~ 'Robotomized Cream'

Robotomized Cream (ロボット化クリーム Robotto-ka kurīmu?) is a form that Cream The Rabbit takes in ChaosControl VA's Sonic AU. In an alternate universe,[12] while she and her family were among many others who were being held prisoner onboard the Death Egg (during the events of Sonic Forces),[13] Eggman brainwashed and submitted Cream into the process of Robotomy,[1] turning her into a powerful minion for the Eggman Empire. Eventually though, Team Spectrum enacted a successful rescue mission and brought Robotomized Cream back to the Resistance, where she was finally revived; despite that, Cream's aunt Berri The Rabbit has still not moved on from the trauma of the event, using it as motivation to try and prevent similar situations from happening again to others (even if on a smaller scale).[14][15][16]

Appearance[]

While Robotomized, Cream maintained most of her original appearance,[11] but it all mostly remained underneath the new metal armor that fit to her form; her entire head (with her eyes being an exception) was covered in metal plating, which was colored to resemble her actual head underneath. Her muzzle was covered by a grey metal one that had a red brim on the very top of it (with a yellow stripe going down the center of that very brim), which was connected to a blacked-out visor (with its own red brim) that covered her (then red) eyes, which glowed through the blackened glass. Her body was outfitted with a massive red chassis (with a pair of thin slits on each side of it) that had a grey metal piece in the center (being in-between each aforementioned pair of slits), with black shoulder plates and a yellow Eggman symbol on the center of that grey metal piece,[10] along with a yellow skirt at the bottom.[11] Cream's arms and legs were wrapped in metal plating that gave them the appearance of tubes, with her hands being covered in metal plating that made her fingers sharp to a point[17] (alongside thick yellow band cuffs that were adorned with spikes), and with her feet being covered in metal plating that was shaped to appear as the feet under her shoes[18] (with the front being black, the heels being yellow, and the ankles being red); when she needed to, her hands could be interchanged with several different weapons of hers, virtually replacing them until she was done using those weapons.[19] All of this plating was mostly sharp as it all came to its own separate points, with only a few parts that were more rounded.

Even after having been freed from the Robotomy process,[20] Cream's (normal) appearance still holds a few reminders of her ordeal, namely the (now-faded) scars on her wrists and chest (which are now normally hidden under her clothes, namely her dress and the cuffs of her gloves, for the most part),[11] though she doesn't seem to pay them too much attention.[21]

Personality[]

Gone was Cream's graceful, cherry, well-mannered, sweet, honest, and innocent personality;[21] thanks to Eggman's brainwashing and the Robotomy process, Robotomized Cream had no personality. She had been turned into a cold-hearted fighting machine, whose only thought was to serve the Eggman Empire. Any other thoughts she had were only allowed by Eggman, and even then, those other thoughts were really only objectives for her to fulfill. Along with her personality, she no longer was able to tap into her memories, making her cold and uncaring whenever she encountered the people she used to know. In this form, Cream could practically be viewed as an entirely different person...

Berri The Rabbit[]

Out of everyone who was traumatized by Cream's transformation, her aunt Berri was one of the people who were hit the hardest by it However, she did her best to keep her feelings to herself; Berri understood that seeing her start to lose hope wouldn't help with how the other prisoners on the Death Egg were doing the same, so she tried to push her feelings about Cream's condition down for the time being to help motivate her cellmates. Despite this, experiencing her niece being corrupted still rocked Berri to her core, with her becoming more protective of Cream[22] and even resolving to protect other children from suffering a similar fate.[15] Berri's heart would continue break during further encounters with Robotomized Cream (after having been freed from the Death Egg),[23] but she was still determined to save her niece, a conviction which led her to join Team Spectrum for their final rescue mission.[20] Needless to say, after Cream was revived, Berri was relieved that her niece was back to normal, but her new convictions that this experience caused still remained.[15]

Vanilla The Rabbit[]

Out of everyone who was traumatized by Cream's transformation, her mother Vanilla was one of the people who were hit the hardest by it. However, unlike her sister Berri,[14] Vanilla had a hard time keeping her emotions in check, and so she went into a deep state of depression.[24] Vanilla would remain in this state for a long while, only breaking free from it after Cream was revived.[20]

Dr. Eggman[]

Because she was technically a brainwashed Badnik, Robotomized Cream saw Eggman as a god, completely indebted to her creator. The only thoughts she had in her head revolved around Eggman and whatever he wanted,[25] and she was absolutely willing to fulfill such wishes to the letter. She was also unwilling to believe anything that may bring her image of Eggman into question, having naturally been programmed to be an extremally loyal servant to him after all.[25]
