Misery the Hedgehog is an 18-year old goth hedgehog, and the older sister of Twilight the Hedgehog. She lives with her brother and adoptive mother on Isle Togerra, where she works as a waitress for the ice cream parlor Sunday Flavor.
While she herself isn't a member of the Funky Town Gang, the girls look up to her as an "Older Sister", and is willing to provide any advise or help to any member. She carries a cane with her due to suffering a deformity in her foot.
Appearance[]
Misery is a hedgehog with dark purple fur, black hair that she keeps cut short, teal eyes, and has pale white skin on her muzzle, arms, and inside of her ears. Like her younger brother, she sports gothic attire that mainly consists of a black dress, gloves, high-heeled boots, and white tights. She sports three different sets of earrings, and carries a silver cane with her, due to the fact that she suffers from a deformity in her foot.
Personality[]
Unlike her brother, Misery is more open to the world and not depressed at all. She has a more level personality, and considers the Funky Town Gang as close friends. Her temperament is more easy, and she has a sense of maturity. Her age gives her some teenage wisdom, and doesn't hesitate to provide advice for her friends. Like her brother, Misery is also irritated by anything annoying, and has an intense fear of clowns.
She deeply cares for her younger brother, and often can't help but worry about him at times. She concerns with her brother's antisocial ways, and his obsession with resurrection and dark magic.
History[]
Misery was born the oldest daughter of Bluebell Evanstar with her brother Eric "Twilight" Evanstar being the youngest. They lived in Spagonia, where their mother worked as a lab assistant to Professor Pickle. When she was eleven years old, a malfunctioned Egg Walker Robot set their house on fire after shooting Mrs. Evanstar. Misery & Twilight escaped, but became orphans that night. They were placed in the orphanage, where Ceecee Cleebo, an aspiring student of the University, adopted them. When Miss Cleebo graduated, they moved to Island Togerra in a town on the face of a mountain, where they went to the same school.
Time healed Misery's wounds, and she soon rehabilitated herself into not mourning the past forever. In fact, she believes that her experience and escape made her realize how lucky she and her brother are, and became a form of role model for younger girls.

Like her brother, Misery has a deep dislike towards bright sunlight, and has a severe fear of clowns. Her deformed foot makes her susceptible to losing her balance without her cane, and finds it hard to keep up with people when they run.
