The Red Fox Pack are a group of Mobians that appear in The Legend of Fox the Brave. They are a subgroup of the Fox Tribe, and arguably one of the most well-known Tribe groups in the series. As the name suggests, they are made up entirely of wild red foxes. Currently, they live in Lamarkie Forest
The Red Fox Pack are a group of Mobian red foxes who were neighbors and allies of the Echidnas at one point, and are part of the Fox Tribe, one of the many Tribes inhabiting Mobius in the continuity of The Legend of Fox the Brave. When the Dark Legion was created, they became mortal enemies of the Pack, and clashed with them on several occasions; known victims of this conflict are Hemlock-a warrior-and Darkfoot-a young apprentice. They function quite similarly to the Clans from the book series Warriors(which has also been adapted into the series), but few have actual Warrior Cat names(for example, Darkfoot, Redpelt, Firestorm). The Pack currently resides in Lamarkie Forest under the leadership of Rush.

In ancient times, the Pack lived in an unknown part of Mobius. The other Tribe groups also lived nearby, leading to constant trouble with a particularly aggressive wolf named Argus. After Redstone's battle with Sonic.EXE, the Red Fox Pack fled out of fear, vanishing for a long time.
In ancient times, the Pack-along with the other Fox Packs and the other Tribes-lived on Bygone Island. After Redstone's battle with Sonic.EXE, they fled to another World(or Zone) and built a Village that would eventually become Lamarkie Village(Jon mistakenly says that a saber named Lamarkie-Mark for short-built it). After Garrett's death, the Pack moved back to their old territory, but an unknown time afterward, the Pack were driven from their home, and eventually settled near Albion and became the Echidnas' neighbors. Following the destruction of Albion, the Foxes followed the Echidnas to Angel Island until Enerjak was brought back during the infamous War of Time. While rampaging on Angel Island returning the Echidnas to Albion and banishing the Dingoes, Enerjak also went after the Red Fox Pack. Enerjak threw them off the Island and they were forced to once again relocate, eventually settling in Lamarkie Forest after Roy found them(with a very remorseful Knuckles)

Long, long ago, before the population of the Worlds were true Mobians, the Pack was formed by a red fox named Keen. The Fox Tribe was formed from there, with other foxes creating the other Pack of the Tribe. Not much is known about them after
The Red Fox Pack was formed as part of the Fox Tribe during Bygone Island's early days. At this time, Mobians and Pokemon kept to themselves, and as a result, one of the Pack's warriors, Redstone, was viewed as an outcast because of his friendship with a Frogadier named Vero. Redstone left to combat Sonic.EXE, but would accompany them to their new territory since Vero was away helping build another Village. Redstone later died of illness, and his son Garrett left to return to his father's old home. The Pack would later return after Garrett died of wounds he suffered saving the Worlds from a Sonic.EXE possessed Argus the Wolf. An unknown time later, the Pack would be driven from their home and settled near the Echidna city of Albion, living in peace with them until the Dark Legion was created, and the two forces clashed repeatedly, resulting in many fatalities in the Pack(Hemlock and Darkfoot to name a couple). When Albion was destroyed and the Echidnas forced to relocate to Angel Island, the Pack went with them, since several foxes and Echidnas had been friends. In The Villain's Reveal, Silver the Lucario-who'd traveled back in time following Dr. Finitevus' ambush and brutal assault on Michael Smith-helped them. Later, during the War of Time, Enerjak found the Pack and promised to free them from their constant conflict. Following the Pack's mistrust and disrespect, Enerjak coldly states that if they choose to feel the way they did, then they will perish, lifting the entire Pack with his powers. Stating that they had fought Echidnas(the Dark Legion) and that it was an unforgivable offense, throws the Pack away. They land in a forest, and Woodrow is badly injured when he breaks his leg bringing Rush down from a tree. They walk for about a week and finally settle in a camp actually not far from the Red Wolf Pack, and fight with them on a constant basis, eventually leading to Firestorm's death. They are saved by Gray Wolf Pack warriors and brought to the Gray Wolves' camp, where a grown-up Rush is named Woodrow's deputy and is given Raiden as an apprentice. They are soon pointed out a camp a few days' journey away from the Gray Wolf camp, and travel there where they live peacefully until several moons(months) later, when Roy and Knuckles(deeply regretting his actions as Enerjak) find them, and Roy offers them a place in Lamarkie Forest. Rush, the new leader, initially turns this down, deciding that he couldn't uproot his Pack yet again. Finally, they move to the Forest and have stayed there since. It's also discovered that Mona-Roy's sister-and her mate Jon have chosen to stay with the Pack because of their psychic son Phoenix.

