyrotechnics launched into the air as the huge gates opened, allowing guests to spill into the park and view the huge, immersive, space station-like entry way. It mimicked that of a futuristic space port complete with themed seating areas, and a statue of the parks mascot Lulu, who appeared to be a sort of friendly pink-furred cat in a space suit.
Srish: That, was, Awesome.
Alan: You don't get out much, do you?
(The two then start moving as the rest of the line does.)
Srish: Pfft, like you're one to talk. You had to be forced to come here with me.
Alan: Yeah, but i've seen fireworks before. You act like you've never seen one before.
Srish: Why must you be a killjoy?
Alan: Because not being sent on missions kills my joy.
Srish: You'll be singing a different tune when we ride the Solar System.
Alan: What's the Solar System.
(Srish points to a twisting rollercoaster track above them) "That's the Solar System. It goes all the way around the park, and i've heard it does that at high speed too!"
"Oooo, this is exciting!", a pink furred dog clapped her hands together as she entered the park alongside three other Mobians. The punk looking bat of the quartet sneered, "Of course you'd be all geeked out by a place like this, Polaris..".
An arm tugged Techno, with a cat reprimanding him, "Be nice, Techno, it's not everyday we get to have a field trip like this and you know how sheltered Polaris is..". The bat picked up her hand and dropped it off him, "Yeah, yeah... God knows you'll go to my mother about it and whine..". The last of the group, a blonde jock-ish-and handsome looking rabbit chimed in, "So where should we head first?".
"Absolutely Whiplash Vortex. These little ladies haven't been on a coaster in their entire life and I think they should get a good scare.", Techno grinned with Thea glaring slightly at him. "Oh I'd love to go on a coaster! I think I can handle it, daddy's inventions are a lot scarier!", Polaris giggled as the four headed on their way.
(Alan and Srish arrive at the Solar System.)
Srish: Oooh! The line's not that long! We'll be on in no time!
Alan: Thank goodness for that.
"Out of the WAY!" Chelsea walked through the line of the Solar System with two other girls in tow. A brown dog with box braids tied back into a high ponytail, and a pink/black poodle. "Hyperspeed holders, coming through!" The fox said. The brown canine scoffed, "You sure this one isn't super intense? Ugh, I am NOT the biggest fan of roller coasters, Chelsea..."
With a scoff, the fox rolled her eyes, "I'm positive, Sasha. The most INTENSE roller coasters are in Whiplash Vortex and The Unknown, everyone knows that! Especially since Whiplash Vortex added that new RMC hybrid coaster with multiple inversions and the most vertical drop at about 99 degrees exactly-"
"Yeah, YEAH I get it. Enough with the stupid GEEK talk, just get us on the ride already!" Sasha whined in a bratty tone while the poodle was too busy taking selfies.
Annabelle and friends walked through the entrance, clad in their best active wear and sunglasses for adventuring around in the sun. "Oh wow. So this is the place Alfie and Alena wont shut up about." She said, looking around the entrance. Christian grinned, "So...Alex and her band are performing tonight before the fireworks?" She asked. Annabelle nodded, "Yeah. Jason said he's with them so he'll be here when they arrive." Annabelle said. Kristy grinned, "Then lets go have some fun! I know my killjoy sister is probably around here SOMEwhere. Im gonna embarrass her! Haha!"
Alan: Who the fudge are you, and why must you be so rude?
Srish: Yeah!
Sasha over dramatically rolled her eyes at the two, "Ew, the peanut gallery has sentience..." The canine and poodle giggled. "You gonna let him talk to you like that, Chelsea?" She asked the fox. Chelsea scoffed, "I'M the future owner of this theme park. That man you saw at rope drop this morning on stage? That was my daddy, and YOU should learn some manners." She said confidently, glancing at Sasha to see the canine give her a thumbs up in approval. "And furthermore, these are my BFFs. And they have Hyperspeed passes. Which means they can skip the lines as much as they want."
Alan: (groan) Why are these people so stereotypically rude...
Srish: Forget about them, they can be stereotypes if they wanna. Just enjoy the ride.
(The two of them then get on the Solar System, along with a few other people)
"Hmph. Commoners should be seen, and not heard." Celeste whispered to the others as the girls giggled. They got onto the ride in the front seat, with Sasha and Chelsea at the very front before the ride launched into its circuit at impressive speeds. The simple lap bars made every hill feel like you were being launched out of your seat and into the sky.
