Proudfoot the Wolf is a male gray wolf who became friends with Garrett, Ferrell, and their Charizard Fireclaw. He is Argus the Wolf's son and only known relative, though he lacks his father's xenophobia and aggression.

Proudfoot is a stocky Mobian gray wolf with thick pale gray fur, and amber eyes.
Personality
Proudfoot is a kind, friendly person who is a bit reserved. Little else is known.
History
Before the Series: Proudfoot's past is largely unknown. Most likely, he was born into the Gray Wolf Pack and grew into a warrior there.
Legends of the Past: Proudfoot makes a minor appearance when he is on his father Argus' patrol. When Argus furiously attacks Redstone as the fox is trying to escape him, Proudfoot begs his father to stop.
Shadows of the Past: Proudfoot first appears after the meeting in the beginning of the story. He asks Garrett and Fireclaw to help him save his father, and after some hesitation, the two agree to help. Two days later, Proudfoot is mentioned to have gone to another meeting alongside Garrett to tell the leaders about a plan of his to stop "Argus.EXE". He is then seen behind Garrett when they visit the Gray Fox Pack's home to see a horrifically wounded Ferrell. Proudfoot then decides to help Garrett train to take down a wolf, and later saves Garrett from "Argus.EXE" during their fight. Sonic.EXE taunts Proudfoot for going against his father, but Proudfoot snarls that he is not his father. Later, when Garrett kills Argus, Proudfoot whispers that he forgives them both before Garrett falls to the ground and dies of his wounds. In the Epilogue, Proudfoot sadly delivers the news of Garrett's death, and meets Vero the Greninja, who has returned from constructing Greninja Village.
Secrets of the Past: Proudfoot is mentioned in the Prologue, with his chin resting on Ferrel's flank and tickling it with his snoring.
