This is an article about Moros the Fragment Fox, a character created by Saren the Dark Lynx on 03/10/2015.

Appearance

Moros takes on the appearance of a black furred Mobian fox with yellow eyes, black ears and a tail that have a gunmetal grey coloration on the tips of the fur, and on the inside of the ears, and a gunmetal grey furred muzzle. There is a scar on his neck but it's not really noticeable thanks to his fur. He wears a white crown with the nobody sigil clearly visible on the front, a plain yellow short sleeved T-shirt, white gloves on his hands, a simple pair of light blue jeans with plain looking socks and black shoes. He could also be seen wearing simplistic white plate armor that is meant to offer protection in close range combat should he find himself in such situations..

True Void Ascendance

True void ascendance is a change exclusive only to those who are deeply connected to the void, or is the void in Moros' case, While it does not grant any new powers. It does give a slight increase to the void user/diety's powers and is marked by the formation of void armor, with each set of void armor having a unique appearance to the specific void user. This armor grants increased defence but can be shattered by overwhelming force. In the case of Moros, he can ascend just by adding more power to his fragment form. However, this form is not permanent, Continued usage can overwhelm the user and possibly erase them. Or in Moros' case, his fragment form will temporarily cease to exist. While in True Void Ascendance, or a partial transformation for True Void Ascendance, Moros is able to verbally communicate. Something which he takes some joy in.

Moros' armor is basically a long sleeved black mages yukata, perfect for ease of movement and maneuverability, it should also be noted that Moros' normally black and grey fur turns a light shade of grey with a stark white muzzle. He also loses the crown, his hair grows out a bit longer than normal and turns a lighter shade of grey than his fur. His normally gold eyes also turn a nice shade of magenta.

Personality

Moros at a glance seems to be a shy loner who shows absolutely no emotion. That is partially true thanks to Moros being a fragment spawned out of the emptiness one would feel after such a tragic loss. If one were to look into his eyes, or his face, they would find nothing in the way of emotions. If someone were to try and speak with him he would just look at them with a blank expression and not respond back. That is because he is mute due to an injury that left a scar on his neck. This injury had damaged his vocal chords beyond repair, thus he had lost the ability to verbally communicate.

Skills

Decision making skills

Since Moros has no emotions he would be able to make sound decisions even under pressure because he wouldn't have to worry about emotions playing a part in his decision making process. Meaning that he could make the most logical decisions even if others would consider them cold and heartless.

Analytical skills

Moros, thanks to many years of experience under pressure, is able to calmly analyze a situation and pick up on things or clues that most others would miss. This is usually seen when he gets suspicious of something and the observations he makes are usually the determining factor on what decisions he makes.

Intelligence

Moros, being an ancient entity, would have more experience and knowledge in things than most mortals. He even has a photographic memory which means he would be able to learn and retain things easier than those without a photographic memory. Though he does have trouble with understanding slang because he usually avoids teenagers even though he takes on the form of a seventeen year old male fox.

Experience

Moros has been around for a long time, meaning that he has learned many things, from trivial things like operating a shower to events that have been long lost to the annals of history. Thus he would know multiple different ways to solve a problem, usually in a peaceful manner.

Situational Awareness

Moros, due to his eons of experience that comes with being an ancient entity that isn't out of touch with reality, has a situational awareness unmatched by mortals today, this doesn't mean he cannot be surprised but he can quickly turn things around in his favor. However, his slight arrogance can lead to his downfall and he knows it.

Moderate Acrobatics

Moros, due to his lithe frame, is naturally unable to take a punch as well as most other characters. Thus, he has taken to learning acrobatics. Nothing fancy or show-offish, just enough so he could further stay at long range and anticipate his opponents movements in order to make dodging easier.

Long range specialist

Moros sucks at close range, his physique is not meant for fighting up close and personal and he knows it. Thus he's spent all his time training with his abilities in order to adapt them to best fot his style. Along with his acrobatics and his tendency to summon ethereal blades and launch them strategically, long range is where he excels. His fighting style incorporates mild acrobatics, small bursts of void magic and summoning ethereal blades, which he can either use them as traps or laubch them as decoys. They also make for excellent defense when he wills them to circle around him at fast speeds.

Fragment State

Moros does have limits on his abilities that he must abide by while on the mortal plane, thus he fragments himself and interacts with others in this fragmented state. This fragment state is what others who interact with Moros will most likely see and interact with.