"Why did we even have to come here...? We're just bumping shoulders with gross poor people..."
"Because Dean Ainsworth said he wanted to put the money we donated to 'good' use. I think it would have been better to just use it to improve OUR way of life."
Three girls clad in pink outfits sat on a bench near the main square, just below where the statue of the park mascot stood. They all sat identical, with cellphones in hand and ignoring their surroundings.
Srish: Sooo? How was the ride?
Alan: Give me back my gravity before i answer that.
(one rebalancing later)
Alan: "Commoners". Could those people get any more cliche?
Srish: Calm down.
Elsewhere in the park, in The Lost Nebula, three teens were looking around at practically everything. Two nerdy looking girls hanging out with a somewhat punk looking guy. "I really wish this park had more bug themed attractions..", the chameleon said mostly to himself while looking around.
"Ick, I think having no bug themed attractions is a good thing.", the small lizard girl of the group quipped before speaking up to tall python next to her, "What ride should we go on here?".
"How about something a little more casual first?", Thelma answered her, "Like a carousel if the park has one?". "Kinda boring if you ask me.", Enid quickly chimed in, "I'll allow it if we can go on one of the cooler rides later."
Srish: Let's go to the Splash Nebula now.
Alan: Ok, sure.
"WHOOO!!" A skinny female porcupine wearing fishnets bounded into the park with a posse; a band that'd be performing that evening. She pulled along a hedgehog with her who groaned. "Chill out, Ash! Jeez, you're gonna rip my arm off of my torso!"
"Can't blame her, this place is dope." Alex added, holding hands with a cat with a green mohawk while being followed by a grey wolf. "I'm just really stoked they gave us free tickets and some hyperspeed passes for the next few days. This place is so cool..." she grinned, "I havent been here since I was a kid."
"Now, girls, you've better appreciate what I've done for you.", a tall pink-gray condor with magenta locks looked over a small group of other birds, while simultaneously holding hands with a black owl, "I've fought tooth and nail to get you this gig and I've had to close the bar for the next few days for it! So you better be on your best behaviour and make me proud!".
"You sound like our mom.", Ripple would bluntly proclaim much to the dismay of the rest of their crew who simply said nothing for a few minutes afterwards. Gem gave a slight sigh under her breath, before recomposing herself. "They've also given us complementary tickets so we can enjoy the park before then.", the condor resumed, "And Ripple, behave. If you somehow ban us from the park you will never come on this type of gig again. Am I clear?".
"Yes.", the heron answered, not exactly paying attention to the speech. The condor would quickly pull aside the red feathered vulture, "Rea, I'm asking you to partner up with Ripple. Make sure she does nothing stupid."
"Got it.", the muscular bird nodded as she walked off towards Ripple. This left Rott and Dive to themselves, "So where should we go first?". The hawk answered the smaller bird of prey, "I usually stay in the main part of the park before exploring other areas... At least I did when I was a kid.".
(Alan and Srish arrive at the Splash Nebula and enter the changing rooms, changing as quick as they can.)
Alan: So Srish, what kind of stuff is even in the Splash Nebula?
Srish: A huge wave pool, some water slides, and a battle fort armed with light water cannons.
Alan: I love those!
(They then finish changing and enter the park, Alan humming to the tune of Koopa's Tycoon Town as he enters the water park and steps into the wave pool, with Srish walking along the water for a second before getting in.)
Sasha groaned, "I thought you said that ride was TAME, Chelsea!" She whined. The fox shrugged, "You and I both have very different ideas of what 'tame' means. To me, tame is at least 6 inversions and maybe 6 Gs." She explained, watching her friends roll their eyes at her coaster talk. The fox visibly shrunk, "W-why don't we try the Ferris wheel? Nearby the dome? It's really relaxing and you can get good selfies at the top...?" She offered. Celeste perked up, "Perfect idea!" She said, skipping along as Chelsea looked a bit dejected but followed along.
A rotund walrus and a skinny looking, yet unattractive mouse, made their way into the park and looked at the main statue from afar. "Wow! This place is so much bigger than when I visited as a wee lad last time!" The walrus said, decked out in nerdy D&D apparel. The mouse groaned, wearing a long skirt and an oversized t-shirt. "Why did I agree to coming here...? I could have shhtayed behind and kept working..." She muttered. Edmund sighed, "Fiona, you're going to work yourself to death at this rate. You're a TEENAGER! Have some fun while it still lasts!" He said with enthusiasm. "I don't like crowds or rides..." She lisped.
