The Interview[]
# 1. What inspired you to create Nikki?
- A) That's a surprisingly difficult question. I created her so long ago, and she's changed so much. I've always loved singing, so I made singing a big part of her personality as well. Since then I've been getting inspiration from a lot of other sonic characters.
# 2. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate Nikki depending on how much you personally like her compared to your other characters?
- A) I'd rate her about an 8. For a while I stopped working on her page and paid more attention to my other characters, but even then she was still personally one of my favorite characters i'd created. Now I'm working on her a lot more, and she has a much deeper connection to me than my other characters.
# 3. Has Nikki had any embarrassing moments in her life? Like say, saying something bad at the worst time?
- A) Though it's not on her page, there was a time when Nikki was singing for the King and Queen a while back and her voice cracked a lot of the time, but this was only because back then she was just entering her teens and her voice was changing a lot. It was embarrassing at first to mess up like that in front of King Ryouma and Queen Anita, but she didn't let it get to her and instead redid the performance once she felt better.
# 4. Regarding her fire abilities, has Nikki ever expressed fear over them becoming too much for her to control?
- A) Actually, yes. When she first obtained her fire powers, Nikki was actually really fearful of what would happen if she were to lose control of her powers through emotions, specifically anger. She was given those red bracelets around her wrist to "tone down" her powers, though I will go more into that as I continue my Tales of Mobius series. Don't wanna spoil too much!
# 5. If Nikki were in an RPG or an MMO of some sort, what role do you think she would play? (Healer, Tank, Damage, etc)
- A) She would probably be a heavy damage-dealing attacked with decent speed, but would have low defenses.
# 6. Regarding your answer to question 2, would you say Nikki is your fursona?
- A) Well- yes and no. She does share some similarities to me, like the singing and ice cream being her favorite food, but then again her personality is very different from mine. I also think that if I were to associate myself with a power, it would probably be related to healing. So...half fursona maybe?
# 7. Finally, do you have any plans for future adventures with Nikki?
- A) Well, I definitely want to add more to her history in order for people to understand her more. Maybe give her powers their own little story as well. I plan on giving more info about her father, as well as her newly introduce voice synthesizer friend, Yumi! She will gain more info as my series continues, and her adventures will be endless!