It should be noted that with the exception of Moros unrestricted, Moros will only be able to use his erasure ability to temporarily erase anything that is not an attack of some sort. However, he must have knowledge on how the target of his erasure ability works in order to erase it, and the time limit on how long an object stays erased is dependant on how much he knows about the object.

Void Manipulation

Moros is able to manipulate the void for a variety of different purposes ranging from healing small wounds to erasing individuals from existence to even erasing reality itself, however, he is bound by stringent rules and limitations that limits the power he has in the mortal plain. Void manipulation is the root of his powers, with each subsequent power branching off from this.

Nothingness Constructs

Moros can create constructs out of void energy, however this ability is limited only to simplistic weapons and objects like blunt objects, bladed weapons like rapiers and even small shields. They can be formed multiple times in mid air to be used as projectiles but that usually leaves moros open for a counter attack if he uses the projectiles repeatedly.

Application for Nothingness Constructs

Users can create any item they have seen or can imagine and have a good idea how it functions.

Uses for Nothingness Constructs

  • Animating the element for various purposes.
  • Appendages
    • Elemental Wing Manifestation
  • Powered Exoskeletons/armors
  • Force-Field Generation
    • Shield Construction
    • Wall Generation
  • Energy Duplication/Duplicating himself
  • Creating fortifications
  • Golem Creation
    • Entity Creation
  • Platform Creation
  • Binding
  • Weapon Creation
    • Blade Construction
    • Natural Weaponry
    • Whip Generation

Nothingness Infusion

Moros can channel void magic into any weapon he desires, those void enpowered weapons gain new abilities that allow them to erase the attacks of the wielders opponents to even the opponents moros or anyone else with a void empowered weapon would be fighting if the weapon managed to deliver a solid hit.

Applications for Nothingness Infusion

The user can infuse objects (usually a weapon), beings or powers with nothingness/void, empowering and energizing them and allowing the user to manipulate their qualities and efficiency, allowing them to destroy targets, from the enemies themselves to their abilities.

Uses for Nothingness Infusion

  • Amplify the strength, energy and power of weapons.
  • Charged Attacks/Energy Wave Emission
  • Disintegration/Energy Absorption/Matter Absorption
  • Efficacy Manipulation including Velocity Manipulation, density Manipulation, Layer Reinforcement and/or Sharpness Manipulation.
  • Power Erasure.

Powers of True Void Ascendance

Moros gains the necessary energy to use these powers because True Void Ascendance is basically when Moros bends the rules that dictate how much power he can use in the mortal plane. However, this is just a far cry of his true strength.

Applications of Nothingness Manipulation

Users can remove items from existence. Some users may simply make things disappear others may be able to prevent energy from ever being conceived. Some users can delete an eternity, removing targets from all lineages of time in every dimension. Similar to Energy Manipulation, users can alter, reverse, or negate energy, granting them almost infinite abilities. This could also lead to ultimate goal of "destroying matter", as in bringing it out of existence.

Uses for Nothingness Manipulation

  • Black Hole Creation
    • Gravitational Singularity Generation
    • Send the surrounding air and oxygen into oblivion causing the target to suffocate.
  • Delete negative aspects such as injuries and death, preventing death.
    • Apathy by erasing emotions.
    • Memory Erasure by deleting parts of target mind.
    • Negative Zone Creation
    • Power Erasure
    • Regenerative Healing Factor/Immortality by deleting injuries and death. (he can erase moderate wounds, erasing severe and death would require him to be in the void lest he erases himself.)
  • Destruction
    • Cause targets to have never existed.
    • Cutting by deleting a portion of object.
    • Destroy all of existence in a single wave, resetting the universe. (would result in his own erasure.)
    • Obliterate the bonds of objects causing them to collapse.
    • Selectively destroy planets or other heavenly bodies. (Would end up badly for Moros.)
    • Unleash an obliterating wave that can cause the fabric of reality to temporarily collapse. (would result in him erasing himself as well.)
  • Flight and Levitation by erasing gravity.
  • Imperceptibility
    • Intangibility
    • Tracking Evasion by having "nothing" to track on.
  • Null Energy Manipulation
    • Nothingness Constructs
    • Nothingness Infusion
    • Null Zone Emission
  • Teleportation by disappearing and reappearing.
    • Deleting space and distance in between target and oneself.
    • Create stabilized wormholes with negative energy.

Moros Unrestricted

Moros is at his full power in the void, where there is not much hope of defeating him. His power in the void is unchecked and unrestricted, and how does one fight a being who could erase anything in the void that is undesirable to it.