Jason glanced around, looking for Annabelle, but shrugged, "I'm sure I'll run into her later." He muttered. Ash jumped up and down, "DUDES! Come ON! I gotta get on that huge coaster over at Whiplash Vortex! Yknow, the one that goes upside down like a million times and the only thing holding you in is a lap bar thingy!" The porcupine said.
(A horn then goes off at Splash Nebula.)
Alan and Srish: Sweet! The waves!
Nearby, casually strolling through Splash Nebula, Theo Vanderwheele enjoyed his handiwork and made sure to interact with guests. He was even wearing his own swim trunks with the parks mascot printed on them.
(Srish notices Theo, but Alan doesn't, caught up with getting the perfect distance from the waves.)
"Let's head over to Splash Nebula!", the heron dragged the large red vulture with her. Rea was lucky she remembered to back the group's swim suits or the bird would've cursed herself for days. On their way to that part of the park, Orlando noticed the two taller girls.
"Rea, darling, is that you?", the yellow parrot dragged the white dove over with him who frustratingly gave into the other's whims, "I was wondering when you'd so up with the girls".
"Did you take the day off?", the red vulture asked as she clasped hands with the parrot. Ripple immediately stared over at Dev with a dark glare, "And why did you bring this jerk here?".
"Oh, you know I can't miss any of your shows, dear! Besides, who could miss out on such a great opportunity for a date?", Orlando smiled up at his girlfriend who's feathers luckily hid her blush. He would then quickly answer the heron, "As for Dev, he came along because apparently he's 'bored'. I honestly think it's because he misses Rott's attention.".
Flustered, the other effeminate bird speaks up, "I just didn't want to spend most the day stuck at home with Jayanthi.. She gives me the creeps.". The dove would shudder.
Alan: You ready, Srish?
Srish: Wha-oh yeah, i'm about ready to surf!
(Srish then starts running on water again.)
Annabelle and her group soon spot Alex and her bandmates. "Jason! Alex!" She calls out. The band glances over. Tom wavs, "Annabelle, hey!" They quickly meet up with one another. Annabelle gives Jason a quick smooch as Christian greets Ash. "Hey hey! We were gonna go to The Unknown to see the bigger rides, wanna come?" Ash asked. Kristy gulped, "I'm a scaredy cat, you know that!" She admitted. Christian smirks, "Oh c'mon. One ride and you'll be hooked." The feline smirked.
"SIS?" Sasha called out, walking along with Chelsea and Celeste. "WHAT are you doing here?"
"Sashaaaa~!" Kristy cooed over her sister and hugged her tight, swinging her around in a circle. Annabelle giggled at the sight. "LET GO! You're embarrassing me!!" She screeched. Kristy obliged, scoffing at the younger brat. "OK OK! Dang..."
"What are you even doing here?? Did you JUST come to humiliate me in front of my friends??" Sasha asked. Ash raised an eyebrow at this as Kristy scoffed, "Our friends here had extra tickets cause they're performing tonight, duuuuh. I'm not so petty to decline free stuff like you, Sasha."
"Oh, this washed up punk rock band? Oh please. I doubt they'll even fill up half the stadium." Sasha insulted. Alex saw red, "ExCUSE you??" The feline snarled, with Tom holding her back. "Alex, don't get into a fight with a high schooler, she's not worth it."
"Sasha, what did I tell you about being totally disrespectful to the people I associate with? If anyone's embarrassed its ME." Kristy whisper yelled. The younger girl rolled her eyes. "Puh-LEASE, sis. You've totally gone soft and you're hanging out with the FREAK SHOW." She gestured to Alex. "Kristy get this gremlin before I THROTTLE HER." She threatened. Kristy felt her temper boil. "WE. Will discuss this. LATER."
"You sure? To be honest I could go on all day about how you've all gone soft. Especially Annabelle." Sasha said, Celeste and Chelsea trying to drag her off. Annabelle glared coldly. "Are you sure you wanna do that? Because the only thing I see in front of me is a wannabe Poppy with all bark and no bite." She said. Sasha scoffed in annoyance. "...Oh, wait, remind me who I left the title of head Poppy to again. It was Alena. Not you. Know your place." She warned.