 +
 +
Some many years later, a young warrior named Redstone became the first Mobian to befriend a Pokemon, becoming friends with a Frogadier named Vero. Together, they would often hang out, and both became ostracized from their respective communities. However this friendship would prove instrumental in bringing the downfall of a dangerous enemy(thought to be Lyric the Last Ancient)
 +
 +
Approximately 400 years ago, the Pack lived in what is now known as Mystic Ruins. Led by a fox named Coriander, they came into conflict with the local Knuckles Clan of Echidnas. This conflict cost many lives on both sides. Coriander stubbornly refused to listen to her healer at the time, a fox named Ryder. Ultimately, the Pack would be driven out, left to wander Mobius once more
 +
 +
In modern day, the Pack reappeared the forest outside the Echidna city of Albion, southwest of Mercia. They initially tried settling in the forest near Mercia itself, some ways away from the Hidden Village Tai grew up in. But as strange activity began to happen, the foxes grew suspicious and investigated. They found the Dark Legion becoming active in their territory, terrorizing the locals. Soon, they turned their attention to the Pack
 +
 +
The Legion began viciously attacking and persecuting them, trying to capture them for reasons unknown. At first Sandfur refused to move, thinking they could chase off the Legion, but when Enerjak showed himself, and proved powerful enough to handle even a feral, rampaging Mega Charizard, and later attempted to kidnap the young cub Buzzard, Sandfur admitted defeat and moved her Pack
 +
 +
The Pack moved south, and settled in the forest outside the Echidna city of Albion, befriending the neighboring Jackal Pack, who also lived in the nearby woods. The Legion ended up tracking them down after finding the city, and continued their relentless persecution of the Pack. Several foxes died as a result of their attacks, and the young warrior Buzzard developed a strong hatred of Echidnas after his father Redscar was killed
 +
 +
Young apprentice Firestorm befriended the Albion scientist Dr. Finitevus, and the two formed a close bond. However, this was changed when Firestorm was a young warrior. When the Guardian Knuckles lost control of his powers, Finitevus volunteered to try to stop him, using the Chaos Siphon suit. But something went horribly wrong, and the resulting explosion affected the doctor, Firestorm, and another warrior named Hemlock. Hemlock was killed, but Firestorm survived...and was left with horrendous burn scars
 +
 +
When the city was later attacked by the Eggman Empire, the Pack tried to help the civilians escape, but several warriors disappeared or were killed in the attack. Racket, the leader of the Pack at the time, was tragically killed, and because his deputy Wikstrom had vanished, Firestorm stepped up to lead the Pack. In the aftermath of the attack, he led the Pack to Angel Island, where they lived in the forest near Echidnaopolis
 +
 +
The Pack continued to suffer attacks because of the Dark Legion, to the point Buzzard starved to death, and Darkfoot was killed trying to escape. But with no means of escape, the Pack tried their best to hide from their enemies. The war between the Pack and the Legion died down when the dingoes rose as a power on the island. The Pack mostly stayed out of the conflict, but relished the peace they got from the Legion. However, it was noted that they constantly had the dingoes pressing on their borders, and eventually had to chase them off to save Austin
 +
 +
The Pack would remain on Angel Island until the return of Enerjak. For reasons yet unclear(Enerjak reasoned it was because of their conflict with the Legion), the Pack were thrown from the island, once more becoming homeless. This cemented a hatred of all Echidnas in the Pack's members. Enerjak also became a sort of boogeyman to them. Any mention of him frightened the Pack
 +
 +
They finally settled in Mystic Ruins(ironically unaware of their previous stay in the forest 400 years ago), and made themselves comfortable among the locals. They befriended the local Pokemon, and gained allies in a pack of Lycanroc led by a one-eyed warrior named Splinter. However, new trouble arose from the forest, as the Legion once again returned, now under the employment of Dr. Eggman
 +
 +
The Legion hired a squad of mercenaries-the Jackal Squad-to keep the "troublesome locals" away from their operations, and it resulted in a vicious, ongoing conflict with the Pack. After Boulder arrived with the ninja Kai, he discovered the Squad's current allegiance to the Legion, spurring them to act quickly. After finding the Pack were in the forest, the Legion attacked the Pack, and captured most of them. Only Firestorm, the wolf Stormfast, and the Rockruff Dawn escaped
 +
 +
Firestorm appealed to the Acorn Council, getting their help in raiding Robotropolis to save his Pack. He was ultimately successful, but after a lot of arguing, and explaining how there could be a pack of wild Mobians hiding in the forest. Ultimately, the warriors helped raid Robotropolis with the Freedom Fighters, and were able to rescue the Pack
 +
 +
Once more homeless, Firestorm gave up hope at finding a safe place for his Pack to stay. After speaking with Fox, he decided to move his Pack to the Lamarkie Forest. There, they were able to finally have a safe place to live. Unharried by enemies, and with a proper healer at last, the Pack were finally able to flourish. They live in the Lamarkie Forest to this day, though the scars of their past traumas still remain