Nonexistence

This power is only available to Moros when he in the void because these abilities would disrupt the natural balance of Mobius and posssibly erase him in his fragment form.

Applications for Nonexistence

This ability allows the user to completely annihilate anything and everything, without any protection nor exception of any kind.

There are two main categories of targets: concrete and abstract. Used on concrete targets, the power has an effect similar to Nothingness Manipulation, effectively annihilating objects and beings.

When used on abstract targets however, the effect is more subtle and similar to Logic Manipulation, annihilating the corresponding targets and reorganizing reality accordingly. For example, erasing the concept of "door" would not only erase the door, but also replace it with a portion of the corresponding wall (as if the door never existed).

Needless to say, the user is universally dreaded as the embodiment of the Primal Fear - with good reason.

Uses for Nonexistence

Moros would not be able to use any of these abilities past the fourth one in each list because he would have to remain 'whole' in a sense to be able to access them and since he is sealed up inside the void itself he cannot enter into the mortal plane unless he were to drastically weaken himself in the mortal plane by 'fragmenting' a minuscule portion of himself and sending it to the mortal plane. Either way, he doesn't have any interest in destroying or ruling anything because that would leave him with nothing to do and nothing to entertain him.

Nature Of The Power

Nonexistence is a specialized variation of Omnipotence: it has the same unlimited / infinite / absolute power, but focuses all of it on the pure and simple annihilation of any target, making it instantly and completely nonexistent.

Nonexistence thus combines simplicity and perfection, achieving complete invincibility through the erasure of all opposition, surpassing the original Omnipotence in terms of fighting potential, as a natural consequence of its equal level and absolute specialization in the most effective form of offense/defense.

Yet, despite this fighting superiority, Nonexistence remains a fundamentally subtractive power. As such, it cannot produce any result that can be considered a creation. It may indirectly correct, restore or replace, but never create.

Reality Consumption

Moros can literally consume aspects of reality to gain more power in the void. Basically if someone were to use time based abilities on him while fighting him in the void, he would be able to absorb the attack, gaining the energy put into the attack and nullifying the attack itself.

Applications for Reality Consumption

The user can devour or absorb literally anything and everything. This includes matter, space, time, energy, chronolocks, negative energy, pocket dimensions, antimatter, anything that exists. The user may grow, both in size and strength, every time they absorb something.

Uses for Reality Consumption

  • Absorption
  • Cosmic Hunger
  • Space-Time Absorption

Total Event Collapse

This is the one ability Moros will never use as this will result in the complete and total erasure of everything including himself, since that goes against Moros' fundamental desire to explore and have fun. It also doesn't help that he would be effectively killing all of his friends and followers, something which Moros could not do.

Applications for Total Event Collapse

User can destroy every single object in a universe and every other parallel universe effectively annihilating all of creation, even up to destroying every point in history effectively undoing creation. If the user destroys every moment in history they could create a paradox from all the different timelines being altered.

Uses for Total Event Collapse

  • Atomic Cancellation
  • Electric Field Negation
  • Destruction
  • Null Zone Emission

Reality Rejection

The user can achieve supernatural feats by rejecting aspects of reality. They can become indestructible by denying physical damage, deny the laws of physics, and even become immortal by denying death/aging.

Applications of Reality Rejection

Basic Applications:

  • Apathy by denying emotions.
  • Death Inducement
  • Event Negation
  • Infinite Supply
  • Invulnerability
  • Limited Physics Manipulation
  • Levitation or Flight by denying gravity.
  • Resurrection

Advanced Applications:

  • Absolute Immortality by denying death.
  • Absolute Restoration by denying irreversible act.
  • Causality Negation by rebuking cause and effect.
  • Immutability by denying changes to oneself.
  • Meta Ability Creation by denying impossibilities correctly.
  • Nonexistence by denying the existence of something.
  • Omnilock by rejecting all of reality in general.
  • Power Immunity by denying the effects of all superpowers.
  • Universal Irreversibility by rejecting events that negate ones actions.

Abilities

Smell

Having the form of a fox, Moros would have a sense of smell similar to the level that most canines do, though a Bloodhound or a German Shephard could easily be able to track down objects based on smell better than he could, thus he could smell things much better than most non canine mobians.