Chelsea whimpered, "Sasha, lets GO!" The three high schoolers walked off as Kristy rubbed her temples. "She wasn't ALWAYS that bad, I'm serious!"
"TCH. She's worse than YOU were." Alex hissed in anger. Kristy's ears flopped as she stared defeated at the ground. Ash took a deep breathe, "Hey hey hey, we're still here to have a good time! Lets go scream on coasters until we lose our voices!"
"Ash you know we need to sing tonight." Alex said, but rolled her eyes, "Lets go then. Get our fun in before the set tonight." She said, before the large group headed off.
(Back in Splash Nebula, Srish managed to start surfing atop a wave)
Srish:Weee!
Alan: Go! Go!
(The wave then shrank into nothing.)
Srish: Waves at wave parks never capture the magic of a real wave.
Alan: Be patient, remember what we promised you.
Srish: Yeah, yeah, you promised we would have my birthday at a beach, but the wait is killing me.
Alan: Get back on that wave and stop acting bored, that's my job!
The band and their friends made it to the Whiplash Vortex and eyed one one of the biggest coasters there. Kristy gulped nervously, "I'm gonna pass on this one, guys..." She said. Christian took her hand, "Oh come oooon girl. It's not THAT bad." She said, talking over the sound of someone screaming on said ride. Kristy's head tried to disappear between her shoulders as Alex laughed. "More for me." She said, rushing to get in line as her bandmates follow. Annabelle clings to Jason who chuckles, "You scared?" 'N-no...no." The girl replied, her ears flat to her head.
Wandering around in The Unknown, Penelope, Calliope, and Katalina tried to collectively gather their courage to ride one of the most intimidating coasters there, themed to Lovecraftian creatures and mythos. Katalina went to get in line, "I'm gonna do it!" She said, hyping herself up as the others nodded and followed her, all three held hands as they went to wait in the queue.
(Back at Splash Nebula, Alan and Srish are still having fun at the waterpark.)
The three girls get off of the large coaster, dizzy and in shock but in the best way possible. Meanwhile, Chain Reaction and the Poppies finish their ride as well, and Kristy needs help standing up as her legs have turned to total jelly.
Still in Luna Base, Dive and Rott were looking around at any of the rides that reside there. "Do you think they have any carousels around here?", the red feathered hawk asked her friend.
"They might in Lost Nebula since it's more fantasy themed, why?", the kestrel questioned her closest friend. Rott answered her rather quickly, "Nostalgia purposes.. A park at home had a really old carousel I'd always ride as a kid.".
Alan: Hey, we should go on one of those slides!
Srish: Yeah! Let’s do that.
Edmund and Fiona wander around the Lost Nebula, and the walrus is enjoying himself so far. "I know you don't like big rides very much, and I myself am a little too husky for them, so lets just get on a few flat rights like carousel or something."
"Fine, fine..." Fiona huffed.
Meanwhile, Alan and Srish were on the stairs to one of the slides, waiting in a line.
While Dive and Rott were making their way towards the Lost Nebula, Enid, Thelma, and Balthazar had already gotten off of the carousel in that part of the park. "Now can we go on one of the more extreme rides?", the bearded dragon begged as her tall python friend could only gaze down upon her.
The blonde nerd sighed, "Enid, you're very short. Will they even let you on a ride like that?". The short lizard would ponder for a few seconds before responding, "Well, it can't hurt to try, can it?". Thelma rolled her eyes up to the sky, whilst their punk chameleon friend was enamored with a bee that flew past him.
Meanwhile, Alan and Srish had almost gotten to the end of the line.
Mid Day (Lunch Time!)[]
The park was bustling, especially now that restaurants and venders had started to sell fresh meals for lunch time to the hungry masses.
Sasha, Celeste, and Chelsea all managed to get into the door of a crowded sit down restaurant which was rumored to have the best food. Chelsea made sure to order the best items on the menu for her friends to show off her know how about every aspect of her fathers park.
Meanwhile, Alex and her posse sit down with food they grabbed from a walk up establishment nearby the main entrance. Ash licks her lips as she digs in. "Aw man...if it werent for us getting food and tickets for free this would totally cost an arm and a leg, I bet!"
Alan: Wait, i just realized, It's lunch time.
Srish: Don't worry, we're nearly at the front of this line.