Enerjak has become a boogeyman figure to the Pack. Those who were alive during his rampage while possessing Knuckles remember that time with fear. The story of this has been passed down, and solidified a hatred of Echidnas among the Pack's people
There are two foxes in the Pack who were named Redpelt.

 +
* One appears in Secrets of the Past as leader of the Pack. He succeeds the old leader Firefur, and tries to get Ferrell to join him, but the one-eyed rogue turns him down, believing that Redpelt was an arrogant fool who wanted to control the grandson of the hero who stopped Sonic.EXE

 +
Unlike foxes in real life, the Red Fox Pack can howl. It is described as higher-pitched and more scratchy compared to a wolf's howl
* The other is the one who has appeared in more modern times. He is a short-tempered brute, but loyal to his Packmates. He is the one to deduce that Enerjak tossed them because of their constant fights with the Dark Legion(which was made up entirely of Echidnas, and the Knuckles Enerjak still held a deep regard for his people)

Braveheart and Midnight are interesting in that both of their parents are directly descended from the Pack.

* Their maternal grandfather Grizzly was once a member, being Firestorm's brother, while their paternal grandfather Torch is directly descended from Redstone, who also left the Pack.

** Something else to note is that Redstone lived 1,000 years ago, and-like Grizzly-left of his own volition, while his kin lived in the Pack(but Garrett would later leave)

There are two foxes in the series who were named Heather.

* One appears in Return of the Werehog as the snide and snobbish mother of Karra and Maako who ditches her family for Orville the Wolf when he reveals himself to be an associate of Eggman.

* The other is Hemlock's sister, who grieves his death after Hemlock is shot by a Dark Legion Echidna.

** It is currently unknown if they are one and the same, but this might be unlikely given the different time periods and radically different personalities.

*** A possible explanation for if they are the same is that she became hardened by Hemlock's death and left her Pack to be with Grizzly, only to abandon him as well, though again, this is unlikely.

In the Godfall timeline, they play a slightly larger role, particularly in the first story, as Firestorm is one of the POV characters

Policies

The Pack are a very tight-knit community. They view loyalty to each other above all else, and work together on their matters. They have a simple hierarchy, with the leader, then the deputy, then warriors beneath them. Apprentices are trained by the older warriors, while cubs are kept in the camp at all times

Religion

Like the other Fox Tribe Packs and other Tribes, the Red Fox Pack believes strongly in the Spirits in the Stars.

Habitat

In ancient times, the Pack lived in an unknown part of Mobius. The other Tribe groups also lived nearby, leading to constant trouble with a particularly aggressive wolf named Argus. After Redstone's battle with Sonic.EXE, the Red Fox Pack fled out of fear, vanishing for a long time.

When they reappeared, they lived outside of Albion, before being driven to Angel Island, where they lived in the forest, a fair distance from Echidnaopolis

After being thrown from the Island, they moved to Mystic Ruins, until leaving with a warrior patrol

After arriving at the Storming Base, they made a permanent home in Lamarkie Forest until the Metal Virus Scare, where they fled to parts unknown to avoid it.

History

Long, long ago, before the population of the Worlds were true Mobians, the Pack was formed by a red fox named Keen. The Fox Tribe was formed from there, with other foxes creating the other Pack of the Tribe. Not much is known about them after

Eggman

Trivia

Enerjak has become a boogeyman figure to the Pack. Those who were alive during his rampage while possessing Knuckles remember that time with fear. The story of this has been passed down, and solidified a hatred of Echidnas among the Pack's people

Unlike foxes in real life, the Red Fox Pack can howl. It is described as higher-pitched and more scratchy compared to a wolf's howl
