Nature is one of the many elements used in the Sonic Fanon universe, amongst others. It is one of the ten main Elements; the others include;
Its opposite is Poison.
Elemental Description[]
The control of plants is the basic fundamentals of the Nature Element. The manipulation or generation of vines, wood, leaves, and other flora bears a variety of uses; strong and possibly thorny vines to trap and ensnare, razor-edged leaves to slash and slice, sturdy wood and bark to serve as armor or a shield, dense foliage to shroud and conceal... Nature is quite a versatile Element as a result, but doesn't really excel in any one category, making it a jack-of-all-trades.
Nature's intrinsic ties with life and growth allow for more skilled users to draw upon this energy to boost their healing factor and even heal minor wounds; on the more physical side, this allows for the creation of medicinal plants and herbs for healing or other uses, and can also be used to intensify or alter the natural qualities of plants, such as causing flora to grow faster or in different ways.
Notable Interactions with Other Elements[]
Blue = no contest (victor)
Green = typically strong match-up
Yellow = typically even match-up
Red = typically poor match-up
Purple = no contest (loser)
All scenarios assume that the involved combatants are 'normal' (I.E not deities or unusual cases in general)
- Water -
- Fire - A Nature wielder's ability to summon vines, thorns, etc. is generally rendered useless against a Fire wielder, as plants are quite flammable; a battle between a Fire wielder and a Nature wielder typically ends up one-sided as a result. Even a strong Nature wielder can be troubled by a novice Fire wielder, and often the former's only hope for victory is that the weather is not on the Fire wielder's side.
- Ice - Plantlife is often ill-equipped to deal with frigid temperatures and ice, and Ice's offensively-oriented nature allows it to rip through any vines or leaves or whatnot that a Nature wielder can manifest, even easily cracking through bark armor. Even a high-level Nature wielder can be troubled by a novice Ice-wielder, and often the former's only hope for victory is that the weather is not on the Ice wielder's side.
- Metal - There's simply no contest here; Metal wielders will rip through anything a Nature wielder can throw at them without breaking a sweat. Even the sharpest leaves and vines are incapable of leaving a scratch against basic Metal-element defensive techniques.