"Ooof, after all those coaster rides I'm starving!", the quartet of teens wandered over towards a walk-up stand for some food. Thea would give a smug smirk to the slightly irritated punk bat standing behind her, "So much for giving us a 'good scare'.". The bat rolled his eyes as Eros chuckle, though the rabbit was interested in the food.
"How do they get a hotdog on a stick??", the rabbit would whispered to Thea who look up at him a bit dumbfounded, 'Yeesh, I keep forgetting everyone but Tech is sheltered...'. Speaking of the bat, he was holding back a laugh.
"They stick it in there?", the cat answered genuinely, but confused nonetheless. The blonde would hide his face, "Oh...".
(Meanwhile, Alan and Srish had just reached the front of the line, and went sliding down the fast slide, through many twists and turns, before arriving at the end.)
Alan: That was great!
Srish: Yeah! Now let's have lunch.
(Alan and Srish then head for a convenient food place in Splash Nebula, right near the Wave Pool.)

(Seemingly.)
Penelope, Katalina, and Calliope all find an empty picnic table to eat their food at. Katalina sighs as she takes a sip of her fresh lemonade, "Glad we got all the big scary rides out of the way before lunch!" She chuckled. Penelope nods, "Yeah, there's no way I'd be able to hold all this down going around and upside down like that!"
Becky and her posse wait at a table where their custom food order was made, made up of much healthier alternatives than the park could provide. "Ah, perfect. I wouldn't even touch greasy theme park food with a 50 foot pole. I have an appearance to upkeep." The hedgehog gloated. Makenzie all the while, snuck a few bites of mozzarella sticks, despite her friends adamant stance against the park food.
As Alex and her group ate their food, a costumed mascot of the park walks by with a wav. Ash drops her things immediately, "GUYS! We gotta take a picture!!" She said. Nathan raised an eyebrow. "Are you 5?" "YEAH, lets get a picture!!" Tom shrieked as the two of them rushed over with phones in hand. Alex jumped up to join them while Nathan rolls his eyes. The group takes a selfie with the mascot before thanking them and head back to their seat. "That was fun." Ash grinned, before Tom chuckled, "That's definitely a screensaver for sure!"
*jokes appears out of nowhere*
"If you get yourself sick before the show, Gem'll have your head y'know..", Rea said watching the heron essentially spend most her money on junk food in the park and gobble it down with ease. Her boyfriend stood by her, "Has this happened before?".
"Only at buffets and fairs.", it wouldn't be long before Rott and Dive would notice the others and wander over. Not before Rott noticed the odd one out, Dev standing not too far from the lovebirds. "Dev.", the hawk said as she stared at the dove, "Why are you here?".
"I'd die if I had to spend any more time back at home with that overgrown eagle hybrid.. So when I talked to Altor he told me you guys were here and I decided to come here.", the effeminate man would answer her. The youngest of the group would speak up to the dove, "Do you even know what to do here?".
"Y-yes! Isn't this a kinda place people go to have 'fun' and be 'entertained'?", Dev would answer before Ripple would snort. The hawk shook her head and side, "I guess we'll have to take you on a few rides or something..".
(Alan and Srish then finish their food and go back to having fun))
Annabelle and Jason manage to get some funnel cake for the time being, finding a nice seat that overlooks a good portion of the park, "This would be a great place to watch the fireworks." Annabelle pitched, seeing Jason nod seeing as he had his mouth full, which makes her chuckle a bit. All the while, Kristy and Christian give the love birds some privacy and get some food of their own nearby.
Fiona and Edmund manage to get some food, and dig in. While Edmund is astounded by the quality, Fiona pokes at her meal, seemingly uninterested in it or the park as a whole. Edmund sighs at seeing her negativity, "Hey...there's a quote my dad tells me whenever Im burning myself out over school...The more stress you accumulate, the heavier it becomes. If you accumulate too much, the weight of carrying it can break you. And then...well, you'll have no strength or drive to do what matters. In your case...that's school. If you can just learn to use what little time between school work you have to replenish your battery...you won't have to worry about burn out at all...self care is important...and it keeps you from missing out on the things you want to work on...you understand, right...? How do you plan on getting into medical school if you're so tired and exhausted that you cant focus?" He says, and nudges her plate towards her. "Can't use that big brain of yours on an empty stomach y'know..." He smirks. Fiona sighs, "Fine..." She takes a few bites and huffs, realizing that the food is genuinely incredible, and finds herself eating more and more, much to Edmunds surprise. "Atta girl."