Hearing

Moros has a great sense of hearing thanks to him taking on the form of a fox. While this may have advantages such as being harder to sneak up on or misdirect him using certain sounds, he is still vulnerable to objects such as dog whistles and other objects that emit a high frequency noise as such objects cause him, and most canine mobians, pain.

Stoicism

Moros, due to being spawned from the dimensional void. Would have no emotions to show, meaning his face is blank. This further extends to situations where he is hurt or being tortured. Meaning that he could have a gun pointed to his head by a guy who he had just saw shoot someone else and his facial expressions would not change from his usual blank expression at all.

Weaknesses

Poor close ranged fighter

Moros, due to his slim body structure, is not very skilled at close quarters combat. Thus, a good way to defeat him would be to try and engage him up close and personal. Though actually getting close to Moros is a challenge as he will actively be trying to keep his distance from his opponent.

Mute

Since Moros is mute. He cannot convey what he's trying to say as well as someone who could speak and if one were to take into account his lack of emotions, there should be no surprise that Moros would come out as socially awkward and apathetic. Hence why he does not like to interact with hot tempered and rash people and will avoid such people if at all possible.

Apathy

Moros is a fragment of a greater entity which resides in the dimensional void, meaning that he would be unable to feel any sort of emotion at all. Which is a bad thing if he was dealing with or talking to a person or a group of people who are more in tune with their emotions because of his lack of emotions or emotional understanding because this would most likely rub those people the wrong way and cause unneeded hostilities.

Arrogance

Moros, despite his seemingly down to earth if not inexpressive persona, does suffer from arrogance as all beings who could be considered immortal do. Meaning he could be winning a battle, let his guard down and give his opponent(s) a chance to defeat him. Though 'dying' won't truly affect him as when he 'dies' he is just returned to the void and from there he can just fragment himself again and send that fragment back to mobius.

Inability to cross over into the mortal plane at full power

Moros, as a consequence of having immense power, is unable to cross over into Mobius due to him being sealed away in the void as a result of his past hubris, over time, he found a loophole in his banishment. This loophole basically stated that he could not enter into the mortal plain at his full power, thus. Over a time frame of eons, Moros had perfected the ability to split off an infinitesimal portion of his power and send it to Mobius, this 'fragment' would have enough of the sealed off Moros' original conscious and soul to act as a vessel for Moros so he could interact with the mortal realm and keep himself entertained at the cost of losing access to most of his powers.

Limitations of Nothingness Manipulation

  • May be subject to self-termination, when Nothingness overtakes the user.
  • Users may accidentally remove parts of themselves, emotions, memories, or even physical pieces.
  • Users may not realize they have the power by deleting from their own mind as well.
  • Users of Nonexistence may overpower the user.

Limitations of Nothingness Constructs

  • May be unable to "create" nothingness, being limited to shaping from already existing sources.
  • Construct structural strength may be limited by the users will.
  • In most cases constructs will return back into their original state if the User becomes unconscious, leaves the proximity or otherwise loses contact/control of the item.
  • May be limited on how complicated constructs they can create (ie. no/limited amount of moving parts).

Limitations of Nothingness Infusion

Shares the same limitations as nothing manipulation and nothingness constructs because both Nothingness Infusion and Nothingness Infusion are a subset of Nothingness Manipulation.

Limitations of Nonexistence

  • Users are immune (one with the power).
  • Cannot create/manipulate anything, even indirectly.
  • Targets must be clearly identified (beware collateral damage).
  • Will not work on beings with Omnipotence.
  • Users of Absolute Restoration can undo the effects and make everything erased reappear.

Limitations of Reality Consumption

  • May destroy entire universes, due to their hunger.
  • May grow until they are unable to maintain their mass, creating a big bang and releasing everything they've consumed to create a new universe.
  • User cannot devour those with Omnilock.
  • User can be sealed off in an empty plane of existence and starve to death.

Limitations of Reality Rejection

  • User must be in constant denial to maintain these feats.
  • Whatever the user accepts can be used against them.
  • Moros cannot use this ability to reject his imprisonment in the void or to reject his power limitations in the mortal plane.

Trivia

Moros has abilities based on the Xemnas bossfights in KH2. (Regular Xemnas in black cloak, the nobody castle/dragon, Xemnas in that really gaudy and impractically heavy armor of his and Xemnas at full zebra power/twilight Xemnas.)

Moros's crown has the Organization XIII sigil on it, the artist (Susan) put that on the crown at the behest of Moros' creator. (Saren/me)

Moros made as a sort of tribute to Organization XIII from KH2.
