Red the Dingo is a 2022 adventure game, and is the 3rd and final Sonic game on the now out-of-date Cyclone Tempest, and the only to have a 3rd person 3D perspective on the console. It is also the final Sonic title created by Cyclone Interactive and the first title to feature Cyclone's first exclusive original Sonic character, Red. Instead of the traditional action/platformer formula synonymous with the Sonic franchise, Red the Dingo is a treasure hunting adventure game. However, you still have to fight badniks and bosses. When you play the game, each zone's Key of Shadows will appear in a random place in every playthrough.
Story
Dr. Eggman wants to gather the 9 Keys of Shadows to conquer all 9 trial bosses and unleash a dark force that will wipe the world clean and leave a blank slate, perfect for his plan to build Eggmanland. Red decides to gather all the keys and use the dark force for good to ruin Eggman's evil scheme.
Turquoise Sanctuary Zone
A ruin made of blue stone. The first key and trial boss are located here.
Azure Bay Zone
A beach with crystal clear blue water. The second key and trial boss are located here.
Scarlet Sands Zone
A desert of red sand and hills. The third key and trial boss are located here.
Dead Woods
A forest of dead, twisted trees that give off very spooky vibes. The 4th key and trial boss are located here.
Ocean Cave
This underwater cave is a drowning danger. The 5th key and trial boss are located here.
Lethal Machine
Eggman got his hands on a Chaos Emerald, and is put into a zone-sized machine designed to kill Red if he were to try to retrieve it. The 6th key and trial boss are located here
Amethyst Forest
A purple forest. The 7th key and trial boss are located here.
Diamond Savannah
A large, wide-opened desert with bushes above a diamond mine. The 8th key and trial boss are located here.
Sleeping Valley
A grassy area between 2 large mountain ranges. The 9th key and trial boss are located here.
Lost in Darkness
After Eggman stole the artifacts and unleashed the Dark Force, you must destroy it to save the world.
